I don't own the characters from Victorious. If I did once again we all know how awesome it would turn out ;)

Recollection of Memories Chapter 5

The uphill was quite gradual, but pleasant. Even in the heat, the pair walked swiftly and comfortably. Both, however, were sweating and their feet felt sore. They didn't complain though and kept walking. They didn't speak, but only because of the lack of discussion material. They acted like they were professional hikers but it was all an act. They were quite tired and exhausted from all the walking.

They stopped at one point, the sun high overhead, and ate fruit that they had gathered, as well as water from the river. Still, there was no talking. There seems to be an unspoken understanding between the both of them simply because they didn't want to get on each others nerves. If they started to annoy each other being the only people on the island thing would get very dismal quickly.

"Shouldn't be too much further and…"

"And what? I don't think were going to find anything we haven't already seen on this island, Trina. I just don't." Cat was very irritated and tired as she slowly grew even more impatient then she was. Finding a location that would work for them to stay for the night wasn't helping matters.

Trina then nods a little. "I understand you really Cat, but we have to keep trying. Even if it's only to look for things that will make…our lives easier here from now on." But no, she refused to give in. Not yet. Trina felt they should keep searching the island completely until finally they decide there was no other choice. "Let's keep going."

Cat stands, refusing the offer of Trina's hand, then brushes herself off frowning. "I don't care where it is right now, I just want to be home." She then shakes herself out of her self pity, and gives herself a determine look not to let herself get down. Nodding to herself she looks down toward Trina who continues walking in front of her, and then quietly to herself says, "I won't let myself get down." She looks in the direction they are heading and very quietly to herself says, "Yet."

It got to be a very boring Jungle. There was so much to see, but Cat and Trina did not care. More than once, they had seen monkeys swinging in the tallest of trees. Bright colored birds called out, but such wildlife did not interest them. Beautiful flowers in every color of the rainbow decorated the jungle, but still, their eyes rest on the sights for moments before back to what lay ahead.

They were also both alert for the appearance of any more of those wild dogs. Even if they didn't show themselves in the daylight hours, there was still night, and Trina and Cat had no shelter at the moment. They knew the dogs would return.

Cat was getting tired. Not Physically tired, but just...run down. A combination of everything just made her want to lay down and relax and forget about their troubles. Even if it was only a little while, she was really starting to drag her feet over it. Cat looks up and watches Trina move through some more trees and out of her sight. She then sighs. No, things were not working out and that scared her more than anything at that moment. She should not be so Pessimistic about it all. The two needed to be able to conquer anything they should come across, so that way they could get off the island.

The sounds of the jungle all around seems to mock her. Birds squawking, monkey hooting, leaves rustling, water rushing...

"Cat!" Trina yells for her and shaking her from her deep thoughts. Cat immediately sprints ahead, wondering what could be wrong. Damn, she had let her get really far ahead of herself. Why didn't she just wait...

As she rushes through the trees her feet slips out from underneath her on wet grass. Cat ends up on her ass, grunting from slight pain she opens her eyes to see feet in front of her, then glances up to see Trina grinning madly at her. At first she wanted to smack her because she thought she was laughing at her, but then she could not help but grin in return. Why, she wasn't entirely sure, but what was ahead of them was a pleasant discovery.

Towering above them, water gushes over a cliff and thunders down into the small lake that seemed to drain off to form the river they were following. Cat was immediately on her feet and starting to test the water with her right foot. She shivers happily, then turns to Trina smiling, "Its nice and cool."

Before Trina could respond her eyes got wide and her face turns bright red as Cat starts to shed her shirt. Cat stops for a moment and looks up at her, eyebrows raising, "Do you mind turning around?"

Trina then nods slowly and turns around with her face still red. She listens to the rustle of clothing and was first hit in the head by her shirt. Then her pants fluttered over her and rested on her shoulders. All Trina heard after that was a splash.

At that moment Cat speaks up, "Hey. It's safe to turn around now."

Trina turns slowly and her blush kicks back in at full force when she sees Cat's breasts slightly visible above the water. "Come on in, feels great!" Cat yells at her, splashing some water in her direction.

Trina shakes her head very embarrassed, "Um, I don't think I could."

"Come on Trina. You don't know what you are missing. The water feels nice. It feels good and you may feel slightly clean for a bit."

Trina once again shakes her head, "I really shouldn't. Tell you what Cat, I'll just wait until your done then I'll take a swim."

Cat couldn't help but laugh. " You are standing there with my pants over your head and want to be all shy? No one is going to get upset trust me. Come on in. " She splashes water at her getting her attention, "Let's go."

Trina cheeks if possible turn even a brighter red color, but finally just nods and gives in. While she starts slipping off her own clothing, she stops and says, "If you don't mind returning the favor..." She gestures for Cat to turn around with her left hand. Cat just rolls her eyes but starts to swim to the opposite bank, giving Trina a rather surprising glimpse of her naked rear.

Staring wide-eyed for a moment, she quickly averts her eyes and begins to remove her own clothes. She then carefully folds Cat's clothes and her own after she finishes removing them. She sets the clothes on a rock then carefully steps up to the lake. Nervously she slowly slips her toe into the water to test it. Then takes the moment to enter the water, and notices Cat already reached the bank and was beginning to turn around.

When Trina notices this she panics and makes small yelp diving deeper into the water so Cat couldn't get a good look at her. Trina didn't really think about how hot and sweaty she was while they were walking. Now she realized how bad she herself needed this.

She broke the surface of the water and smiles. "Yeah, you're right Cat. This is definitely nice."

"See told you. You should learn to listen to me, " Cat responds, as she swims in a lazy circle around Trina.

Trina briefly ducks under the water and comes back up, spitting out a mouthful, "Yeah, its starting to look that way."

She smiles at her, broad and cocky. "You will get there." She swims away from her toward the waterfall, giving Trina another water distorted view of her body.

"Really? Are you...doing that on purpose?" She asks, feeling a little light headed.

"Doing what?" Cat calls back, her voice drowns out from the noise of the water.

Trina watches her swim away and shakes her head smiling. Cat swam to the waterfall, churning water as it carries her to the river. Arms out, she closes her eyes and relaxes, feeling almost relaxed since she had arrived on this island.

"Don't let yourself go too far or you will be down the river before you know it."

Rolling over in the water, Cat began to swim back toward the waterfall."I'm not going anywhere. This feels great. " She notices, but didn't mention the glances Trina was throwing her way as the water teasingly revealed her bare flesh.

She wasn't stupid. She knew her chest was definitely very developed compared to Trina's. She wasn't ashamed of her chest or curves, but she kind of like the attention she was getting from her. At that point she starts to rise a little bit more out of the water, watching Trina's eyes widen, when she suddenly sank back down. Laughing in the inside, Nah, it wasn't worth it. That didn't mean she couldn't appraise her though.

That line of thought made her blush for some unknown reason. She didn't know why she is acting like this, for some reason it felt right, almost natural, but also it felt wrong. But still, Cat for once became the shy one, and scans Trina's perky and smaller breast compared to her own, and then back up to her tanned beautiful cheek bones. Yeah, she was a very nice looking girl.

"Cat, are you..." Trina couldn't bring herself to finish the sentence. It was far too embarrassing for her to ask.

"Am I what?"

"Nothing. Never mind, it's nothing." She turns quickly and looks at the waterfall. "Very impressive waterfall, right?"

Cat watches her suspiciously and nods slowly, "Yeah, it is. I wonder how high it is. What do you think?"

Trina shrugs for a moment, shading her eyes from the sun, "Not sure, hmm could be 20 or 30 feet. High enough to hurt if you had to jump that's for sure."

Cat suddenly splashes her and laughs. "You are so serious, why don't you learn to have a little fun and relax. At least for now anyway."

Trina then turns toward her blinking the water out of her eyes. Her gaze narrows in false menace, "Serious? You think I'm serious?"

"Yep, " Cat says, slowly backing away. "Why? You've got a problem with that?"

Trina's eyes look elsewhere for a moment, "Well," she answers slowly, " Not really." She lunges at Cat, causing a sizable rush of water, but quickly twists out of the way, Trina's out streched hands barely grazing Cat's back.

Cat makes a noise somewhere between a laugh and a squeal of delight and tries to swim away from her. But she begins to laugh harder and was starting to get water in her mouth. In truth she was seconds from choking.

Trina cuts through the water, completely submerging, and grabs onto one of Cat's thrashing legs. She somehow was moving quicker than she thought though and her hand slide up Cat's sides.
Cat's whole body froze at the foreign touch, which only made it worse as one of Trina's hands slides over her left breast. Her eyes and mouth were both wide with surprise, then her face shifts into an outrage.

Trina feeling the ...what she thought was suppose to be Cat's leg, turned to be something else. She quickly lets go and quickly gets her head above water, ready to apologize. "I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to …"

Cat screams in anger, and slaps Trina across her cheek. She then swam away quickly toward one shore, then altered her path and swam beneath the waterfall.

Trina face had a huge red hand print across her right cheek and felt sick and felt horrible. She certainly did not plan that. She was only being playful and had accidentally done something unexpected. Sighing to herself, she swam back to shore and sat in the water, starting where Cat had disappeared under water.

Cat sat in the little alcove behind the waterfall frowning. She was actually upset. Trina grabbed her breast, and she really didn't mind it. She was having a fine enough time before that, but she ruined the mood...now Trina is making her think about her sexuality. Am I gay? She didn't know what to think.

She stops herself. There hadn't really been any sort of mood. She had just let things gone a little too far is all. It was only an accident anyway, she felt was over-thinking things. But still it had been a bit...

Her thoughts were interrupted by a break in the water as Trina came through the powerful falls. Cat quickly took the moment to cover herself as best as she could, still frowning.

Seeing her frown, Trina looks down in the water swirling around her waist, partly embarrassed in seeing Cat naked form. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to do that. It was rude."

Cat snarled at her, "You 're fucking right it was! " Cat sighs turning away, "Could you just leave me alone for a while?"

Trina's face looks even more horrible and her eyes tear up some but she nods, exiting back through the water.

Cat rests her elbow on her knee and puts her chin in her hand. The look on her face was still upset.

Trina swam back and forth through the lake, swimming around at least ten times . Each time she mentally kicked her self for being careless. It was so stupid to be that playful. What did she expect when they were both strangers to each other and naked. Maybe she got too much into the playfulness. A stupid accident indeed. It was harmless. She didn't like this girl, she barely knew her, right?

Trina couldn't stay like this. She needs to resolve this between the two of them. She swam back to the waterfall, breaking through he wall of the water, expecting her to be sitting there and glaring at her. But she wasn't there. She saw her pale shape in the darkness, lying in the cool sand. She appears to be asleep. Well, they had been in the water swimming for a while. She herself was pretty beat herself.

Approaching Cat slowly, she stops so she was still concealed from the waist down in the water. "Cat?" she asks quietly. She could see her side moving as she breathes, but other than that, she didn't stir.

Taking a chance to leave the water, Trina approaches Cat's motionless form. "Cat?" she asks again. It was difficult because at the same time she didn't want her to respond, and she did want her to respond. If she was awake and turns to look at her well...her face was turning red already from embarrassment and fear for some reason.

Still Cat didn't' respond. Getting a little more bolder with sudden concern, she kneels down next to her and looks over her shoulder at her face. Ignoring the shapeliness of her body, she puts her hand on her arm. She was still warm at least. And when she actually sees her face, she was indeed sleeping peacefully.

Somehow, Cat managed to cover herself while she slept, although Trina felt like she was being teased for some reason. Trina eyes were wandering too long and as she realizes she was staring at the swell of Cat's bosom, Trina jerks her hand from Cat's arm and tears her eyes away. If she needs to sleep, then she should probably sleep. Trina heads back into the water, planning on sunbathing a little to dry off. It might have been wiser to wait for Cat, but she didn't think she would take it well if she found her staring at her naked body. It was impossible also to get the clothes in under the waterfall without them getting soaked.

As Trina enters the water, Cat opens one eye slowly and turns her head, watching Trina walk away, almost clinically. She closely observes the way the the way Trina's own curving body moves and flexes as she slips under the lake bottom. Maybe her back or the way the water falls and drips on her own chest and smooth skin. Maybe there were other things she notices, but this little peeping session would remain her secret.

Only after Trina's figure leaves completely did she finally sits up slowly. Trina certainly was an object she wouldn't mind staring at. Her curves and figure and nicely shaped abs made her feel something she wasn't sure she ever felt before. But something was holding her back, some little instinct that stops her from exploring these feelings within her.

She didn't know why, but she felt frustrated and confused. Cat stood up in the sand and shivered some. Sighing she realizes whether she was mad at Trina or upset with herself, being with another person in the sun was sounding comforting.

Plunging into the water under the falls, she swam directly for the shore and her clothing. The sun sparkled magnificently off the water, making the lake look like it has been sprinkled with gold dust. Pausing to admire the coloring, Cat drifts slowly until her feet were able to touch bottom, then she starts to make her way to shore purposefully.

She smiles a little when she sees Trina asleep in the sand, covered in her shirt. "Hey Trina." she calls, waking her. Trina slowly sits up, scratching the side of her head and yawns, she then looks at Cat in the water and fear returns immediately. She waves hesitantly.

"Good morning, Princess, " She smiles, "Truce again?" she offers the Latina.

Trina lets a small smile form, "I'm sorry it got out of hand. Its my fault really."

Cat shrugs, "It was an honest mistake. Right?"

"Yes! I don't even swing that way, I mean I would never, never..."

Cat's smile quickly vanishes at her response, feeling of disappointment emerging in her. "All right, I believe you. Besides, isn't it just too great right now to be upset? I mean look at the lake we found. Its really nice and beautiful. The way the sun is setting and the rays are..." Cat ground to a halt and stares blankly at Trina.

"I'm sorry. What's wrong? The rays are what?"

"The sun," she replies numbly. "The sun."

Trina tries to get a look at the position of the sun through the trees. "What about the sun?"

"It's setting , Trina. The sun is fucking setting!"

"So?" Trina wasn't too thrilled at Cat's choice of foul language.

"The sun is setting and we are just standing here!" She suddenly shouted at her.
Trina blinks, confused for a second. "I don't...Night." Trina finally grasp and understands what Cat is saying. She stood up quickly, ignoring Cat's presence as she starts to put her clothes on. "Come on Cat, get dressed. We have to find some place..."

Cat was already hurrying out of the water, kicking up water everywhere until she was standing on the narrow beach. She grabs her clothes and throws them on, not bothering with her modesty. Survival was a hell of a lot more important than whether Trina saw her boobs or not.

"Where should we go?" Trina asks, finally completely dressed. "We don't have time to build any sort of shelter..."

"I got it! Maybe we..." Cat looks around, somewhat desperate. Cat slaps Trina's arm. "Behind the waterfall. I don't think the dogs can get back there. Or they won't know we are there."

Trina looks a little hesitant and her eyes worriedly scans the jungle, shaking her head a little. "What about..."

"Do you want to worry about breakfast or do you want to survive?" Cat took a hold of Trina's tattered shirt and was yanking on it.

"I guess if we don't have any choice."

Cat pulls on her shirt a bit and makes her move, "We don't. Lets grab some fruit before it gets too late."

So what did ya'll think? I hope to get more reviews this time. Until next time.
