Just to let everyone know I'm sorry I haven't updated in awhile and I know this chapter is a bit short but I'm going to try to make the next chapter much longer!

Chapter 15

Kagome awoke with the feeling of someone's presence in her room. The morning sun was just starting to cover her room. Shedding light onto the darkness she looked around and saw Rin and Shippo were still asleep next to her. She would need to speak with Sesshomaru about this dark aura she had felt, it was unrecognizable to her. Hoping that something or someone hadn't been watching her in her sleep she got up and strode right into Sesshomaru's office.

Normally Sesshomaru wouldn't be too happy if anyone barged into his study without permission, but Kagome wasn't just anyone, she was to be his mate. Waiting for her to speak he noticed that she was shaking out of nerves. Maybe she wanted him to say something, or maybe she just wanted his comfort from yesterday's events.

"Kagome what is the matter?"

"Sess, I need to speak with you about something but I'm not sure about it entirely but I just have this feeling…"

"Go on miko speak your mind." He insisted.

"Well I felt this strange dark presence and I didn't see anyone but I felt it." Sesshomaru stood up pushing his chair backwards into the wall. "Also Sess, I… I think it was watching me in my sleep." She admitted.

He was already furious that something had slipped past him and his men and he knew why. They were all distracted by the tournament for Lady Kagome's hand. He grabbed her by her wrist and pulled her into him. Lifting her up bridal style he ran as fast as possible to her room. When he reached her room he could smell that there had been someone inside without opening the door. Pushing the screen to the side he saw the pups were asleep and worked quiet and diligently around the room. He knew it was from a male but rather who and what kind of demon he could not tell. He let out a groan in frustration.

Kagome could feel that he was upset and wasn't sure what to do in the situation but decided if it were her she would want some close to her. So she stepped closer to him and tenderly touched his upper arm. She knew he could feel her but ignored her, this stung her a bit. Making more of an effort to get his attention she stood in front of him and grabbed his face and pulled him down into a fierce kiss. She thought for sure that she would bruise from such a savage kiss but it felt good.

He wrapped his arms around her pulling her in tight; lifting her up off the ground he grabbed her thighs and wrapped her legs around him. Remembering that he was not alone and that the kids were sleeping he reluctantly set her back down to the ground. He noticed that Kagome gave a disapproving growl when he set her down. He looked down at Kagome and saw that her eyes had gone black, she had gone into heat and she was on the pursuit of a mate. All the males would be fighting for her not only in the tournament but not also to have the chance to rut with her. Luckily for him once a female chooses what male she wants then the others will see they have not chance unless they are mates.

A female demon especially inu youkai are very particular about who they will not only mate with but who they are willing to have a quick rut with. Kagome had chosen Sesshomaru, whether it was because she loved him or he had happened to be at the right place at the right time he wasn't sure. But at least he didn't have to worry about her going after some random males. But now he had to worry about keeping Kagome at bay until the tournament was being held.

"Kagome?"

"Yes…" She moaned.

" I have to go the tournament so that I can fight for the right to mate you."

"But Sess, you don't have to do that you can have me. I want you please." She begged him. She never felt such strong feelings she was unsure what to do with it. All she knew was she wanted Sesshomaru to fuck her so hard until she couldn't stand straight.

"I want to but I can't I'll lose my land and title I'll win the tournament then we will mate."

"Sesshomaru… I don't know if I can wait that long." She pouted, she was actually pouting at him and damn if that wasn't cute he didn't know what hit him when she started to move her hand slowly down his pants.

"Kami's woman what are you trying to do to me." He said as he grabbed her up and ran to his room.
