Drabble:127
POV:Rose

So, one evening, Christian and I were bickering, as usual, in his and Lissa's palatial kitchen, when Lissa walked into the apartment and dropped her coat and briefcase on a sofas before walking over to the kitchen.

We continued our verbal mouth-off, waiting for Lissa's intervention, but when she didn't try to put an end to our banter, even after 5 minutes, both Christian and I simultaneously ended our exchange to curiously look at Lissa, who was stirring her tea with a dazed look on her face. Chris and I exchanged concerned looks before I nodded at him and approached my best friend, who was now sitting on one of her kitchen stools.

"Liss? What's up?", I called out, coming to stand beside her. "Lissa?"

No reaction.

Exchanging another anxious glance with Pyro, I snapped my fingers mere inches from Lissa's face, praying that this wasn't spirit-induced, whatever this was. "Earth to Lissa!", I cried.

At that, she seemed to come back to us, losing her unfocused gaze. "Wha-what's going on?", she asked us, voice slightly flustered as her eyes shifted between the two of us. "Oh, Rose, it's you."

Who else, I was tempted to say, but I repressed that urge and instead asked her again what was wrong and whether she'd been using too much spirit recently.

"Oh no. No", she answered me with a nervous giggle. "I was just looking for you"

"You let me off early, remember?", I asked her, exchanging yet another glance with Christian, this time due to Lissa's uncharacteristic nervous display."Did you need something?"

"Nothing. Nothing, really", Lissa said. Cue nervous giggle.

"So why are you so flustered?", Christian asked with a frown. "And don't even try to deny it", he added when she opened her mouth to protest. "Your cheeks are flushed, you keep on giggling and you're hardly meeting either of our eyes. So seriously, what's going on?"

Lissa's eyes darted between the two of us, weighing her options before she let out a world-weary sigh. "I actually forgot that, so I went looking for you in your rooms and bumped into Dimitri."

"Okay", I replied, still mystified.

"And uh—he was umm, he had just returned from the gym, so he was, he was shirtless", she finally confessed, blushing like crazy.

My mind immediately jumped to images of Dimitri when he returned from training-hot, sweaty and gorgeous-and my very indecent thoughts and actions which a shirtless and sweaty Dimitri regularly inspired, and I totally understood Lissa's dazed look.

"Oh", I said, smiling hugely. "Yeah, oh", Lissa acceded, finally meeting my eyes.

"Excuse me, I gotta go. You know, places to be, people to see", I bid them a hasty farewell, shoving on my coat and almost running towards the apartment's door.

Christian's 'don't slip in the shower and break your neck' reached me as I closed the door behind me and went hunting for my extremely fit and scorchingly hot boyfriend, who was not only shirtless, but probably embarrassed too by now.

I found him in our apartment, sweatpants hanging on his hips, en route to the shower. Smiling like the Cheshire cat, I approached him, my intentions obvious. Talking to him about his attire could wait, this could not…
Now cue the proverbial curtain close so I can enjoy various not-safe-for-viewers'-eyes-or-mind activities with Dimitri.

Okay, so firstly, today is the anniversary of the day I began writing fanfic for VA, and in honor of that, I decided to put up the first drabble I ever penned, but hadn't publish before.
I'd like to thank everyone who has read, reviewed, followed and favorited Moments, or even just viewed it. Thank you for your time and your love, and encouragements, and I hope you stick with me for the long haul.
Just a request to guest reviewers, could you please leave your names, because sometimes some of you post the most fascinating and hilarious comments, and I can't properly thank you for that.
And as for the pending drabbles that I've been requested to pen, fear not, for I'll post them in the coming days...
For now, I'll end this ramble with a thank you. This journey's been an honor and privilege.
Take care, you lovelies.
Cheers!
