Crimson Rising
Chapter 41: Glory of Love
You keep me standing tall
You help me through it all
I'm always strong when you're beside me
I have always needed you
I could never make it alone
I am the man who will fight for your honor
I'll be the hero
You've been dreaming of
We'll live forever
Knowing together that we did it all
For the glory of love

The Legacy Compound
"Dude, I'm worked. Can you toss me the remote?" Dustin called, as he plopped down on one of the sofas in the rec room.
"No way dude," Shane retorted.
"Why not?" Dustin asked, almost in a whiny voice. They were exhausted after training, but still too wired to go to bed.
"Cause no one wants to watch Super Cross," Shane retorted. Dustin snorted.
"No one wants to watch skateboarding either," Dustin said, as Kira snatched the remote from Shane. The red ranger held up his hands, giving her a questioning look.
"It's "I Wanna Be a Star" night," Kira said simply, referring to a popular talent show. The boys, including Conner, groaned.
"I've got more talent in my pinky than most of those wannabes," Conner complained, only to be shushed by his girlfriend, as she flipped to the network channel that aired it, only to find a special news program in place of her show.
"Good evening, I'm Gina Barnes. Our regular programming will resume tomorrow evening, but tonight, we are anxious to bring you a special live event," the well-known reporter stated, as the camera panned to several people in the room with her.
"For months, the public has been gripped with fear, as our planet has been under attack like never before. This has caused several power ranger teams, some which had not been seen in years, to mysteriously reappear to come to our aid. But in a shocking turn of events, our Commander and Chief revealed their secret identities to the world and since then, we have all been gripped by questions and disbelief, as some realized that they knew some of those faces. And tonight, we are talking with just a few of those individuals who hope they can shed some light on the people behind those helmets," the reporter said.
"Son of a Bitch..." Conner swore, as he saw his ex-girlfriend Krista on the stage.
"She's going to rip you apart," Ethan chimed in, earning a glare from his leader.
"What's going on?" Adam asked, as he and Tanya walked in.
"Interviews with people that claim they know some of us. It's probably not going to end well," Trent mentioned.
"Oh my God...it's Shawn," Tanya said, as she spotted her ex-high school boyfriend.
"Another ex?" Shane asked. She nodded.
"Just about the biggest douche I ever wasted my time on," she spat.
"Uh oh...Shauna too," Adam said.
"Who's she?" Dustin asked.
"She used to be Aisha's best friend, before we moved to Angel Grove and became rangers. She was really jealous of Aisha's new friendship with Kimberly," Adam explained.
"No way...Dustin, isn't that Roger Hanna?" Shane asked. The yellow wind ranger nodded.
"Damn...he's probably going to trash Blake and Hunter," Dustin responded.
"Who's that guy on the end?" Ethan asked. Shane sighed.
"That would be Dill. He had a thing for Tori, but she never really went out with him. I'm sure he's going to spew a bunch of lies about her," Shane replied.
"Maybe we shouldn't watch this," Kira suggested.
"Too late. It's kind of like a train wreck. You want to look away...but you can't," Shane replied, as they sat back to reluctantly watch the interviews.
"Welcome to all of you. I believe I will start with you on the end, Mr. Dillon Silverman," she said.
"This should be good," Dustin grumbled.
"Please call me Dill," he replied.
"Dill...you were at one time acquainted with Tori Hanson, am I correct?" Gina asked.
"Actually, I was a little more than acquainted. I dated her for a while, back in 2003," he lied.
"Called it!" Shane said, knowing the surfer was going to lie through his teeth for fifteen seconds of fame.
"So...they never dated at all?" Conner asked.
"He asked her out and she was going hang with him, but Lothor attacked just before they were supposed to go. She told him she would be running late and when she got there later, she spotted him flirting with a bunch of girls, so she bailed," Dustin recalled, remembering her phone call that night when she vented to him about it.
"We have on record that Blue Bay Harbor was under attack that year and she was an active ranger," Gina stated. He nodded.
"It made sense when I found out. She was always late for our dates or running off with her guy friends," Dill said, rolling his eyes.
"Did it bother you that she had so many male friends?" Gina asked.
"Of course it did, but I tried to be cool. She had known Shane and Dustin a long time, after all. But then she started hanging out with those bikers too," Dill complained.
"Dude...is this guy for real? He's making this all up!" Shane complained.
"Sounds like he was watching her a bit though if he noticed Hunter and Blake's presence," Kira mentioned.
"You are referring to Hunter and Blake Bradley, I assume?" Gina asked. He nodded.
"Yeah, she was pretty cozy with Blake, but I tried to ignore it. I thought she was into me, at least the few times we hooked up," he explained.
"Dirt bag..." Dustin spat.
"Ugh...I can't believe he's lying like this!" Kira exclaimed, angry that this guy was basically saying her friend was easy.
"But she dumped me a few months later for Blake Bradley," he lied.
"Are you aware that she is now romantically linked to Hunter Bradley?" the reporter asked. He nodded.
"She probably used the younger one like she used me and moved on. But if she's in bed with a murderer, then it's my opinion that she's just as guilty as him," Dill said.
"Bastard!" Shane cursed.
"Dude is seriously tweaked! I say we go wail on him," Dustin suggested.
"Guys...I know it's hard to sit here and listen to them rip us each apart, especially since I know Tori's like your sister, but we can't retaliate," Adam reasoned.
"Adam's right. No matter how much I want to storm into that studio and wipe that smug grin off Shawn's stupid face, we'll only sink to their level," Tanya said. Shane and Dustin deflated, knowing they were right, as the Earth ninja's phone beeped.
"Hey Cam," he answered.
"Marah, Kapri and Dex are back. They have the crystal. Thought you'd like to know," Cam said.
"Thanks Cam," Dustin grinned, as he and Shane left with a few of the others left to meet them in Ranger Ops, while some stayed behind to keep watching TV.
"You know, we don't have to watch this," Kira mentioned. Conner shrugged.
"As bad as it will be, I think I need to see this," he replied, as the reporter moved to Krista next.
"Ms. Krista Langston, you're also an ex-girlfriend to a former ranger, am I correct?" Gina asked. She nodded.
"Yes, I briefly dated Conner McKnight our senior year in High School," she replied.
"What was that like?" the reporter asked.
"Okay at first. There was no denying that Conner is very good looking, but I never pursued him, because everyone knew he was a player, though he did seem to mature during that year. I was shocked when I found out he was a ranger though. He just always seemed a little too selfish to be a hero," Krista replied.
"Ouch," Conner grumbled.
"Did he cheat on you?" Gina asked. She nodded.
"He denied it, but I wasn't blind. I could see that he had a thing for Kira Ford. We went to Prom together, but the whole time, he was watching her. I dumped him the next day," she replied.
"Damn...that last part is kind of true," Conner said, as she squeezed his hand.
"If I were Kira though, I'd really reconsider a commitment to him. Deep down, he is still a player and he'll move on once he's tired of her," Krista said.
"And there's the lie," Kira refuted, as she shut the TV off.
"Why don't you play for us? That's better than anything on TV," Conner suggested. She smiled and grabbed her guitar. Ethan, Trent, and Kelly, who were still in the room agreed, as Kira began strumming her guitar.
Tori cuddled atop his bare chest, their skin glistening in afterglow. They had put Zoe to bed and then retired themselves, but sleep had not been on their minds. She was draped over him their limbs entwined and neither of them was in a hurry for this to end. Their lips met in soft, gentle pecks and hands roamed, gently caressing intimately. She gently nibbled at his neck and her fingers idly traced the lines of definition on his chest. He lost his hands in her silken blonde hair and held her moaned, relishing the feel of his hands on her. His phone chimed, but they barely noticed, as they were far too lost in each other to care.
Sometime later...
As they attempted to catch their breath, Hunter grabbed his phone to see who was being so insistent on getting his attention.
"Who is it?" she asked.
"Just the guys. They're all saying we should turn on the TV. Something about some interviews that are on with people claiming they know us. Doesn't sound like it's good," he replied. She took his phone and set it down, before cuddling against him.
"You're not curious?" he asked. She shook her head.
"Not tonight and I don't care what anyone says about us. They don't know you like I do and they can say what they want about us. You're mine and I'm not sharing tonight," she replied. He smirked and wrapped her in his arms.
"No argument here," he replied, as they cuddled. But she noticed the pensive look on his face.
"You're worrying again," she mentioned, as she caressed his cheek. He kissed her hand and shook his head.
"Not really, it's just that I'm thinking about how it will never be normal again, even if we do defeat Ooze," he said. She lifted her head and shifted so she could look into his eyes.
"Normal?" she asked.
"I mean there is a very real chance when this is over that you and I will never be able to leave Academy grounds, unless we're disguised. I can live with that myself, but it's not fair to you or Zoe," he replied.
"Do you think I would really consider giving you up so Zoe and I can live in the city?" she asked.
"No...but it's still not fair," he replied.
"I don't know, I think we're going to be the lucky ones after all this is over," she said.
"Really?" he asked. She nodded.
"Think about it. We'll rebuild the Academy and help Cam and Sensei run it together. I mean, I haven't really discussed it with them, but is there really a reason to separate our Academies anymore when we're one team again? I'm mean...we're all family. We're getting married and we're all ninjas and rangers, so it doesn't even make sense to have two schools when we can just have one big one," she reasoned He smiled.
"I like the way you think," he replied, as he kissed her tenderly. Cuddled together beneath the bedclothes, it wasn't long before they were asleep.
Ranger Ops
They had parted briefly to put their children to bed and Kat found him in Ranger Ops. Shane and Dustin were welcoming Kapri, Marah, and Dex back. Billy held the yellow zeo crystal and she watched him join it in the device that held the pink and green ones.
"You really came through, I'll admit," Cam said, as he stood between his cousins.
"Aw...I knew all along that you liked us," Kapri teased. Cam rolled his eyes.
"Don't get carried away," he replied sarcastically.
"Leo just called in and they have the blue one. They should be back by morning," Billy mentioned.
"That's fantastic. That only leaves red," Kat said, as she came beside him.
"That means we need to be thinking about who the new bearers of the crystal should be," Hayley reminded. Billy nodded and took Kat's hand, as they decided to finally take their walk.
"How do we decide who should be the new zeo team?" she asked him, as the Ops hatch opened and the smell of the sea air filled their nostrils.
"Well, I was thinking that we should let the last bearers of the crystals make that decision, kind of like you did when you passed on the Turbo powers," Billy replied. Kat looked uncertain.
"I'm not sure that's a good idea, at least for me. I'm not sure I'm the best judge of character," Kat said dejectedly. Billy took her hands and made her look at him.
"I disagree. Last time, you five managed to choose most of the team that managed to save Earth from Dark Spector, not to mention the rest of the Universe," Billy replied.
"Maybe...but then I chose Malcolm," she said.
"Who deceived you about who he really was at every turn. That's on him, Kat, not you," he insisted. She smiled gently.
"I'd forgotten what it was like to have someone believe in me the way you do," she mentioned.
"I'm going to make sure you never forget again, if you'll let me," he replied.
"Billy, what are saying?" she asked. He swallowed the lump in his throat.
"We've both been hurting. You because of everything Malcolm has done to you and me because of Cestria's death. But I know that it hurts less when I'm with you," he said, as he took her hands again.
"I know we both want to take things slowly, but I've realized that I love you...I think I have for a long time. Our love wasn't meant to happen back then, but I think it's meant to be now," Billy said. Tears slipped down Kat's cheeks and she squeezed his hands.
"I love you too," she replied, as he hugged her close. Gently, their lips met in a tender kiss, as the sun slowly set around them.
Ivan Ooze's Spaceship
Toxa smirked, as she watched the screen. These humans were so entertaining at times.
"Thank you for being here tonight, all of you, but particularly you, Mr. Hanna. For the viewers who don't know, Roger Hanna is head coordinator for Factory Blue, one of the top motocross teams in the country," the reporter said.
"Thank you for having me, Gina. I hope I can offer at least a small shred of light into at least one of the rangers," Roger replied.
"Yes, you recruited Blake Bradley to Factory Blue four years ago, am I correct? It has been discovered that Blake is in fact the Navy ranger," she asked. He nodded.
"Yes, he and his brother Hunter, the one that murdered our President, were the best riders I had ever seen, absolutely unreal on the track," Roger said.
"So when you found out they were rangers, how did you feel?" she asked. He shrugged.
"I thought Blake and I had a good friendship, but it started to make sense," Roger replied.
"How so?" Gina asked.
"Why they were so good. I mean, Blake never and I mean never lost a race. Hunter from what I remember had only ever lost to his brother. And now it makes sense, because for years we've all seen the power rangers ride various motorcycle type vehicles that are obviously using alien technologies. They had mastered equipment like that so it was no wonder that they were able to be the best on the track," Roger said.
"Is it true that you never offered Hunter the same opportunity to ride with Factory Blue as you did Blake?" Gina asked. He shook his head.
"No, though my partners wanted the older Bradley too. I told them I thought he was unstable though. I'd seen his temper explode on the track and knew there was something off about him. Turns out I was right," Roger replied. Gina nodded.
"Thank you Roger," she said, as she moved onto the next interview.
Toxa swirled the wine in her glass, as she used the comm system to watch the humans they were attempting to conquer. She found them fascinating, simply because when they were presented with diversities or differences with each other, they would seek to destroy each other. These simpletons that were still breathing because of the rangers had taken to the National Television circuit to spout what was probably embellished gossip or complete lies.
"Why are you watching this garbage?" Thrax hissed, as he poured his own drink.
"Research. The humans are practically destroying themselves over this whole debacle. The way some of them tear down their heroes is quite ruthless," she mentioned.
"So what you're saying is that we could almost just kick back here and wait for them to destroy each other," Thrax replied. She smirked.
"Almost...but then we wouldn't have quite as much fun, though it is quite amusing that his own kind want your cousin's head on a platter," she said. Thrax chuckled.
"They can have the pieces once we're done with him," Thrax said darkly.
Xinshing entered his Master's Throne room and bowed respectfully.
"Master, we have received an urgent transmission from the planet Onyx. A bounty hunter by the name of Syrus Cho'lak says he has urgent information that we must be made aware of," Xin reported.
"Syrus...a Cimmerian bounty hunter, am I correct?" he asked.
"Yes, my Lord. I ordered him to relay the information to me, but he insisted that he speak personally with you," Xin replied, clearly unnerved by the bounty hunter's boldness. Ivan chuckled.
"Relax General, I will speak with the bounty hunter. I have heard Syrus is very good at what he does and he could be of use to me," Ivan responded.
"With all due respect, my Lord, he cannot be trusted," Xin refuted.
"True, but for the right price, he will get any job I offer done. And if he has an ounce of brains in his fat head, he will think twice before crossing me," Ivan stated. Xin nodded.
"Of course My Lord," Xin obeyed, as he patched the transmission through to his Master's personal comm channel.
"Greetings Lord Ooze," The Cimmerian said with a respectful bow. Cimmerians were a unique species. They appeared to be a human-like race, much like Kerovians, Eltarians, and Earthings of course. But unlike Earthlings, they were an older race and had developed abilities that Earthlings had not yet, much like Kerovians with telekinesis and Eltarians with telepathy. Cimmerians had a much more violent history than the other two races and were powerful warriors. They were born with more physical strength than the other races and this largely contributed to many Cimmerians leading lives as mercenaries or bounty hunters.
This particular one hid an attractive human-looking face behind a monstrous looking mask that he sported as part of his professional visage. The mask itself had leathery looking skin that looked perfectly real and sharp canine teeth, which were actually real and part of the man. It was something that easily distinguished a Cimmerian from a Kerovian or a human. Most of them had a full set of sharp, pointed teeth, likely due to centuries of their mostly carnivorous diet. Though they weren't nearly as strong as the Duronians, they could easily overpower many species. His armor was just as frightening as the mask, all black, leathery and adorned with sharp, deadly spikes.
"My General tells me that you have information for me," Ivan stated.
"Yes Lord Ooze...I have reason to believe that there are power rangers after the shards of the zeo crystal and they have at least one," Syrus reported. Ivan's eyes glowed purple, as anger and disbelief filled them.
"So what you are saying is that you let them get away with a zeo crystal!" Ivan shouted.
"With all due respect, my Lord, they tricked me!" Syrus hissed.
"That little bitch was very convincing with her Astronema disguise. I really thought she had returned to her old ways," he tried to explain. Xinshing snorted derisively.
"Idiot," he hissed, as the bounty hunter glared at him. Suddenly, they were interrupted by one of Xin's underlings.
"General...I have disturbing news from Triforia!" he exclaimed.
"What is it, Captain Finch?" Xin demanded.
"General Toft has reported that the zeo crystal in the Royal Treasure room is missing," Finch replied. Purple electricity sparked dangerously around Ivan Ooze, as he realized exactly what the rangers were up to.
"How in bloody hell did Toft allow that to happen?!" Xin roared angrily. Toft was one of his warriors, a powerful one, but it was well known that he drank too much and was easily seduced by a pretty face.
"He is waiting to speak with you, General," Finch stated, as Xin pulled him on the comm system, splitting the screen on the call. The other green skinned alien appeared on the screen, looking very nervous.
"You had better have a good explanation, Captain. Your assignment to guard the Triforian palace was not difficult!" Xin roared.
"I'm deeply sorry General," he pleaded.
"What happened?" Xin snapped.
"I let my guard down and that little bitch tricked me into believing she was still on our side," Toft hissed.
"What little bitch?" Xin demanded.
"Lothor's niece, the blonde one. I don't even remember the little wench's name," Toft admitted.
"So you were thinking with your dick again and let her seduce you! Let me guess, she drugged you too and then made off with the crystal so she could take it to her ranger friends!" Xin deduced.
"Sir...I had no idea how she even was able to touch the crystal. Their story was very convincing! They even brought us a prisoner to convince us that they were evil again!" he pleaded. Xin scoffed.
"You mindless fool...they brought one of those goody-goody rangers with them to set you up!" Xin screamed.
"But Sir...it wasn't a ranger! They brought the Prince of Edenoi as their prisoner!" he tried to explain.
"Oh, because that changes everything!" Xin spat sarcastically, as his subordinate groveled.
"Lieutenant Volkar, I'd like to congratulate you on your promotion to Captain," Xin told the officer next to the Captain.
"Th...ank you General," he said, trying quickly to get over his shock.
"Sir please...just give me one more chance. I will go to Earth and make those little bitches pay!" Toft pleaded.
"I'm sorry Captain, but I have stripped you of your rank. Your idiocy has allowed a zeo crystal to be gained by our enemies and for that you must be punished severally," Xin stated coldly.
"Sir...please, I'll do anything!" he pleaded.
"Captain Volkar, please see that papers are filed for Captain Toft's dishonorable discharge from my army and see that he is escorted back to Duronia where I'm sure he will enjoy his new post as a diamond mine worker in the fire pits," Xin ordered. Toft's eyes widened in horror, as he was basically delivered a death sentence, a long, horrible and drawn out one.
"No...Sir please! Not the Fire pits!" he pleaded.
"Triforia is your responsibility now, General Volkar. Get this scum out of my sight," Xin snapped.
"Yes Sir," Volkar said, bowing deeply.
"Father...I'm sorry to interrupt, but I have received word that the red and silver space rangers were spotted on KO-35," Toxa stated, as she abruptly entered.
"They're going after another one," Ivan growled.
"Allow me to go and stop them, my Lord. I will force one of those pure hearted simpletons to gain the crystal for you and dispose of the rangers," Xin said. Ivan nodded.
"Take Toxa and Thrax with you. Do not fail me, General," Ivan ordered. He bowed and left with Toxa, leaving Ivan to speak with the bounty hunter.
"Well, it's been real your Lordship, but I'll be going now," Syrus stated.
"Just a moment, Mr. Cho'lak, I have a lucrative proposition for you," Ivan stated. The bounty hunter raised an eyebrow.
"Let me guess, you want to hire me to do some ranger hunting?" he asked. Ivan smirked.
"Of sorts. I am going to need to distract some of the rangers to keep all of them from aiding KO-35," Ivan stated.
"The old divide and conquer routine, I assume?" he asked.
"You're smarter than you look," Ooze jabbed.
"You're right, I am, and no amount of money is going to get me stupid enough to take the Phoenix ranger on head on. Not even I am that good," he spat.
"No, you're not, but I am nearly positive that Xin and Thrax will attract him to aide KO-35. None of the others are strong enough to take on Xinshing yet and that's why I would need you to stir up havoc on Earth," Ivan stated.
"How much does it pay? I don't work cheap, especially if I'm fighting rangers with crazy strong powers," he spat.
"How does 500 pounds of Duronian diamonds, mined from the Fire pits itself sound?" Ivan questioned. The bounty hunter couldn't hide his surprise. The volatile Fire pits produced a plethora of diamonds that were twice as expensive as regular diamonds. Because of the environment they were created in, they were harder, more resilient, and thus more valuable. And they were mined with blood, meaning that the workers were forced into this labor by their imprisonment. Duronians sent those they wanted to punish into the Fire pits.
"Your demise is coming, crimson ranger...you and your entire team..." Ivan growled, as his eyes bled with purple malice.
The next morning
Tommy and Kim sat down at the breakfast table with some of the others to eat, while the scathing interviews from the previous night replayed on the TV they kept in the kitchen.
"You guys are still watching this garbage?" Tommy asked.
"I was trying to watch the news, but apparently this is the news," Rocky griped.
"Ugh...since when did we get old enough to watch the news?" Kim wondered idly, making them all chuckle.
"I know...I never thought I'd actually actively try to watch it either. It's never any good, so I don't see why we seem to have a morbid need to watch it as we get older," Aisha added, as Shawn's smug face flashed on the screen.
"Yet none of us turns it off," Adam mentioned. But no one made a move. It was the train wreck effect all over again.
"Shawn Harper, you knew two of the rangers, quite personally, didn't you?" the reporter, Gina Barnes, asked. The African-American young man nodded.
"I knew them all, I believe they would have been the zeo rangers at the time, but I knew Adam Park and Tanya Sloan a bit better," he responded.
"Tanya and I dated for a while. We would have been hot and heavy, but she was always running off with her friends it seemed," Shawn said.
"I suppose that makes sense now?" Gina asked.
"I suppose so, but even when we were together, it was hard to be alone with her. It always seemed like Katherine or Adam would pop up no matter where we went," Shawn snorted.
"Especially Adam. I could see he head a thing for her and I know he enjoyed kicking my ass in the tournament we fought in against each other," Shawn said.
"Some would say now that fighting him was a bit unfair to you, being that he was a power ranger, an active one at the time," Gina mentioned.
"Try really unfair. I didn't stand a chance and he should have never been allowed to compete," Shawn explained.
"Can you believe this poser?" Rocky spat, as he swallowed a bite of his eggs.
"Considering it's Shawn, I can. Hot and heavy? In his dreams," Tanya grumbled, as she poured some coffee.
"He's right about one thing though," Adam said, as he took a bite of his toast.
"I did enjoy kicking his ass in that tournament," he said, as he and Rocky shared a high five. Tanya and Aisha rolled their eyes at their usual antics.
"He's just bitter, because he is a jackass and Tanya saw him for what he really was. He lost his chance with the best girl ever," Adam added, as he flashed one of his charming smiles at her. Tanya smiled back and squeezed his hand.
"Dude please, I'm eating," Rocky joked, earning him a smack on the arm from Aisha, just as the reporter moved on to Shauna.
"This should be good," Aisha mentioned with a sigh.
"Don't let her get to you, babe. She's a bitch, always was," Rocky said.
"She was my best friend at one time," Aisha reminded him.
"She was still kind of a bitch then. She barely tolerated Rocky and me," Adam chimed in, as they listened to the last interview repeat.
"And finally, Ms. Shauna Covey, it is my understanding that you know Aisha Campbell very well," the reporter stated.
"I used to know her better than anyone, but when she moved to Angel Grove our Sophomore year, it was like I ceased to exist," Shauna said bitterly.
"Can't believe she's still bitter about that," Rocky said, shaking his head.
"The minute Aisha moved to Angel Grove, she instantly replaced me with her new best friend, Kimberly," Shauna said with disdain.
"Kimberly Hart, who we know is the pink ranger," the reporter stated.
"Yep and I could see that Aisha really wanted me to like her, but I just couldn't. I pretended everything was okay during my first and only visit. Aisha promised to call me more, but I knew she wouldn't. And I was right. She had moved on so I did too," Shauna said.
"I was her best friend...she could have told me about being a ranger. I wouldn't have told anyone, but she didn't trust me. It hurt for a long time," Shauna whined.
"Ugh, I can't take this anymore," Aisha groaned, as she switched the TV off. Before she had time to lament anymore over her former friend, Tommy's phone went off.
"What's up Hayley?" he asked.
"We've got major problems. You guys need to get down here now," she called.
"We'll be right there," Tommy replied.
"Damn...why do they always attack when I'm eating," Rocky complained, as he started shoveling food into his mouth as fast as he could.
"Because you're always eating," Adam answered. Rocky made a face at him, but was too busy chewing to retort, as they hurried down to the lowest level of the compound.
Ranger Ops
"What's going on Cam?" Hunter asked, as he and the others started quickly filing into Ranger Ops.
"I think Ooze is going for maximum body count, because Los Angeles is under attack in several locations," Cam replied, as he showed them the screens.
"He's trying to split us up as much as possible," Jason said.
"I wish that was our only problem, but I think he may have figured out we're after the zeo crystals. He sent Xinshing, Toxa, and Thrax to KO-35. Andros and Zhane need some serious back up," Hayley said.
"The Astro Megaship has already re-routed there so the Galaxy rangers should almost be there. I've already teleported the blue crystal back here for safe keeping," Cam added.
"If Xin is on KO-35, then they're going to need you," Tommy told the crimson ranger. Hunter nodded.
"Cam...can you teleport our team there?" Hunter asked.
"The device we're using to join the zeo crystal is siphoning a lot of power from the generator right now. It's too risky, but your carrier zord is just as fast as the Astro Megaship. It will have to do," Cam replied, as he stood up.
"Okay, Tommy's team, the Dinos, Overdrive, Wes, and Eric will go to L.A. Hunter's team and the rest of the Space rangers will go to KO-35," Jason said. The hatch opened, as the Phoenix carrier zord, which also housed all their Ninja zords in the lower levels, appeared. The ramp dropped and the two teams sprinted onto the ship, before taking off at light speed.
"It's Morphin Time!" Tommy called.
"Dino Thunder, Power up!"
"Overdrive Accelerate!"
"Time for Time Force!"
"Quantum Power!"
Hayley sighed deeply, as she and the others left behind watched the battle with rapt attention...
