A Thousand Years

"She was trying to open her eyes," Edward said. "but I think she might be having a nightmare and I, understand that she's been through a lot of pain, even stress."

"I know," He said. "The last I lost my powers and now I know what's she's going through right now, but nothing could explain how I feel about, even if there's no way to explain it."

Then suddenly she opened her eyes. "Guys, I'm awake now." She said, then she tried to sit up.

"We know you are." Tommy said, sitting by her side. "Edward's gone to get some water." He also added.

"Okay."

Then Edward heard his phone ring, from his pocket.

"Hey, Carlisle." He said, answering the phone.

"Hey, Edward." he said. "Alice had a vision about Tommy. She said that Tommy's going to die and also said that your gonna have bring Gabriella with you, after Tommy dies. Because I can't let her live on her own."

"Okay." He said. "But we'll have to tell her sooner or later."

"I'm back with some water for you, Ella." He said, coming back into the room and he gave her the water, then she started to drink it.

"Tommy, I cheated on you." She said. "But I'm in love with Edward Cullen. He got me pregnant."

"Why didn't you tell me before?" He asked her.

"Because I know you still love me." She exclaimed. "I'm so sorry."

"You better be." He shouted at her.

The day we met frozen,

I held my breathe,

Right from the start.

"Thank you, Edward. For my water." She said, laying back down to get some rest.

"Your welcome, Ella." He said as he left the room to go back home and just then, Tommy carried Gabriella upstairs to bed.

And turned the lights out and got in beside Ella, then he kissed her forehead and bid her goodnight.

"Good night, Gabriella." He said, while Edward sat down. In the living room, waiting for the next day to arrive.

"Hi, Edward." Tommy said greeting him in the door way.

"Hey, Tommy." He said. "Where's Gabriella?"

"She is still asleep in bed and actually, she's fine." He said, talking really fast.

I knew that I found the home for my heart.

Beats fast colours and promises.

How to be brave?

"She should be waking up soon, Tommy." He said, walking upstairs to found Gabriella fast asleep in bed.

'Why is she still asleep, any way?' He thought to himself.

"Hi, Edward." She said, starting to wake up from her beauty sleep.

"Hi, Gabriella." He said, as he sat at the edge of their bed.

"Have you found a way to convince my sister that your a vampire, Edward?" She asked him and he nodded no.

"No." He said. "I haven't found to convince her yet. She still wouldn't believe me."

"Well, you got me to believe you." She said, as he knelt down to her fore head.

"I know, I have." He said, then they heard Tommy scream from down stairs.

They hurried down stairs to find blood everywhere.

"Gabriella, you have to go with Edward to the Cullen House." Tommy said. "They will help you."

"What happened, Tommy?" Edward asked him.

"There...was...a...murderer...in...the...house." He said, stuttering. "You have to take care of Gabriella. For me and the baby is yours, not mine. Promise me that you won't leave her side and that you won't leave her alone to die"

"I will have to take her and the baby with me, Tommy. And I promise that I won't let her die." He said, as Tommy let out one last breath.

Then they called the police.

"What happened, Gabriella?" Hotchner asked her.

"I was just up stairs talking to Edward and the next thing I heard was Tommy screaming in the living room." She explained to him, pouring a glass of water for him.

How can I love, when I'm afraid to fall?

But watching you stand alone?

All of my doubt suddenly goes away somehow.

"Thank you." He just said and left the house.

"Gabriella, Carlisle said I can't leave you here on your own." He said. "You have to come with me."

"I know I have to." She said. "I have no other choice."

"Gabriella, there's something you should know." He said. "But I think it can wait."

"I guess it can wait," She said, looking straight into his eyes. "Until we get to the Cullen House."

"Why don't I just tell you now, Gabriella?" He asked, opening the cars door.

"Okay," She said, taking a breathe of fresh air into her lungs. "You can tell me now."

"My family said there's about 3 other vampires looking for you." He said, then she gaved him the worried look.

"Why would they be after me?" She asked, confused.

"I don't know," He said. "I shouldn't have said anything to you, Gabriella. I was just worried about you. That is all, I needed to tell you." Then he looked into her brown eyes.

"Do I have anything on my face?" She asked him.

"No," He said. "You don't have anything on your face, Gabriella."

"Then what is it?" She asked, curiously.

"I'm just wondering how you and Tommy were ever together in the first place." He replied to her. "But that doesn't mean anything."

"Is that why you were mad at me, when I first arrived to the school, even your sister, Rosalie was mad?" She questioned him.

"Yes," He said. "It was because we saw you with Troy and Tommy. That's why I didn't say anything to you. Because I thought you would have known back then."

"The heart never lies." She told him.

"How does your heart not lie, Gabriella?" He asked, as she put her head on his shoulder.

"Because when I was with Troy, I never knew you loved me that day," She said. "you let me slip right through your fingers after I left for Texas and Las Angeles. I never knew how you felt for me."

"I guess you didn't," He said. "But there's one other thing you didn't tell me."

"And what is that one other thing?" She asked him.

"Tommy told me that you were pregnant with his baby," He said. "Is it true?"

"No," She said and looked away from him. "he was un-expecting it, but he swore to protect us."

"And then he found out that the baby wasn't his?" He asked.

"Yes," She said. "the baby wasn't his, it was yours. I understand that you aren't going to accept it." Then he took her into his arms and parked outside the house.

"Gabriella, I will except it." He said and walked her up the stairs, then into the house.

"What is she doing here?" Rosalie asked her.

"She's just lost her husband, Rosalie." Alice shouted at her. "She's luckily to have every right to be here."

"I guess your right." Rosalie sighed, then suddenly, Gabriella became dizzy.

"Carlisle, what are you doing?" Esme asked, while he helped Gabriella onto the couch, so that she can get some rest.

"I was just helping her." He replied to her.

"Oh, okay." She said and then she went out to hunt for a while.

"Carlisle, where did she go?" Edward asked, worried.

"She went out to get some food for herself, Edward." He explained to him and he went to sit beside Gabriella, while she slept.

"Alice, do you think she'll make it?" He asked her.

"I can't see her future anymore." She said, with a sigh.

"I know you can't." He replied, bitterly. Then went up stairs and saw Jacob from the distance.

'Edward, what's happening with Gabriella?' Jacob thought to himself.

'Nothing, Jacob.' He said answering his question of thought.

'Well, something's going on with her.' He answered back.

Then he went to sit downstairs with the others and watched Jacob leave the forest with Leah Clearwater.

"Carlisle, what happened to my sister?" Gabriella asked, still half asleep.

"Your sister died and, so did her daughter," He said to her. "But we are trying to keep you alive, so you could marry Edward and have your child with him. It was planned before Tommy died."

"So he told you to keep me alive?" She asked.

"Of course he told me to keep you with us," he said. "so that no-one would ever kill you, or us lot."

"Carlisle, can I talk to you alone?" Edward asked.

"Of course you can." He said, leaving Gabriella on her own.

"Before Tommy died," He said. "He told me that the baby wasn't his and, then he told me to look after his girlfriend, but that is the promise I am willing to keep for him, even if Gabriella excepts it, after the baby's born."

"I believe you, Edward." He said, as Alice joined them.

But then they went back to check on Gabriella, who was already fast asleep on the sofa.

Beauty in all she is

"I almost forgot to tell you, Carlisle." Edward whispered, trying not to wake Gabriella up from her beauty sleep.

"You saw Jacob today," He said. "didn't you, Edward?"

"Yes," He said with a sigh. "I did. But he asked about Gabriella, to see what was going on with her."

"So, he was just curious?" He questioned.

"Yes, he was." Edward told him and went out to do some hunting with Emmet.

"Tommy, where are you going?" She asked him.

"I'm dead now." He said. "I'm going to heaven now, but remember that I'll always be in your heart, Gabriella."

"Tommy, wait." She yelled, but he was already gone.

Then she woke up screaming from her nightmare and Carlisle wrapped his arm's around her, as she began to cry.

"Are you okay?" He asked her.

"No," she said. "I just had a horrible nightmare, and it was about Tommy. He told me that he had to leave for heaven, and that he will always be in my heart. At first I thought he was joking, but he was telling me the truth, so he just left me alone."

"Gabriella, look at me," He said and she looked at him. "people leave for a reason, but you understand that, right?"

"I do understand, Carlisle." She said, putting a smile back on her face, then laid back down to get some more sleep.

The next day, Gabriella woke up with Edward by her side.

"Good morning, Gabriella." He said with a smile.

"Good morning, Edward." She said, smiling back at him.

"Carlisle told me that you had a night mare last night." He said. "You told him that it was about Tommy, and what he said was true. People do die for the one's they love."

"I agree." She said. "But what's gonna happen if I die after giving birth?"

"I don't know." he said, looking over at the window. "No-one really knows what's going to happen to you, Gabriella."

"Why?" She asked.
