Henry Jones was now turning ten and they were all going on a family trip. Not just a small one, a massive one. Emma was taking her husband Killian Jones, her two other kids, Katrina and Liam, her parents, David and Mary-Margaret Nolan and her brother and sister, Neal and Eva. Regina Mills, her best friend since she was five and Henry's godmother and her husband, Robin and their three kids Roland, Merida and Remora. She was even taking Henry's biological grandparents, Belle and Robert and their daughter Colette.

And they were going to Australia. It hadn't taken a lot of convincing on Killian, her parents and best friends' parts but it had on Robert's part. Baelfire, Robert's son, was a thief that Emma had met when she was eighteen in college. Her parents and Regina, Neal and Eva warned her against it but when did she listen to them? They had gotten together, Emma unaware of his ways, had gone out with him for a few months, then it turned bad when she had found out she was pregnant. Baelfire had walked out and twenty minutes later, the police had turned up and arrested her for his crimes.

Luckily, the sheriff of the town she lived in, Graham who was a class mate of hers, didn't believe she had done this crimes and let her go. Baelfire, it turned out, was stealing for a girlfriend he had on the side, called Tamara and had left his father, step-mother and sister to go to New York City.

Emma hadn't seen him since then and he never contacted them. Henry had taken on Killian's name when he was two and a half, when she had married him. A year after their marriage, Emma had twins, Liam and Katrina. Emma's brother and sister were twins as well, two years younger, only making sense since their father was a twin himself. Neal had married his high school sweet heart, Elsa, another of Emma's friends and Eva had married the town Sheriff Graham.

Emma was very protective of her siblings, as they were of her. They were very close, something that Emma had to thank her parents for. Emma and Regina met when they were at preschool. Emma hated Regina's mother, as did everyone else in the town, but Regina was much different from her mother. Her half-sister, Zelena, was a little better, but considering the ten year age difference, it had been hard for them to be close with each other.

'Emma love,' Killian said, 'time to get up!'

'MOTHER!' Liam yelled, running into the room. He jumped onto the bed and Emma groaned as Henry and Katrina came into the room.

'Yes?' Emma asked, sitting up.

'Wake up of course!' Liam said. 'Grandma and Grandpa should be here soon and Aunty Regina and Uncle Robin still asleep with Merida and Roland and Remora.'

'I'm awake, Liam,' Emma said, 'why don't you go watch TV and I'll come down soon?'

'Lying,' Katrina said, smirking.

'Mother, you know what dad says about lying,' Liam scolded her.

'Lying is only for pirates and dashing people.' Emma recited and Henry laughed.

'I can't believe I'm turning ten in Australia! How cool is that, you two?' Henry said. 'Let's go wake up the others!' Emma tried to protest but they ran out and Emma groaned. She was going to hear this from Regina. She hated being woken up earlier than necessary.

'Swan!' Regina yelled on cue, five minutes later but Emma knew she was laughing.

'Mills!' Emma called back, finally getting out of bed, smirking at her husband.

'Oh Swan, this is going to be the best time ever,' Killian said, getting his suitcase and hers as she changed into a nice pair of jeans and her famous red leather jacket. She locked her room up and grinned ear to ear. This was going to be an amazing holiday.

They arrived at the Brisbane airport and they looked around. It felt much more relaxed in Australia and Emma loved it. She grinned at her husband before turning to her kids.

'If you get lost, stay where you are, okay?' Emma said seriously. 'This is a foreign country and I don't want you getting hurt okay? You three are to stay with an adult, understood?'

'Yes, mom,' they said.

'So where are we going?' Merida asked excitedly.

'Well, we're going to look around first then we're going to a hotel in the main part of the city. Watermark hotel Brisbane. Near all of these amazing shops and things. Even a museum.'

'Going to that.' Neal said, smirking at Emma.

'Nerd,' Emma muttered.

'I wanna go to,' Elsa said, grinning.

'Nerd,' Emma said, grinning.

'Are we going to that big zoo?' Roland asked. 'With those crocodiles?'

'Australia zoo,' Colette smiled, 'and yes. Father said that he got us all V.I.P passes.'

'Thanks Rob,' Killian smiled.

'Anything for family,' Robert said.

'So where should we go?' Emma asked.

Mary-Margaret looked at a map they had bought of Brisbane and the adults looked over it.

'How about, Robert and I go check in at the hotel and you guys go to Queen Street Mall?' Belle said. 'We're meet up at- hey look they have a Starbucks here in Australia.'

'Thank god,' Regina said and Robin rolled his eyes.

'We should all go to the hotel,' Remora said, 'I don't wanna be taking my suitcase everywhere.'

'True,' Robin admitted.

'Okay hotel it is.' Killian said. 'Now let's go get a cab.'

Killian, Emma, Eva, Graham, Neal, Elsa, Henry, Liam and Katrina were in one larger cab, Regina, Robin, Mary-Margaret, David, Roland, Merida and Remora in another and Robert, Belle and Colette in another. They were all fascinated as they looked outside.

Brisbane truly was the capitol of the Sunshine State. They arrived at their hotel and got into their rooms. They were staying in Brisbane for five days, going up to Cairns for four, going down for Sydney for five, Melbourne for four then Adelaide, Belle's home town, for six days then they were heading home.

'We'll meet downstairs in about an hour,' David said, 'so we can get settled and then we'll go to Queen Street Mall on a bus.'

'It's a deal,' Emma said. She grinned at her best friend and Killian, Emma, Henry, Liam and Katrina went up to their room. It was a two bedroom apartment as Katrina liked to sleep on the couch when away from home and Henry and Liam would share the bed.

'How's Australia?' Killian asked.

'This is where Aunt Belle lived?' Katrina asked. 'It's amazing! We should live here.'

'Their accents are so cool!' Liam said. 'G'day mate!'

'Liam that's not how you say it.' Emma said. 'You have to go a bit deeper ready, listen. G'day mate.'

'Bloody hell,' Killian said, his Irish accent showing, 'is this what it's going to be like all day?'

'Yes and don't swear dad,' Henry smirked, 'it's only for pirates and dashing people.'

'Go put your suitcases in your rooms,' Emma said, smiling at them. They raced off and Emma turned to Killian.

'Do you think they'll suspect?' Killian asked.

'Of course not,' Emma said, 'now come on you, let's get settled in and enjoy Australia for Henry's birthday.'

Emma put her suitcase on her bed and grabbed a pair of comfy shoes. She loved to travel. That was how she met Killian after all. She had just had Henry but everything was too much for her after a couple of months. Regina, Eva and Neal had taken Henry into their care (it was the holidays for Neal and Eva) and her parents had bought her a ticket to England for a couple of weeks.

She backpacked around England for a few days when in London, a thief (who looked almost exactly like Baelfire) had taken her purse. She had panicked greatly. How was she meant to pay for things? How was she meant to go home? She started to chase him down when the thief was tackled by a mysterious man she hadn't met.

It was Killian. He had been going to the airport on a flight to New York to explore the world more and had noticed her chasing the thief who wasn't actually Baelfire but some low life called Felix. Emma had called the police and she was given her purse and she had bought Killian a coffee.

She always told her parents that she didn't believe in love at first sight, but unconsciously that was what happened to her. She had learnt that his father had left him when he was six with his brother who was twelve and his mother had died when he was two in a car accident. His brother Liam, was in the navy and had gone over to America to get more opportunities when Killian was eighteen and a half. Killian wanted to follow in his brothers' footsteps and they talked for almost three hours when they had realised the time.

She swapped email addresses with him and she couldn't help but look at him. He wore a pair of tight black jeans and a long black leather jacket. He had scruff on his chin and his eyes reminded Emma of home. Of her son and parents and siblings and her friends.

They had left on their way and Emma had emailed him the day after. He replied and for the next few weeks they kept emailing each other. Emma had gone back to Storybrooke and her family had noticed a change within her. Killian had come to America a month after Emma and he had moved to Boston. They kept talking for a couple of months when he had asked her out.

Emma had immediately agreed and he had come from Boston to Storybrooke. She could tell immediately that he had loved the place. He had said it reminded him of home and she knew instantly he would only be going back to Boston to move to Storybrooke. She had taken him to the Italian restaurant that was the most famous restaurant in Maine.

As he drove her home she learnt that his ex-girlfriend Milah had tried to contact him but he had ignored her and Emma realised who Milah was. The girl who bullied her for two years in a row before moving back to England with her parents.

After her first date with Killian he had indeed move to Storybrooke. And they had gotten closer and they had eventually gotten married and she had immediately changed her sons' last name to his.

'Love?' Killian asked the next morning.

'Let's have fun,' Emma smiled, kissing him softly. He grabbed her hand and Emma, Killian, Henry, Liam and Katrina rushed to her parents' room. Liam knocked loudly for five minutes when Graham answered the door.

'Hey Uncle Graham!' Liam yelled and ran into the room.

'It's too early for this,' Graham groaned.

'We know,' Emma said, walking into the room. Elsa, Eva and Neal were coming from their rooms and she knew her parents were probably gone for a quiet walk as they did every morning.

'I thought we agreed not before eight,' Neal said.

'Kids don't listen mate,' Killian said.

'Don't we know,' Eva smiled. Emma looked like a combination of both of her parents, Neal looked like David and Eva looked like Mary-Margaret. The three siblings had the same coloured eyes however that were their mother's green.

'Australia Zoo should be great,' Elsa said, 'they had crocodiles and snakes and all other animals.'

'Crocodiles?' Katrina said. 'Don't they eat people?'

'Only if you don't eat your vegetables,' Eva said smiling innocently at her. Katrina looked horrified. Katrina was going through a phase where she wasn't eating her vegetables and Emma knew this would push her the extra mile even if it was a bit rough.

'Hello,' Mary-Margaret smiled.

'Grandma Aunty Eva said the crocodiles would eat me if I didn't eat my vegetables!' Katrina said, running up to her. Emma couldn't help but laugh softly.

'And why would Aunty Eva say that, Kat?' Mary-Margaret asked, kneeling next to her.

'Cause I don't eat what mommy says to eat?' Katrina suggested.

'Well of course,' Mary-Margaret smiled, 'now do you want hot coco?'

'With cinnamon!' Liam yelled, jumping over Henry and leaving the conversation between the male adults.

'Liam!' Emma said sternly. 'You could have broken something or hurt someone!'

'Sorry mom,' Liam said, 'but it's hot coco!'

'Oh Liam,' Killian smiled.

Emma couldn't help but smile. This family vacation was going to be amazing. And it was.

For Henry's tenth birthday they were in Adelaide and they had celebrated his birthday by going snorkelling and having a nice dinner and Emma and Killian had gotten him a pair of shoes he always wanted and the collection of the Harry Potter series which was hard covered.

Australia was just as amazing as her family and she couldn't help but smile at how life was now.
