Hey Guys - that was a good cliff-hanger... dum dum dum... well here's the next chapter for you to find out what happened.
Rory kicked the door behind her and it opened, wiggling out from underneath Sapphire she breathed the fresh air, the breeze brushing her hair and face, reaching back into the car she pulled Sapphire out, helping the woman to her feet. Sapphire cringed when she put weight on her left foot, Rory noticed this and encouraged the woman to use her as a crutch. Walking slowly away from the vehicle, they saw a car coming towards them and waved it down, the woman slowed down and rolled her window down,
"Oh my god, what happened" the woman noticed the wreck.
"Ring the police, please help us" Rory begged, the woman called the police straight away, she told the operator that it was a car accident and it wasn't long before an ambulance and two police cars were on the scene.
The police officer approached the two women that were currently sat in the back of the ambulance,
"Can you give me your names, please" the officer asked,
"I'm Rory Gilmore and this is Sapphire" Rory informed him,
"Sapphire?" he asked indicating he wanted to know her full name,
"Sapphire Johnson" the other woman clarified,
"Can you tell me what happened here?" the officer gestured to the vehicle where both men were being pried from the vehicle, one man clearly dead.
"Yes, we have been held captive by those men, I was kidnapped from Hartford, Connecticut some days ago..." Rory began to explain,
"I have been held captive for roughly a day, I woke up in the cabin after meeting them in a bar" Sapphire finished, the officer assigned a police officer to escort each man to the hospital, and assigned a younger female officer to go with the girls in another ambulance.
The officer called in the accident and the names of the girls escorted to the hospital.
At the Rangers Station
Detective Monetti sat in the ranger's station, his brain whirling hoping he would be able to find this girl before they disappeared again, the radio next to him buzzed to life, Det. Monetti listened boredly to the officer informing the operator that he was accompanying two female to the hospital who had claimed to have been abducted, he listened to the officer say the girls names and sat up abruptly, he listened to the name of the hospital come over the airwaves, grabbing his car keys he informed his officers were he was going.
Pulling up outside the hospital he asked for the officer who had discovered the accident, after he was pointed out to him by a nurse, he went to ask him some questions,
"Detective Monetti, and you are?" he introduced himself,
"Officer Jacobs, how can I help you?"
"I would like to know who was brought to the hospital from the car accident"
"2 females and 1 male, one female petite and brunette, the other taller and redhead, the male is stocky possibly 18-25 hispanic"
"Is this one of the female's" Det. Monetti showed him a picture of Rory,
"She is pretty dinged up but yeah that's her, was she really abducted" the officer asked,
"Yes I was assigned to investigate the case, could you please tell me which room the male is in" Officer Jacobs pointed to the room across from him and Det. Monetti turned and walked into the room.
"Can I have your name" asked the man laid in the bed,
"Hector Esposito" the man croaked out,
"Who hired you to kidnap Rory Gilmore?"
"Shira Huntzbe..." the machine the man was hooked up to flatlined nurses rushed in to try and save the man but their efforts were futile" Detective Monetti banged his fist on the table at the bottom of the bed , he was going to have to be creative to get Shira Huntzberger convicted.
