"Okay guys! This is it!"

Tony flopped down onto the couch, and pulled a pillow up to his waist. Squirming excitedly, he grabbed Natasha's wrist, and pulled her down next to him. She pushed a strand of bright red hair out of her face, and frowned.

"I hate this show."

"What did you just say?"

Tony glared at Natasha, and shook his head in disbelief. A small frown crossed Natasha's face. She glanced up at Vision, who was standing by the couch and flipping through a copy of The Great Gatsby. He didn't seem to notice her plight for he was enthralled by the tragic Gatsby's life story. Peter suddenly appeared in the door way, pushing Rhodey in a wheel-chair. Noticing dark circles under Peter's eyes, Tony's squirming turned to flinching.

God, he's been losing sleep over this whole Mary Jane thing, huh?

Tony pasted a large smile on his face, and waved at Rhodey to sit down.

"C'mon Stark," Natasha mumbled "You're acting like you're five."

"It's not every day you're on TV," Tony retorted, gesturing at Vision to sit down.

"What the hell are you talking about? You're always on TV!"

"My very dear Natasha Romanoff, this is very different. For I, Anthoney Stark, was on the bachelorette."

"What is a bachelorette?" Vision asked, looking up from the creased pages of his book.

"Oh my god, guys! Viz, it's basically a reality TV show where a bunch of guys date one girl and she kicks them off the show one by one until there is a final contestant. He then proposes to her."

"You were a contestant?" Vision asked, his glassy eyes widening with curiosity.

"No! No! I hosted a date for JoJo and Jordan! They came to my place in Malibu and did some fun stuff!"

Natasha groaned, and leaned her head back onto a pillow.

"You should like this, Natasha! There are a lot of hunk, angsty men."

"Oh please!" Natasha exclaimed.

Tony leaned forward, and watched Peter help Rhodey situate himself on the couch. A warm feeling flowed all over him, happy that Peter was being so kind to one of his dearest friends. Surging pride made a goofy grin cross his face. Peter glanced over, meeting Tony's gaze. He then looked away, and sat down on the couch. Tony's grin disappeared rapidly. He was pretty sure Peter was trying to avoid him, especially after the whole Mary Jane incident. For all he knew, Mary Jane and Peter were still together. He still called her a lot, and smiled every time he did. However, something about his smile was different. There weren't any broad, looney smiles; there were only small wisps of a lip curl, one that Tony barely could notice.

"Okay guys, it's almost eight!"

Tony grabbed the remote and turned on the TV. The Bachelorette theme song filled the lunge room, causing Natasha to moan loudly. Rhodey smacked her, and glared, telling her to stop. Peter's eyes gazed at the TV, soaking in JoJo's explanation on how she was looking for love.

Finally, they got to the part where Tony would be taking JoJo and Jordan Rodgers on a date to his workshop. Tony giggled manically as he watched him show JoJo and Jordan around.

Everyone, except Natasha, laughed loudly when Jordan crashed into the wall when trying on some of Tony's armor. Tony, in particular, seemed to enjoy this, even though he claimed it to be staged.

Everyone went quiet when JoJo smooched Jordan. Rhodey flinched from the awkward aura floating around in the room. He then chuckled awkwardly, and Vision glanced at Tony and then Peter because he was confused over the silence. Tony, however, didn't pick up on how embarrassed everyone was for some reason. He stared at the TV, watching himself watch The Bachelorette and her beau make out.

JoJo and Jordan continued kissing and kissing.

"Damn, will this ever end?" Natasha finally said.

"Just watch!"

"Stark, it's weird. The kiss is way too long."

"Shut up, Natasha."

"It's friggin creepy seeing you watch them make out in the background."

"What are you? Five?"

Rhodey and Peter looked at each other nervously.

"Okay, I can't take this," Peter finally blurted "Turn it off!"

"No! I'm on freaking TV."

"Turn it off, Tony!"

"Make me!"

With that, Peter sprung up from his chair, and tried to snatch the remote control out of his hand. Natasha chuckled as she watched Tony and Peter tug on the remote.

Peter didn't want to pull too hard on Tony. Once, he accidentally popped Aunt May's shoulder out of his socket because he tugged so far. He freaked out when his Aunt collapsed, crying in pain. As much as he thought Tony hated him, it didn't mean he deserved that. Still, the team watching the Bachelorette together was awful and embarrassing.

"Guys, cut it out!" Rhodey hollered.

Vision stood up, analyzing their fight patterns. To him, it didn't seem like they were going to do something extremely dangerous and that they wouldn't physically hurt themselves with the tugging.

Peter almost stopped trying to snatch the remote away from Tony. After all, he could just leave or turn the TV off using the button on the side of the gigantic screen. Peter wasn't in the mood for peacefully letting things slide; Tony was getting on his nerves with his wishy-washy attitude.

Sometimes, it seemed like Tony cared. When he talked with Peter while they were building stuff in his lab and when he gave him advice over what to do with Mary Jane. Other times, he got mad and reckless like during the mission and when he bullied him over small things like his mathematic algorithms.

For anyone, stuff like this is frustrating.

Steve Rodger's words ran though his head. He tried not to think about the advice Steve gave him, especially because he was a wanted criminal. Peter believed strongly in the accords, and didn't want to dishonor his agreement. Still, Captain Rodger's words rang in his head as clear as a bell.

He wanted to stand up to Tony.

Desperately.

No, he did not want to watch the Bachelorette.

No, he wasn't some idiot that would allow himself to be pushed around.

He didn't get how the other Avengers could put with this. They just silently watched the ridiculously dull episode and laughed politely when Tony got excited.

What if they all didn't want to do a damn thing that Tony said?

Peter's superior strength kicked in as he yanked the remote out of Tony's hand. Tony's arm didn't seem to be popped out of his socket. Without thinking, Peter lifted his hand and smacked Tony on the head with the remote.

Tony collapsed.

"OH MY GOD!" Rhodey yelled, desperately trying to stand up.

Natasha and Vision knelt down next to Tony, who eyes were blinking open. Tony's forehead wrinkled up, and he put a hand to his face. A tiny drop of blood trickled down his face.

"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU PETER?"

"I—I—I'm sorry, Rhodey. Oh my god!"

Peter dropped the remote, and knelt down next to Tony, who was grimacing.

"Damn," Tony muttered.

"He'll be alright, but let's get him to the med bay so we can bandage his head," Natasha said quietly.

Vision scooped Tony up in his arms and flew out of the room. Natasha followed close behind.

"What the hell was that, Peter?"

Peter turned to Rhodey, who was struggling uncomfortably in his seat. His face seemed pained, almost like he was frustrated that he couldn't stand up and walk.

"I didn't mean to hit him so hard!"

"Why were you trying to hit him in the first place?"

Tears started piling up in Peter's eyes. He shook his head angrily, as if that would stop the torrent of tears building up.

"I don't know, man."

"I think you do."

"It—It's just that sometimes he acts all nice to me when he needs me to do something for him. Other times, he hates me, like literally. I just wish—I don't know. I was angry, so I hit him."

Rhodey shook his head sadly.

"Peter, you know that Tony's not perfect. Hell, you know that nobody's perfect. Yeah, I've seen Tony's wishy-washy attitude towards you. We all do. Whatever Tony did do, however, is not an excuse for violence. We use violence in very specific, certain cases when we don't believe there's any hope left for peace. That's partially what the Accords are about. You're a hero in the Accord's eyes, so you have to live like one. So does Tony. Fighting each other and holding resentment isn't going to solve anything. It's not holding up the Accords values either."

"I don't hate Tony, Rhodey. I just—I just wished he didn't hate me."

Rhodey smiled sympathetically.

"I know, Peter. I know."

Author's Note:

Hey Everyone!

Sorry I haven't updated lately. I want to post a chapter every couple of weeks but life happens . . .

Yes, I am a HUGE Bachelorette (sue me) and I couldn't resist letting the chapter get some inspiration from it. Sometimes they have celebrities take the Bachelorette and one of her beaus on a date, and I thought it would be funny if Tony did. More specifically, I thought it'd be funny if the other Avengers weren't impressed.

I also know the latest chapters haven't been all that funny, but I'm kind of broke on humorous ideas right now. Call it a weird strain of writer's block . . .

Please review and leave suggestions/Prompts.

Much Love,
