From PFDroids5198: "can you make one about other mind a the blindeye erased? Pacifica, Tambry, maybe even Mrs gleeful? whoever you'd like to do."
Ooh, this is a good one! Who should I choose...hmmm... This one-shot takes place after Headhunters.
Bad Habits
She was always nervous and anxious, but now it seemed the feeling had grown tenfold the moment she had that sack thrown over her head. She could hear a muffled voice that sounded vaguely familiar and some others that weren't, but it didn't matter. Was she being punished again? She nearly cowered at the very thought. No, she didn't want to go to them again - she didn't like not being able to remember things.
She was helped to sit into a chair and the sack was thrown off. She squinted for a moment before the panic set in. No. She was back, the robed society was back, oh no -
"Mrs. Gleeful, what have you seen?"
The woman felt like sobbing. Her body quivered like a frail leaf. "P-Please, no, I-I-I don't want - "
"Speak!"
Shaking even more, she glanced over and spotted her husband on her left. "B-B-Bud, please! I don't want to f-f-f-forget things!"
"Tell us what you have seen!"
She sniffed, tears coming to her eyes as she wrung her hands together. Bud made no move whatsoever to defend her case. Of course he wouldn't. He was one of them, and he liked not being able to remember the tantrums.
The only reason why she wanted to remember them was so one day she could finally stand up to that boy and maybe get that cursed journal as far away as possible. Ever since he had found it, his tantrums had been horrifying and he wasn't the same.
"Mrs. Gleeful, tell us what you have seen."
It was no use. There were too many of them and they wouldn't let her leave until she confessed.
"I-I saw my son...using dark magic with some s-s-sort of amulet. He was throwing things around h-his room and he yelled at me t-t-to clean it up. P-Please don't - "
In moments the memory gun was fired and she couldn't recall why she had any sort of reason to be crying. All she knew was that she felt terrified and hopeless.
"It is unseen."
Sorry it's short, I wasn't sure how long to drag the memory out. I figured Mrs. Gleeful deserved a one-shot of her own.
