The Summer Life

Summary.

16 year old Rachel Barbra Berry was looking forwards to spending the summer with her cousins in California after dealing the the slushie facials and losing Regionals. This was her break before Junior Year. Boy was she wrong. Instead her Dads surprised her by sending her to stay with her childhood friends in The Hamptons. There she helps her best friends out with watching the younger siblings while Mr. and Mrs. Montgomery are busy with work. All the girls will get paid for their work.

On the first day she meets the Montgomery's in house pool boy/Landscaper Noah Puckerman who changes her mind about having a crappy summer, She couldn't help but be attracted to this guy on her first night.

This summer will change her life forever. Enjoy. Oh the OC are Rachel's childhood friends and Rachel's older sister. Also I'm giving Rachel a older sibling. She'll be joining Rachel in two days at the Montgomery house. Her sister also goes to McKinley but she's on the cheerios. She's not in Glee club and she gives Santana and Quinn hell whenever they slushie her. Her sister is going to be a Senior while Rachel is going to be a Junior. They are best friends not just sister.

Her full name is Joelle Seraphina Berry. Alright enjoy.

4. First Offical Date Part 2

Rachel and Puck walked into the restaurant ready to start their first date. Rachel couldn't help but stare at her date. He was so different from her exs. Sure he looked like a badass but he was actually very sweet. He was also a great kisser.

"Noah it's about time you came by. Is this the lovely young lady you were telling us about?" The woman asked who looked in her late 30s. Rachel stared at him.

So he's been talking about me? or maybe it's some other girl he takes here. Rachel thought as she stood next to him.

"Aunt Audrey don't make her running for the hills. I really like her." She smiles blushing.

"Rachel this is my aunt Audrey Puckerman-Carter. She owns this place with my uncle. Aunty this is my date Rachel Berry." Rachel smiles at her.

Audrey smiled kindly at Rachel. "Nice to finally put name to the face. You are very pretty. You did good Noah. Your mother would be very proud."

Rachel stared at him wondering what's that suppose to mean. He shakes his head at his aunt. She was after all his mom's sister.

"Alright I'll show you two to your table. Right this way." Puck grabbed Rachel's hand as they walk towards there table for the evening.

Puck pulls her chair out for her and she smiles up at him as she sat down.

"Thank you. Aren't you a sweet gentlemen." He smiles at her whispering in her ear.

"I aim to please." She blushes smiling up at him. He looked really good to her. He pulls away and sits down.

The waitress walks over to them. "Hello I'm Teagan and I'll be your waitress this evening. Can I get you two something to drink?" She asked giving Puck a flirty smiled.

"Um I'll have a pepsi." She writes it down before looking at Rachel giving her a slight smile.

"I'll have a diet coke." She nods saying that she'll be right back.

"I get the feeling that our waitress is a bit jealous of me right now." Puck chuckles.

"She should be. Your a very attractive girl on a date with a very attractive guy. I don't blame her for being jealous of you." Rachel just blushed before looking at her menu.

"You don't believe me Rachel?" She looked up at him.

"I didn't say anything Noah." He shook his head grabbing ahold of her hand.

"You didn't have to say anything. I saw it in your eyes." She sighs looking down.

"I'm sorry okay? it's just that people at my school don't find me attractive. I sometimes believe it." He grabs her hand.

"Well if I was still in high school and at your school. I would tell all those d bags that they have no idea what there talking about. Nobody slushies my girl."

Rachel was shocked that he called her his girl. Finn or Jesse would never call her that. It was always Rach or babe. Noah's very different.

"You worry too much Rachel. Your exs did you wrong and you think I'm going to be that way. Trust me I'm a grown man and I know how to treat a woman right."

"Really? what about your whole hooking up with Taliah ordeal?" He sighs not really interested in talking about that on his first date with Rachel.

"Look my past with Taliah has nothing to do with how I am now. I'm going to be very serious about being in a relationship." Rachel just stayed quiet.

"Rachel I'm very interested in you. Can we just enjoy our first date?" She nods putting a soft smile on her face.

They both look at the menu then the waitress comes back and they tell them their orders. She says okay taking the menus then leaves.

"So how did you meet the Montgomery sisters? not the younger ones but Taliah, Libby, Samara, Larissa and Sofia?" Rachel sighs.

"We were childhood best friends. They were from Lima Ohio like myself. They moved away when there parents got a new job. We promised each other to never forget our friendship and that we would always call each other. Some how we all broke our promises." She tells him.

"Do you want your friendship with them back?" Rachel nods.

"More then anything. Those girls are like the only thing I had close to having sisters since I'm an only child. It hurts to know that Taliah wishes I never came here."

He didn't want her feeling sad on their first date. He had to assure her that everything was going to be okay. He had to put a smile on her face.

"It's going to be okay Rach. You'll get your friendship on track." She really hopes so.

"What's your two thing in the world you can't live without?" She stared at him like he was crazy.

"My singing voice and my dads." He looked at her. He keeps forgetting that she has two dads. He wants to get know them if this thing works out with him.

"Really I want to hear you sing some point. What are your dads like?" She starts talking about her life to him then asks him questions about his life.

"My life isn't all that eventful. I grew up without my dad around. I took care of my mom and sister mostly. I took the job as a pool guy for the Montgomery during my high school years. They are paying me very well and I always send money to my mom and sister." She thought was so thoughtful of him taking care of his family.

"I'm sorry about your dad. I think it's very sweet that your willing do whatever to take care of your mom and sister." She tells him while taking a sip of her diet coke.

She made a face. "Is there something wrong?" She nodded.

"Yeah it seems that my drink is wrong. I think I got your drink instead." He takes a sip of his own drink and realized that he got Rachel's drink instead. He takes his straw out her drink then switches them putting the staw Rachel had in her drink before putting his straw in his own.

"There all better." She takes a sip and smiles really happy that she's got her drink. She wasn't a big fan of Pepsi.

"Do you sing Noah?" He never admitted to anybody but he does sing. He would sing his sister good night.

"Yeah I actually do sing. I'll sing for you a different time but you have to promise that you'll sing for me." She nods saying that she'll do that.

There food comes and it's very good. Rachel made sure it Vegan friendly and it was.

"Do you have any siblings?" Puck asked her. She nods just thinking about Joelle. Her sister was at cheerleading camp.

"Yeah I have an older sister who will be a Senior once school starts. Her name is Joelle. She's spending the summer with her cheerio friends at cheer camp then I think she's coming here for a little bit then she's going to be at her boyfriend's parents house for the rest of the summer at Martha's Vineyard." He smiles taking a bite of his dinner.

"Do you get along with your sister? What are cheerio friends?" Rachel nods. Sure there are times when she fights with her sister about little things but they always make up.

"There are moments but hello siblings fight. There her cheerleading friends. Our high school cheerleading squad are the McKinley High Cheerios." He nods now getting it.

"So let me guess your not a big fan of cheerleading?" She shook her head. Sure she had the skills to be on the team but she wanted to be out of her sister's shadow.

"That's part of it. I also don't want to be in my sister's shadow. Everybody thinks I should be like her but that's not me. My whole life is not about being popular. My main focus in life is to just be myself and get on Broadway while keeping myself grounded and down to earth. I also hate that If I don't get my way." He liked that about her.

"Sounds like you know so much about yourself. That's pretty cool. Of course people are going to hate when they don't get there way. It's part of life."

She was surprised that he found that cool. Finn and Jesse would just call her high maintenance. Joelle was the same as her when it comes to her future, not getting what she wants and being loud. They were the Berry sisters after all.

"Have you ever been in a relationship or are you the hook up with somebody for a while type of guy?" He stared at her.

"Ouch Berry. Cut a guy below the belt just now." She chuckled.

"To answer your question no I've never been in a relationship. Not that Relationships haven't been on my mind. I just haven't found the right girl to be in a relationship with, I need to keep my eyes opens." He says winking at her.

She blushed as they talked more before finishing their dinner. Puck couldn't take his eyes off the girl in front of him. Sure she was younger but she was alot different then the girls he hooks up with.

"Do I have something on my face?" Rachel asked placing her hand on her face. He found it adorable.

"No I'm just thinking about how cute you are." She blushed.

They don't order dessert and He pays for dinner. When they are finished. They walk out saying goodbye to His aunt then he grabs ahold of Rachel's hand and they get into his car and they drive off somwhere.

Rachel was confused when they pulled up to a beach house.

"Why are we at a beach house?" He ignored her question and pulled up to the driveway turning the car off.

"Welcome to the Montgomery beach house." Rachel stared at him surprised.

"Wh-what are we doing here?" He looked at her.

"We're just hanging out. Remeber it's the summer and there isn't really a curfew. I stay here from time to time when I want to get away from the girls and the little ones. Trent is cool with it. That's why I have a key." Rachel whispered okay.

"Rachel nothing sexual is going to happen while were here. It's our first date. I just want to spend time with you alone. If your not comfortable we can go back to the house."

"No I'm sorry I'm nervous. It's my summer and I should be able to live my life and have fun." He just smiles at her.

They get out of the car and he locks it then they walk into the back there theres sand and take off their shoes and just stand in the sand watching the sky. She looked around at the sky seeing how beautiful it looked as the sunset.

"So are you enjoying our first date so far?" She nods looking at the sky.

"Yeah I really am. I can't believe I've been missing out on so much. Lima Ohio doesn't have any of this." He chuckled.

"Well it's a good thing I'm showing it to you huh?" She smiles up at him nodding. She was a great first date with him.

Rachel looked back at the sky and smiled when she felt his fingers slip through hers. She felt butterflies in her stomach just being this close to him.

"Some of my friends are playing vollyball on the beach tomorrow. You up for being on my team?" She stared up at him.

"I'm not that good at sports. I might let you and your team down." He really didn't care just as long as she was having fun.

"So are you up for it or not?" She thought about it.

"Sure why not but don't get mad at me if I suck and your team loses." He just let go of her hand and starts walking away from her. She smirks running after him and jumps on his back giggling. He smirks and held her by the legs.

"Oh you think your funny don't you." She nodded then squeals when he bends down more that she almost falls off him.

"No don't drop me." She screamed moving so much that they both end up falling in the sand.

He gets up first and picked her up making her giggling as she wraps her legs around his waist. It's a good thing she was wearing shorts under her dress.

She looks down at him smiling. He looks at her kissing her nose making her blush but then she looks up at the sky taking it all in.

"You are so beautiful." She looked back down at him then kisses him sweetly on the lips. He helds her tightly in his arms as they kiss for awhile just like that.
