A/N: Sorry if this seems rushed, I just want to finish this story so time is passing :D

A month.

A whole month had passed without a word from Jane. Lisbon was slipping - struggling - she couldn't seem to focus on any case for any significant amount of time. And she felt like an idiot for it.

Never before had boys, men, relationships - anything like that, been able to distract Lisbon as much as Jane was now. But then again, she reminded herself, this wasn't necessarily a high school crush gone wrong. It was perfectly acceptable to worry about someone you care about when they disappear without a trace. This wasn't some "my husband's gone off to war, when will he return" scenario, no. This was, my best friend and long-time colleague is suffering and is gone and I have no clue where he is or if he's even breathing. It made perfect sense to be upset.

But for a whole month? where the hell was he.

Lisbon was getting mighty sick of the glares she caught from people around the CBI. She knew that there were rumours of how she was reacting and she had to admit that they stung at her pride. Anger for Jane's selfishness welled up inside of her as her head told her that this was all his fault. The problem was though, her heart told her different.

"Jane, please call me." She texted him again as she sat, once more, distracted in her office. Each time she texted she felt like more and more like an idiot, knowing that he must be ignoring her messages by now and not just busy. She sat, entering her now habitual ritual of letting her mind wonder about where Jane was, what he was doing, how wrong she'd been in thinking that he cared about her, or her feelings, at all.

********two hours later********

Cho came back into the bullpen, meeting his two colleagues' worried expressions.

"Asleep again?" Van pelt asked, noticing that Cho still held the files he'd left with with the intention of discussing some case points with Lisbon.

"Yep." Cho sat at his desk, and swung around to face Rigsby as he began to talk.

"This is only the second time - maybe she just isn't sleeping well." Rigsby said, knowing that Cho would want to tell Wainwright.

Cho looked from Rigsby's pleading eyes, over to Grace's, his expression unchanging, and then responded.

"Mmkay. But if it happens again we tell the Boss."

"Tell the boss what?" Wainwright's sudden presence made Rigsby and Van pelt suddenly straighten, whereas Cho just looked up at him.

While Grace and Rigsby were sweating buckets, Cho somehow came up with a quick and believable answer.

"Rigsby keeps eating all the yakults. They're for the whole floor and he's eating them."

Wainwright looked a little shocked, then looked at Rigsby who just looked plain offended. "Agent Rigsby, you heard agent Cho, cut down on the yakults, they're for everybody."

"Yes sir" Rigsby said, promising himself that he would get Cho back later, but grateful that Cho hadn't ratted out Lisbon.

"Speaking of everybody, where's agent Lisbon?"

Grace and Rigsby looked at each other in panic but again, Cho saved the day.

"She needed some air I think. Went downstairs."

"Thank you agent!" Wainwright said with his usual enthusiasm, "I will have to call her later. Rigsby, I'll be counting the Yakults."

Rigsby nodded until a good few seconds after Wainwright was out of view, and Cho stared at him with a blank expression.

"What?" Rigsby raised his hands in the air innocently.

"If you two wide-eyed criminals don't want Lisbon in trouble you'd better up your game."

Rigsby would have argued back about Cho's decision to get him into trouble instead of Lisbon, but realised Cho was right. Not only that he and Grace were bad liars, but that sooner or later if things didn't improve, Wainwright would have to find out. It would be for the better of the team, and maybe even for Lisbon.

There's another one! After a month, Lisbon's hardly coping okay. Things will get more interesting soon hopefully, more feeling at least. :D
