-DEAN-
Dean paced back and forth in front of the angel that sat in his fireplace. It was a light tan, a fire encircling it. He didn't have much on his mind he missed his brother and Luc like hell but he knew they were safer with him here.
"Dean?" A voice said barely above a whisper that almost couldn't be heard over the fire.
"What are you doing here Sam?" Dean asked clutching his hands close together and bringing them up to his chest.
"I… wanted to talk to you," Sam replied his voice somewhat stronger as he walked further into the room, "This place is amazing Dean. I mean you made this place or the angels you created did." Dean turned slowly to face his brother, fear taking over any other emotion he was feeling; inky black sparks flying like lightning between his fingertips. Why was Sam here? "Wow Dean…you look...great," Sam said smiling at him, "You don't look… as stressed. You seem like you are actually ok with being….you."
"Thank you, I never really knew what I could do until I got away from everyone. Up here… I can't hurt anyone." Dean replied
"I'm so sorry Dean…if I would have known about all this," Sam said stepping forward towards his brother.
Dean took several paces back his fear starting to invade every fiber of his being. He could feel it everywhere, "No don't apologize, but you should probably go…please." Dean turned his back on his brother breathing between clenched teeth knowing the please sounded more like a demand.
"But..I just got here Dean…" He herd him take a few steps forward.
"No Sam you belong in Arendale." Dean snapped squeezing his eyes shut, bringing his shaking hands up close to his face
"So do you. It's our home dean it's were we grew up." Sam argued back
"It doesn't matter that I grew up there Sam." Dean spun around on his heal to look at his brother, "I hurt people Sam. I FUCKING belong here where I won't do that!"
"Uh, see…about that…" Sam started to explain rubbing the back of his neck looking awkward
Just then a man wearing only what looked like Sam's dress pants that were entirely too big for him, "Hi," the man smiled crookedly at Dean, his electric blue eyes locked onto Dean, "I'm Castiel." At that he stretched his wings out sending a slight slock though Dean.
"How are you…talking?" Dean took several more paces back from the two men
"You created me….remember that?" Castiel asked his wings folding tightly against his back again.
Dean looked down at his hands slightly amazed, the inky black sparks still flying between his fingers, "And you're alive? I have no connection to you what so ever."
"Uh I think so?" Castiel replied looking down at himself.
"Dean, he told us his name…I didn't name him. He is named after my old panda bear. The one you stole from me when we were little Dean…"Sam said staring, almost transfixed, at the sparks traveling between Deans fingers and were now traveling slowly down his arms, "Dean we used to be so close. Hell I used to go to you when I was scared before mom and dad… we can be like that again."
Now Dean had his back pressed against a closed door behind him, watching in horror instead of awe at the inky black goo that was now starting to form, a memory filling his vision. He was clutching his little brother close to his chest tears streaming down his face right after Sam had been struck with the goo before. "No we can't Sam. Good bye." Without looking back dean opened the door he was pressed against and began to walk quickly up the stairs.
"Dean wait!" Sam called his footsteps close behind
"No I'm just trying to fucking protect you from a monster that I can't control!" Dean yelled back quickening his pace.
He reached the top of the stairs and heard Sam's ascending footsteps and his voice close behind, "When are you going to realize I doing give a fuck? Huh? When are you going to realize that I'm 19! Yeah maybe I don't completely understand what this thing is that you have, but I'm not going to let you figure it out alone. You don't have to keep me at arms distance anymore Dean. I finally understand…let me help you figure this out."
"Sam when are you going to get it you dumb ass….I've been trying to control this monster inside of me," Dean growled the anger and fear beginning to mix, making the black inky goo begin to travel up to his shoulders, his feet caring him to the opening to upstairs, "Since I was 7… that's why I moved out Sam. That's why I need to be alone."
"Dean we could go down this mountain together right now," Sam now reached the top of the stairs his hazel eyes pleading, "You don't have to live in fear…I'll be right here every step of the way. You don't have to be alone" He held his hand out towards his brother.
"Sam…please go back home, the life you always wanted is waiting for you at the bottom of this hill without me. Go enjoy the sun and open up the damned prison we grew up in." Dean said clutching himself around the waist.
"Yeah…but" Sam started taking a few more steps forward.
"I know you mean well Sammy," Dean looked down at the wooden floor, "Yeah I may be alone…but I'm finally free. Just stay away and you'll be safe from the monster inside of me."
"Actually we aren't…not saying you're a monster but…"Sam said rubbing the back of his neck
"What do you mean you're not?" Dean asked all anger being driven from his body and fear gripping him so roughly he felt like he had been thrown against a wall; the inky black goo slowly dripping down his shoulders to his collar bone.
"I get the feeling you don't know." Sam responded looking more awkward by the second.
"What the fuck don't I know Sam." Dean demanded his voice cracking in fear.
"Arendale's in deep deep deep deep snow…" Sam replied his eyes looking fearfully at the goo that was now sliding down to Dean's chest.
"What?" Dean gasped red sparks flying to the ground snow angels creating themselves along the edges of the room snow starting to fall to the floor.
"The now isn't just up here with you Dean…you kinda set off an eternal winter everywhere. Your snow angels are covering our town." Sam explained the snow now falling thicker around them; Dean's whole torso now dripping black goo.
"Everywhere?" Dean asked fear and panic filling every fiber of his being.
"It's alright though. You control all of your angels you just have to, shut them off." Sam said shrugging as if the news he was telling Dean was something as simple as two plus two.
"But you don't understand Sam. I don't know how. Any angel's I've created….well they always turn to dust when I get a certain distance away. I have no fucking clue how Castiel was made or why I have no control over him and the angels in the town can't be angels anymore," Dean was talking fast now the snow a small blizzard that was now encircling him, "They must be demons."
"I don't care what they are. Dean I know you can bring back the summer," Sam retorted stepping closer to his brother the wind from the small blizzard sending him slightly sideways, "We can figure it out together Dean. There is no way in fucking hell I'm leaving you up here in this god forsaken lonely place Dean."
"I'm such a god damn idiot!" Dean yelled at himself barely listening to his brother now, "I don't know why I thought I could be myself up here. There is no escape from the monster inside of me….I can't control this curse."
"We will figure this out together Dean, we can figure out how to reverse this storm you've made. We can figure out how to get rid of the…demons you created." Sam said still struggling towards Dean who kept quickly retreating back.
"Sam just stop! You're only making it worse." Dean yelled his hands curling into fists.
"Don't panic." Sam said reaching his hand out
"There's so much fear…" Dean mumbled looking down at himself his torso completely covered in goo.
"We can make the sun shine bright." Sam insisted inching closer to his brother who had a full out blizzard running rampant though the room.
"You aren't safe here! You're not safe around me. No one is." Dean cried out pressing himself against the wall as Sam still inched closer.
"We can face this thing tougher… we can figure it out together." Sam was saying but Dean had his palms pressed up against his eyes, fighting the amplified fear that wanted to explode out of him.
"I can't!" Dean screamed his arms shooting down by his sides and before he could stop it what felt like a bomb exploded from him. Everything became deathly still as the goo blasted out from his body in all directions. Dean's eyes were closed but he heard a soft gasp. Sam now knew what kind of monster he was opening his eyes he saw Sam clutching his chest, kneeling close to the floor and staring up at him.
"Sam!" two voiced yelled as three people ran in the room. The man with the golden eyes ran over to Sam and placed his hand on Sam's shoulder, "Are you ok?"
"Who's this?" Dean asked pressing his self-closer to the wall is that was even possible, "Never mind it doesn't matter you have to go."
"I'm fine." Sam replied, "I'm not leaving you Dean. I know we can figure this out together."
