Chapter 9
Sesshomaru raced to the infirmary, he didn't know what had happened and didn't stick around to find out from someone else. When he got there he saw Hikaru there, immediately he became jealous but masked it when Kagome opened her eyes. He wanted to be alone with Kagome to find the truth behind what happened behind her injuries. She reached her hand out to Sesshomaru, as Sango and Miroku burst into the room.
"Kagome are you alright?" Sango cried for her dear friend who had bruises on her neck.
"Sango." She smiled at her friend as her voice rasped to get words out. She looked around at everyone, Inuyasha was sitting in the corner unable to look at her. Miroku, Sango, and Kirara were sitting at her side. Lord Hikaru was there staring at her with concern. What was he doing here she thought to herself.
Sesshomaru caught Kagome gazing at the young Lord Hikaru, he became saddened by the thought that he was losing her. Now becoming infuriated with the thought he stormed out of the room. He didn't want to give her the chance to tell him that she was now interested in someone else.
Kagome looked around and noticed that Sesshomaru was missing shs didn't even see him leave. Where did he go? Why would he just leave her without saying so much as a word? Was it something she said? Maybe she was so revolting that he no longer wished to look at her.
"Sango, could you get my bag?" She pleaded with her friend who was more a sister to her then a friend.
"Sure Kagome I'll be right back." Rushing off to her friend's room she bumped into Sesshomaru in deep thought. "I'm so sorry Lord Sesshomaru, I was just on my way to get Kagome's bag for her. She told him as she bowed once more and went in and got Kagome's bag and hurried back to Kagome.
"So, she's leaving then?" He asked himself out loud.
