The Awakening of Heartphilia

As I held her hand, kneeling moving my hand wrapped around her cold hands while trying to give her warmth until the sun disappeared from the sky and everyone except the stubborn strawberry head but that wasn't important. I put her hand against my forehead and then I moved her hand to my lips and kissed her hand like a knight would to his princess, heh..She would protest that princess were too powerless and would rather be the Queen so I corrected and whispered "My Queen…I swore to protect you until the day that the moon outshines the sun, until the day that stars no longer shine, until the day truth becomes lies, until the day that you'll let me call you Lulu-"

"Don't call me that you fool…" said a voice that I love.

"I'm not a fool, I'm a knight!" I said childishly moving her hand…Our hands to my chest where my heart lies beneath.

"Hahaha…" She said giggling.

"Well at least I'm your jester, and it seems I'm a good one too!" We said laughing "I'll give you my heart if you'll give yours, after this GMG game let's get married and live in a cute cottage on a beautiful hill by the beach with white picket fences where our children can play." I said tightening my grip on her hand above my hand.

"I…"

As I saw them together…A pang of jealously rang through my body…I wanted to be the one who could be there for her…But all I got was the depressing truth that asked me if I could have done all things Zeref did, protecting her, making her laugh, giving her a shoulder to lean on, wiping her tears, and respecting all her decisions. I think I would have abandoned her so I can't get hurt…That is why I only had a sad smile when Zeref proposed to her.

"I…don't know, to just give up everything that I worked for, that was my only goal but I'm also very tired." She said.

"Hey…Um Lucy I think I finally understand what you meant…I was only honestly blinded…Zeref, I leave Lucy to you." Then I stood up and left the room carefully thinking about the words she told me before.
