Gravity Falls Season 2 Information and Chapter 36!
Hello Faller community! Alisi Thorndyke here with announcement I know you guys are just dying to hear! Yes, this is the time you've all been waiting for and the wait is officially over! Gravity Falls season 2 will officially premiere on August 1st with Episode 2 airing on Monday August 4th. Here is the information from the Gravity Falls Live! Panel from yesterday and credit goes to Christy_77780 for informing me of this!

Episode 1 is titled "Scaryoke" and will air August 1, 2014 on Disney Channel
Episode 2 is titled "Into the Bunker" and will air August 4, 2014 on Disney XD
They showed off a different Summerween cold open as the table read and also a different introduction to Bill Cipher that had to be changed.
The season 2 promo art that has been making its way was given out as a poster.
The season two clip was from "Into the Bunker" and featured Wendy going full lumberjack up a tree to hit a fake branch switch that opens a hidden staircase that leads to a mysterious bunker underneath the same tree the switch that opened the Journal 3 hiding spot was in. Make sure to enjoy the pictures taken above taken by some brave attendees at the event! More will be added as it develops!"

Chapter 36: God Speed!
'What is time and how can it be measured? Is time measured the same in every realm of space or is it different for every aspect of the universe? With the history of the Athura family line disappearing rapidly, Mabellita must stop the unraveling before time runs out or else the future she knows will disappear forever!'
Walking through the palace hall to retrieve her daughter for her official Introduction Ceremony to the kingdom dressed in her royal robes, Mabellita now reaches her daughter's room. Upon opening the door, Mabellita notices that her daughter is sitting on the end of her bed with one of her dolls in her hands.
"Alright Mabel, it's time." Mabellita happily announces to her daughter. "It's your moment to shine."
The young girl looks up from her doll and turns to her mother, giving the woman an awkward stare with a head tilt. Cocking an eyebrow at her daughter's stare, Mabellita steps into the room and crosses her arms across her chest.
"Mabel, we've been over this." Mabellita continues, her voice now stern. "This is the only way for the kingdom to know that an heir will take over the kingdom when your father and I are gone. You can play with your doll later, now let's get going."
"You're my mom?" Mabel asks in confusion as she sets the doll down and gets to her feet. "I'm sorry, but I don't know you. You seem nice, but I don't think you're my mother, are you?"
Uncrossing her arms, a sickening feeling now enters the queen's stomach with a worried look crossing her features upon hearing her own daughter say those words to her. She knows how much Mabel detests this ceremony, but to pretend not to know her? That's just upsetting!
"Mabel, honey." Mabellita speaks, now walking over to her daughter and kneeling to meet her at eye level. "Are you ok? Did you hurt your head or yourself? What's the matter? You're scaring me."
"Where am I?" The young girl asks as she steps away from Mabellita. "Do I live here miss nice woman?"
Getting to her feet, Mabellita can feel tears starting to surface to her eyes while keeping her vision on her daughter.
"Mabel." Mabellita whispers. "My little princess, what's wrong with you?"
Keeping her vision on the girl, Mabellita notices Mabel turn her back to her and then vanish from sight, the woman's eyes widening at the sight of her daughter vanishing into thin air.
"MABEL!" Mabellita screams, rushing to catch Mabel's ghost form left behind, but discovers the ghost wake disappear along with her daughter's physical form. Dropping her face into her hands, Mabellita begins sobbing heavily, heavily discontent that her only daughter has disappeared to who knows where!
"Mabel." Mabellita continuing sobbing.
The surroundings in Mabel's room becomes still around the queen with a yellow triangular shape demon now appearing behind her.
"If you think that disappearing act is something, you should see what I've got planned next!" Bill speaks with Mabellita now whipping her attention to him. Quickly getting to her feet, Mabellita wipes her tears from her eyes and stands in defense incase Bill's next plan is to attack her.
"Bill!" Mabellita hisses. "Where is my daughter and are you behind this?"
"Now why would I know where your precious bundle of joy is?" Bill asks, his tone of voice playful which earns him a death glare from the Queen. "Ok, you got me! I am behind this, but don't worry, she's in a safe place despite her memory loss. Poor thing!"
"Bring her back this instant demon!" Mabellita demands. "You had no right to take her from me! She isn't some pawn in whatever sick game you're playing!"
"No can do your highness!" Bill snaps back. "You see, your past self made a deal with me and promised anything in order to have a wish she so desperately wanted to have come true. So I'm taking her at her word for "anything."
"But what does that have to do with making my daughter disappear?!" Mabellita asks, her voice still full of hatred for the demon.
"Let me put it to you this way." Bill continues now lowering himself onto Mabel's elaborate bedroom desk with his eye shifting into a nonchalant look. "If you and your dear husband never met, then your dear daughter could never be born. Journal '1' has the history of the entire Athura family line, but with that also missing, technically your family history is dwindling down to nothing!"
Hearing Bill mention '1', Mabellita now remembers leaving it on Mabel's nightstand after reading the history of her and Mordecai's meeting back when they were twelve years old. Turning around to the nightstand, Mabellita notices that the maroon book is also missing. Her eyes widening, she turns back to Bill.
"It was sitting right there!" Mabellita replies, gesturing to the piece of furniture. "I left it there last night when talking to and tucking my princess into bed. Where could it have gone?"
"You really should keep up with these things better because you never know how important they can be to your future." Bill nonchalantly speaks as he snaps his fingers, the book now appearing in his right hand. "I've had a look through your family history and it's longer than my own life span. Interesting, but long."
"Give me that book Bill or I'll-" Mabellita begins, but is cut off by Bill snapping his fingers and sealing the queen's mouth shut.
"When your past self said that she promised anything in exchange for her wish, all bets were off!" Bill speaks, his voice now a dangerous calm as he lifts back into the air. "And anything means everything, but I'm not totally heartless so here's what I'll do. Starting now, you have until the final drop of sand of the hour glass to go back to the past to keep yourself from making such a deadly wish. If you fail to fix it before the sand runs out, the life you know now will cease to exist, your precious daughter included."
An hour glass now appears on Mabel's desk underneath the demon, the first grain of sand falling into the bottom of the glass.
"And while you're busy with that, I'll just hold onto this as collateral." Bill says, wagging the book in front of the woman's face as she struggles to unglue her lips. "Godspeed your highness!"
Bursting into maniacal laughter, the demon vanishes into thin air with journal '1' in hand and Mabellita's lip now becoming unsealed. Falling to her knees, Mabellita exhales a breath she was holding in, not believing the events that just transpired before her. After everything she has worked hard to protect and build, it has all become undone thanks to a deal Mabel made with Bill back in her time, but what could she possibly wish for that could affect her future?
"Mabel, what have you done?" Mabellita whispers to herself.
