Hey guys it's Natsu here.

Pretty sure I'm gonna change my name back. I liked it. Plus this new one messes up my intros. Haha. Anyway let me know what you guys think of the story so far any feedback is appreciated as long as it's constructive. God I have a sequel already planned out... I wanna get it started so bad... I have a new character I want to introduce too but she's gonna have to wait. Okay enough of the stuff you don't care about. Lets get to our story. New chapter let's roll.

Ch 31: Lucy vs Famine

"I'm so hungry..." Famine whined as he gripped at his stomach. He then licked his lips as he gazed upon Lucy "you look good enough to eat..."

Lucy recoiled at his comment and reached for one of her keys, pulling out her Capricorn key "sorry pal, I'm not on the menu!"

"We'll see about that..." Famine breathed out creepily.

Lucy felt her spine shiver with disgust. She thrust her arm out and turned Capricorns key "open! Gate of the goat!" She cried out as a golden light came from her key and from that light came her loyal friend Capricorn. She then pulled out another key. The key of the maiden Virgo "gate of the maiden! Open!" Another golden light flashed and out came the pink haired maid Virgo

"I am here lady Lucy, what have you called me for?" He asked as he bowed to Lucy. Virgo stared blankly at Lucy "is it punishment time princess?" She asked as she looked at the hungry eyed Famine.

"I need you two to fight off that freak over there!" Lucy yelled as she pointed at Famine.

Capricorn bleated and elegantly ran toward Famine while virgo dug under the ground to serve as a trap for the horseman. Famine seemed unfazed and simply stood laughing creepily. When Capricorn went for the strike, the hooded young man took a sluggish step to the side and the hit that the supremely faster Capricorn should've made missed. Virgo came from under the ground and made a spinning attack. Her chains spun at high speeds aimed directly for Famine's head. Again Famine simply performed another sluggish duck and Virgo's attack was wasted.

Famine stood again and faced the two spirits he raised a shaky hand at them "Hunger pangs" He said in a hushed and weak voice. Nothing happened for a brief moment then Capricorn and Virgo fell to their knees clutching at their stomachs. The only either of them could think about was the intense pain in their stomach. Famine giggled and raised his hand again, a sickly green energy appeared in his palm "starvation ray" he said. A large beam of energy shot from his hand and shot right toward the immobilized Capricorn and Virgo. The beam hit them and then surrounded them in the same sickly green energy. Their bodies began go limp and they looked pale and almost boney.

"Capricorn! Virgo! Get out of here!" Lucy ordered the two of them as she closed their gates. The spirits turned into golden light and disappeared. Lucy hesitantly took out another key. She didn't want her friends getting hurt. This kid was stronger than she had originally expected.

"what's the matter girly? Where's all that fire you had earlier?" Famine teased with a toothy smirk "looks like my meal has no bones…" he licked his lips and stalked toward Lucy.

Lucy shuddered. What could she do? He'd demolished her spirits almost effortlessly. She readied the key in her hand. Loki's key. Hopefully he could help. Pair him with Aries maybe? She grit her teeth and turned her key."Open! Gate of the lion!" She called and a golden light appeared. Then out popped Loki or Leo. She then took out Aries' key "Open! Gate of the ram!" She called forth her fluffy friend.

"Worry not Lucy... your knight in shining armor has arrived" Loki said with a smirk as he adjusted his glasses.

"S-sorry I'm late.." Aries whimpered and nervously shuffled around.

"Oh! More food!" Famine shouted happily.

"Get him you two!" Lucy ordered her spirits.

"Of course darling!" Loki said as he rushed famine with the powerful golden regulus energy around his fists.

"I'm sorry if I fail" Aries held out a hand and she got a more determined look on her face "wool shot!" She attacked as well while Loki fought up close she hit with projectiles.

Loki went toe to toe with Famine. Striking with grace but ferocity. Left jab to a right one. Sweeping kick to an an uppercut but Famine dodged it all with the same strange movements as before. Like he wasn't even trying. And each wool shot from Aires was dodged with the same ease.

Aires eventually joined in the hand to hand as did Lucy. Lucy cracked her whip at Famine's feet while Loki feinted a strike to his face allowing Aires to get behind the horsemen. "Wool bomb!" She shouted then sent a large stream of wool at Famine from behind while Lucy and Loki retreated. It was a direct hit and Famine was engulfed in wool and fell to the ground stuck in Aries pink and incredibly comfy wool.

"Take that you freak!" Lucy shouted at the boy. Aries and Loki smiled at their victory. Until Famine started laughing.

"Thank for the meal!" He said to them as he began to devour the wool. He freed himself in seconds and licked his fingers "mmm... tastes like cotton candy" he said then looked over at Lucy and the two spirits licking his lips again "my turn.." he raised another shaky hand covered in sickly green energy "Starvation..." he whispered weakly. Two beams of energy shot at Aries and Lucy. It was so fast almost not noticeable. Lucy was frozen as Loki jumped in front of her and took the shot. Instantly he fell to the floor clutching his stomach. His hair became dry and his stomach was sunken in, his eyes were becoming dull and he was pale. Aries suffered the same fate and all the while Famine was giggling in delight.

Lucy began to son as she saw her friends in such pain "go back you two! Go back now!" she demanded and with a flash of golden light. The spirits were gone and safe leaving Lucy to fend for herself. As tears streamed down her cheeks she growled at the young man in front of her "I'm not going to let you hurt anymore innocent people. That goes double for my friends..." she wiped away her tears and stood strong.

"I'll do whatever I like. Especially after you're in my stomach.." Famine giggled again and donned a creepy grin.

Um... All I can say is... I'm sorry! Especially to my old followers. Lots of things just came coming up. I've been busy with my new girlfriend and making my first video game. Programming is a pain in the ass! Anyway I'm so sorry for the really late post. I'll get Gray and Wendy's fight up as quickly as I can! Pestilence shall be fought!
