Ruined

It wasn't fair.

How she hated those two kids. Gideon Pines and Pacifica Northwest. Even just thinking of them sickened her.

It should have been them, not him.

They had ruined everything. They had exposed the cameras and taken apart everything she and her twin had worked for. Because of them, her brother was sitting in a cell in an unattractive orange jumpsuit and she was under house arrest at the Tent of Telepathy.

It should have worked, the plan was perfect, why had everything gone so wrong?

No one wanted to see the shows anymore, not after what they had found out about Dipper's cameras (hadn't she warned him numerous times that it would get him into serious trouble if someone in town saw them?). She didn't dare go outside, admittedly worried about how the other residents would react to seeing her on the streets. They hadn't exactly been friendly the last time she was out.

They were going to pay for this.

It was funny, how she hadn't ever realized how much she had depended on her younger twin. He always had a plan, usually well-thought and precise, and he would always be quick to defend her. If he were here now, perhaps he would have jumped to her rescue when the cameras had been trained on her, some newswoman asking her how she felt about her brother being carted off to jail.

This had better not be sentiment.

She shook herself out of these depressing thoughts and struggled to focus on the task at hand. Those kids thought it was over, right? That now that Dipper was in jail, she could do nothing to them?

So it would appear.

Mabel snorted in an unladylike manner and scanned the notes her dear brother had written about the amulet (which was now broken thanks to those insufferable brats). She may not have the journal or be as intelligent as him, but Mabel Gleeful was not a weak sniveling coward.

Oh, they will wish that they were never born when I get my hands on them.

And then... perhaps she would pay her brother a visit.

Don't worry, dear brother, I won't leave you in there. I've just got to clean up a little pest problem here...
