Confrontation

I was going shopping for some new clothes and updating my wardrobe, I've been wearing the same pieces of clothing for a week. Everything I have left is from when I was with Fairy Tail. I spent my whole savings; one of my favorite was a beautiful kimono dress of pure white with light blue orchards and violets sewn on fading, which I wore for the rest of the day with black over the knee socks and with baby blue wedge with a ribbon the top. I was heading to the French restaurant where I was suppose to meet Zeref for our 4 month anniversary. I couldn't be late because it a expensive one with what said to be one of the best French restaurants, it was built on a beautiful tower which would look perfect since it was reserved for 6. I saw him smiling and waving to me at our reserved seat which had a beautiful view into the night sky. I was about to order when we suddenly was interrupted.
"Hey Luce, what a coincidence! Erza wanted to try the strawberry cheese cake-' Natsu's sentence was cut short by Zeref's Blade which he made out of the shadows.
"No one calls her Luce but me. To you she's L-U-C-Y, I'm serious if you call her that I can only call her Lulu and she ha-" Zeref's words were stopped with me summoning the same blade as him with Mageslayer magic.
"What was that dear? Oh you want to die by your own magic? Okay, your wish is my command." I said with my famous shadow smile.
"Lucy…What happened?" Asked Erza.
"Yeah, I thought we were dating?" asked Natsu said confused.
"Oh we were still dating? I mean we already broke up in my book about…..At least three years ago. Then I met my lil' bundle of gloominess, oh joy. " Then I turned around and started pinching Zeref's cheeks.
"What then you joined Sabertooth? Is it because of this bastard? Wait I'll beat him up Luce."
"Remember what I said?" Zeref threatening as if there was some dark aura around him, Natsu for the first time in his life shrank back from a fight.
"Uh, actually I joined first. I persuaded Zeref to join."
"But Lucy Sabertooth is our enemy." Said Gray.
"I know, I'm not as unattentionative as Fairy Tail." That retort caused confusion.
"What? How are we unattentionative?" asked Gray in *snort* disbelief.
"Well for starters you all ignored me for a year when Lisanna came back, and when I went training for another year no one asked me where I was, then for another year I went Guild hunting and came back no one even cared. Master only noticed when I asked to get my guild mark removed. Even if he didn't seem sad, but he understood me."
"But-" When Gray tried to say something but I cut him off.
"Even if you say that I'm heartless and that I should be glad, I was. I celebrated along with everyone for the first MONTH, you could've been doing greater things.
"But-" Erza began and same as Gray cutoff.
"I mean when Gildard came back you celebrated him for a day, what about Romeo's dad? Same as Gildard, and BOTH were away longer than Lisanna."
"But-" Said Gray again with a second try, but useless.
"You wanted to point out you thought she was dead right? But she came back unharmed. But I get your point, we also thought Romeo's dad was dead right? And also for the hundred years quest Gildard came back with automatil."
"But-" This time Erza.
" You mean she's our comrade right? But so is Romeo's father and Gildard, so am I."
"But-" finally Natsu said.
"She's strong, but Gildard and Romeo's father more so. I've thought this out thoroughly. Think about what you could've accomplished instead of being useless. Natsu and Gray could've been S class, and Erza an SS class like me. Think about all the lives you could've saved from those job requests."
"How-" they began to ask.
"I've had ALOT of quiet time, with EVERYONE IGNORING ME." I said.
"But Lucy we came celebrate someone strong like you; I mean an SS class more than three years." Erza said.
"I'm sorry I'm not an attention whore. Don't you get it, you airheads? I don't hate Lisanna, I don't wish for her to be ignored, because I understand. Even if I don't celebrate along with you guys doesn't mean I don't care. I don't want her to get soft, but become more useful to the guild and stronger. In a sense I understand her more than you." I said.
"But Lucy how did you get those powers?" Asked Natsu.
"You must've heard it from Markov, it's exactly that." The shocked faces of theirs were priceless.
"Must have been a shock that you're adorable and naïve rookie became a murderer right? I had the same expression when it finally dawned onto me, that I was useless here, and would only make me sadder." I said with a smirk then I pulled up Gray's shirt and half growled and half said "Be glad I am kind, that I REMEMBERED the times; good and bad we had and took it easy on you."
