Hey guys! This is Black Fuego with the newest addition to the Life at Beacon family and the story I had the most fun writing; Baltazar and Weiss's first date! I had dozens of different ways to write this, but I'm satisfied with what I've written. I hope you guys liked reading it as much as I did writing it. Enjoy, mates!

Disclaimer: I don't own the RWBY series or any other franchises mentioned in this story, but I am excited for season 2 of RWBY to start this summer.

Timeframe: After chapter 8 of BLAD of RWBY and JNPR

Couples: JaunexPyrrha, WeissxBaltazar

Date for Two plus Eight

"Oh my God, I can't believe this is happening! You're going to have the best day ever! Of all time!"

"Easy, Ruby. Don't you think you're getting too excited about this?"

"I think you're too unexcited about this! It's your first date with the person you love! You're supposed to be 'jumping off the walls' happy, not sit on your bed and read a book like you're bored."

"I agree with Ruby on this one, Weiss. I love books, but even I wouldn't act like how you are right now if the guy I loved asked me to be his girlfriend and promised to take me out on a date tomorrow."

"Unless it's a cookbook, Blake. If she's gonna make her future hubby happy with her food, then Future-Sis is going to need all the help she needs."

"Three things, Yang: I'm not reading a cookbook, insult my food once more and I'll throw you out the window again, and for the last time I am not getting married to Baltazar!"

It has been nearly a week since the fieldtrip to Forjador City and team RWBY was spending their free time in their room talking. Due to an incident that happened during the fieldtrip, the girls, along with their friends; Teams JNPR and BLAD, were given a week off from classes and were excused from writing a report of Forjador City if they so choose, and given extra credit if they did write it. So far only Weiss, Pyrrha, Ren, and Baltazar wrote a report, with the lightning ninja only doing it because he had to leave for a family reunion, at Forjador City ironically, and had to write the report early. It was also during this fieldtrip that the ninja/leader of team BLAD and the glyph caster team RWBY became a true couple, much to their friends' joy and amusement. The two, however, requested that no one would tell anyone about the lightning ninja's heritage for a while. If word got out that the heiress of the Schnee Dust Company was dating a Faunus, it will spell trouble for not only them, but their families as well. Everyone agreed, and promised to not tell a soul about their tiger friend until stated otherwise.

Currently team RWBY was talking to Weiss about her very first date with her first boyfriend tomorrow and the girls are kind of upset with the heiress's lack of enthusiasm about it.

"That's not what the bouquet and garter say," Yang grinned as she held up her phone to reveal a thirteen year old Weiss in a white dress standing next to a thirteen year old Baltazar in a dark blue tuxedo, both staring in the direction of the camera with light blushes and confused expressions on their faces, with Weiss holding a bouquet of roses and Baltazar wearing a light blue garter on his head like a tiara for some reason.

"Will you delete the damn picture already!" Weiss yelled at her blonde teammate as she rushed over to her to grab the phone, but Yang simply smiled smugly and held the phone over her head, out of reach of her second shortest teammate.

"Didn't Baltazar short circuit her phone when she showed that picture to everyone back at Forjador City before we left?" Blake asked in confusion as she turned away from her teammates playing keep-away with Yang's phone. "He was pretty embarrassed when his aunt Blanca told us the story behind the picture and looked pretty mad when she sent a copy of the picture to Yang of all people."

"Yang has a lot of back-up phones," Ruby explained with a shrug.

"In all seriousness, though, why aren't you excited about your date with Sparky?" Yang asked Weiss in a serious tone, surprising the young heiress. "I thought you love him? Don't tell me you're having second thoughts about being his girlfriend. Is it because he's a Fa-"

"Don't you dare finish that sentence, Yang Xiao Long," Weiss interrupted with a stern voice and heated glare, "I have been unsure of many things in my life, but how I feel for Baltazar is not one of them. I don't care that he's a Faunus! He's my best friend and I love him with all my heart! When he asked me to be his girlfriend, it was the happiest moment of my life. I may not look it, but I am elated that he asked me out! Don't you or anyone else think otherwise!"

"Then why are you not showing it too?" Ruby asked calmly.

"Because I'm trying not to show how really nervous and scared I am too!" Weiss shouted out with tears threatening to fall, much to the surprise of her teammates, "I've never been on a date before, I don't know what to do! I've been too busy training and studying to become a huntress ever since Baltazar left Forjador City, and the few guys that did tried to ask me out I turned down because they wanted to get close to my Father and his company! Father himself made sure that no boy would even think of getting near me without his permission. The only guy that he and Mom ever approved of was Baltazar, despite being what he is! You have no idea how relieved I was when they told me that!"

The frightened teen then slumped onto the floor and hugged her knees, "I promised him that I will be the best girlfriend that he'll ever have, but how can I do that when I was never even a girlfriend once to begin with?"

"But Weiss, Baltazar was never a boyfriend to anyone either. He's on the same boat as you are," Ruby said, trying to calm down her teammate.

"I know that, he told me himself," Weiss sighed. "But I'm sure that he's been on dozens of dates since he came to Vale. After all, despite his shyness, he's a good person. Who wouldn't go out with him?"

Immediately after hearing that Yang exploded in hysterical laughter, surprising her teammates greatly, especially Weiss.

"Hahaha! Sparky! Going on dozens of dates! Hahaha! That's the most hilarious thing I've ever heard of!" Yang laughed out. "You of all people know how shy he is! That timid bolt of lightning would rather fight a dozen Ursa Majors in his underwear with nothing but a spork and wearing a hunk of meat for a hat than go out on a date with anyone when we were in Signal! I tried to set him up with literally ten different girls during the beginning of our third year and he turned down every single one of them, and they were almost as hot as I am! When Signal hosted its mandatory date dances, he refused to go with anyone, even if it meant being suspended or expelled. Heck, even I tried asking him once and he said no, to ME of all people!"

"You're vanity is showing again, Sis," Ruby sighed, taking note of the surprised looks on Blake and Weiss's faces.

"The point is, Sparky never went on a date before, because he was forced to leave the only girl he would ever date," Yang continued seriously. "He never said your full name, but he always talked about you, about the adventures you two went on, and how much he cared and missed you. Yes, he was kinda popular with the girls in Signal because of his generally kind and helpful personality, but none of them had even a sliver of a chance to take his love, heart and attention, because you managed to take them before he came here. You've known him since childhood, you're his best friend, you know more about him than Ruby and me put together, and you two have the strongest bond I have ever seen in my life."

She then placed a reassuring hand on her friend's shoulder, "He's been practically waiting for this moment since he first moved here, Weiss. He's just as inexperienced in dating as you are, so you have nothing to worry about. I know for a fact that he's stressing about this as much as you are, but I'm telling you that it'll be fine. All you have to do is be yourself, and everything will work out. Ok?"

Weiss stared at her blonde teammate with a stunned expression. She couldn't believe that her best friend turned down so many girls simply because of her. He even turned down Yang, arguably one of the best looking and sought after girl in both Signal and Beacon, because he wanted to be with her. She began to look down and started tearing up again, worrying her team again when they noticed the small but truly happy smile on the white haired girl's face.

"…I just had to fall for the kindest and sweetest dunce in all of Vytal, didn't I?" Weiss laughed quietly, wiping away her tears, "He could've been going out with anyone better than me, including the woman beside me, but he'd rather be with me of all people. I don't know why he'd settle for me, but as long as he's happy, then I'm happy."

"He's not settling. He loves you, plain and simple," Blake said sternly, "I may not know Baltazar as much as you three do, but I can see that he loves you with all his heart. Everyone in Beacon does. I've seen how he interacts with others in this school compared to us and especially with you. He's polite and helpful, if a little quiet and closed off at times, but he opens up more when he's with us and his friends, and he's like a different person when he's with you alone. Happier, more expressive, more outgoing, you're a positive influence to him and vice versa. If there's anyone that deserves to be together, it's you two."

"Truer words have never been said, Blake," Ruby grinned.

"You got that from that Ninjas of Love book of yours that Ruby accidentally read, didn't you," Yang smirked, causing both Ruby and Blake to blush furiously and look away from the laughing blonde.

Weiss was smiling now, feeling better than she had earlier. The doubts in her mind having been cleared by her friends, she joined Yang in laughing at their blushing teammates. After the two calmed down, she cleared her throat to gain their attention. "Well…now that that's settled, would you girls like to come to the mall for me? I want to find a good dress to wear for tomorrow and I was hoping you all can help me."

"Of course we will!" Ruby exclaimed happily.

"We'd be happy to," Blake nodded.

"I'm in!" Yang grinned, "In fact, I have a good idea on what you should wear tomorrow."

"As long as it isn't skimpy," Weiss sighed. "I wonder if Baltazar really is nervous about our date as well."

-Cafeteria-

"I am so bloody nervous right now, mates," Baltazar muttered to his teammates as he set his head down on the table.

Team BLAD was relaxing in the cafeteria, getting themselves a light snack before dinner, as Baltazar began to feel more and more nervous by the upcoming date by the minute.

"Dude…you sounded just like that Sniper class in that Team Fortress game in your computer," Ash said in wonder.

"Ash, focus! Can't you see that Chief is getting really nervous about tomorrow?" Dia said in an exasperated tone.

"I just don't get why he's so nervous, though," The redhead shrugged, "I mean, sure he's going on a date with the woman he loves, but he's acting like he's never been on a date before. I mean, with his looks and personality, I'd think he'd gone out with at least a few girls by know."

"That's because he hasn't," Levy sighed, surprising her teammates, "You have to understand that Baltazar is, among other things, shy by nature. He never went on dates before because of how timid he gets around people sometimes. And even if he wasn't so shy, he still wouldn't have gone out with anyone else, because he'd fell like he's betraying Weiss in a way."

"Really…is that true, Balto?" Ash asked his face down leader.

"Yeah…I even turned down Yang's offer for a date, which we did in front of almost everyone in our year," Baltazar sighed, surprising his team greatly, "The guys back at Signal couldn't stop look at me like I was an idiot for weeks."

"Not gonna lie, if I didn't know you're in love with Weiss, I would've thought you were stupid or gay for turning down Yang's offer," Ash said without remorse, not aware of the heated glares coming from his female teammates.

"Meh, I wouldn't blame you. The guys thought the same thing," Baltazar shrugged, head still down, "But after a while they all apologized for that and looked like they got struck by a force of destructive nature when they did." He then lifted his head slightly to look at his teammate with bored, golden brown cat eyes, "Just like you're about to be."

Ash simply stared at his leader with a confused expression, "Huh? What do you-"

*POW!*

"Gah!" The injured red head held his head in pain as Dia dusted off her hands and Levy stared at her with an impressed expression.

"That's what you get for calling our leader a queer, Ash," Dia said with a stern tone of voice. "Not that there's anything wrong with that, but still."

"Ow…could've just lashed out at me verbally instead of physically, Dee," Ash groaned.

"Women don't work like that. Trust me," Baltazar chuckled, "And to think, you called Cardin out for having no tact."

"Says the guys who called his girlfriend a short tempered witch like one of her aunts when we were kids," Levy countered with a raised eyebrow.

"I was a kid, we had no tact then," Baltazar defended himself.

"Back to the date, though, do you have any idea on what to wear for it?" Dia asked curiously.

"I got some nice things in our closet, but I'm still debating on what movie we should go to after our walk through the park," Baltazar replied.

"The trip to Rosso's still up?" Ash asked as soon as his head healed, "I mean…you got a free meal coupon for it from that 'Let Sleeping Rens Lie' bit we did a couple months ago."

"Nora read the thing wrong. It's actually half off on the lunch buffet that's offered at around noon," Baltazar explained, "Doesn't really change our plans, though. It actually speeds things up a bit because we don't have to wait on our food. Helps me save a little money for the movies too…if I can finally decide on what to watch."

"I think I have a movie recommendation for you," Levy grinned.

"Problem solved, dude!" Ash exclaimed, "Now quit being so nervous and start being excited! You got a hot date with an ice princess tomorrow and it's going to be the best date you'll ever have!"

"That's right!" Dia grinned, "Now let's head back to our dorm and get out your date clothes. Levy and I will decide if it's good or not."

"Lovely," Baltazar sighed as he got up from the table, "I wonder if Weiss is as nervous as I am right now."

"Probably," Dia shrugged as she pushed her leader towards the exit, with their teammates following close by.

-The next day-

"Well, dude, I have to say, you're looking pretty good right now. No homo, of course." Ash nodded in approval as he looked over his leader.

Baltazar was dressed in a midnight blue polo shirt with a pair of black dress pants, black dress shoes and a dark blue open jacket. The red head insisted that the short leader should wear contacts instead of his regular glasses, but the lightning ninja was very adamant about keeping his glasses. He was also with the snowflake necklace that his best friend turned girlfriend made for him with his help.

"Thanks man," Baltazar smiled as he grabbed a small bouquet of red and white roses from his bed.

"Red and white roses, dude?" Ash asked curiously. "Kinda cliché, don't you think?"

"It helps when you know what they mean, Ash," Dia said, "Red roses mean I love you, while white roses have several meanings, but Chief is going for the innocence and purity meaning. Putting them both together symbolizes unity, meaning that Chief wants to be with Weiss as long as possible."

"You know a lot about the floral language, Dia," Levy stared at her teammate with wide eyes.

Dia shrugged her shoulders, "Forest village girl, remember? I use to go out and pick flowers whenever I was bored as a kid, and when I was sent to Serenity Island for school, I looked up the meanings for the different flowers I found back home. Heck, my entire village is centered around flowers. If my huntress career doesn't work out, I can always open up a flower shop or something."

"Always good to have something to fall back on," Baltazar nodded in approval as he walked out of the room with is team following. He then moved to team RWBY's door and knocked on it gently.

"Coming!~" An eager voice sang as the door opened to reveal Yang with a large grin on her face, "Damn, Sparky, you look good. If I'd known you look this good, I would've kept pestering you to going out with me instead of asking once."

"And I would've kept saying no over and over again," Baltazar smirked, "Going out with you would be like going out with a close relative of mine. It'll feel weird and very uncomfortable."

"Didn't you say that you had a crush with your distant cousin Liz from your dad's family a while back?" Ruby asked as she poked her head from behind her sister.

"Dammit Ruby, did you have to bring that up?" Baltazar groaned with a red face.

"Relax, Baltazar. I won't hold it against you. You were only eleven when that happened and you got over her pretty quickly," A calm, happy voice called out from inside the room, causing the sisters to grin and move away from the door.

The lightning ninja's eyes went wide as he saw the vision of beauty in front of him. There, standing in front of the door, was his new girlfriend Weiss Schnee, wearing an elegant light blue sundress that ended at her knees, a pair of small snowflake earrings, and a small jacket similar to her old one, but with shorter sleeves. What shocked the leader the most was his date's hair, which was simply let down instead of in a ponytail like normal. It was simple, but for Baltazar, it was breathtaking.

"Wow…" Baltazar whispered softly.

"Hehe, I think you broke Sparky, Nievita," Yang giggled.

"He always did like it when I had my hair down," Weiss continued to smile softly, "I rarely have it down whenever I go out, but I think it'll be ok for today, if my new boyfriend's reaction is anything to go bye."

"Yo, dude! Snap out of it," Ash sighed as he slapped his leader upside the head. "Man…it really is your first time on a date, isn't it?"

"Wha…?" Baltazar looked at his friend with a dazed and confused expression before remembering where he was and began to blush a little and laughed sheepishly.

"Oh don't get all shy on us now, Sparky," Yang smirked, "I see those roses in your hands. Did you buy them or did you steal them from your brother's secret garden again when we came back."

"Secret garden?" Blake, Ash and Dia asked in unison.

"Tell you later," Levy smiled as she nudged her cousin closer to his date.

Baltazar stumbled a little but managed to straighten himself before he could fall to the floor, much to Weiss's amusement. The shy teen then cleared his throat and then handed his bouquet to his date, who accepted it gratefully.

"You…uh…l-look amazing Weiss," Baltazar managed to stutter out, scratching his neck nervously.

"Thanks. So do you," Weiss smiled warmly as she picked a white rose and put it in her hair, making Baltazar blush a little more and smile back just as warmly.

"I'll find a vase for the roses," Blake said as she took the flowers from her white haired friend, "You two should get going."

"They're right. Let's go," Weiss nodded and wrapped her arm around Baltazar, blushing slightly as she did so. Baltazar was blushing a little himself, but had a smile on his face. The new couple waved at their friends and proceeded to head into town.

"Ah…they grow up so fast," Yang sighed, wiping away an imaginary tear.

"You can say that again," Levy nodded, "It seems like only yesterday that the three of us were running around, playing tag and sneaking into the kitchen to find sweets."

"Ah…" Both Yang and Levy sighed together, not saying a word to one another, when Yang turned to Levy with a large grin. "Shall we go spy on them?"

"I'll go get the fedoras!" Levy exclaimed as she rushed back into her team's room in a violet blur, confusing everyone but Ruby, who had a very excited look on her face.

"…Fedoras?" Blake asked.

"Not a clue," Dia shrugged, "And can someone explain to me why a mechanically knowledgeable kid like Chief's brother has a secret garden of roses?"

-Park path, after lunch-

"…And the next thing we knew, the two of us were being chased and attacked by a flock of super huntsman roosters with Speed Semblances of all things. All because we were having a discussion on what kind of chicken we should get at MFC and they overheard us," Baltazar finished his story with a slight tone of exasperation and looked at his date with a smile, who was practically in tears due to all the laughter she was doing.

The pair was walking around in a park nearby on their way to the movies. Their lunch together went well, despite the slightly awkward start. It was short, hesitant small talk in the beginning until Weiss let slip that she accidentally ruined her family kitchen in an attempt to cook, causing her date to laugh hysterically. Not wanting to make her feel too embarrassed, Baltazar told his new girlfriend about the time when he and his brother were locked out of their house in the summer and were arrested for trying to break into their home, much to Weiss's shock and amusement. After revealing their embarrassing stories to one another, the pair became much more relaxed and began to enjoy their date more.

"Oh God! Hahaha! That really happened?" Weiss laughed out, wiping away her tears, "I remember when we were being chased by dogs because of you back in Forjador, but I never would've imagined the same thing would happen with you and Yang, with roosters of all things! Hahaha!"

"Those hunks of burning feathers also managed to rip off our shirts before the farmer managed to get them off of us," Baltazar chuckled a little, "The girls wouldn't stop touching my stripes to see if they were real or not and the guys couldn't stop staring at Yang's gauntlets… That's what she calls her boobs by the way," He explained once he saw the confused look on his date's face.

"Why am I not surprised," Weiss laughed again a little, "Well, to be fair, Yang and Ruby's father must've done something well to equip his daughters with ballistics like theirs."

"Have you been playing my games again when no one was looking, because I remember that saying from one of my zombie shooter games," Baltazar asked with a grin, "Come on Weiss, everyone already knows that you're a gamer because of me. You don't need to hide it."

"I still feel embarrassed about it, though," Weiss admitted with a light blush on her face, "Besides, Yang and Ruby don't really like the same genres that I do. Yang's more into fighting games and Ruby's into shooters. I'm more into RPGs and platformers, the same genres you like."

"That's true but I like to branch out sometimes. I enjoy a good shooter and fighter every now and again, and I do have a couple party games that I play with my team that we all enjoy," Baltazar shrugged. "May I suggest playing with Nora and Jaune? Those two are pretty skilled gamers. Nora's actually very skilled in puzzle and racing games and Jaune's a genius when it comes to strategy and dance games."

"Oh I know how skilled Jaune is in dance games," Weiss said in a teasing tone, "I seem to recall you and him playing against each other earlier this week and how easily he wiped the floor with you."

"I can't dance well, you know that," The lightning ninja pouted, "And it doesn't help that we're going to have dances later on for the festivals coming up soon."

"Oh don't worry about it. I'll teach you everything you need to know about dancing," Weiss said with an air of superiority around her.

"Sure thing, as long as you let me teach you how to cook…although that's going to be quite a challenge. Even Mom thinks you're a lost cause in that regard," Baltazar teased good naturedly.

"Oh hush you!" Weiss pouted this time as her boyfriend laughed, but soon a small smile appeared on her face at the thought of spending more time with him outside of classes.

While the two enjoyed themselves, they were unaware they were being followed by their teammates. Shortly after the pair left, teams RWBY and BLAD decided to spy on their date, while wearing special colored fedoras that Ruby and Levy made the night before Jaune and Pyrrha's first date with Yang watching them. According to Levy, the fedoras are made with special materials that are capable of suppressing one's aura, allowing them to spy on the new couple without Baltazar being able to sense them, with the only drawback being that they can't use their aura while wearing the hats. Ruby also managed to place small recording devices in their tracker necklaces that she'll be able to remove once the date was over. When asked how she did it, Ruby replied that Baltazar gave her a couple lessons in stealth a while back. Nora and Ren also joined in on the spy brigade shortly after everyone else got ready, saying that Jaune and Pyrrha were out on a date themselves and they had nothing else to do.

"Looks like they're having fun," Yang grinned as she stared at the pair with binoculars.

"Even though Baltazar told Weiss about the fire rooster incident you two had during the fieldtrip to that animal hunter farm during your second year that left him shirtless and you in your flame print bra in front of everyone in your class?" Ruby asked curiously, her headphones on in order to listen in on the couple's conversations.

"Meh, I'll get back at him later," Yang waved off.

"Dammit…why does my leader have to be such a lucky bastard," Ash cried out with rivers of tears falling from his face. "He's Sunny's best friend and former roommate, the Ice Princess's boyfriend, and little Rosie sees him as an older brother! Hell, he has my partner, a beautiful archer, as a teammate and the sweetest and most kindhearted girl in our year is his not only his partner, but also his freakin' cousin! Is there any other women here that he has have a close connection to that I don't know of."

"Well, Balty and Blake are ninjas and they do talk about different stealth strategies sometimes. Then there's the training he does with Jaune and Pyrrha from time to time. And the two of us are gaming buddies and always team up against the others whenever we play those free for all fighting games he has," Nora listed off, further depressing the flirty redhead. "I've even seen him hang out with Velvet lately. Apparently she was very happy when she learned that Balty is a Faunus and was hoping to get to know him a bit more."

"Oh man…I can't decide whether to be angry or be proud of my leader for his connections to women," Ash sighed dramatically.

"Get over yourself you flirtatious fiend," Blake hissed, not amused by the red head's actions.

*POW*

"All good, now!" Dia grinned, holding a fist up in front of her and a beaten Ash with a lump on his head right beside her.

"…When did you get so violent, Dia?" Levy asked her teammate.

"We're being trained to fight monsters for a living, Levy. We're supposed to be violent," Ren explained in a monotone.

"Quiet guys! I'm getting something!" Ruby whispered harshly to the others.

"What do you have, Ruby," Yang asked as she looked for the couple that she lost a moment ago.

"…I hear crying. A kid crying," Ruby muttered, making the others stare at her in shock and surround her to listen in.

-With Baltazar and Weiss-

"There, there. It's going to be ok," Weiss said in a soothing voice as she tried to calm down a young crying girl who looked no older than seven. The pair was wandering around the park still when they heard the girl crying on a park bench nearby. It seemed that the child got distracted by a nearby cat that she seen and tried to catch it. However she ended up lost in the process and began to cry out for her family.

"I want my mommy and daddy!" The lost little girl cried out.

"Poor little cub…" Baltazar frowned in sympathy before he reached into his sweater and pulled out a small black case. "Maybe a song might calm her down."

"You have an instrument with you?" Weiss looked at her boyfriend while the little girl stated to cry less as curiosity began to fill her.

"Yup," Baltazar nodded as he opened his small case to reveal a black piccolo that, for some strange reason, was covered in green dots. "I'm a musician, remember? We should always be ready to play if needed. I also some weapons on me also, including my old pistol sais Rayos and Truenos, just in case."

"So what song are you going to play?" Weiss asked curiously, trying not to laugh at the sight of the oddly designed instrument.

I've got a couple, but for now I'll go with a little march called 'The Thunderer'," Baltazar grinned and started to play a joyous and upbeat march.

The song brought an excited smile to both Weiss and the little girl. After the song ended, Baltazar began to play other songs of that nature, resulting in multiple applauses from his audience of two.

"Ok, now I'll end my concert with a piece I picked up from listening it in a movie a while back. It's called 'Oración'," Baltazar explained with a bow and started to play the soothing melody.

The moment the song reached Weiss and the young girl, both were hit by a wave of soothing calmness that they couldn't explain. It was so soothing that the little girl started to doze off and soon enough, she fell asleep on Weiss's lap. As soon as the musician ended his piece, he looked at the sleeping child with a small smile on his face as Weiss stared at him proudly.

"Heh…looks like I calmed her down too much," Baltazar joked quietly.

"It's better than the alternative, Baltazar. Great performance," Weiss congratulated with a soft applause. "Now how are we going to find the girl's parents?"

"Looks like we don't need to," Baltazar smirked and turned to his side. Weiss followed his direction and was surprised to see Pyrrha and Jaune walking towards them, with what she believed to be the child's parents. The heiress turned to her boyfriend in shock, who simply smiled at her, as the father of the child rushed over and picked up his sleeping daughter.

"Thanks so much for finding my child," The man thanked gratefully.

"We truly appreciate you all for finding her. We owe you so much," The mother bowed to the young students.

"It was no trouble at all, mam. We were just lucky enough to hear her while we were walking" Baltazar replied calmly, absentmindedly twirling his piccolo in his hand, "I've been in similar situations as well involving my brother and sister, so I know how you guys must've felt."

"It was a good thing Jaune sensed you with their child while they were with us," Pyrrha looked at her boyfriend with a proud look. "Those hours of training are truly paying off."

"It's all thanks to you guys," Jaune smiled sheepishly, scratching his neck as he did so.

"Still, we can't thank you all enough," The father repeated. "If there's anything you need, let us know and we'll do everything in our power to help, as a thank you for finding our precious little princess."

"Not a problem sir. We've got quite a bit of experience protecting princess anyways," Jaune said with Baltazar nodding in agreement, giving a not so discrete glance at their own red and white haired princesses, who began to blush a little and grabbed their hands with a smile.

"We can see that," The father laughed as he saw the expressions on the two couples' faces.

"We better let you all get back on your dates," The mother smiled, "Again, thank you all so much for helping us."

The four students waved goodbye to the departing parents, happy to have helped them, when Jaune turned to his short ninja friend in confusion.

"Baltazar…why do you have a polka-dotted piccolo?" The young swordsman asked.

"Ah…Cereza helped me make it," Baltazar admitted sheepishly, "I was bored at home one day a couple years ago and decided to make a piccolo for the hell of it. She was with me and insisted on helping. After I finished it I went to the kitchen to get some snacks and by the time I came back, the little princess managed to paint the piccolo with some green paint I had laying around because she thought it wasn't finished. I wanted to punish her, but all she wanted to do was help, so I let her off with a warning."

"Does the paint affect your instrument in any way?" Pyrrha asked.

"Nah," Baltazar shook his head, "The pain Sarah used was a special artist paint that I won in a junior craftsman's fair back home when I was six. It didn't affect the body if you smell it or taste it, but it will make you sick if you swallowed it. The paint's also very hard to remove, so I just settled for leaving it on Pickles. It doesn't really do any harm."

"Pickles?" Weiss asked incredulously.

"I know…" Baltazar hung his head in depression, "That's the last time I let my sister name my works."

"So where are you guys heading?" Pyrrha asked, "Jaune and I were on our way to the movie theater when we found the parents looking for their child."

"We were heading there ourselves," Weiss explained, "Levy saw a movie called Frozen and recommended it to us yesterday after dinner."

"That's what we're going to go see," Jaune grinned. "Pyrrha hasn't seen animated movies before, so I'm taking her to see this one."

"I've been training since I was a child," Pyrrha admitted with a reluctant tone, "I never had a chance to go see animated movies such as this before. In fact, I've only seen a small handful of movies besides documentaries, so I'm looking forward to this."

"Well then, what are we waiting for?" Baltazar grinned, "Let's head to the theater before the seats are filled up!" The lightning ninja then grabbed the polarity huntress and rushed over to the theater.

"Baltazar, slow down!" Weiss exclaimed, "You're getting too excited over a movie! Wait up!"

"Hey! Give me back my girlfriend!" Jaune shouted, "Oh come on! You know I'm nowhere near as fast as you guys!"

-With the group of spies-

"Huh…so Nicky never saw an animated movie before? Who would've thought?" Ash mused, rubbing his head to nurse the bump he received from his teammate.

"Think we can get the sisters over there to stop laughing," Ren asked in an even tone as he pointed at Ruby and Yang, who were both laughing hard enough that they were rolling on the floor.

"Oh my God, he still has Pickles the Polka-Dotted Piccolo! I can't believe it!" Yang laughed out loud, binoculars laying on the ground next to her.

"Cody told me about Pickles, but I never thought that I would actually see it! It's too funny!" Ruby giggled loudly, her headphones hanging on her neck.

"Calm down you two. It's not that funny," Blake frowned.

"Hey! They're getting away!" Nora exclaimed, looking at the disappearing couples with a telescope.

"They're heading to the Vale Movie Theater," Levy stated calmly. "We have to move. Someone carry the laughing sisters and let's go."

Not about to argue with the kind medic's sudden leadership role, Ash picked up Yang while Ren grabbed Ruby, and the teams began running to the theater themselves.

"H-Hey Nora, wait!" Dia called out, "Give me back my telescope! It's my souvenir from Forjador City that I'm sending to my parents. I still have two more payments on that thing!"

"Who makes payments on a souvenir?" Ash muttered in disbelief.

-Vale Movie Theater: After movie-

"Man that was a great movie!" Jaune smiled with an arm wrapped around Pyrrha as they walked out of the theater with the new couple.

"One of the best animated movies I've seen in a while," Baltazar agreed, his arm around Weiss's waist. "And trust me; I've seen a lot of movies like that thanks to Sarah."

"It has been a while since I've seen a movie like that," Weiss smiled, laying her head on her black haired boyfriend's shoulder. "I thought it was going to be too childish, but I was happy to be wrong."

"Thanks for taking me to the movies, Jaune. I loved it," Pyrrha smiled brightly at her blonde boyfriend and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "It was better that what I expected. No wonder you like these kinds of movies so much."

"I'd knew you like it," Jaune grinned before turning to the other pair, "We're going to get ourselves some dinner right now. You guys want to come?"

"Nah. We're just going to have dinner back at Beacon," Baltazar shook his head.

"We're just going to grab a little snack at the ice cream shop nearby before we head back to campus," Weiss explained. "We'll see you when we get back, ok?"

"Sure thing," Jaune waved as the two couples went their separate ways.

-Roof of theater-

"I'm a criminal. I'm a criminal. I'm a criminal. I'm a criminal," Ruby repeated over and over again, hugging her knees and rocking her-self as she did so.

"Ruby, I think you may be over-reacting," Blake said evenly as she watched her leader suffer a breakdown.

"I just recorded an entire movie without permission," Ruby muttered in a frightened tone, "I just committed a crime. I pirated a movie. I'm a felon now."

"You stole that movie theater's treasure chest full of gold and sunk its ship into the ocean?" Nora asked innocently.

"Wrong pirate, Nora," Ren sighed.

"Speaking of pirates, can I have my telescope back?" Dia asked.

"Ruby, will you calm down?" Yang asked in exasperation. "Seriously, all you did was record the voices. You can easily edit them out once you get the listening devices off their necklaces."

"Uh…guys?" Levy called out in a nervous tone, looking at the couple they were following with Yang's binoculars, "We've got trouble."

-With Baltazar and Weiss-

"I have to say, 'Let It Go' was possibly the best song in that movie," Baltazar smiled.

"Really? I like 'For the First Time in Forever' more," Weiss admitted.

"The original version or the reprise version?" Baltazar asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Well, well, well, look what we have here boys," A smug voice called out, instantly annoying the new couple.

The ninja and fencer looked in front of them and frowned as a trio of dirty looking thugs approached them, a large one with brunette hair that was easily the size of Cardin, a jittery looking black haired one that was as tall as Jaune and Ren, and the apparent leader of the group that had blond was just barely taller than Baltazar.

"Looks like we lucked out boys," The blond one snickered, "We managed to walk in on a date with a couple of rich folk!"

"Yeah, boss! They look like they have a lot of money," The jittery one nodded rapidly, "Especially the pretty boy."

"Pretty boy?" Baltazar repeated as he looked over himself, "Uh…mate? How am I a pretty boy? I have a scar the shape of a lighting bolt on my face, dark blue highlights in my hair, and wear dark glasses because my eyes are sensitive to sunlight. How the hell does that make me a pretty boy, Mr. Jitters?"

"Ignore the idiot. He's on a sugar high right now," The blonde one groaned and palmed his face, "Oh, dealing with hyperactive nuts is such a pain in the butt."

"You can say that again…" Weiss agreed and glared at her boyfriend, who had the decency to look sheepish at her.

"Ok, enough talking!" The blonde shouted. "Look, we're here to rob you! Now just give us your valuables and I won't tell my big friend over here to turn the guy into a pancake while the lady comes with us."

"Ay," The big guy nodded, punching his fists together.

"Robbing us, eh?" Baltazar said as he looked over the thugs. "Hey Weiss, mind stepping back a bit? I want to teach these guys something."

"What are you planning to teach them?" Weiss said as she slowly walked back.

"Just a little thing that I've picked up as a kid called 'Shinobi Battle Skills'," Baltazar said with a smirk.

"Shinobi? Like a ninja?" The blonde laughed, "Are you telling me that you're a ninja? What a riot!"

"Hey boss! Can I fight this one?" The hyperactive thug asked, "I've always wanted to fight a ninja."

"Hey, works for me," Baltazar grinned as he reached into his coat, "Now, let us begin with the first shinobi battle skill: Taijutsu. Also known as martial arts."

"If you're going to fight with your fists, then why the hell do you look like you're getting a weapon?" The leading thug questioned.

"Good question. And here's your answer," Baltazar said with a light chuckle as he brought out a book, a book that instantly brought a blush to Weiss's face.

"Baltazar! Why do you have a copy of Ninjas of Love in your jacket!?" The Dust fencer shouted.

"Because I lost my copy back at Forjador and I asked Blake if I can borrow hers until my new one comes in," The lightning ninja explained calmly as he began reading, "It's actually a fairly good romance series, Weiss, your favorite genre. You should ask Blake for one of her older copies once we get back."

"Uh…" The jittery thug looked confused, "Are we going to fight now? Because I really want to fight!"

"Oh sure, go ahead," Baltazar gestured to his opponent, not taking his gaze away from the novel in his hand, "I'm not stopping you, Mr. Jitters. Besides, I promised my friend that I'll return this book by tomorrow and I'm almost done with it."

"Okay, your funeral," Mr. Jitters shrugged and launched himself at Baltazar and tried to punch him, only to be blocked by Baltazar's free hand.

Surprised that the cat eyed teen managed to block the attack with ease, while reading a book no less, the thug jumped back and quickly moved to Baltazar's side and delivered a strong looking kick to the head, but to his surprise, the reading teen simply squatted down and dodged the attack without even looking away from his book.

Starting to become frustrated by his foe's evasiveness, the thug attempted one more punch at the squatting ninja when his fist hit nothing but air. He blinked in surprise, realizing that the ninja disappeared right before he was about to try and punch him again, and started to look to his sides to find him.

"Where are you looking at?" A calm voice chuckled out, startling Mr. Jitters. Turning his head slightly, he saw Baltazar crouching right behind him, his book closed and his hands clasped together, with his middle and index finger sticking out. If one were to look closely, they would see that his fingers were emitting small sparks, barely seen by anyone without good eyesight. The lightning ninja's position caused the thugs to stare at him strangely and Weiss to gasp loudly and cover her mouth with her hands, a bright blush covering her face.

"Oh, and a bit of advice, try not to let your enemy get behind you too often," Baltazar grinned before speaking in an overly dramatic tone and prepared to move his hands, "Forjador City's Secret Finger Technique!"

*Poke*

"…"

Mr. Jitters simply stood where he was with a confused expression when he felt something go up his butt. His mouth went agape as a strange tingling sensation flowed through his body. Seconds later he was launched into the air and grabbing his behind in pain, screaming as he flew. Soon after he landed on the ground, passing out as soon as he did, and for some reason his butt was smoking.

"A Thousand Years of Death…" Baltazar finished calling out his technique and stood back up, opened his book and began reading again like he hadn't just poked a guy in the butt a few seconds ago.

The thugs simply stared at the lightning ninja with looks of disbelief while Weiss looked away from him, a mortified look on her face.

"…What the hell was that?!" The blonde thug shouted.

"Can't tell you, Blondie. It's a secret," Baltazar stated, eyes not leaving his book and greatly infuriating the thugs.

"Dammit you wannabe shinobi, you're in for it now!" Blondie shouted, "Get him now!"

"Aye," The big thug nodded and began to stomp towards the reading ninja.

"Geez…so impatient, aren't you Jumbo?" Baltazar sighed as he closed his book, "Well. I guess it's time to start he next lesson."

"And what lesson is that?" Blondie asked angrily, only to widen his eyes in shock as Baltazar began to slowly fade away from existence.

"Shinobi battle skill number two: Genjutsu. Also known as illusion arts," Baltazar said calmly, his voice echoing as his semblance took its full effect, completely turning him invisible.

"What the hell?" The leading thug shouted, "When did…how did…were we …what's going on!?"

"Wouldn't you like to know," The invisible ninja's voice echoed in the streets, greatly scaring the thugs.

"Dammit, come out and fight like a man!" Blondie exclaimed angrily, "Or do you want anything bad happening to you precious little girlfriend?"

"And here I thought I was blind…" Baltazar's voice chuckled, "Tell me, where is my girlfriend? You know, the one you want to hurt?"

"Huh?" Both thugs had confused looks on their faces as they turned to where Weiss was standing, only to realize that she was not there anymore.

"Heh…so your girlfriend left you alone? That must happen a lot," The leading thug taunted, trying to get a rise out of Baltazar.

"Actually, I'm the one who usually leave girls alone," A smug voice called out from behind the thugs. "I wasn't much of a social person as a kid."

The two jumped and turned to see Baltazar standing in front of a wall with his arms crossed and a smirk on his face. Jumbo began to scream and charged at the ninja, his fist pulled back, while Baltazar remained unmoving, the smirk still on his face. As soon as the thug fired his fist at the ninja, he was surprised to see his fist simply passed through the ninja, like he wasn't even there, and ended up punching the wall instead, the image of the lightning ninja disappearing after the punch was thrown.

Gripping his hand in pain, the large thug looked down and became confused that there was a glowing metal star on the ground where the ninja was just standing. Beside the star was a strange looking knife that was emitting sparks. The thug could only widen his eyes in fright before the knife suddenly exploded in electricity, electrocuting him and causing him to fall to the ground, passed out from the pain.

"What the…?" The blonde thug was speechless with what just happened.

"Illusions. Very handy skill to have, isn't it?" Baltazar snickered from behind the thug, surprising him greatly, before the ninja was grabbed by the shirt, preventing his escape.

"Got ya, ya stupid wannabe!" The blonde growled before smirking, "Now whatcha gonna do now?"

"Nothing much," Baltazar shrugged, "Just give you the final lesson."

"Oh? And what lesson would that be," The leader asked smugly, before his victim suddenly became coated in electricity, shocking his hand and forcing him to let go.

"The third shinobi skill," Baltazar muttered as the sparks started to die down and his eyes turned blue, "Ninjutsu: the ninja arts. I don't really need to explain about this, right? After all, you must have seen what I've considered ninjutsu countless times already." He then began to smirk, as a pair of sais slipped out of his sleeves. "Our world calls them our Semblances, the different abilities we possess by our auras."

"What?" Blondie's eyes went wide as he began to realize who he was fighting. "Oh man…you're a huntsman?"

"He's not the only one," A cold voice called out and suddenly the thug was unable to move his legs. Looking down, he noticed that he was inside a paralysis glyph, courtesy of the white haired huntress-in-training suddenly behind him.

"Feh, pathetic," Weiss scoffed, a small glyph in her hand, "You acted so tough when you had your idiotic lackeys, but without them, you're simply a good for nothing lowlife."

The blonde thug began sweating profusely. Both his guys are down because of the black haired huntsman and he himself was trapped by the white haired huntress. He was done and he knew it.

"What should we do with him?" Weiss asked as she saw her boyfriend drag his defeated opponents to a nearby lamp post.

"Put him over here with the others," Baltazar replied, his blue eyes locking on to the captive briefly before looking back at his girlfriend, "I've got some wire on me so we can tie them up. I've already called the police and explained to them the situation when I activated my semblance. They'll be here soon."

Weiss nodded as she trapped her captive's hands with another glyph, acting like a set of handcuffs, and forced him down to the others while Baltazar tied all three thugs up to the pole with his high strength wire.

"Hey Blondie, one more thing," Baltazar said calmly, and the only conscious thug flinched as he swore he saw a bolt of lightning in the ninja's blue eyes, and slipped his sais back in his sleeves.

"W-What?" He asked fearfully, before he was struck with a blow to the head from Baltazar's piccolo case, causing him to pass out.

"That was for threatening my girlfriend," The young musician smirk as he put his instrument case back into his coat. He was about to talk to Weiss when she suddenly slapped him upside the head hard.

"OW!" Baltazar clutched his head in mild pain. "Weiss! What was that-"

"That was using that stupid 'Secret Finger Technique' your dad taught you, you dolt!" Weiss shouted, "You're lucky that no one was here to see it! Do you have any idea how embarrassing it would've been if someone were to see you do that?"

"Ok, ok, jeez. No need to be such a jerk about it," Baltazar grumbled, "You didn't need to slap me either. Is this going to be an every day thing? Because-"

Baltazar was interrupted this time by Weiss pressing her lips into his own. The ninja only had a chance to kiss back for a moment by instinct before the heiress pulled back, a light blush and a small smile on her face.

"…I guess I'll have to get used to it," Baltazar finished calmly, his eyes back to his normal golden brown color and a smile on his face.

"That was for doing so well against those lowlifes," Weiss explained, "You were kind of showing off there, but you handled it well nevertheless. And I see you learned a few new tricks as well."

"You talking about that copy you saw earlier?" Baltazar asked as he brought out the intricate shuriken he used earlier, "I was using a new weapon that I created when I was back home. I call it the projector shuriken. I'm still working on it, but I'd say that this was a successful test run."

"Cody did say you were working on something while you were back at Forjador," Weiss mused, remembering the little tidbit of information the young weapons smith gave to her friends.

"A whole lot of somethings actually," Baltazar admitted, "Including the new upgrade for Gentle Storms, I've been working on new elemental arrows for Dia so that she can channel her semblance into them without any problems. There are also a few other things that I've made, but I'll wait until the combat portion of midterms exams to show them off."

"That's right, they're coming up pretty soon," Weiss realized with wide eyes. "Do you think that you'll do well in them?"

"Some of them," Baltazar sighed, "The physical portions will be no problem, and the math and history exams won't be much of the issues, but I don't think I'll do well in theory or science parts. I always fall asleep in those courses…more so than usual."

"And to think you were so attentive in Prof. Port's class at the beginning of the year," Weiss said in a teasing voice.

"The guy is awesome and so is his mustache, but his lectures are so boring that I can barely stay awake," The ninja whined.

"Are you going to get help, or are you going to try this on your own like you use to when you were going to Salvation?" Weiss asked with an eyebrow raised.

"I've already talked to Ruby and Jaune about this," Baltazar smiled, "The three of us are going to have week-long study sessions from next Monday to exam week. You and the others are invited to join us, but only if you guys want to."

"I might pop in every now and again, just to make sure you three are actually studying," Weiss smirked. "You three do make a great team of leaders, but Jaune's clueless about half of what's covered in our studies, Ruby rarely pays attention in classes that are not about weapons or history, and you sleep in class so much it's a miracle that you're doing so well."

"Eh, we'll manage," Baltazar shrugged, "Speaking of which, I wonder how Ruby is doing…or the others for that matter."

-Back with the spies on the roof-

Everyone on the roof was speechless by what they just saw. Their lightning ninja friend had managed to single handedly take out two thugs with ease, one while reading a book no less, and made it look like he was playing with them as he did so.

Yang began to clap slowly, a big grin on her face, "That…was…awesome. Best rendition of 'The Three Shinobi Skills' yet."

"You mean he's done this before?" Ren asked, hoping to get an answer.

"Oh yeah, dozens of times," Ruby nodded. "Although this is only the second time he's done it with that 'Thousand Years of Death' thing. He usually only does that when he really wants to humiliate someone."

"That is one awesome skill though!" Ash exclaimed. "Do you think he can teach me that move?"

*POW*

"Not on your life, you fiend," Blake glared as she held her fist up in front of her.

"Dammit, why is it always my head?" Ash wined as he clutched the back of his head.

"Because your semblance doesn't offer much protection to your head. You told us that a while back, remember?" Dia shrugged.

"Sorry, Ash, but you're not allowed to learn the skill," Levy shook her head, "The 'Thousand Years of Death' technique is a sacred move that's only taught by citizens of Forjador City who are planning to become hunters. And even then, you can only be taught in Forjador City by a fully certified hunter, active or retired. So chances of you learning it as are impossible, sorry."

"…Are you implying that you know that ridiculous move, too?" Ren asked with wide eyes.

"I wasn't implying," Levy said innocently as she formed her hands and fingers in a familiar form, and everyone could've sworn that violet sparks were coming out of her bracelets and ran through her hands. "Mama taught me how to do it a couple years ago. Do you want a demonstration?"

"No thank you!" Blake shouted as she jumped away from the innocent looking medic, covering her behind as she did so.

"…I just realized that, with her position and training in the medical field, Levy's actually qualified to do that skill without anyone questioning her," Dia mused.

"Being a doctor gives you permission to poke people in the butt without anyone getting in your way?" Nora asked.

"…" Everyone stared at each other for a moment before turning to Levy, who simply stared back at them with a confused expression.

"What?" The medic questioned.

"Nothing," Everyone said and looked away from her.

"Weird," Levy muttered to herself as she set her sights back to her cousin and childhood friend.

-With Weiss and Baltazar, evening, school grounds-

"Well that was a fun day, don't you think?" Baltazar asked with a cone of vanilla ice cream in his hand.

"I can't argue with that," Weiss smiled as she licked a bit of her strawberry cone, "And I also can't believe you actually stole money from the thugs we took down to buy our ice cream."

"We ninjas are a lot of things, including thieves," Baltazar explained with a smirk as he took a small bite of strawberry ice cream. "You of all people show know that."

Weiss blinked a couple times before she realized that her boyfriend stole her ice cream and was eating it in front of her. Reacting quickly, she swiped her cone back and gave the ninja a quick jab to the shoulder, who simply snickered and gave her an apologetic smile.

"Sorry. Couldn't resist," The ninja laughed sheepishly.

"You're such a dolt," Weiss shook her head, "But you're my dolt. And I'm not going to let you go."

"And you're a jerk sometimes," Baltazar countered teasingly, "But you're my jerk. And I'm not letting go of you either."

The pair laughed together and gave each other a short, yet meaningful kiss, happy that their date had gone so well, when they heard someone call out to them.

"Hey you guys! Having fun on your date?" Yang grinned as she and the others walked up to them, the fedoras that they had hidden in their rooms as soon as they returned to Beacon.

"Yup, it sure did," Weiss nodded before noticing her leader's depressed state. "What happened to Ruby?"

"Oh nothing," Yang waved off with her grin still on her face, "She just recorded something she wasn't supposed to by accident. It's nothing big."

"Really? Cause she's acting like she committed a crime, like pirating a movie or something," Weiss's comment caused everyone to flinch slightly, but the pair didn't notice, "Come to think of it, I think I saw a few pirates while we were at the movies. I hope they get caught."

"Are you talking about the guys behind us that were trying to record the movie on their Scrolls, or that band of costume wearing weirdoes with the pirate theme in the front row?" Baltazar asked, making his friends sweat-drop, "I still want to know what was up with those guys. I think I've seen them before when I took Sarah to see a movie about a cartoon sponge a while back, too."

"So there were pirates in that movie theater," Nora whispered before Blake nudged her in the ribs.

"Eh, who knows?" Weiss shrugged, "So are you guys heading to the cafeteria too?"

"Yeah. We were getting kinda hungry so we decided to go and get some food," Ash explained as he rubbed the back of his head, wincing a little as he did so.

"Hey Ash, are you ok?" Baltazar asked in a concerned tone, "I know that Dia hit you on the head pretty hard yesterday, but I didn't think that the pain would've lasted until the next day.

"Ah, don't worry about it, dude," Ash smiled as he waved off the concern his friend had on him. "I'll be fine."

"Ok…if you're sure," Baltazar shrugged. "Well, it's getting close to dinner right now, so we should get going."

"Yeah. I'm starting to get a little hungry myself," Weiss admitted.

"Well then, get going," Dia grinned as she gestured her friends to leave, "You guys have been out since lunch and I doubt you had anything filling in the movies. Go on and get some food. We'll join up later."

"Ok guys, if you're sure," Weiss said in a confused tone.

"We'll see you guys later then," Baltazar waved as the pair began to leave, causing the others to sigh in relief.

"Oh! And one more thing, guys!" Baltazar called out over his shoulder with a smirk. "Next time you want to spy on us, don't use our necklaces as listening devices."

"We worked hard on making them for each other, and we really appreciate it if you all didn't mess with them next time," Weiss turned back and smirked as well.

The pair shared a smile with one another as they left. The small group of spies, however, were speechless because of what they just heard.

"…They knew." Ash muttered.

"How did they know?" Ruby questioned, "I was being really sneaky when I put those listening recorders into their necklaces! I used the stealth techniques I learned and everything!"

"Did you forget who taught you those stealth skills, Sis?" Yang asked, causing her sister's eyes to go wide in realization.

"You used your stealth training on the guy who trained you in the first place and one of only two or three people in our class, besides you, who are very familiar with his stealth techniques," Blake explained.

"Are we in trouble?" Nora asked with a slight tone of fear in her voice.

"Maybe," Ren said unsurely.

"Well…let's go and face the music," Ash muttered in defeat.

"Maybe they'll go easy on us?" Dia asked hopefully.

"With Weiss? I doubt it," Levy sighed, "At least Pyrrha and Jaune still have no idea about us spying on their first date."

"You guys did what?!"

Everyone flinched and turned around to see Jaune and Pyrrha staring at them with expressions of shock, surprise and mild betrayal on their faces. As soon as they saw the pair, the spy group only had one thought in their mind.

"Ah crap…"

-Epilogue: Team RWBY's Room-

"So you knew we were following you guys the whole time?" Ruby asked from her position on her suspended bed, her entire team in their sleep wear.

"That's right," Weiss nodded as she brushed her hair. "You should've let Blake handle the sneaking, Ruby. She's the stealth expert in our team."

"But I don't know as much about technology compared to Ruby. She was the logical choice," Blake explained, "Besides, she called dibs."

"I see," Weiss said slowly as she stared at her teammates emotionlessly.

"Uh…Weiss?" Yang asked nervously, "What are you going to do to us?"

"Oh, nothing drastic," Weiss smiled, "I just want you girls to watch me play one of my favorite games."

"That's it?" Ruby questioned.

"That doesn't seem so bad," Blake muttered, but listened to the warning sounds in her head.

"Eh, why not," Yang shrugged, "What's the worst that could happen?"

-Team BLAD's room-

"So all we have to do to apologize is to make more of those stealth fedoras that Medic made for you guys and Jaune and Pyrrha?" Ash asked with a surprised look on his face.

"That's it," Baltazar nodded, "While it is true that you guys were spying on my first date, you guys did pretty well with the lack of stealth training. I can't fault you guys for doing something that I myself do for a living."

"Ninjas are spies?" Dia asked in confusion.

"Ninjas are everything and nothing at the same time," Baltazar smiled mysteriously, confusing his teammates a little.

"Uuh…ok," Levy agreed unsurely, "So what do you think Weiss is going to do to her team?"

"AAAHHH!"

Team BLAD, minus their leader, jumped from their beds and turned to the wall separating their room and RWBY's room, before rushing to the girls' room.

"And it begins," Baltazar smirked.

Team BLAD rushed into team RWBY's room and was surprised with what they saw. The room was dark, Yang and Ruby were hugging each other, sitting on the elder sister's bed and shivering in fright, Blake was hiding under her blanket, her head poking out of the covers, and Weiss was playing what looked like a ghost fighting game.

"…What?" The newcomers questioned, thoroughly confused.

"Oh! Hey guys!" Weiss smiled at her guests. "Do you want to watch?"

"What are you playing?" Dia asked unsurely.

"A ghost game called Mask of the Lunar Eclipse," Baltazar explained with a grin, sitting on Weiss's bed with a bowl of popcorn on his lap, "It's one of her favorite games. All sorts of jump scares and freaky things happen in this game. And you have to fight ghosts with old cameras and a flashlight. It's awesome!"

"Sparky!" Yang shouted in fright, "When the hell did you get in here?!"

"Right when the popcorn was finished," Baltazar answered with a snicker.

"That doesn't answer my question!" Yang exclaimed.

"Can you guys keep it down? I'm trying to get close to this person," Weiss said, not turning away from the TV screen.

"No! Don't touch her!" Blake shouted.

"Why does it have to be a ghost game?" Ruby whined as she held her sister tighter.

"So this is their punishment for spying on your date?" Ash asked.

"I let it slip that Yang and Ruby are not the biggest fan of ghosts or horror games, Weiss's favorite genre, but I had no idea that Blake was afraid of them as well," Baltazar explained with a shrug. "Speaking of which, you're book's back in the shelf. It was a good read."

"I'm a fan of dark themed stories, not dark themed games and movies, despite our profession," Blake whimpered, "And thanks for returning it to me."

"But primo, you don't like horror either," Levy pointed out.

"I don't, but this game is an exception," Baltazar said, "I've always liked games that had ghosts in them, even if they were scary at times."

"I think it was because of all those ghost hunting shows Uncle Bo made us watch when we were kids." Weiss shrugged as she noticed that the girl in white was slowly turning towards her character, when suddenly the face turned blurry and distorted and began attacking.

"AAH!" The sisters screamed and hugged each other tightly.

"Oh God!" Blake muttered, as she hid under the covers.

"Oh… Haven't seen that ghost in a while," Baltazar mused as he ate a bit of popcorn.

"Uh… I think we should leave now," Dia said in a frightened tone, with her teammates nodding rapidly in agreement.

"Ok guys. See you later tonight," Baltazar waved as his team left to their room. "Now this is a nice way to end a date."

"Watching me play a horror game with my team screaming for their lives while you sit back and eat popcorn on my bed is a nice way to end a date?" Weiss asked in amusement as she defeated the ghost.

"If you're worried that I'll make a mess on your bed, then relax. I'll clean up when I'm finished," Baltazar assured as he gestured his girlfriend to continue playing.

"H-How long are we supposed to watch this game?" Ruby asked.

"Until I finish the game," Weiss answered calmly.

"And knowing how much of a completionist you are, that might take a while," Baltazar mused. "Not to mention midterm exams are coming up soon, so it's going to take some time for you to finish it."

"Oh dear lord," Blake whimpered as she poked her head out of her covers, "You're going to force us to watch you play this every chance you get, aren't you?"

"Yes," Weiss nodded, "And there are a lot of secrets and extra scares that I want to find. Not to mention I have to take pictures of all of the special dolls in the island."

"Not the dolls!" Yang screamed, "Those things are creepy! Especially those eyes!"

"Yeah, well get used to it. It's a long game and I just barely started," Weiss smirked as she and the others turned back to the screen, when Weiss's character started looking at a mirror nearby and suddenly her face became just like the ghost she just fought for a brief moment.

"Oh crap, what happened to her?!" Yang questioned in fear.

"Is your character a ghost too?" Ruby cried.

"I will have never-ending nightmares when this is all over," Blake muttered as she hid under her blanket again.

"Like I said," Baltazar smiled as he turned his attention back to his girlfriend and the game she was playing, "Best way to end a date."

Author's notes:

Ok, this is one of the longest one-shots that I have ever written. It's even longer than half of my chapters of BLAD of RWBY and JNPR at this point, but I don't care. . I was hoping to get this uploaded a couple days ago, on my birthday, but I got distracted by showing my friend a let's play of Fatal Frame 4, which he enjoyed. It was actually his idea to make Yang afraid of ghosts towards the end of this story, and I went along with it. Now with this done, I'll begin working on the next chapter of BLAD of RWBY and JNPR. Here's hoping that I don't have to split it into multiple parts like had to do with the original chapter 6. Can you guys imagine how long you guys had to read if I left chapters 6, 7, and 8, as a single piece of work? Also, MFC stands for Mistral Fried Chicken, my rendition of the RWBY world's KFC.

Bye everyone, stay safe, get excited for the next season of RWBY, and see you all soon in The BLAD of RWBY and JNPR chapter 9: Maiden's Midterm Mission!
