Hey Guys - I have been asked about the previous chapter, basically because Sapphires foot is broken she can't start her job at the Inn so she needed somewhere to stay till she heals.

"So Sapphire, how do you know our lovely Reporter Girl?" Colin asked, even though he was pretty sure it had something to do with her kidnapping,

"Reporter Girl is you I assume?" she asked Rory who nodded, "I was with her in the cabin, I was taken from a bar" she held her head high, waiting for the judgements,

"she saved me actually, she got our hands free and if it wasnt for her plan I don't know where we would be now" Rory detailed further,

"Well in that case I owe you my life" Logan told Sapphire, he gripped Rory's hand tighter in his,

"She pulled me out of the car after it crashed" Sapphire countered,

"Wow two amazing women in our midst boys" Finn smiled at Sapphire who blushed at his attention,

Rory and Logan had a conversation with their eyes that Finn and Sapphire missed but Colin caught, he knew they were discussing Finn and his new infatuation, Colin and Logan however knew that he had never been flustered around a girl before, so this was different.

"So Blue and your girls will be moving in with you Logan, will you need help moving loves, me and Colin are happy to help" Finn offered their services,

If you wouldn't mind, I don't know if i can go back to my apartment yet" Rory's sad face quitened any protests from Colin and Logan who caught the "yet" was sad for a whole other reason.

The group talked for a while until Sapphire began to get tired, and Finn offered to take her back to her room, Logan spoke to the doctors and he told them he wanted to go home, they said he could as long as he was careful and no heavy lifting or strenuous work. Colin brought the car around as they packed Logan's stuff, Rory called Finn and informed him they were going, he said he would drive Sapphire to Logan's and meet them there. Rory shook her head at her friend, she knew she had to have a word with him.

Logan's house was a large one in the suburbs of Hartford, he had acquired it some time ago after moving back from California, he hadn't spent much time in it alone, he was glad to have it full for the first time since he had bought it, Colin and Finn had vowed to stay as long as they were needed as they had gotten time off so they could help their friends and with Rory and Rose in the house as well as Sapphire he knew it wouldn't be quiet again for a while, he hoped it wouldn't be quiet again after his kiss with Rory, but they needed to talk.

Colin helped him into the house as Rory grabbed his bag and followed them, she had called Lorelai and informed her of her plans as soon as they had left the hospital, Lorelai wanted her to stay at the Crap Shack but she understood her need to not relive the event just yet, by coming back to starhollow. Logan told Rory she could have any of the room's she wanted upstairs, she chose the room next to his and across from Rose's room, he was happy about that. Colin set Logan up on the couch. Finn and Sapphire arrived a little later, laughing and in their own private world.

Lorelai brough Rose over and she clung to her mom as soon as she saw her, it took Uncle Finn suggesting ice cream for her to let go. That evening the adults sat down to watch a movie after Rose had been put to bed, Rory snuggled upto Logan which went unnoticed by no one and it wasn't long before Sapphire was nodding off, Logan had already offered her the room at the end of the hall with the biggest private bathroom so she could naviagte it easily with her wheelchair, and after Finn returned from helping her to her room he had the biggest smile on his face.

It didn't take long for Rory to sit up and decide she needed to address the situation,

"Finn you really do like red heads don't you" Rory smiled at him innocently,

"Yeah I do, so what?" he answered obliviously,

"Well I just happened to notice that Sapphire is a redhead" Rory pointed out,

"I'm just being friendly love" Finn explained when he caught on, "I just think she needs a friend thats all"

"Just a friend?" Rory questioned,

"Yeah love" Finn finished the conversation with a tone of finality that made Rory actually look at thim, he looked sad for some reason, he put his almost full glass down on the table and announced he was going to bed,

"Colin, is that his first still" Logan questioned pointing to the glass,

"Yeah must be, the drinks cart is here next to me and he hasn't passed me once" Colin answered quizzically,

"Hmm interesting" Logan stated,

"What's interesting?" Rory asked,

"Well you see, Finn can easily drink a full bottle before being even slightly tipsy, he often has more than one glass, he has been talking to Sapphire all through the movie and he loves them just as much as you Rory and classes it as blasphemy to defile a movie by talking during" Logan began,

"Add that to the fact that he helped her to her room at the hospital and here, he hasn't made a pass at her or even hinted jokily about his love of redheads, which he often does especially in the presence of a pretty redhead, wether he actually likes her or not, his flustered state at the hospital and his "just friends" label on their friendship which he has never described his relationship with any girl ever no matter of a platonic nature or not, I think Finn actually really likes her" Colin finished.

All three of them sat thinking about what they had just discussed, Rory was happy for Finn but worried for Sapphire, would she lose her friendship with either of them if they dated, she felt a bit selfish but she couldn't help it, Colin smirked because unbeknowst to the rest of them that he was off the market thanks to Steph and him finally getting his act together, the third and finale musketeer could be hanging up his sword.

Colin climbed the stairs and went to bed, he began to feel like the third wheel, the spare part as Rory and Logan began to banter and laugh at the film they were watching. Rory and Logan hadn't noticed Colin's absense as they were too invested in each other, Logan kissed Rory on the cheek and asked her if she would like to go to bed,

"Erm Logan, I don't think that is a very good idea, we haven't even discussed what we are yet"

"Oh Ace I hate it when you work blue" Logan smirked,

"Seriously Logan" Rory laughed,

"I was just thinking that instead of you sleeping in your big bed all alone, we should share my big bed and keep each other warm" Logan smiled at Rory but when her serious face didn't change he smiled again, turning her head to face him he kissed her again "Ace I just wanted to sleep, I swear, I thought we could just cuddle." Rory smiled at him and they made their way to bed, Rory changed in the bathroom and Logan stripped to his boxers and slid into bed, Rory joined him a few minutes later wearing a T-Shirt, they lay together cuddled up and before Rory fell asleep she heard Logan tell her he loved her.
