Hey Guys, as always I do not own Gilmore Girls! But Its always fun pretending hehe... so here it it the next chapter I am sorry I haven't updated for a bit xx

Rory Gilmore walked into Logan's room and slumped into the chair next to his bed, she was beyond weary and she couldn't believe what had happened to her in the last week. Lorelai knocked on the door and she smiled at her daughter as her granddaughter ran in and hugged her mom,

"Mommy" Rose ran and hugged her mom as tight as she could, she hadn't seen her for days, she may have been 5 but she knew that something was wrong, every adult she had had contact with had been sad and despondent and now she could see her mom and even though her mom didn't look very well and she had booboo's on her face, Rose was desperate for a hug.

Rory hugged her daughter as hard as she could, she loved her daughter and was so happy to finally be able to see her and hug her after the hell that she had endured at the hands of her baby's paternal Grandmother. Logan reached for Rose and she grabbed his hand, she moved to climb on to her father's bed, snuggling up next to him she smiled up at him, after a few seconds she must have realised that once again she was physically separated from her mom and sat up, pulling on Rory's arm she pulled her onto the bed and Rory cuddled up with Rose and Logan, Mitchum and Lorelai watched this whole exchange with smiles on their faces and backed out of the room quietly.

"How are you Lorelai, I assure you if I knew what Shira was upto I would have put a stop to it, I would have called the police" Mitchum tried to explain,

"Mitchum please, none of this is your fault, apart from marrying the woman a couple of decades ago" Lorelai tried to joke, Mitchum looked like the joke had not worked, he was drained with the dramatic happenings in his family and he was unable to get his head around what exactly had happened, his wife, the woman who he had loved enough to marry, they had children, she was devious but he had never thought she would do anything like this.

"Seriously Mitchum, you can't blame yourself for this, she did a horrible thing, but you didn't know she was capable of these things, I am sorry that you feel that this is in some way your fault but really now you need to try and move passed this and be there for your son, Rory and Rose." Lorelai comforted him as they sat outside the room, after a short while Lorelai decided that she should probably take Rose home, walking into the room she gently lifted Rose from between her parents and carried her out of the room but not before tapping Mitchum on the shoulder and motioning for him to watch because Rory and Logan snuggled into the space that Rose had left, Logan held Rory like she was the piece missing in his life which Mitchum and Lorelai were sure she was.

The next morning Logan woke first and smiled as he felt the warm body that he was wrapped around, his brain not being very fast at realising that he had not had a warm body in his bed for a while and that it should be out of place. Eventually his brain caught up and he opened his eyes slowly, a flow of lush brown hair covered his chest and a slender arm lay over his torso, shifting slowly, he smiled at the vision that was Rory laying next to him, her soft body forcing a biological reaction that caused his eyes to focus on the ceiling tiles, he began counting them in an effort to distract himself. Rory awoke with a smile on her face, she had stirred in the middle of the night and realised where she was and just who she was cuddled up to, her inability to pull away from the man she should have married all those years ago had caused her to once again make herself comfortable and fall back asleep, she looked up at Logan and watched his eyes move slowly in a back and forth motion, her brow wrinkled when she heard his mutter a number. Rory sat up slowly and Logan became aware that she was awake, their eyes met and Logan rose up onto his elbows and pulled her to him, Rory gave in to her desires and leaned down to meet him halfway, their lips met, the feelings Rory had been trying to hide since Rose had been born resurfaced with fury and she deepened the kiss much to Logan's liking, neither of them noticed the two pairs of eye that were watching them until the pair of men wolf whistled loudly and whooped in order to disrupt the couple.

The couple broke apart and Logan smiled as the blush rose in Rory's cheeks and she hid her head in Logan's chest, Colin and Finn moved further into the room and sat either side of the bed, Logan and Rory filled them in on everything that had happened since Rory had been found, Finn hugged Rory as tight as he could, before returning to his seat a sombre silence filled the room because Finn had cried and everyone realised what exactly Rory had been through. The door opened slowly and Sapphire wheeled in,

"Erm Rory, can I speak to you a minute?" she asked, reversing out of the room as Rory followed her,

Rory's POV

Rory followed Sapphire out to the corridor and sat in one of the chairs that often lined hospital halls,

"Is everything ok?" Rory asked her friend, worried as she hadn't spoken about her treatment for the various injuries she had gained in the crash. Sapphire seemed to pick up on what Rory was asking about and smiled at the girl in front of her,

"Yeah I'm fine, my foot will heal, hopefully the scars will fade and life will return to normality, well sort of"

"So what's up?" Rory asked, keeping her mind from wandering back to the feel of Logan's lips on hers.

"I was wondering... and if its too much it's ok... I really dont want to go back and live with my father... I can if you want me to but I was wondering..." her rambles cut off when Rory answered the question she hadn't even asked yet,

"You can come and stay with me, we should probably make sure its ok with Logan, as we would be living in his house in Hartford but I don't see why not, you saved my life?" Rory teared up, how could she refuse the girl who had saved her life and become her friend in the process, not that she wanted to say no, the two girls entered Logan's room once more, Rory shaking her head at Finn's antics as he dived for the chair across the room when he noticed them coming back in.

"Logan would it be ok, if Sapphire, Rose and I come and stay with you at your house in Hartford, I don't think I can go back to Starshollow and live above the diner" Rory asked, knowing the answer before she even asked,

"Of course Ace" Logan smiled, "So you must be Sapphire" he shook her hand and smiled,

"Yeah, thanks I will be out of your hair faster than you can say "Overstayed your welcome" she smiled,

"No worries love, his casa is your casa, I mean he wouldn't be bothered, I... Logan I mean" Logan and Colin smirked at Finn's flustered state.

Finn's POV

Rory was sat outside talking to the most stunning girl I had ever seen, her skin pale but with freckles that speckled her skin like a sprinkling of first snow, cuts and bruises I just wanted to kiss and make go away,

"Logan who is that beauty talking to Rory" I asked, unaware my friends were laughing at me,

"I assume that's Sapphire" Logan answered, I heard the humor in his voice but ignored it I was too lost in her eyes, they lit up as Rory nodded her head and said something, I was mesmerised by the emeralds that glanced my way briefly, I was so lost in my thoughts of her I got caught returning to my seat when they returned to the room, she ran her fingers through her hair nervously, I almost choked, how had I not noticed the deep red hair before now, she was so beautiful I stumbled over my words when I waded into the conversation, I am unsure why I did that but I almost growled at Colin and Logan with their stupid smirks on their faces.
