"I swear they changed the entire layout of this campus since the last time that I was here..." Cassandra grumbled as she curiously looked around the Whitmore campus. She had driven up the college with Damon because they had the brilliant plan to bring Bonnie back to life with Silas's help. It would be risky, but they needed to have Bonnie back in their lives. Everyone was suffering from not having her around and if it was possible to bring her back, they would do it.

"So, as we know, in a psychotic lapse of judgment, Bonnie brought you back to life and died in the process." Damon announced as he paced around the living room of the boarding house. Cassandra sat curled up on the couch while Jeremy was in one of the big armchairs. "May she rest in peace,"headded, gesturing to an empty space in front of him.

"She's actually right over there." Jeremy pointed behind him and no one could see it, but Bonnie waved from a chair opposite him.

Cassandra looked around as if trying to see the witch, but she waved back. "Hey Bon." The witch smiled warmly.

Damon looked behind him, following Jeremy's gaze, but he couldn't see Bonnie, so he gave a shrug. "Whatever. Look, the whole point is, I just happen to know a supernatural being who just happens to want to die, and in the spirit of nature needing balance and life for a life and all that stuff, I just think it would be a huge waste of a perfectly good death."

"What are you talking about?" Jeremy asked.

"Something Elena doesn't need to know about until it works." Cassandra spoke.

"Wait. You two want to work with Silas?"

"From the very beginning, Silas' whole plan was to kill himself, pass on, and reunite with his one true love, Amara." The hybrid said.

"I want to use his death to bring Bonnie back to life." Damon added.

Jeremy's look was pensive. "I'm not sure I'm following."

"To die, he has to be mortal. If he's mortal, then he's a witch, and if he dies as a witch then he's stuck on the Other Side forever." Cassandra said.

"He already tried to bring down the veil to the Other Side. He failed." The teen shook his head.

"Maybe he has a plan B. Maybe he wants to do more than just drop the veil and let all the ghosts out." Bonnie chimed in and the couple could see that Jeremy was focusing on someone that they couldn't see.

"She knows we can't hear her, right?" Damon asked aloud.

"She thinks Silas wants to destroy the Other Side completely." He spoke for Bonnie.

"Powerful spells are bound by something even more powerful-the moon, a comet, a doppelganger. The Other Side was made 2,000 years ago, and it still exists. That means she must have bound it to something that could exist just as long." The witch added.

"Back to my original question. Let's say Silas destroys the Other Side, cures himself, becomes a witch. Is it supernaturally possible that he can do a spell that swaps her life for his life once he-pfft-kills himself?" Damon posed and Bonnie thought about it for a few moments.

"Supernaturally, yeah, it's possible, but this is the same Silas who murdered my father. He's ruthless, and whatever spell he could do, there'll be some consequences. There always is. So no. My answer is, definitely not." She could hardly fathom the very thought of Silas being so willing to bring her back to life out of the goodness of his heart.

Damon and Cassandra looked between Jeremy and the empty space in which Bonnie sat, eager to hear her answer. "What'd she say? Tell me?" The vampire asked.

Jeremy had fallen silent, considering Bonnie's warning about consequences, but this was the closest that they've been to bringing Bonnie back. It was so close that he could taste it. He loved her and he missed her too much to let this opportunity go by. "She's in!"

"What?!" Bonnie growled, but Damon and Cassandra were already rejoicing that they could now move forward with their plan.

The conversation from the morning faded and the gossiping of college kids all around her filled the void. Students were lounging carelessly on the fresh, green grass with books in their laps and even a few strummed their acoustic guitars, the gentle chords filled the air. Cassandra thought to herself, she missed being with the younger crowd and she really did like teaching them. It kept her young, or at least, it made her feel young and not almost 200 years old. College students were just on the brink of entering adulthood, like a bird learning to fly from the nest on its own. Some could do it on their own while others needed a little push from their professors. They had their whole lives ahead of them to look forward to and it was refreshing for Cassandra to see people who wanted to change the world for the better. Shaking herself from her philosophical thinking, she trekked onward, thumbing through the campus map when she clumsily knocked into someone. He was a tall gentleman with short, sandy blonde hair. He wore a white lab coat and carried a thick binder, so Cassandra figured that he must be a professor or an assistant to one. She would be lying to say that he wasn't handsome because he certainly was. She was sure that plenty of girls on campus swooned over this mystery man. Some of his papers fell to the floor and she immediately bent down to help gather them.

"I am so sorry," She apologized and grasped some flyaway papers. Her eyes happened to zero in on the name neatly typed in the heading and she hummed to herself.

Dr. Maxfield

"It's alright. Freshman normally don't look where they are going anyway." It was clearly a rude remark, but Cassandra chose for it to roll off her back.

"Oh, I'm not a freshman. I graduated a while ago. I'm actually visiting." She said and his gaze met hers.

"Visiting?" Cassandra nodded simply and handed him back his papers. "For someone who supposedly graduated a while ago, you like you should be in college."

"And I'll take that as a compliment." She stuck out her hand for him to shake. "My name is Cassandra and it's nice to meet you, Dr. Maxfield."

The professor looked strangely at her, but shook her hand to be polite. "How do you know my name?"

"Well, some friends of mine are students in your class. Blonde, about yay-high, gorgeous. And the other is a brunette with pink streaks in her hair and a pretty smile." She described her friends and Dr. Maxfield nodded knowingly.

"Ah, yes. Caroline Forbes and Elena Gilbert. That reminds me, is Elena back to classes yet? I remember that she had to leave because of a-"

"Family emergency." She finished for him and sighed sadly. "She's been taking it really hard. The poor thing. I don't know what else to do for her, but I told her to come back to school to help take her mind off of it."

"I see. And who are you in relation to Elena?" He asked.

Cassandra gave the professor a playful smirk. "You certainly ask a lot of questions on a first meeting, professor. Scared I'll corrupt her young mind? Thankfully that remark about corrupting her mind made Dr. Maxfield chuckle, chipping away at his hard exterior. "I'm a family friend."

"I apologize, I just don't remember Grayson mentioning you."

"I unfortunately never knew Grayson. I heard he was a brilliant man." She revered and her phone buzzed from inside her purse. Elena had texted her asking where she was. "I apologize for keeping you, but I've gotta run. It was nice meeting you."

As she moved to leave, Dr. Maxfield's voice caught her attention. "Will you be on campus all day?"

"Maybe." She called back to him.

"There's a Historical Ball tonight. Costume only." He said.

"You're in luck because I love history and costumes." Cassandra grinned.

A ten minute stroll across campus led her to the dorms where she then had to walk up five flights of stairs. She cursed herself for wearing heels and her feet were screaming by the time she reached Caroline's and Elena's room. Once inside, she greeted the girls and Tyler, who she was mildly surprised that he had settled into classes so quickly, but it was nice to have him back. It would be a good distraction for Caroline, however Elena was left to be the awkward third wheel.

"Man, that professor of yours has a stick up his ass." Cassandra munched on some food that she grabbed from the cafeteria.

"I like him." Caroline spoke from her bed and three sets of eyes were trained on her. "What? He's nice once you get to know him."

"He was grilling me before." She said. "And asking how I knew Elena."

"Maybe he likes you." The blonde joked.

"Well, Dr. Maxfield will have to accept the fact that I am happily married." The female hybrid wiggled her ring finger.

"And knocked up. You can't forget knocked up." Tyler laughed and Cassandra launched a pillow at him.

"I'm sure that Caroline has filled you in on the 'my baby will bring my death' story?" She asked and Tyler nodded solemnly.

"I wouldn't listen to Qetsiyah." He told her. "Two thousand years on the Other side probably made her a little crazy."

"A little? That woman is a loony tune." Cassandra grumbled. "Oh, by the way, Damon and I have to get costumes for tonight. Professor Creepy invited us to the Historical Ball."

"Oh, he has it bad for you." Caroline smirked and Cassandra rolled her eyes.

"Who are you going as, Elena?"

The vampire's doe eyes finally snapped up the entire time her friends had been talking and she looked lost. Bonnie's death had taken a really hard toll on her and as much as she wanted to be home, she knew that she had to come back to school. She felt guilty that she had spent the whole summer enjoying herself meanwhile Bonnie was lying dead somewhere.

"Hmm? Oh, uhm, I don't think I'm gonna go to that." She scrunched up her nose.

"Why not? You can't just mope around in your room." Caroline whined. "Please? It'll be fun. I'll even help you pick out a costume."

Elena gave Caroline a small smile and nodded. "Alright. Fine." She hated whenever her friend was right.

"Does this dress make me look fat?" Cassandra's daunting voice reached her husband's ears and she stood in the doorway of Tyler's single room. He was kind enough to let them borrow it to change in. She was dressed in a champagne colored fifteen hundred style gown with gold accents along the tight bodice and long flowing sleeves. The floor length over skirt was a darker shade of champagne while the underskirt was an off-white, almost cream color. Her hair was down, her long, luscious curls draping over her shoulders and toward the front of her head, pieces of her hair was braided, making a woven headband of hair. Her skin was glowing and natural colors lined her big eyes which were framed by dark full lashes that were coated in mascara. She looked like a queen ready to take her throne; however, the expression on her face looked discouraged, as if unaware of how beautiful she actually looked.

"What? No, what are you talking about?" Damon looked strangely at her. "You look beautiful."

Cassandra let out a breath and examined her reflection in the mirror again. She would have thrown up at the sight that was staring back at her but she didn't want to ruin her costume. She then proceeded to look at herself from every angle, scrutinizing every little detail. The dress didn't lay right no matter how many times she fixed and fussed with it. From the side view she could catch the smallest glimpse of a bump underneath the fabric. Her breasts were nearly spilling over the top and she tried to pack them into her lingerie set underneath but they were just so swollen. Her skin looked worn and tired while her hair was a complete rat's nest.

"Damon, are we looking in the same mirror?" She asked rhetorically. "I'm as big as a house!"

"Cass—"

"You know what? I didn't want to go to this party anyway." Cassandra then reached around her to pull at the ties holding it together, but Damon stopped her.

"Nah, ah, ah. You love dressing up and you sure as hell would never pass up a costume party." He tsked. "What gives?"

"Damon, I am bloated like you can't even imagine. I'm slowly expanding sideways and my boobs don't fit in anything. My hormones are off the wall and...and I look horrible." She rambled and side stepped him to look in the mirror once more.

Damon moseyed on to stand behind her and he placed his hands on her shoulders. "Do you know what I see when I look in that mirror?"

"A whale?" She deadpanned.

The vampire chuckled and rested his chin on her shoulder. His lips caressed the shell of her ear and she shivered lightly. "No. I see my beautiful wife and she looks just as beautiful now as the day I met her." A small smile pulled at the corners of her lips and Damon knew that he had her. "There's my girl."

"You're too good to me." She grinned and faced him.

"Mmm," He hummed and toyed with a lock of her hair. "And who are you dressed as?"

"Elizabeth Báthory." Cassandra had always been fascinated by her even though she had lived long before her time. She was mostly known for killing her handmaidens and bathing in their blood because she thought that it would keep her young. Elizabeth was said to have killed 650 before being put on trial and sentenced to house arrest for her serial killings.

"Ooh, the Blood Countess." He licked his lips at the thought of his wife bathing in blood. "Shall I fetch you a virgin to butcher?"

"Maybe later and maybe I'll share with you." She giggled. "Hmm, it's been so long since I've had virgin."

"They'll be some at the party tonight I'm sure." Damon assured her.

"If you find one, I will happily share." She wound a loose curl around her finger in an attempt to make it curlier. "And who, my darling, are you supposed to be?"

"Henry VIII." He replied.

Cassandra's eyes did a thorough up and down of his costume. He wore an ivory colored billowy shirt with black leather pants. Around his neck was a long necklace or neck piece of some sort, obviously something that a king would wear. "Hmm, I didn't know that kings wore leather."

"They do now." Damon smirked and stepped in closer to her, so they were chest to chest. "I was infamous for beheading my wives."

"Hmm, should I start running now?" Cassandra smirked and Damon kissed her soundly.

"Like you could get away." He murmured against her lips. Her arms wrapped around his neck, her fingers running over the neckpiece he wore.

"Fancy place." Cassandra murmured as she and Damon stepped into the ballroom where the party was being held. Costumed students and faculty mingled with one another like it was a reunion of sorts. It was interesting to see so many people in history from different time periods chatting with one another; it was almost comical. Marie Antoinette and Twiggy were sharing gossip and a drink while Benjamin Franklin was flirting with Marilyn Monroe. Caroline and Tyler were dressed as Bonnie and Clyde and they were whisking each other around on the dance floor, happy as can be. Elena was over by the buffet table, pulling off a very convincing Audrey Hepburn and she was talking with a young man there, someone who wasn't Stefan. Perhaps they needed their time apart too, or at least until Stefan got his memories back. Speaking of Stefan, he was cozied up to the bar, drinking his sorrows away dressed as James Dean. Cleopatra—Qetsiyah rather—was standing next to him and it was going to be time to put the plan in motion soon.

"Let's go." Cassandra began her walk toward the bar, but Damon took her hand, spinning her back to him. "What is it?"

"I wanna dance with you first." Her husband led her out onto the dance floor and held her close.

"Damon, we have to-" He placed a finger over her lips, effectively quieting her protests.

"It can wait for five minutes." Damon grinned and danced with her.

Her cheeks blushed and a smile tugged at her lips. "Someone's feeling romantic tonight."

"What? I need a reason to dance with my beautiful wife?" He raised an eyebrow. "You really do look beautiful. I don't know what you were fussing about before."

"Damon, my body is changing in all sorts of weird ways and it's going to take some getting used to, I guess." She shrugged. "Keep in mind that vamps aren't meant to procreate."

"I'm well aware." He noted and dipped her deeply. "But you're handling it well." His lips brushed up and down the column of her neck, sending shivers up her spine and the lowest of purrs to pass her lips. He slowly brought her back up and licked a long trail along her skin. "Not to mention you look sexy as hell. If we were alone, I'd-"

"Damon!" She scolded with a deep blush coloring her cheeks.

"What? I can't help it. I wish we didn't have to do this plan thingy that way I could take you home and make you mine."

Cassandra eased forward and kissed him tenderly, caressing his soft lips with her own. "I already am yours." They continued to dance, moving about the other couples on the floor and they even crossed paths with Tyler and Caroline a few times. It was nice to be close like this, wrapped in one another's embrace, escaping the world around them even if it was for a short moment. The music ended, much too hastily for their liking and they did one final curtsey and bow. Damon took her hand in his and kissed the back of it before leading them over to Stefan and Qetsiyah.

"The girl who wiped my memories." Stefan spoke to the witch.

Tessa shrugged as if talking about something much less important. "Nothing personal, little ex-boyfriend drama. Let me make it up to you. Buy you an "I'm sorry" drink?"

"More like an "I'm sorry" keg." Damon placed his hands on his brother's shoulders before hauling him away. Cassandra and Tessa exchanged pointed glares at one another and Cassandra followed her husband into a room where they were alone.

"You, my brother, make a terrible wingman." Stefan whined.

"Trust me, last guy to hit on her is still paying for it." Damon told him.

"You'll thank us later." Cassandra said.

Stefan looked between the duo. "So, what exactly, are we doing here?"

"Well..." His brother trailed off warily seeing that Silas had appeared behind his brother.

"Hello, me." He grinned and as Stefan turned to face him, Damon snapped his neck. Stefan's body dropped to the floor and Silas took off the leather jacket he'd been wearing.

"So you want to explain to me why I just killed my brother?" Damon asked him.

"Well, Tessa's spell mentally linked us. I lost my psychic abilities. Stefan lost his memories." Silas explained as he slipped the leather jacket up over his shoulders.

"And this severed the link?" Cassandra guessed.

"Yes, Cassandra. I can read your mind again. No. I'm not lying, and maybe you wanted to snap Stefan's neck a little more than you care to admit." He said and Cassandra knew that she had been found out. Stefan's crappy attitude was putting everyone in a bad mood and some days she wanted to break his neck just to shut him up.

"He's good." She nodded.

"I'll cozy up to the witch and sift through her mind, figure out where she's hiding the anchor, and you, all you got to do is keep him dead." Silas pointed to Stefan's body.

"Isn't Tess going to be slightly suspicious when the man whose brain she just fried is all of a sudden showing interest in her?" The vampire wondered.

"Of all the men here, Tessa went straight for Stefan. This face won her heart before. See, a woman never forgets her first love, no matter how badly it ended." And with that, Silas left the room and Damon hauled his brother off the floor and plopped him on one of the couches.

"I guess we'll take turns snapping his neck? If you wouldn't mind, I'd like to release some pent up anger." Cassandra crossed her arms over her chest.

"No, no, no." Damon tsked. "I can't have you in here if he suddenly decides to go off and attack me."

"So, what are you saying?" She raised an eyebrow at him.

"I'm saying that you need to go back in the main ballroom. We'll call less attention to ourselves if only one of us is missing." He told her.

"Damon, I am not leaving you with your brother who could easily snap your neck." She glowered.

"Well, I can't let you stay here where he could attack you. I'd rather have him sever my spinal cord than yours. We know that you're body will heal quickly, but we don't know what effect it will have on the baby." He took her hands in his. "And I don't know about you, but I don't want to take those risks. Just please go out there. I'll be fine." His blue eyes were soft and begging with her to not be difficult and listen to him.

Cassandra heaved a heavy sigh. "I hate it when you're right."

"I hate it when he's right." She cursed quietly to herself as she stood up against one of the walls. She did listen to Damon, but she was still close by to hear if in case anything did go wrong. Her brown eyes were trained on Silas and Tessa who were conversing and dancing when she felt a gentle tap on her shoulder.

"I didn't think you'd really show up." Dr. Maxfield grinned at her. He was dressed in a black suit jacket, black suit pants, and a black top hat. He could be dressed as anyone; maybe he wanted to blend into the crowd to draw less attention to himself?

Cassandra gave a little curtsey. "Well, I did tell you that I liked history and costume parties."

"And who are you supposed to be?" He looked over her costume, a bit bemused.

"I'm Elizabeth Báthory also known as the Blood Countess." She said and he shrugged his shoulders. "You mean you don't know her?"

"And that's why I teach bio." He said.

"She was responsible for the death of 650 girls and she would bathe in their blood because she thought that it would keep her young. Many think of her as one of the first vampires because she had such an interest in blood." As she explained this to him, the professor seemed just a tad bit more interested. When Cassandra said the word 'vampire' his ears practically perked up. "Interesting, don't you agree?"

"I don't get why today's youth are so enraptured with vampires. It seems very medieval to me." He stated, fiddling with his suit jacket.

"Well, the idea of staying young forever is certainly appealing." Cassandra grinned and he didn't answer her, he simply held out his hand, a silent off to ask her to dance. "I don't dance with anyone I don't know."

"Oh," Dr. Maxfield tipped his hat. "I'm Dr. Jekyll."

"Very nice." She smiled and took his hand. "So, where's Mr. Hyde?"

Dr. Maxfield twirled her into him. "I don't know. I am not responsible for my darker half."

"Hmm, well I'll have to let you know if he makes an appearance." She smirked and danced with him. "So, Dr., Elena was telling me that you kicked her out of class on the first day. That's not very nice of you."

"I'm not the kind of professor that allows for shenanigans in my class. It was for her own good." He spoke.

"That may be so, but lying on a student's death certificate certainly falls under the shenanigans category." She murmured quietly, so other dancing couples couldn't hear them.

His body visibly stiffened. "How do you know about that?"

"The walls have ears, professor. So, tell me, why did you lie?" Cassandra desperately wished that she could use compulsion, but she had to watch her step around him. If he knew about vampires and so did Megan, he would most definitely have vervain on him.

"Look. I didn't want to lie, but I couldn't exactly tell her parents a mountain lion attacked her at a frat party. I'd be fired." He told her. "Want to hear my theory?"

"Sure, it might even match mine."

"I think a vampire hunted her down, ripped her throat out, and threw her off that roof."

"For someone who doesn't understand why people are so fascinated in them, you sure sound like you know a lot about vampires." She tilted her head, sizing him up a little, but she was still treading carefully.

"Let me be blunt; take Elena home." His sudden change in tone and conversation caught her off guard and she distanced herself from him.

"Why? Is she in danger?" She asked worriedly.

Dr. Maxfield leaned in close, his lips were just by her ear. "There are people at this school who are watching her every move and are asking questions that you don't want them to ask. So, tell her to pack her things, drop out, and move back to Mystic Falls."

Cassandra moved back from him, so she could look him in the eye. "Tell me why. Who is watching her?"

"I'm not at liberty to say. I just don't want her getting in the middle of this." He said and Cassandra removed herself from his grasp.

"It seems to me that you know a lot more than you're letting on, Dr. Maxfield." She accused. "I should warn you, I don't like it when my friends are in danger."

"So, do exactly as I said. Take Elena home before she gets hurt." He quickly flitted away, leaving her speechless in the middle of the dance floor and her animosity for him only grew further.

After the party, the trio headed back to the boarding house with Damon dragging a dried up Silas through the foyer and into the living room. Stefan had managed to snap Damon's neck and by doing that, Tessa was able to find out that the Stefan impersonator was really Silas. She performed a spell on her former lover, practically drying him up and all that could be done was to take him home.

"So, Professor Blondie knows about vampires?" Damon inquired as he heaved Silas's body up onto the couch.

Elena and Cassandra nodded solemnly. "He said that if I don't drop out of school, the wrong people are gonna start asking the right questions."

"He told me the same thing." The hybrid added. "He definitely knows about vampires, but he's slick too. Told you I didn't like him."

"Ugh, that's not good." Damon fixed his wife a drink, a non alcoholic one and he poured a bourbon for himself.

"So, what are you gonna do?" Cassandra questioned the anxious teen.

"I don't know, but all I do know is that finding out the truth about Megan isn't gonna bring Bonnie back." She replied.

"Yeah. Well, neither is a desiccated Silas in our living room." Damon's nose wrinkled at the body.

"So, the only way for Silas to trade in his life for Bonnie's is if he's a witch, but the only way to become a witch is to have the cure." Elena assessed.

"Yep." Damon deadpanned. There was a knock at the door and Elena threw a curious glance to it and then the couple who looked as if they knew to be expecting someone.

"Now, who could that be?" He gave a big smile and handed Cassandra his drink who was smiling as well. She placed both glasses down and Elena looked to her for an answer, but she remained silent. As Damon opened the front door, Katherine slipped inside and sauntered to the living room.

"What's so urgent? I'm on the run. Don't exactly have time for a pit stop." She whined, but she caught a glimpse of Silas on the couch. A winning smirk painted her lips. "Or maybe I do. Maybe I have all the time in the world. Katherine Pierce eludes death yet again and you two," she passed a glance to Damon and Cassandra. "Finally did something right for once. How does it feel?"

Damon moved in closer to her and Katherine didn't notice it, but Cassandra was standing right behind her. "Thrilling." He smirked and Katherine suddenly felt how close both vampires were.

"Damon, no." She shifted uneasily and Damon grabbed her roughly by the shoulders.

"He needs the cure to become a witch." He told her before biting into her neck. The human Petrova screamed, struggling against him, but she was no match for his strength.

"Agh! No!" Damon let go of her neck and licked his lips.

"Would you like to do the honors, dear?" He shoved her into Cassandra who held her tightly.

"Don't mind if I do, my darling." She smirked

"No. No. No, please! He need all of my blood. It'll kill me, Cassandra!" She begged and for the slightest moment, the hybrid's face faltered as if she actually felt sorry for Katherine. That moment quickly disintegrated remembering all of the pain she caused her. Katherine killed her all those years ago, bringing grief to her family and to Damon. She remembered begging for her life when Katherine had come to kill her that night, but the vampire wouldn't even consider her plea, so why would Cassandra give her the same courtesy? "Cassandra, please, I don't want to die. I don't want to die. I don't want to die. Please."

Cassandra shook her head and led the simpering girl over to Silas. "Goodbye, Katherine." She fisted her hair and pushed her severed neck against Silas's mouth. It took some time, but Silas latched onto Katherine's neck and began drinking. Katherine wriggled around, but Cassandra's hand in her hair and Silas biting her neck left her little room to move. Silas's skin was turning from the ashy grey to his smooth flawless complexion and Katherine was slowly getting weaker. Elena watched on, her mouth agape while Damon wore a proud smirk as the woman who ruined his life was slowly dying. Katherine's breath was labored and her body fell limp as Silas took the last drop from her veins. She collapsed to the floor and Cassandra felt better than she had in a long time. That thorn in her side was finally dead and gone. She stepped over her still body and stood beside Damon. The room was silent for a minute or so until the slow thumping of a heartbeat penetrated the room. Three sets of eyes snapped over to Katherine's body, holding their breaths.

"Do you hear that?" Elena wondered.

"It's the baby." Cassandra answered, placing a hand on her belly, but feeling her daughter's heartbeat, it was in opposition to the other one in the room. She nudged Katherine's leg with the toe of her boot and the body groaned quietly. "Oh, hell no. You've gotta be kidding me."

"Takes a licking, keeps on ticking." Damon grumbled and Katherine's eyes flew open. Her chest moved up and down with each breath she took and she looked around the room.

"Am I in hell?" She hissed.

"No," Cassandra. "But we are."

AN: I hope that you enjoyed this chapter! Consider it an early Thanksgiving present :) I also wanted to take the time to give thanks for my readers/reviewers. I say it all the time, but I wouldn't be anywhere without all of you. My beta, PrincessOfSilence, as well. You rock, girl and I think you are the only person who gets less sleep than I do, haha! I really love all of you guys and I hope that you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I know what I have to be thankful for and that's all of you xoxo!

grapejuice101: Thanks for reviewing, girl! Hmm, maybe Marcel will use Cassandra against Klaus ;) Hopefully Elijah will tell Klaus about Cassandra's pregnancy.

SomebodyWhoCares: Thank you for reviewing! I don't think Marcel will try to hurt Cassandra or bring her into it, but then again, we never know with Marcel.

Silently Tearful: Agnes has quite a plan and it might not work out so well for Giuliana. The dream between Elijah and Giuliana was very sweet and they will definitely be happy once they see each other again :) Thank you for reviewing!

VampirePrincess11: Hehe, I'm glad you're liking it so far! Thanks for reviewing!

xoxobianca13: Thanks so much, girl! You're awesome! I do love writing Giuliana because she's spunky! She and Cassandra do have similar characteristics, but they are two very independent women who I love to write into chapters :) I would love to play them too on the show if they were real hahah ;) I wish I could write for the show, oh well, a girl can dream!

Daisy96: Yes, things are coming together! It will be interesting to see if and when Marcel finds out about Cassandra. Klaus will definitely find out about Cassandra's pregnancy sooner or later! About Giuliana's mark, it transferred to her in the eleven hundreds after her brother, Alexander, died. The mark continued to stay on her skin, but it disappeared when Jeremy fulfilled his own Hunter's mark. Davina saw Giuliana as a threat since she is protective of Marcel, so when she cast the spell on her, she was trying to show Marcel that she was once a hunter. All of this will be solved when Marcel confronts Giuliana about it, but please be patient for the next update :) Thanks for reviewing!

Seira asami: Both babies are getting a lot of unwanted attention :( It was a shame that Klaus had to ruin the dream between Elijah and Giuliana. Thank you for reviewing!

DritneyForever: Thanks for reviewing! I'm glad that you are enjoying my story :)

snmuenst: Thank you for your review! I think it would be very interesting if Damon and Cassandra were to go to New Orleans for a little. I would have to try and fit it into the show, or they could go during the winter hiatus. Hmm.. ;)

shippolove844: Thanks for reviewing! Stefan can be a pain in the bum, but his sassiness makes up for it, LOL! I really don't know who my favorite female character is on the show. I do like all of them a lot, so I can't decide. Oh, you're rooting for Klaus on The Originals? I do feel bad for him too at times. It will be interesting to see what happens next.
