"For starters let's introduce ourselves" Kaito grinned.
Len just glares at Kaito.
"You idiot, this isn't the time for that-"
"My name is Kaito, prince from the Kingdom Of Blue" He started shaking my hand. Despite his princely status, he's friendly than most royals I've heard about.
"Hey!" Len shouted at him in anger.
"Now this is Len, prince from the Kingdom Of Yellow" He introduced.
Len was clearly getting impatient.
"So, who are you? Person-who-looks-exactly-Len?" Kaito chuckled.
"I'm Rin." I said shyly.
"Rin?" Len-sama repeated my name looking shocked.
"Do you know her?" Kaito asked.
Len closed his eyes, as if he was contemplating about something.
"Nope." He said depressed.
"Len-sama! Please get down here, the guests are waiting to greet you!" Teto said knocking the door from the other side.
"I'm coming." He said annoyed.
"I guess I better go now, I'll go through the balcony." I said walking towards the door with a forced smile.
But the moment I was going to pull the door open, the blue-haired prince pushed it back.
"Hey!" I said with a glare.
He grinned fearlessly.
"You're not going anywhere. I find you interesting." He said, still smiling. "Would you like to come home with me?"
"As if!" I insulted him. "You're gross!"
"How dare you." He replied with his eyes narrowed. "I could get you punished for insulting a prince."
"I don't care." I replied without turning away. "You're the ugliest prince I've met in my life anyway."
Kaito smoothly puts his face near mine with that smug grin.
"Oh, really? I'm ugly? I guess you need glasses then." He said.
I can't help but feel my face burning. I wasn't even sure if it was anger or embarrassment.
"You are really interesting." He said it again. "You're the second person whose ever insulted me like that."
"Just let me go, I want to go home." I answered, trying to pull open the door.
"Oh-" Kaito was about to say something when Len interrupts him. Thank God.
"Hey! leave her alone already." Len said. "She's causing enough trouble as it is."
I could only glare at him. I wasn't meant to cause trouble, I only wanted to deliver the shipment not be pulled into this royal mess. Jeez.
"Go home." He said to me then went outside.
"Ouch." Kaito said. "Too bad you're going home though."
"Shut up."
I then pulled the door, opening it and walked outside. Luckily, I found a wooden-made ladder attached on one side of the fence. This is probably how they climbed up in the first place. I soon climb down with ease until I drop my feet on to the grassy floor. And as soon as I did, I ran as fast as I could to the shop. It was already nighttime by the time I got there,
Once I reached to open the door quietly, I see Neru sitting on a couple of boxes with her arms crossed. She obviously wasn't in a good mood.
"Rin! Where in the world were you?" She stands up."I sent you these boxes to be delivered but you never showed up."
"You see-"
"If boss knew about this he would-"
I soon feel a familiar menacing shadow behind me, it was definitely the boss.
"Boss." We both said in fear.
"Knew about what?" He asked with a suspicious look in his eyes,
"Boss you see-" Before I could even finish, the boss decided to clash in and scold me.
"What are these boxes still doing in here!" He shouted.
Oh, God here it comes.
"I've had it with you, brat!" The boss yelled at me at the top of his lungs as he pulled me harshly by the arm.
"Hey!" I said trying to struggle away from his grip. "Just listen to me for a sec-"
He then opened the door and pushed me outside.
"Be useful for once in your life!" He added as he slammed the door right on my face.
No, this cannot be happening.
"Hey! Neru! Boss! I'm sorry!" I pleaded, trying to convince them to let me in.
"Go home, Rin." I heard Neru's voice, disappointed.
"Fine!" I then started stomping my way back home.
I can't believe it!
If only I got out sooner in that castle, I wouldn't have been fired. Godamn, Len-sama!
I looked up to the starry sky with my eyes starting to well up.
"Mom? You see now? I'm not alright by myself, if only you were here."
I already reached my house. Our home always looked old and rusty since we didn't have any money to fix it up
As I went inside, all I could see was pure darkness, everything was black and blurred.
Only the moonlight seeping out through the house's cracks was my only light now.
"Alright, Rin!" I said to myself.
"Tomorrow morning you're going to get another job and you're gonna do good at it!"
I climbed up my bed pulled the sheets and slept quickly.
At first the sister and her mother thought that they could do anything. But she was dead wrong. They were very weak, they couldn't even get any jobs or even food for the both of them. So the mother chose the last resort to save them both. One night, the sister heard strange sounds coming from her mother's room. Her mother said never to come inside her room but the girl was very curious. So she took a peek and saw another man with her. The sister couldn't understand what was happening but she knew that it hurt her mother. She wanted to save her but she was afraid. As time went by every night there would be another man in her mother's bedroom and a couple of money on the table. For the first time, they had three meals in a day. The girl was overjoyed but when she looked at her mother, there was a certain sadness in her eyes whenever she smiled back at her little girl.
I hate this, anything but this.
I woke up with a jolt as I felt the sun's heat radiating my skin from above.
"Morning already?" I climbed down.
Then I wore my usual clothing consisting of an over sized shirt, my dark brown trousers with suspenders, black boots and my messenger hat. Usually, I always tie my hair into a ponytail but as I saw myself through the cracked mirror, I see nothing but Len-sama which irked me. So, I undid my hair instead and went outside.
I head straight to the town's bulletin board where all the available jobs are posted. But by the time I got there, there was a huge crowd surrounding the board. Even if I tried to push myself in the pack, I would always get shoved back out so I had no choice but to wait until the group of people dispersed. I knew I should've woke up early. Now, I'm going to have to deal myself with the bad jobs that the people don't want. So I sat on a bench across from the bulletin board, waiting.
As minutes, probably an hour went by, I noticed that there was only one paper left stuck on the bulletin board.
I stand up to read through the paper. I could feel my mouth fall in shock.
"No way."

"Maid?"
You've got to be kidding me! I've had enough with those perverted-teleporting-sickos! That's when I decided that I wanted to trade jobs as soon as possible.
"Sorry, but I'm really bad at housekeeping." A woman said to me.
"What? I can't serve royal people, it's too embarrassing." Another plump woman said.
"Wait! I'm just a kid, lady!" A snot-nosed child answered me.
There's really no way out of this, is there? I sighed deeply. Besides, I am really good at cleaning stuff but it's the bossy people that I can't stand.
Once I reached the palace, a familiar armored guard quickly approaches me. Oh, right! He was the one who almost shot me in the head yesterday. Great.
"Do you have any business here?"
Strange, he doesn't call me Len-sama anymore. Oh, right. I didn't tie my hair up today.
I showed him the paper regarding the job. He nods.
"Right this way."
