Naruto and its characters belong to Misashi Kishimoto.
Sayuri and other characters that have not and will not appear on the show or manga are completely original.
Thank you and enjoy!
Sayuri stood up and looked at her hands, curling and uncurling her fingers feeling much better. "Did I die?" She asked the women around her.
"For a second." Tsunade replied with a smile, but we were all too stubborn to let you go like that.
Sayuri looked back at Karin who was taking deep breaths and staring up at the night sky. "Thank you." Sayuri said, trying to keep her tone as neutral as possible.
Karin rolled her head and sighed. "Don't thank me, thank Sasuke. He's the one who told me to come here."
Sasuke...Sayuri thought, her face taking on a more serious expression. He's alive...She felt as if a weight had been lifted off her shoulders. But what about Naruto? And just as that thought crossed her mind the God Tree disappeared. Sayuri and the rest looked up in apprehension watching as Madara levitated into the air.
"I can sense Naruto..." She sighed, behind her Tsunade smiled in relief. Sayuri's jaw felt slightly open at the next thing she felt. "Madara has the Sage of Six Path's power!" Sayuri exclaimed. Brown eyes fixed on the levitating man, his chakra feeling eerily similar to that of Obito's when he had absorbed the Juubi, yet there was something else. Something doesn't feel quite the same...Her brows dipped slightly as she tried to figure out what exactly she was sensing in Madara that she hadn't sense in Obito.
"Well," Karin began "...welcome back." Karin finished sarcastically. "That man has been kick all of our asses."
"Sayuri..." she turned to Tsunade when she called. "Go. They probably need you."
Sayuri hesitated at first but then remembered Hinode's words. Everything she had done up until fighting Madara, had all been her own power. She need to stop doubting herself and she had to start acting, her hands clenched at her sides as she directed her attention towards the two familiar chakras ahead. "Yes, ma'am!"
Genjutsu
"I see..." Madara smirked as he looked down at Sasuke and Naruto from his spot in the sky. "So you manged to awaken the Rinnegan..." he spoke referring to Sasuke's left eye. "And you have the Sage's chakra." Madara noted as he looked at Naruto. "However, I have both of those things. It's going to take a lot more to take me down."
Sasuke and Naruto glanced at one another, while one smirked the later grinned as they got ready for their fight.

Sayuri sprinted across the battle field, anger slowly rising within her as she passed several ninja injured or dead. She bit her lip as she steadily got closer. Her chakra was replenished but not completely, there was only so much Karin could do about that. She reached behind her, digging in her pouch trying to find the small box she knew she placed in there.
The brunette grinned when her fingers came in contact with it. Quickly pulling it out she popped open the lid and took one round soldier pill. Immediately she felt her chakra spike. She felt stronger and gradually increased her pace.
I'm coming, guys...

Naruto and Sasuke struck Madara from both sides. The blonde with his Rinnegan and Sasuke with his chidori, however, it didn't work. Madara had been able to use his shadow during their fight and effectively evaded the attack.
Sasuke, using his Rinnegan, was able to see where they went wrong. He used his shadow as a replacement! His eyes shifted behind him and caught the man as he leapt forward. "Over there!"
"Sasuke, I'll take care of this one, you go after the other one!" Naruto ordered. Sasuke tried to use his Rinnegan again but at the last moment he flinched, as a limitation became apparent to the young Uchiha.
Madara looked over his shoulder and smiled. Looks like if I get far away enough he can't use the Rinnegan. He chuckled. I'm starting to see how your left eye works, Sasuke. Bellow him Sasuke glared at the man as if knowing exactly what he was thinking.
Naruto watched Madara head further away from them and panicked. "Hurry, Sasuke! In front of him—!"
"Kakashi-sensei, behind you!" Sayuri called out as she leapt over a the rubble. The man turned, too late to defend himself as Madara reached for his eye plucking it out with ease. Kakashi cried out as Sayuri threw a kunai at the Uchiha.
The man easily caught it and grinned about to mock the Marihasha when Sasuke appeared before him slicing him in half. Madara stared at Sasuke wide eyed for a mere second, before the shocked expression turn into a mocking one. The man opened up a portal using Kamui to dissapear into another dimension leaving the ninja behind.
"Shit!" Sasuke cursed, and as soon as he was able to catch his footing, Sakura appeared in the battle field seemingly out of thin air.
"Sakura!" Kakashi exclaimed in surprise still holding his bleeding eye but relieved that his student was back.
"Kakashi-sensei..." the girl opened her eyes and gasped. "Sasuke!" her gaze shifted to the brunette standing beside their teacher. "Sayuri! You're ok!"
"Yeah..." the brunette replied slowly. "...What's going on?" Sayuri asked confused as to where Sakura had come from.
"She was in the other dimension. Obito took her and Naruto there to keep them away from Madara." Kakashi replied. "How are things over there?" he asked the rosette.
Sakura's attention went returned to her teacher's, she gasped and scrambled to her feet alarmed at the what she saw. "What happened?!" she demanded, the medic in her taking over as she reached the injured jounin.
"It happened in an instant. Madara just showed up and took it." He replied trying to cover it but was quickly.
"Let me see!" the medic hissed pulling the man's hand away from his face.
"Sorry..." Kakashi replied sheepishly. "What happened to Obito? Madara went into that dimension using Kamui as soon as he got my eye."
"I-I don't know. I just suddenly found myself here." She concentrated on healing her teachers eye but quickly froze as a minute went by.
Sayuri who had been watching the medic work noticed the rosette's stiff posture. "Sakura?" she asked, gently placing a hand on the girls shoulder to try to get her attention back. "What is it?"
"We're in big trouble!" Sakura blurted. "Obito couldn't even move and Madara is going to take his Rinnegan!"
Sayuri pulled back in shock and Sasuke moved closer, the new information was concerning. "Don't let your guard down! He could come back at any time!" The Uchiha ordered. Sayuri agreed, and bit her thumb running it through another seal she had on her wrist, summoning her katana to her. She gripped the metal and looked around her trying to catch any irregularities.
"Good to know you're alive." Sayuri said not making eye contact with the teen beside her. Sasuke turned to her then and nodded. "Thank you...for sending Karin." She added, as she scanned the torn landscape.
Sasuke kept his gaze on her, while all she did was keep hers off of him. "Believe it or not, I meant what I said when we were in the village." Sayuri paused for a second, and turned to him as she recalled how he had said that he wasn't going to let anyone hurt her. Unknown to them their interaction was being observed by sharp green eyes. Their attention was suddenly drawn south as Naruto quickly made his way towards them.
"What happened to his shadow?" Asked Sasuke as the blonde landed before them..
"I left him with a shadow clone and used the Hermit's rods to keep him from moving." The blonde grinned then turned to Kakashi and Sakura.
"Naruto..." Sakura sighed, her green eyes softening when she saw that the blonde was doing well.
Naruto turned to the medic then shifted his gaze to the injured Kakashi. He stepped forward, brow furrowed as if in deep thought. "Sakura, can I do something?" the blonde asked as he pulled her hand off their teacher and quickly replaced it with his own.
"What are you trying to do, Naruto?" Sayuri asked the Uzumaki, in concern. Last time she checked he wasn't a medic.
Naruto merely laughed. "It's ok!" he pulled his hand off and grinned down at his teacher. "Kakashi-sensei try opening your eye." The jounin slowly did as he was told and was shocked at the fact that he could see perfectly and felt no pain. Sakura gasped and Sayuri leaned forward to get a better look.
"No way!" The rosette exclaimed. "How did you do that?!" She asked the blonde amazed at the fact that Kakashi had a brand new eye.
Naruto laughed. "Well...It's hard to explain. It's like I took a part of Kakashi-senei and kinda—"
"I said not to let your guard down, Naruto." Sasuke scolded.
"What?!" he exclaimed. "You never told me that!"
Sakura huffed. "It's not the time for that! Naruto, tell me about the eye!"
"You're more worried about how he regenerated Kakashi-sensei's eye than you are about the fact that Madara could come out at any moment with two Rinnegans?!" Sayuri scolded Sakura who turned to her, hands on hips.
"Kakashi-sensei had no eye just a moment ago and then Naruto grew one for him in a matter of seconds! He needs to explain this!" Sakura replied pointing at their teacher who unbeknownst to them had been observing the conversation with a slight sense of reminisce.
Sasuke sighed, annoyed by the matter and Naruto laughed nervously. "Eh...well Sakura, Sayuri...maybe we should focus on Madara for now."
"Shut it, Naruto!" the two girls replied in unison.
Naruto took a comical step back, hands up in an appeasing manner. "What did I do?!" the blonde whined.
"Focus, Naruto!" Sasuke ordered the blonde much to his dismay. Their bickering, to Kakashi, brought a sense of nostalgia.
"Now I'd like for you to tell us a little about yourselves." Their instructor said while sitting on the railing of the roof, hands crossed, and any expression in his face invisible to the eye.
"Like what?" Naruto asked after a couple seconds of silence.
"You know…the usual. Your favorite thing…what you hate most," his visible eye closed as he shrugged. "Dreams ambitions, that sort of thing."
"Help us out here sensei. You go first." Naruto said.
"That's right; after all you are a complete stranger to us." Sakura agreed, leaning forward, readying herself for a story.
"Oh…me? My name is Kakashi Hatake. I don't have many likes or dislikes. As for my dreams for the future…they're none of your business. And I have lots of hobbies."
Sayuri blinked at her mentor, a brown eyebrow raised. "All he really told us was his name." She heard Sakura whisper; Naruto nodded his bright yellow head in agreement.
"Now it's your turn, starting with you on the right." Kakashi gestured to the orange clad ninja before him.
"Me, right?" the blonde asked pointing at himself. "My name is Naruto Uzumaki! What I like is instant cup ramen!" he fixed his headband slightly. "What I like even more is when Iruka-sensei treats me to Ichiraku ramen! What I hate is the three minute wait after I pour in the boiling water. My dream is to become Hokage! Then all the villagers will have no choice but accept and acknowledge me!"
Kakashi turned to look at Naruto. The blonde's who's chakra was much greater than before.
"My name is Sasuke Uchiha. There are plenty of things I hate, not that it matters considering that there is almost nothing I like. It seems pointless to talk about dreams, that's just a word…But what I do have is ambition. I plan to restore my clan, and kill…a certain someone." The raven haired boy finished of with an intense glare.
His gaze shifted to Sasuke, who looked all around him trying to figure out where their enemy would come from.
"I'm Sakura Haruno. My favorite thing is…well it's not a thing, it's a person…" Sayuri watched as Sakura glanced back at Sasuke and giggled turning a light shade of pink. "Umm…my dream is…" She turned a dark shade of red and buried her face in her hands. "My hobbies are…" she glances back at Sasuke once more and giggled the blush on her face deepening.
Kakashi turned to Sakura who attentively listened to Sasuke as he caught up Naruto on what had happened while he was away.
"Umm…I'm Sayuri Marihasha…"she started as she played with the sleeve of her outfit. "Let's see…I like apples! And taking walks around the village." she laughed. "What I hate….that's a tough one, I don't really hate any-wait… I hate it when people call me Lady, it annoys me. Umm…my dream is…to become a strong konoichi so that I can take back what once belonged to my clan." She scratched her head and smiled.
He looked at Sayuri who turned to Naruto and bopped him on the head when he asked if they knew where Madara was going to appear from next.
Naruto...Kakashi thought. You already surpassed Hokage, and now that you've become a hero you still want to become one.
"Obito said that if Madara get's his eyes on his Rinnegan then it's all over." Sakura's voice rang out loud and clear. The medic turned to Naruto, telling him what Obito told her while she was with him. Smiling at the blonde when he understood what could happen.
Sakura, I think your feelings for Sasuke have changed since that time. Even if you still care about him. It's probably a different feeling now. You still care about someone who tried to kill you. You're a kind girl.
He turned to Sayuri who approached Sasuke, slight concern on her face. "Hey, are you feeling ok? I mean, your eye..." she asked referring to his closed left eye. Kakashi watched as the two gravitated towards one another subtlety.
Sayuri, you've become a wonderful konoichi. More so than what I believe you thought you could be. You still doubt yourself from time to time but you're definitely one of the finest. You've grown from that ten year old I first met, and now you have to deal with feelings that you once overlooked.
"Nothing of concern." was Sasuke's reply. The teen adopted a t more relaxed posture around the brunette, while Sayuri's voice was slightly warmer when she instructed the Uchiha not to strain himself.
And Sasuke...your dream was to kill Itachi. Now that he's dead what is your goal? Where are you trying to go...? Despite being your teacher I was unable to understand you. And I'm still trying to figure it out.
"Sasuke what's your current dream?" The four teens turned to Kakashi then. Naruto, Sakura and Sayuri turned their attention to Sasuke who continued to focus on his former teacher.
"You said, 'becoming Hokage,' what did you really mean by that?" Sakura asked, uncertain of whether she wanted to hear the answer.
The other three waited patiently for Sasuke to say something. He looked at each of them, eyes lingering just a second longer on the brunette, but when he gave no indication of speaking anytime soon, Kakashi spoke again. "It might be destiny that team 7 is together once again. Sasuke if you don't want to tell us what you're actually thinking now, that's fine. However the fact that we were once Team 7 doesn't change, correct?" Sakura, Sayuri, and Naruto all faced Sasuke. "He's coming."
The four teenagers turned to the empty spot that their teacher was staring at. "Do you remember your first mission, snatching the bells?" Kakashi asked. "You haven't forgotten my lesson, right?"
Sakura smiled. "Yeah!"
"Of course! TEAMWORK!" the blonde exclaimed.
Sayuri smirked and nodded, beside her Sasuke hn'd.
"Well then..." The area before them started to warp as Madara jumped along with Obito. "Would you consider dying together teamwork as well?"
"Obito!" Naruto called out but received no response other than a chuckle from the Black Setsu that governed half of the man's body.
"Unfortunately, Obito is no more. I took over his body. Apparently he wanted to make up for his past mistakes. Deep inside his heart he was counting on you all to continue. Just like a kid...Isn't that selfish? Like a spoiled brat."
Madara looked from Sasuke, to Sayuri, to Naruto, and finally to Sakura. The rosette gasped and took a step back, feeling the amount of power radiating from the man. Jade green eyes shifted to the backs of Naruto, Sasuke, and Sayuri, recalling how she felt when she thought she had finally caught up with them. The reserve seal on her forehead slowly releasing.
"Sakura!" Naruto called out before the others realized what was going on. The medic was rushing in heading straight to Madara.
I won't stand back anymore! Sakura gritted her teeth. "I'll create a diversion you three go on ahead!"
"Wait!" Sayuri exclaimed watching as she jumped forward only to have Madara stab her with a black rod.
Sayuri gasped and leapt towards the man as well. Sakura on the other hand was still able to move and lifted her arm readying to punch. Behind them Sasuke emitted his lighting chakra in the form of a sword. Sakura pushed through but her fist met with an invisible wall, unable to touch Madara at all. Sasuke and Naruto rushed towards the two figuring out what Sayuri had seen before them.
Naruto quickly pulled Sakura back, just as Sayuri slashed at the empty space between the rosette and Madara. She seemed to be pushing hard against an invisible opponent but was sent flying back along with the blonde, whose foot came in contact with something hard. He looked as if he was kicking someone or something back. Sasuke appeared in front of Sayuri and slashed at nothing but still hitting someone before he too was thrown back.
Sayuri quickly formed five seals and fell on her knees, palms flat on the brown dirt. "Earth Wall!"
A wall of rock rose between the Team 7 and Madara. There was a loud crash that came from the other side of the wall that made it tremble under the impact, but it stood firm.
"Sakura!" the blonde turned to the girl in his arms in concern.
"I'm fine." she replied, the wound on her abdomen already fully healed.
"Naruto!" Sasuke called out as he stood, Sayuri just behind him.
Naruto leaned away from Sakura, watching as Sayuri's wall slowly crumbled, lettting them see a smug Madara standing before them. Behind him, Black Setsu who grinned back at the team of five. "Yeah, I know! There's more of them."
Sasuke turned to Sayuri who pointed her katana away from Madara at an empty spot to the left. "Can you see them?" Sasuke asked the Marihasha who shook her head.
She pointed at her eyes with her free hand. That's when he noticed that her eyes weren't their usual brown hues, but rather a light and a dark green. "I can sense them. They're like..." she paused trying to figure out a way to describe what she felt. "...Like blips...things that don't belong as part of the earth. They have no real connection to the land aside from the fact that they're on it."
Sasuke turned to look at Madara with his Rinnegan. There's four of them now...but how?!
"We've played enough for tonight!" the man said and quickly rose to the sky. Several black orbs flew towards him as he reached his peak height. The man clapped his hands together and smiled as he looked down at everyone below him.
"What's he trying to do?" asked Kakashi as he readied himself for the next attack
This technique...Sayuri thought, noticing something familiar about it. Shit! Sayuri stepped back in panic. "It's Nagato's Planetary Devastation technique!" Sayuri informed to which Naruto froze recalling what had happened. The earth began to shake. Rapidly chunks of rock flew to each of the orbs that surrounded Madara forming large masses of rock.
"They're bigger than before!" Naruto exclaimed.
"Forget about that! His shadows are still here!" Sasuke replied, eyes on the ground whilst everyone looked to the sky.
"They're coming!" Sayuri yelled out, her voice rising in pitch in mild panic.
Sasuke gritted his teeth. "The shadows are too!" Sayuri shifted her gaze to the ground, felling the four shadows quickly approach them.
Naruto quickly made three shadow clones that headed out. "I got them!" the blonde said as his clones faced off against the shadows. The real Naruto formed a rasengan using the kyubi's chakra and threw it towards the center making a couple of the massive rocks that were falling from the sky, explode.
Crap! Sayuri cursed and formed a single seal, a dome of wind surrounding Naruto, Sakura, and Kakashi protecting them from the falling debris. She looked up to the sky and watched Sasuke using his Susanoo to slice the rocks apart. "There's to many of them..." she whispered.
Naruto, having heard her looked towards the sky in worry. This is bad...he thought. Naruto rose his right hand above his head producing several rasen-shurikens. "Sayuri lower the wind barrier."
The brunette turned to Naruto gaping at him as if he had grown a second head. "Are you kidding me?!"
"With these I'll be able to destroy them all, don't worry!" Sayuri looked up at the blonde who smiled down at her. With a reluctant nod she released the jutsu and the orbs hovering above Naruto rose higher still. "OK!" he yelled. "Stand right behind me!" the blonde threw the spinning orbs at the boulders being mindful of Sasuke.
Sasuke on the other hand stopped in midair looking at Madara as the man faced the moon and watched as it reflected the sharingan back down at them. Shit! This is bad! With that he turned around and sped back down towards his former team.
"Sasuke don't come down to fast or the Rasen-Shuriken will hit you too!" Naruto warned but Sasuke ignored him and evaded the orbs before landing behind them all causing the ground to tremble below them. "You also don't have to make so much noise when you land, bastard!"
"Shut up and stay still!" Sasuke replied as his Susanoo enveloped them all.
They all watched as a dome of purple and black shrouded them. "What's happening?" Sayuri asked but received no answer until Naruto suddenly froze about to head out again but was quickly pulled back by Sasuke.
"Naruto, not now!" the Uzumaki looked ready to retort but Sasuke continued. "Don't go outside now. Without the Susanoo I created with my eyes you'll be affected by this genjustu too."
"Genjutsu...?" Sakura asked.
Sayuri frowned in concern. "Does that mean he already activated the Infinate Tsukuyomi?" she asked and Sasuke nodded in affirmative.
"His shadows are also outside, if they kill the two of us, it really is all over." Sasuke added. "We need to wait for a chance." When Naruto calmed down he turned his attention outside. While the others couldn't see it he was able to watch as Madara summoned the God Tree again and had the people on the outside captured and enveloped in cocoons to feed the tree with their chakra. He frowned. So far he could see no way out of it.
"Sasuke..." Sakura asked. "Can you tell us what's going on outside?"
"Why would you need to know? There's nothing you can do now." he replied coldly to which Sakura winced and looked down, saddened by his lack of emotion.
"That's not the issue, Sasuke!" Kakashi scolded. "Naruto, Sayuri, and I want to know too. Sakura wants to think of a possible way to—"
"Kakashi, Sayuri, you two are the same as Sakura. So shut up, I'm taking command now."
"Watch it!" Sayuri snapped. "I get it, you're the only one who's protecting us right now, but you don't need to be rude about it!" she glared.
Sasuke sighed and looked away. "The light of the moon is what has casted the jutsu over everyone, I doubt that there was anyone spared by it."
"So you mean..." Naruto began and Sasuke closed his eyes, giving the blonde a single nod.
"They're all in a dream now. The moonlight is slowly diminishing, that means that soon we'll be able to get out. But while it's still shining we have to stay here so we don't fall in the genjutsu either."
Sayuri looked around her and could see nothing but the dark purple of Sasuke's Susanoo. He's amazing. To be able to do this in an instant...She chanced a glance at Sasuke who immediately noticed and met her eyes. She quickly looked away concentrating on what she could sense on the outside.
Her eyes gradually widened, her quiet gasp is what got her teams attention when she took a few steps forwards. She felt the familiar tug of the summoning justsu she had installed around Konoha, and then the other four villages. What is this...? Sayuri wondered raising her hands to meet with the surface of Susanoo's barrier.
"Sayuri?" Kakashi was the first to speak but the brunette didn't respond.
"She's sensing what's going on outside." Sasuke replied for her, carefully watching Sayuri's trembling fingers. "Like I said," Sasuke spoke, directing himself to Sayuri now. "There is nothing you can do now."
Upon hearing that Sayuri stilled. Her fingers curled into her palm digging into it for a couple of seconds before she let her arms fall slack against her sides. "Ah..." Sayuri agreed and formed the release seal, canceling out the one thing that she had installed around the villages in order to make sure they were protected.
Sasuke looked up and slowly breathed out, with it the barrier he had formed slowly pulled back. The moonlight had diminished, they no longer faced the risk of falling under the genjutsu. Now they had to worry about Madara and his clones.
Sayuri was the first to step forward, having already known who'd be before them to greet them. "Black Setsu!"
"It looks like he's not affected by the genjutsu..." Saskura noted as the man smirked at them.
"Sasuke!" Naruto called. "How can we wake everyone up?!"
"A genjutsu created by a Rinnegan can most likely be canceled by another Rinnegan." Replied the young Uchiha.
"So we'll need your left eye." Said Kakashi to which Sasuke nodded.
Setsu laughed. "Too bad I won't let you do that!" he said. "You're the only ones left to get rid of."
Madara came crashing down between them, grin on his face. "I'm the savior of this world! I'll do it!"
Sakura narrowed her jade green eyes. "The eye on his forehead..." she said in concern.
Sayuri glanced at Sakura before turning her eyes to the man's face, her eyes slowly rising to the middle of his head. Sharingan...Sayuri frowned, eyes shifting left to right, her grip on the katana tightening. She had felt it before, but now...their differences in chakra was really getting to her. No one had been spared by the jutsu. Everyone she knew and cared for were now a chakra source for the damn tree, while they were the only ones that stood between Madara and total world domination. It was only when she tasted the metallic flavor of blood that she realized she had been biting her lower lip.
"We're surrounded." she said slowly, licking the blood off.
"Yeah..." Sasuke agreed.
"We know." Naruto finished for him.
Madara stood slowly. "I won't let you do anything else. I just stopped the fate of this world. I freed people from pain, suffering...emptiness."
Naruto growled. "This is just a huge lie!" he yelled, angered that Madara actually thought himself a savior.
"Naruto..." the man began. "You are getting in the way of everyone's happiness. Don't you understand? All of their painful memories have been forgotten! They now live in a place where all their dreams come true, and anything painful is erased! Our game will end here. I turned hell into heaven. It is all over."
"Is that what you really think?" Eyes shifted to Sayuri who let the hand holding the katana fall to her side. "That you saved the world from suffering?" she asked, her head was tilted up towards the dimmed moon. "Is forgetting what you would have liked when your brother died? When Hinode died?"
Madara's eyes widened slightly. "Hinode..." he echoed recalling the smiling young woman, bright sapphire blue eyes on him, and suddenly it was gone; replaced with her pale face, blood dripping from the corner of her lips, the cold sapphire eyes staring at nothing. With all of that came a sharp, stabbing, pain at the center of his chest, it hurt to the point where he couldn't take a solid breath.
"Well, Madara?" Sayuri egged on. "Is it?!" she demanded an answer. "Was that what you wanted?! To create a fake scenario in your mind where they were alive! Where she loved you?! Was that it?!" She stepped forward, anger radiating off of her. "Is the lie really better then the actual truth?! Would you have preferred being with a fake Hinode and fake Izuna?!" her voice was raising as her anger reached its peak. "Would it really have been better to not have all of the good memories of them from before, to have it all wiped away in place of something fake?!" When Madara only stared she nearly cried in frustration. "Answer me Dara!"
Madara blinked at the moniker. "Hino...?" He raised a hand up towards her. Alarmed, Sasuke stepped between Madara and Sayuri asuming a defensive stance.
"I'm not her." Sayuri shook head, auburn hair sticking to her now sweaty, and dirty arms. "But did everything you went through with her—with them, really mean nothing to you?!"
"Hinode..." Madara's outstretched hand balled into a fist. "I—"
"Enough play..." the five Konoha ninja stood by in shock as Black Setsu stabbed Madara through the chest. "As touching as your little reminiscence was, I've had enough. You are not the savior, Madara."
The man with the sage's power could only manage to move his eyes, the rest of him was no longer cooperating. "What are you saying, Black Setsu? I am the one who created you! You are my will!"
Black Setsu began to chuckle until it slowly rose to a full on mocking laugh. "No, Madara." he said slowly as if speaking to a child. "My will is Kaguya."
"Kaguya?" Sayuri asked.
Naruto turned to his team recalling the name. The Sage of Six Paths had mentioned it before to him.
Sakura drew a hand to her chest. "What's Kaguya?" she asked, her eyebrows dipped in confusion.
"The person the Sage of Six Paths talked about...his mother." Sasuke replied.
Naruto thought for a moment before something clicked. "Wait! Does that mean that...?" Naruto didn't get to finish his thought as Madara suddenly screamed in agony. Black Setsu's arm still on the other side of his body, while little veins of black rapidly spread over the Uchiha ancestor.
