"Are you being serious now, Natsume?" Mikan stood up from her seat as she stared at Natsume. "As serious as I can be." Natsume smirked as he began to close on Mikan. Kaito blocked his way from getting closer to Mikan, Kaito's lips were pursed as his narrowed eyes looked at Natsume.
Natsume grit his teeth as annoyance flashed in his eyes as he was blocked. "Can you get out of the way?" Kaito then crossed his arms as defiance was shown in his eyes. "Why should I?" Natsume grunted in annoyance, "That's a great question, why should you? Because you're a lowly person? Or because you mean nothing?" Kaito's eyes narrowed further, "Mean nothing? Of course I mean something, everyone means something." Natsume scoffed as he too crossed his arms. "You, in particular, mean nothing. The reason why you actually have worth in you is because of Mikan. Everything you have been given was all because of Mikan. If she hadn't introduced you to the world, you would've just been another easily forgotten person. You mean nothing. You have no worth."
"That's enough, Hyuuga!" Mikan shouted. Her hands were curled into fists and her cheeks were flushed red as anger was visible in her eyes. Kaito held his head down making his hair fall over them which created a shadow over his face, and his hands by his side were in shaky fists. "What gives you the right to say he is worth nothing, huh? At least he has created a career for his own self, because unlike you, he was not born into a rich family. So he has to work hard to create a name for himself, while you get it easier due to your family name that is already well known. So don't give him shit!" Mikan slammed her hand down on the desked as she stared at Natsume with wide vivid eyes.
"Why would you go so far for this commoner!" Natsume yelled. It was Mikan's turn to cross her arms and scoff in disbelief. "What are we? In the 19th century? Grow up! Why I would go so far for this "commoner" is because I love him. That's why, because I love Kaito. So just move on from me already," Mikan rubbed her temple as she sighed in exasperation.
Natsume stared coldly at Kaito before pointing at him, "It's all because of you that everything has fallen apart!" Kaito then finally looked up. His eyes were cold and a smile was upon his face. Natsume was taken aback, he was for sure that he was crying underneath his hair with how much he was shaking so vigorous. "Yeah sure, it's my fault that Mikan as chosen me over an egoistic, self-center and selfish ass person like you. I mean, I can't blame her. Who would want to love a person with such a vile and disgusting personality as yours?"
Kaito then turned around and embraced MIkan who was still angry. "It's okay, Mikan. No need to feel anger for me. You looking angry doesn't suit you," Kaito peppered Mikan's cheek with kisses. "But!" Kaito hushed Mikan before smiling gently at her. "It's fine, Mikan. His words doesn't bother me." Kaito rested his chin on top of Mikan's chin. "As long as I have you with me, nothing will bring me down."
Mikan stayed in silence as she peered up at Kaito. After a few minutes passed by, Mikan let a sigh out before sliding her arms around Kaito's waist. "Fine, you win Kaito." Kaito smiled before pressing a kiss upon Mikan's forehead. "However!" Mikan pulled herself out of Kaito's embrace to walk closer to Natsume. "Your behavior was intolerable. You have no right to say such things to Kaito or to anyone else. Hopefully I won't have to ever see this kind of behavior ever again, Hyuuga." With that, Mikan turned her back to him and walked back to her seat.
The bell rung signaling that class was over. The students stood up from their seats and began to pack their things for the next class. "Natsume-kun~" Luna cooed lovingly out as she latched onto Natsume's arm only for him to shrug her off and give her a cold glare. "Don't touch me." Natsume turned around and began to walk off. Luna watched him walk away with hurt eyes before anger registered into her eyes, she bit her thumb to prevent herself from yelling at Natsume. With an irritated huff, she turned her back and walked the other way.
Second period has already been done and passed and now it was third period. Luna couldn't concentrate on her work as her mind was filled with none other than Natsume. So many questions wete plaguing her mind as she kept on thinking about Natsume, why was he all of suddenly so cold and distant with her? Ever since yesterday when Mikan and her group have joined their class, Natsume has become all of suddenly gone so cold and distant. It made her worry, would he leave her? A pit of anxiety formed in her stomach making her fidget nonstop. No matter what people thought of her, she loves Natsume.
Despite her tendency to flirt with other boys, she was just any other girl who dreams big. She just wanted a handsome man whom she could love and never let go of, and that was Natsume. She loves Natsume. So much she was willing to please him, from her personality to what she wears, it was all for him. She would do anything for Natsume. That was how much her love was for him. So to think that he might leave her, she was scared. Luna then shook her head, she needs to focus! All of these questions can be asked later by the one who's plaguing her mind. Yeah... Save it for later.
Lunch has begun. Luna didn't stick around in the cafeteria too long, she needed to find Natsume. She walked out from the cafeteria to go find Natsume. Luna found him under a sakura tree, she stood over him as he slept with a manga over his face. "What do you what?" Luna kept quiet as she stared impassively at him. Natsume, becoming irritated with the silence, took off his manga before glaring up at Luna and asking his question again. "I said, what do you want?" Luna's eyes then narrowed down, "Why have you been so cold and distant from me?" Natsume scoffed, "If that's just what you came here for, you can leave." Natsume then placed his manga back down on his face. Luna grit her teeth, as much as she loves him, his attitude currently right now was just so irritating. She bend down and snatching the manga off from his face. "I want an answer, Natsume!" He gave his coldest glare to her, "I said leave!" Luna glared back at him with defiance. "No! Not until I get my answer!" Natsume propped himself as annoyance filled upon his face. "You're such a pesky annoyance!"
Luna stumble back a bit, hurt visible upon her face. "You want your answer? I'll give it to you then. It's because you've become useless to me. I've gotten bored of playing with you. Boring things get tossed aside. They have no worth to me no more, useless things like you are garbage." Luna's eyes glazed over with tears as his hurtful words rushed through her mind. "So leave me be!" Luna's tears rushed down her cheeks as sobs tore from her throat. "You're a jerk!" She cried out as the sobs wrecked through her body. "You're such a jerk!" Luna threw the manga at Natsume who blocked himself from the manga hitting his face. "Kaito was right, you do have such a vile personality!" Natsume glared even harder at her as anger registered in his eyes at the mention of Kaito. "If I'm so vile then leave me be then, useless garbage!" Natsume shouted at her as he got up. "But, I couldn't help but love you." Luna cried as she wiped her tears with the back of her hands. "I loved you..." Luna looked at Natsume, who still looked so coldly at her, with gleaming tears in her eyes and a heartbroken expression on her face. "I loved you!" She repeated for the third time before turning around and running from him.
"Stupid annoying bitch," Natsume muttered as he settled back down on the grass and placing the manga back on his face.
