Summary.

16 year old Rachel Barbra Berry was looking forwards to spending the summer with her cousins in California after dealing the the slushie facials and losing Regionals. This was her break before Junior Year. Boy was she wrong. Instead her Dads surprised her by sending her to stay with her childhood friends in The Hamptons. There she helps her best friends out with watching the younger siblings while Mr. and Mrs. Montgomery are busy with work. All the girls will get paid for their work.

On the first day she meets the Montgomery's in house pool boy/Landscaper Noah Puckerman who changes her mind about having a crappy summer, She couldn't help but be attracted to this guy on her first night.

This summer will change her life forever. Enjoy. Oh the OC are Rachel's childhood friends and Rachel's older sister. Also I'm giving Rachel a older sibling. She'll be joining Rachel in two days at the Montgomery house. Her sister also goes to McKinley but she's on the cheerios. She's not in Glee club and she gives Santana and Quinn hell whenever they slushie her. Her sister is going to be a Senior while Rachel is going to be a Junior. They are best friends not just sister.

5. Trying It Out Maybe? Part 2

In Rachel's POV.

I was wondering if you willing us a shot?" Did he just ask me what I think he just asked me? I have to make sure I'm not actually hearing things.

"You mean an actual relationship like boyfriend and girlfriend?" I asked him. He nods his head. Oh my god he actually asked me if we could be together in a relationship.

"What do you say?" I stared at him unsure what to say. Don't get me wrong Noah is different from Jesse and Finn but I'm scared to get my heart broken again.

"I guess that's a no." Oh god he thinks I'm rejecting him. I'm not trying to do that.

"Noah it's not a no but I'm not so sure it's a yes either." He looks at me.

"You told me all about these girls and older woman you've been in the past and I really don't fit the bill." He pulls me close to him.

"Rachel I'm not like that guy anymore. When I say I want a relationship? I really mean it. I want to be that guy for you." That sounds sweet but I'm still unsure.

" Trust me I really do want to be with you Noah but I'm scared that I'm going to get my heart broken again. Jesse and Finn really hurt me." He kisses my forehead.

"I'm not like those high school boys that can't seem to decided what they want so they have to cheat. I wasn't cheating when I was with those girls because I wasn't in a relationship with any of them. With you I would be faithful to you. I don't want anybody else." I stared into his eyes seeing if he was telling the truth.

"What happens when I go back to my home town? what's going to happen to us then?"

"That depends, I have to know first is there an us?" I cleared my throat really thinking about it then looked into his eyes.

"Can you please answer my question first?" He sighs grabbing my hands.

"We'll make it work. I'll even visit you and you can visit me too. Your not like any other girl Rachel Berry and that's what I like about you. I like that you don't put up with half of my crap. I want us to work if there's an us. I'm willing to really be a boyfriend to you. Please give us a chance." Wow he looks really sure.

"You won't cheat while I'm back in Lima?" He shook his head no.

"No I won't cheat on you. I want to see where this goes between us. Are you saying that you want this?" He says grinning with hope. I really do want to be witn him but I'm still not sure.

"Can you give me two days to give you an answer?" He says sure looking upset.

"Noah I just need two days. I promise that I'll give you an answer." He just said fine pulling away from me. I start to grab his hand but he just pulls it away. I just shake my head walking away and call Taliah to come get me. It's obvious that he doesn't even want to be around me for the rest of the night.

I wait out front for Taliah to come pick me up. I felt arms around my waist and scream struggling to get away from him.

"It's just me Rachel. Relax" It was Noah. I turned around staring into his eyes pulling away from him.

"Where are you going Rachel?" He asked me. Was he serious? He just pushed me away after I told him to give me two days to answer his question.

"I'm going back to the house. I hurt you so this date might aswell be over for the evening." I heard a hunk and turned around seeing Taliah waving me over.

"Are you coming or not Rachel?" I looked at Taliah then looked at Noah.

"Don't go. I'm sorry for pulling away from you. I had more plans for us tonight." I think I need some time to think.

"Yeah I'm coming Taliah. I'll see you back the house." I kissed his cheek then got into the car putting my seat belt on and stared at him as we drove out of the parking lot.

"What's going on with you and Puckerman?" I sigh looking at her.

"He asked me to be his girlfriend and I told him to give me two days to think about it." Taliah looked at me.

"Are you for real Rachel Barbra Berry? he's never asked anybody to be his girlfriend in his life. He probably thinks your rejecting him and you have no idea how to tell him gently so you need two days to think of a way. Maybe we should go back and told him that you've changed your mind." I shook my head no.

"No Taliah we aren't going back there. I do need two days to think about it. Not only am I scared of getting hurt but I'm worried that your going to go crazy on me again for liking him." She sighs looking at the road.

"Rachie I was being stupid and jealous over a guy that clearly found what he wanted which wasn't me. He wants you and it seems like you don't want him. Do even you want to be his girlfriend or are you just leading him on until the summer over?" Was she serious? I'm not that type of person.

"Really Taliah? I'm not the type of person that leads anybody on. I'm the girl that gets used and cheated on. I do like him alot but I put myself out there but I always end up crying. I'm not trying to be that way anymore." She stops at a red light and looks at me.

"I understand okay? I haven't been easy to get along with since you got here and I'm sorry. But don't worry about me. He's all yours." I stared at her.

"Just follow your heart and don't worry about getting hurt right now. Just enjoy it. Live for once in your life. Nobody is judging you." We start moving again and make our way back to the house.

"Just sleep it and see how your feeling. Just don't ignore him forever. You're going to be us all summer and so is he." She does have a point. He is going to be around.

Two Days Later.

Rachel was sleeping in the comfortable bed at the Montgomery house when somebody opens the door slowly then closed the door and walks over to the bed climbing into o it and wraps their arm around her. Rachel stirs in her sleep feeling somebody holding her. She opened her eyes slowly and turned her head seeing her older sister Joelle smiling at her.

"Hey little sister." Rachel stared at her sister with a tired smile.

"Hey older sister. How was cheer camp?" She asked in her sleepy state. Joelle just smiled taking off her shoes before joining her sister under the covers.

"Same as always. I'm Co. Captain now with Santana Lopez. I hate that girl with a passion. She was talking about you again." Rachel frowns. Santana had something against her but she had no idea what it was. She just slushied her and called her cruel things to make her cry.

"Don't let her get to you Joelle. Pretty you'll be off to college after your Senior year is over then I'll have my Senior year and we won't have to deal with her."

"Rach she was talking about our family. About how we don't have a mother because she never wanted us." Rachel stayed quiet.

"Have you ever thought about what your mother looked like?" Joelle sighs nodding her head. They didn't have the same mothers.

"Everyday I wondered but atleast you had to speak to Shelby. You know I saw her last week at the Lima Bean cafe." She looked at her sister.

"Okay why are you telling me this? she told me herself that she wanted us to admir each other from afar. She didn't want to be mother to me so what did she want?"

Joelle hands her a card. "She says that she regrets it big time after I told her off for hurt you the way she did. She regrets asking Jesse to spy for her just to check on you which she should. She also wants you to call her when your ready." Rachel looked at the card when Shelby's name and number on it.

"She also told me to tell you to take your time because she's going to be around for awhile." She just stayed quiet.

"So enough about your birth mother. Let's talk about the guy trouble your having. Taliah told me everything." Rachel sighs not in the mood to talk about it.

"Don't do that Rachel. You've never been this way when it comes to Jesse or Finn. It seems like you have some stronger feelings for Noah Puckerman. Is it the age difference or the fact that you don't want to get your heart broken?" She was afraid of getting hurt again.

"What I've heard, Noah isn't like those guys. Sure he's been with alot of woman but if he's never been in a relationship with somebody before and he asked you? I think you should give it a chance. See where it goes." She listened to her sister speak but she was still unsure.

"Can I atleast see a picture of him before I think what you should do?" Rachel reaches for her phone and looks for the the best she took with him. She shows her and Joelle takes a good look at the guy her sister might start a relationship with.

"Woah he's drop dead gorgeous. He's a great with you?" She smiles nodding.

"He's not pressuring for sex is he?" She gave her sister a look.

"What? I know how you are. You have your 25 rule and I want to make sure he respects it." She tells her sister that Noah knows all about that and he hasn't been pressuring her.

"So is he a great kisser?" She blushed not wanting to tell Joelle that. She doesn't ask her if Marcus was a great kisser. She didn't want to know about her sister's love life in that way. It was too much for her at school. They make out all the time.

"I take it that's a yes. I'm proud of you little sister. He's a good looking guy and I think you should give it a shot." She yawns then looks at her sister.

"What if he doesn't want to give it a shot after I kind of turned him down?" Joelle pulled her sister close after handing her back the phone.

"Then maybe he's not really ready himself. Don't let this whole thing ruin your summer." Rachel rests her head on her shoulder and they rest a little bit then get up and Rachel has breakfast.

Joelle spotted Noah as he was outside talking to two guys. She pokes her sister in the arm.

"Today is the day little sister. Go tell him what your answer is." Rachel looked at herself she was wearing gray short shorts with a black tank top and a black bra under her shirt. She had nothing on her feet.

"Now? but I don't even have makeup on." Joelle rolls her eyes.

"You hardly ever wear makeup because you don't need. Now go." Rachel sighs walking outside taking a deep breath.

Outside with Rachel and Puck.

Rachel stared at Noah as he talked with his friends laughing. One of his friends noticed her and points. He looks at her and sighs telling his friends that he'll wait for them at the car.

They walked off and he walked over to her slowly.

"Good morning." He says awkwardly.

"Good morning Noah. Are you going somewhere?" He looked where his friends walked off then back at her.

"I was going to hang up since I had don't have to work today. I got another day off. Did you need something?" She frowns.

"Never mind you go off with your friends. I'm sorry that I'm keeping you away from them." She went to leave when he grabbed her hand.

"Are you going to give me my answer now?" She looked at him.

"I thought you weren't interested now?" He clears his throat.

"I will admit I was a little hurt that you just left me there on our date but I understood that you need some time to think. So what's your answer?"

Rachel looked into his eyes really thinking about everything and now it was time to tell him her answer.

"What was your question?" He looked at her.

"What?" She wasn't going to make it easy me again.

"You heard me, what was your question so I can answer it." He chuckled.

"Fine you want do it that way. You know I don't remeber what it was anymore." He joked. Rachel just stared at him.

"I don't remeber my answer either. Forget I even came out here. Have a good day with your boys." He pulled her closer looking down at her.

"Damn woman I was only joking with you. Don't play me like that. Right now you mean alot more to me then my friends." She just stared into his eyes then looked away.

"Will you be my girlfriend Rachel Berry? I'm not planning on hurt you. Don't compare me to those guys anymore because I'm not them." Rachel bites her bottom lip looking back at him and spoke.

"Yes I will be your girlfriend." Puck stared at her for a second.

"You mean that?" She wrapped her arms around his neck staring up at him with a smile.

"Yes I mean it. I want to see where this goes." He grins picking her up. She giggles wrapping her legs around his waist.

"Your mine now baby?" She nods.

"Yes I'm yours now." He leans in kissing her passionately. Rachel grins against his lips as he holds onto her deepening the kiss.

Joelle, Libby, Samara, Larissa, Taliah and Sofia all smile at the new couple as they keep making out in the middle of the backyard.

Puck puts her back down slowly still kissing her. They pull back slowly then stared into each others eyes smiling and laughed.

"Your my girl now. I'm so happy I can kiss you more." She hits his arm laughing. He rubs his arm glaring at her playfully.

"Oh come on I didn't hit you hard." He shook his head pulling her close once again and kissed her nose. She grins feeling good about her decision.

"I'll see you later okay?" She pouts.

"No pouting. I'll be back later. I promised my boys that we would chill. If girls are going to be around. I'm going to be nice and tell them that I'm in a relationship which is true now that you made the smart choice." She giggled and kissed his lips.

"Go have fun with your friends" He kisses her a few more times saying that he'll see her later and walks to Chris's car and gets in the passanger seat with a smile on his face as they drive off.

Rachel stood there for a few minutes with a smile turned around and saw her sister and her friends grinning at her. She walks back into the house and they all hug her.

"You two offically together now?" Libby asked her.

"Yes we're together now as a couple." All the girls squealed so happy for her. Rachel giggles and they all talk together ready to enjoy the day. Rachel kept thinking about her boyfriend not knowing that he was also thinking about her.
