Chapter 22.

Mikan's POV:

"OHHHH MYYYYY GAAAAHHHH" Anna, Nonoko and surprisingly even Hotaru was in awe when I told them. I don't blame them, I am pretty shocked myself.

"So how did he ask you? Why did he ask you? Where did he ask you? What did he ask you?" Anna babbled out all at once. Can you believe it took her only 3 seconds to ask four questions? I honestly had no idea what to answer first so I just looked away smiling. Yes, I told them about how Natsume asked me out (FINALLY AND OFFICIALLY). There was only one problem left…

I don't know how to be in a relationship. I mean yes I have watched like a trillion movies about how relationships work but we all know only half of the shit is real. All relationships are different and have their own thing going on. And unfortunately for me I don't know what the heck mine is all about.

"Mika…MIKAN!"

I turn my head swiftly to Nonoko and give her a questioning look. "Oh just cause you have a boyfriend now, you think you are too good to answer Anna's questions?" she snapped at me but I could tell she was only playing.

I give them all a sly smile. " He asked me with his mouth. He asked me because he wanted too at the parking lot and I don't want to answer the last one."

To be honest I couldn't bring myself to say the words he said when he asked me. It made me feel like fluffy and mushy inside, gross but I like it.

I cant believe it was just yesterday that this happened. So this is what a fairytale feels like huh?

I think the girls are officially weirded out by me always smiling but I really can't help it! I'm just so…HAPPY!

"By the way Mikan, I wanted to ask you about the other day. Or was it last week I am not sure" Hotaru suddenly said out of nowhere. I gave her a puzzled look and nodded as a sign to continue what she was talking about.

She takes a glance at Anna and Nonoko, then back to me and continues " When you and Hyuuga came back to the cafeteria after your little love quarrel, who was that guy that you were so shocked to see. And from how Anna and Nonoko explained it, Hyuuga looked like he was going to murder him. According to the rumors swirling around, they say he is your ex and the captain for 'The Wolves'. Please clarify for these two idiots, they just don't have the balls to ask you about it." Damn is this girl human? She literally took not even a single breath when she spoke.

I honestly didn't know what to say, the only people who knew about this was Sumire and Natsume. Its not that I don't want to tell them, I just don't know how to start and moreover I don't want them to get involved. But then again, these girls have really been there for me and I really owe them an

explanation as to why I am so over the edge sometimes. I mean they wont think differently of me right? They are true friends…right?

I stayed silent for a while thinking to myself on how to react to this, should I tell the truth or should I just leave it be and cover up with another lie?

"Mikan you don't have to tell us if you don't want too, but I do wish you would open up to us more. We are close friends right? I mean, me and Nonoko consider you as a sister too you know? I'm sure Hotaru feels the same." Anna says looking a little sad and hoping at the same time.

She is right, even if I haven't known them for as long as I knew Sumire they are still close- no I mean best friends. So I have decided to tell them and let's see where it goes from there.

"What I am about to tell you must not be spoken to another soul about ok?" they are bound to find out sooner or later so fuck it, I will be the one to tell them myself.

They all rearranged themselves in their seat and listened attentively, if only they paid attention like this in class.

Here goes nothing…

After an hour and a half.

"…and he now goes to whatever school the soccer team is up against soon." To say that I gave a very detailed explanation would be an understatement. They didn't ask any questions in between, just a few ohhhhs and a bunch of shocked facial expressions. When I was done there was complete silence.

I was actually scared of their reactions, scared that they would think of me differently… they all seemed to be in their own deep thoughts. Maybe they were all speechless.

Suddenly I heard a small whimper but it wasn't from me I look at all of them to see who made that sound.

I see Anna having her hands over eyes so practically her whole face was covered. Confused? Yes I was very…

Anna then removed her hands and came dashing at me with a hug.

"I'm so sorry.. that you had-…to speak about that… I'm so-… sorry miki" she held me tighter and tighter and I hugged her back just as much. I started to tear up abit. I was so relieved, it's like a huge weight come off my shoulders after telling them. I felt someone hug me from the back, it was Nonoko. I then felt a third person hugging me from the side…Hotaru is hugging me? we all stayed like that for what seemed one of the happiest 5 minutes of my life.

We slowly dispersed and wiped all the tears away. Anna still held my hand gently and always gave me a warm smile when I looked at her.

It's amazing how no one spoke but it was comfortable to be with them this way.

"OK! Enough tears and cries and painful memories! Let us-" Nonoko covered Anna's mouth to shut her up.

"Before we go out and have fun to make our moods all better, Mikan…" she trailed off.

"Thank you for being honest with us and we are sorry you had to relive those horrific moments by telling us. Mikan, we promise to be here for you ok? I refuse to let that fucktard ever lay another finger on you ever again." Nonoko continued, this is the first time I heard her swear, I think.

She glances at Anna whose mouth was still covered by her hand and says "Now you may continue."

"I hate it when you do that why don't you cut me off like a normal person would rather than laying your filthy hands on my face and smudging all my lipstick!" Anna retorts back.

"Excuse me? Filthy hands? Atleast I actually-" I couldn't help it, I let out a big laugh.

All three of them look at me like I was demented. After about 5 minutes of laughing, I finally calm down abit and just give them a big smile.

"How about we go eat out tonight? Jhonny Rockets maybe?" I suggest.

"OH MY GAH! Girls you read my mind lets go! Cmon ladies, get your asses up" Anna says as she gets up to go fix her lipstick since Nonoko ruined it. Hotaru and Nonoko got up and fixed their clothes too. I just changed into some black sweatpants and a grey tang top. My love for sweatpants will never die.

We all got ready to leave and made our way to Jhonny Rockets.

Hello everyone! I know… you can sue me. I haven't posted in 2 years? 3 years? I'm really sorry. My life was just hectic with college that I took a really long break from writing this story. BUT I am back and I promise to finish this story! I even have an idea for my next one ;).
