16. Chapter 16: Monty Oum

A/N: Hello, I rarely would make an update like this for The Monsters Within, but I feel as if I need to make this update. As I am sure you are all well aware by now, Monty Oum, The creator of RWBY and animator at Rooster Teeth, has sadly passed away On February 1st, 2015 . You can learn more on Matt's journal at Rooster . Any death is tragic and this one is no exception. However, Rooster teeth has asked us be creative despite this rather large loss. Whatever you do,

DO NOT ASK ABOUT THE FATE OF RWBY, they will tell us in time. But for now, remember the man who has brought us countless smiles to our faces.

But do not despair.

For the dark storm clouds will pass and give way to the sunlight.

To quote Iroh from Avatar, "Sometimes life is like this dark tunnel. You may not be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. But if you keep moving, you will come to a better place."

Be Creative, write a story, draw some fan art, and make a video. Let us do something for Rooster Teeth in their time of need.

For Rooster Teeth, Sheena and Monty's family: Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this understandable time of crisis and mourning.

For the rest of us: Let us show our support and do something creative with the wonderful work a brilliant man has brought us.
