He heard a something got knocked over he assumed it was glass "Pendragon?" she said in shock.
"Back to last name basis huh?" Arthur replied.
She didn't reply at once "So . . . why did you call?"
"Eilonwy got caught up in an accident" he answered looking up at the tiled ceiling of the emergency room.
Again he heard something break "WHIT?"
"Some bloke tried to overtake her and ended up pushing her car towards the railings even flipping it to the other lane" Arthur saw some doctors pass him by who nodded at him.
"I dinnae whit to say . . ." she spoke in a worried tone "Is she alright?"
Kay came by and offered him a cup of coffee which he accepted "She's been in surgery the whole night, right now the doctors are monitoring her if she'll be able to wake up"
He heard her mutter words probably cursing since her accent was really strong there "Is Taran there?"
"About to call him, you're the first one I called" he took a sip of his coffee while Kay sat beside him.
"Then go! He needs to know" Merida said.
"Yes ma'am, by the way did you reach DunBroch safely? I heard there's some storm coming up there" Arthur asked.
He heard some bell ringing "Yes, the weather is terrible indeed" she replied "Well me dad's here I guess I better be goin' tell me if Eilonwy wakes up"
"Alright then" he said before hanging up.
Kay took a sip of his own coffee "Dad's wondering when you're coming in for breakfast"
"After I make all these calls" Arthur said dialing Taran's number then pressing the phone to his ear, then again he didn't know what time it was in whatever island the boy went.
There were a couple of rings before he got an answer "Waddup" from what Arthur could tell the guy probably had several things in his mouth right now.
"Something happened with Eilonwy" Arthur replied "She got involved in a car accident"
There was a loud sound that came from Taran's end before a chuckle came "Oh I see here" he finally chewed his food "Look I know that you're worried about our relationship but really there is nothing . . ."
"Do you think I'd joke about something like this?" Arthur took another sip of his coffee "Look some punk hit her on the M-25 and she's now being observed by the doctors if she'll wake up"
"So you're saying . . ."
"I'm not saying she's dead" he took a deep breath "I'm just . . ."
"What hospital are you in?" Taran asked alert in his voice.
"St. Hugh's Hospital . . . you're not considering . . ."
"There's not consideration for me at this rate, I'm taking the next flight I can find back to London" there was shuffling "I'm sure my dad will understand"
"Exactly where are you?" Arthur asked for the sake of knowing how much he'll have to pay for the overseas call.
"That's not important right now, what's important is that that bloody bloke gets some real good jail time by the time I get there" the man sounded angry "And I don't care how much his daddy pays the judge I'll double the pay!"
"The guy's in jail, the truck driver surrendered . . ."
"THERE'S A TRUCK DRIVER?"
". . . The truck didn't directly hit . . ."
"DIRECT OR INDIRECT SHE STILL GOT HIT!"
Arthur was already distancing the phone away from him, he should have taken a nap before calling everyone "Just relax . . ."
"THERE IS NO TIME TO RELAX SEND ME A COPY OF THE DOCTOR'S REPORT, HECK READ IT TO ME NOW!"
"So Eilonwy was indeed the man in the relationship" Kay commented.
"You're not helping my case in here" Arthur whispered back.
"CASE? DID SOMEONE GET KILLED?"
"Taran, it's lovely to see you care but don't you think you're overreacting a bit too much?" Arthur replied.
"Well someone has to bear the burden of caring in our happy trio" Taran still sounded like he was shouting.
"Now thank you for calling me and Eilonwy misanthropists"

Ever since they came to Arendelle it has occurred to Anna that their lunch had always been disrupted by something involving some rich man choking, the funeral parade of some local diplomat and other tragic events that didn't really mean much to the sisters, or at least for Elsa.
Now though, judging from Elsa calling Anna to answer the phone this might actually involve her.
She had accidently chopped her hand off.
To be more specific it was actually fingers, around two of them, and Elsa was clearly not amused by this. Even Anna herself wondered if she was really that clumsy, she was only trying to chop some zucchini to add to her pasta and it ended up having being brought to the emergency room.
After a few hours and who knows how many stiches later the young girl managed to recover and was now leaving the hospital with her stone faced sister in tow. When Elsa came to the kitchen to see the counter top covered in the girl's blood she had to admit she had almost fainted since the last time she had seen that much amount of blood was when Anita had accidently run over a cat, twice. (And yes both women were quite traumatized from the incident especially after learning the deceased cat was pregnant.)
"So . . . no wonder you never let me hold sharp objects" Anna tried to lighten the mood as they got into the car.
Elsa gave her sister a look "After what I've seen I'm banning you from ever entering the kitchen AGAIN!"
Anna winced "Look it was a simple accident . . ."
"SIMPLE ACCIDENT!" Elsa tightened her grip on the steering wheel "Anna you're already nineteen years old and you handled the knife like you were five!"
"Ok I'll shut up now" Anna cowered into her seat.
Elsa sighed "Well you were lucky enough to still have all of your fingers still attached to you"
Anna did a weak laugh "Yeah that would totally make texting a little bit harder"
"It'll make everything a little bit harder" checked the watch on the car to see that it was already lunch "Are you still hungry?"
"Nah after seeing all of that blood . . . and my fingers not attached to my hand" Anna cringed "Yeah that one pretty much wrecked my appetite"
There was silence when Anna's stomach started grumbling really loud.
The said person blushed "That was probably the engine"
"I'm sure there's a McDonald's here somewhere" Elsa said driving into the center of town.
After around three large burgers and two servings of fries Anna was finally full. "Woah that hit the spot" she said patting her belly.
Elsa was sipping on her coke, she was pretty sure it wasn't diet and she could care less "Oh while you were in surgery Arthur called"
"What did he say?" Anna asked.
"Apparently you weren't the only one sent to the emergency room" Elsa leaned back against her chair "Eilonwy got involved in a car crash"
Anna sat straight in her chair "WHAT?"
"Looks like she'll be spending Christmas in a coma" Elsa crossed her arms "Kinda sad what happened to her"
"We should go visit her!" Anna stood up from her seat palms on the table.
"Don't pressure your hand you just got through surgery yourself" Elsa scolded.
Anna took back her hands "She visited me a lot while I was still recovering last time, she even tried to help pay the hospital bills, and I wanna give back to her"
Elsa nodded "I see, well I've already booked a flight to London after Christmas"
Anna sat down on her chair again "Man I hope she's ok, Taran must be panicking right now"
"Pardon?" Elsa raised a brow.
She waved her hands "Oh it's nothing really" she changed the topic "So have you picked out a wedding dress yet?"
Elsa dropped her hands "I thought we discussed about not talking about that"
Anna covered her mouth "I'm sorry, it's just that I saw a notebook full of wedding gown designs in the living room"
"Well I guess that's my fault" Elsa sighed "To be honest it really didn't hit me that much till I saw the designs"
Anna removed her hand from her mouth "What?"
"The whole marriage thing" she checked to see if there was still coke left "There's more to marriage than union of property and living together, there's commitment, the fact that you have to support your spouse through all the trials they're facing, mutual trust . . . having kids . . ."
Anna just played with the left over tissues "You don't have to have kids . . . at once"
"I know but . . . they're bound to pressure us into having one" Elsa crossed her arms and placed it on the table "And well . . . it's only now that I realize what I'm putting myself into"
Still playing with the tissue "Have you considered talking to Arthur about that? Sure I know you've discussed it before but . . ."
"He's got a lot on his mind right now, not only about Eilonwy but Hans is still on the loose and who knows what that man's father is plotting on next" Elsa shook her head "And things like that aren't really best discussed on the phone"

"Aren't we getting there a bit early?" Kronk said as they drove towards the hill where Kuzco's estate was perched on. "I mean the party doesn't start till seven and it's only six"
Malina wondered how Kronk managed to fit inside her red Mini-Copper and still managed to find room to sew "Well there might me some stuff that Kuzco's uncle might need help in"
"He's got more servants than Peru's soccer team" Kronk said trying to finish the poncho he was making "I'm pretty sure they've got everything out of control"
They had finally reached the gates of the estate when they noticed that most of the security personnel seemed to be running around looking for something "What the heck is going on?"
The man in the guard post answered "Master Kuzco seems to be missing"
"Missing?" Malina repeated "Kronk would you try calling him?"
Kronk quickly searched his pockets for his phone, Malina was not surprised to find it small and pink "Come on pick up pick up pick . . . hey Kuzco are you gonna miss your own party?" he paused for a moment "Oh . . . I see . . . I see . . . well yeah I'm sure they'll all understand . . . ok see ya later" he then hung up.
"Well?" Malina asked.
"Kuzco has some business to attend to so he might come in later in the party and he also said that we should tell his uncle to paint the flamingoes green" Kronk answered.
"That's it" Malina started to steer her car.
"Hey where are we going?" Kronk asked "We didn't tell . . ."
"The flamingoes can wait! We need to find Kuzco!" she said driving the car back down the hill "Who knows what trouble that guy's getting himself into"
Kronk held unto the handle above the window "What makes you think he's getting himself into trouble . . . AND WHY ARE YOU DRIVING SO FAST?"
"Did he say where he was?" Malina didn't mind the protests of his friend.
"He didn't . . . . LOOK FOR THE OLD LADY!" he screamed and closed his eyes as Malina managed to avoid the blind old woman crossing the street. "STOP SPEEDING!"
"OH NO!" Malina realized "He must be in 'the city of god'"
"While we're driving in hell!" Kronk tried to remove the girl's hands from the steering wheel "DON'T YOU DARE TRY GOING IN THERE MALINA WE'RE NOT EVEN SURE IF HE'S EVEN THERE!"
Malina yelled back at him "WE HAVE TO GO IN THERE! WHO KNOWS WHAT KUZCO MUST BE GOING THROUGH RIGHT NOW!?"
/
"Ok we settle this thing nice and easy" Kuzco placed his phone back on his pocket "Either I win and go home with you head or you win and you take my arm"
The man across the table licked his lips "Why do I only take your arm?"
"Cause that's what you wanted when I first stepped in" Kuzco checked his cards once again "And there's no take backs on a wager"
"I guess you're right" the man played with his chips "But it's not like we follow the rules around here" he smirked.
Kuzco gulped "Now Shan . . . don't talk like that . . ."
The Chinese man still played with his chips "You've set me up didn't you?"
"Set you up?" Kuzco laughed "Now who would I set you up with? Sure you maybe some hotshot back then in China but the girls here aren't exactly found of your kind . . . but if you're really open then I guess I find a suitable woman for you"
This made the man pound the table with his fist causing all the chips to flip "Don't play games with me Fonzerelli"
"So you're calling off the game" Kronk shook his head "Tsk tsk tsk, they told me you weren't a good sport and I didn't mind much but seeing you now . . ."
That was when someone opened the door and one of Shan Yu's men came in "Captain there's somebody who managed to break in into the warehouse"
The said man stood up and flipped the table causing Kuzco to fall off his seat and get buried underneath it "I KNEW YOU WERE SPYING!"
"Ouch" Kuzco crawled out from under the table "You didn't have to be so pissed about losing the game"
"This isn't about the game!" the man suddenly produced a machete from his back and pointed the weapon at Kuzco "Tell me who those people are"
"I don't even know what you're talking about!" Kuzco said standing up and dusting the dirt and chips of him "So you've been willing to kill me all along"
"Everyone here wants to kill you" as soon as Shan Yu said that everyone produced a machete or gun and pointed it to Kuzco.
Kuzco chuckled "Wow . . . that was quite a dramatic effect . . ." and before he knew it somebody has struck him in the head and he saw nothing.
/
Malina shook the idea off her head "Ok why would Kuzco have a deal with a Chinese thug anyway" she told herself.
"You seriously have been watching too many mafia movies on your flight back here" Kronk said after finally getting off of the girl's car.
The said girl got off the car as well "I can't believe Kuzco stayed in here for a year" she said looking around the old town. Everything seemed to be colored grey because of the ashes from the fire, the place looked abandoned leaving only a couple of rats and stray dogs running around.
That was when they heard a loud sound.
Malina jumped "What was . . . did someone shoot something?"
"I knew this was a bad idea!" Kronk said grabbing the girl's hand "Why is it that you curious women . . ."
"What are you doing in here?" the two turned around to see a man wearing a poncho and sombrero totally covered in ash had shades covering his face and a M1917 revolver aimed at them.
Kronk stepped forward "Ok I don't know what you're gonna do to us but if you dare try to kill us with that gun . . ."
"Kronk just take the gun away from him!" Malina was slightly panicked.
"What if he shoots me right now?" Kronk responded.
"Guys?" the man lifted his shades.
Malina then took a closer look of the man and her jaw dropped "Kuzco?"
Kronk looked at Malina as though she has grown another head "Kuzco? How can that guy . . ." he also looked at the man "Oh my gosh it's Kuzco"
Kuzco took off the sombrero and the shades "Guys, what are you doing here?"
"Shouldn't we be asking you that?" Malina walked towards him until she saw him in the eye "And what's with the get-up?"
"Uhh . . ." Kuzco rubbed the revolver on his head "It's kind of . . ."
That was when another shot was fired.
"OK WHAT WAS THAT!?" Kronk yelled and turned to see a small man holding a pistol "THAT WAS YOU?"
The small man nodded unsure.
"WHY THAT'S IT!" at this Kronk started to charge for the man.
Kuzco ran to stop the man "Kronk no! That guy's with the police!"

It was a silent night at the Pendragon estate and most of its occupants were fast asleep, this was not the case for the owner and his wife. They were currently in their quarters and as usual Lady Igraine was brushing her hair while her husband changed into his bed clothes.
"Is there something troubling you again dear?" the woman asked seeing her husband's expression from the mirror.
"It's my brother" Uther replied busy taking the buttons of his shirt "He keeps pestering on the Vinterdotter's last will"
Igraine paused her brushing and turned to her husband "Honestly, is there anything that interests that brother of yours expect wealth and power"
"You know very well that's not what he wants" he said finally taking his shirt off "What he really wants is wreaking havoc"
"He was a mistake and the man knows it" she laid her brush on her dresser "Don't tell me he's even offering his son to marry young Elsa"
"He's not offering, he's forcing it" Uther opened his dresser and took out his bed shirt "If I don't do anything later he might want to take the sister's custody to court"
Igraine stood up "Now that is preposterous! That man couldn't even raise his own son how can he raise two young girls?"
That was when there was a knocking on the door and it was Fauna "Madam there's a call for you from Mr. Palladino"
"Oh I'll be there" Igraine went with the maid leaving Uther alone in the room.
The man had finally changed into his pajamas and was about to lift the covers of his bed when he heard something tapping on the windows. The man quickly turned towards the large windows in the suite that were currently covered by curtains he then lifted the obstruction only to find nothing.
He quickly lowered the curtains and went to bed, he noted that his wife's phone call was taking a while. He was about to switch the lights off when he felt a sudden breeze enter the room, at this the man suddenly went alert. The last time he felt this was when someone had tried to assassinate the queen during her wedding day.
The man quickly opened his bedside drawer to take out his gun, he then slowly stepped out of his bed. Again there was a noise this time it was coming from the bathroom so Uther quickly headed for the said room, as soon as he opened the bathroom door he gasped to see a large hole on the window.
He then turned around only to meet a pair of yellow eyes.
"Good evening brother" the man smiled before hitting Uther's head and knocking him out, as his brother fell to the floor the gun flew into the bedroom.
Chernobog smiled "A gun? So you want me to shoot your wife and son? What a marvelous idea" he said picking up the weapon from the floor "But first and foremost I want to make sure you're with your mother and our father"
He dragged the man's foot and led him into the bedroom he then brought out a set of knives from his coat "Let's see how loud your screams will be" he said striking the first knife unto his left foot.
Uther woke up screaming as Chernobog thrust the knife through his foot and unto the floor "VLAD WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
"Simply entertaining myself" he then did the same thing to his right foot.
"ARRRGGGGHHH AAAAAAAHHHHHH" the man screamed, he tried to stand up and put up a fight but his brother was too quick and pinned him down.
He shook his finger "Why brother don't waste your energy, the night is still young" he smiled before punching the man in the face.
Uther managed to hit the man in the face as well which sent him slightly off.
"My you're quite a squirmier" Chernobog grabbed his right hand spread his palm on the floor and struck another knife he did the same to his other hand. "There that will keep you from moving too much"
Chernobog then took something from Uther's closet and the said man's eyes widened when he realized what it was "You're a coward Vlad, facing me like this!"
"Just admit the fact that you are a weak man" Chernobog said un sheathing Uther's sword "Just because your mother was more known than mine doesn't mean you have power over me"
"If you slay me tonight you'll regret the consequences that will follow" Uther looked at the man "Sooner or later you shall fall a worse if not similar faith"
Chernobog pointed the knife at Uther's stomach "Oh, if you're referring to your son taking revenge I shall be willing to take his life as well and your wife's, don't worry about the servants though they were always better cooks than mine"
"I hope death comes more cruelly towards you" Uther hissed.
"Oh, don't worry I'll make sure you're death comes slow and painful as possible" he smirked as he slowly opened his brother as though he was a pig and needed to open its belly.

Arthur gasped.
He was in his room in Sir Kay's home in Oxford Street, far away from the Pendragon estate far away from the burnt bodies of his parents and Fauna . . .
After recalling the last scene of his dream Arthur quickly ran towards the bathroom and barfed on the toilet bowl. After a few minutes of throwing up Arthur reached for the flush to drain his vomit. It had been awhile since he had dreamt of his father dying, when he was still a boy and the incident was still fresh he used to avoid sleeping just to get away from those dreams.
Sometimes he would dream of his mother being shot, sometimes he would dream of Fauna's body hanging from the kitchen, it was torture watching his father die because he usually had several versions of it one being more treacherous than the next. It did not help when he found out how he died from his uncle and it just made Arthur queasy again.
Over the years the boy had managed to block out these memories and lock up the angst and the anger he had deep within himself to avoid any complications that would stop him from having a normal life.
A normal life, he realized was not something Vlad Chernobog would allow for him nor the Vinterdotter sisters. Heck everyone around him was slowly getting affected and it was making him slightly paranoid.
"I need some coffee" the boy decided as he got up from the bathroom floor. He was about to leave the room when he heard his phone ringing, after scavenging his floor (he hadn't cleaned since he got there) he finally got it and answered "Taran, if you're gonna ask me for the 78th time . . . yes you know very well how accurate that is . . ."
"He's called you that much?" came the very feminine Scottish voice that indicated that person was certainly not Taran.
Arthur paused before replying "Trust me it gets annoying when he starts calling you in loo"
"I see, hey why you up so late?" Merida asked.
At once the boy checked the time on his bedside clock telling him it was ten minutes to four in the morning of Christmas day "I'm actually up early"
"Oh are you, I was actually surprised you picked up" Merida was tapping her fingers "I kinda couldn't sleep"
"Wow is my voice that boring to you" Arthur left his room "Let's see if I have a copy of the Constitution and I'll be glad to read it to you"
Merida snorted "Oh I won't be sleeping to that, I'll probably just yell at every article you read"
He tiptoed down the stairs not wanting to disturb Sir Ector before running towards the kitchen "Yeah, you Highlanders just love to declare your freedom"
"Oh we do" she answered "So how bout you why you up so . . . early"
"Had a bad dream" he said turning on the lights "Dreamt about Professor Hades using the table again"
Merida actually pictured the scene in her mind "Hey maybe you're the one who wants some time with the table"
He nearly dropped the tea cup "Maybe the manhole cover would be a better choice, you know easier access"
"You have a very dirty mind Mr. Pendragon" Merida waved her finger "If I was there I would grab the nearest soap and chunk it down your throat"
"If you do could you use those that are stuck in plastics, the ones the look like candy" he then wondered why he was making tea when he wanted coffee "Damn I made the wrong thing"
"So really what was your dream" Merida asked.
"I told you perverted . . ." He was cut off.
"Come on I can tell you're lying" Merida tossed in her bed. "I know you more than you think"
Arthur snorted "I didn't know my clothes gave that much away, by the way I know you still have them"
"There there it is!" Merida sat up from her bed "You're switching the topic"
"Cause you still have my . . ."
"Come on tell me"
"That shirt actually costs . . ."
"I'm not listening . . ."
"Why were you screaming my name in your sleep" Arthur said turning off the boiling kettle.
Merida went silent for a moment "How many times did Taran call you again?"
"78, now explain" he poured out the tea.
Merida did some weird noise with her mouth "You're not the only ones with bad dreams you know"
"Oooooo, did I get eaten by a bear by any chance?" he sat on a chair.
"I was actually hunting for a bear" Merida decided there was no point in hiding anyway "I dreamt of you dying in a burning house"
Arthur paused before taking a sip of his tea "Would you mind describing it to me"
"I was hunting for a bear, then I came up a burning house then three women told me to save the children and turns out the children were you, Elsa and Anna" Merida leaned her head against the headboard "I could only get Elsa and Anna because some post fell on you and you kept telling me to take them and not you"
He slammed the tea cup on the table "Hey Merida . . ."
"What? Weird dream?" the Scot waved her hand "Yeah I didn't know what got to me"
"No it's just . . ." he scratched the side of his face "Did Elsa tell you what happened that night?"
"She just told me your parents died and you managed to escape" Merida eyes widened "Don't tell me he burned the place down as well"
"It was my dad" he finally said.
"You're dad burned the house?" she asked.
"No" he looked out the window he was sure the sun would come out any minute now "I had a dream about my dad"

"Mama, are you there?" Esmeralda knocked on the door of her mother's room on the evening of their Christmas party.
When she receive no reply she checked if the door was locked when she found out that she wasn't she decided to open the door "Mama . . . Doña De Espadaña is looking for you" she said entering.
Her mother was quite easy to spot because of her platinum blonde hair that almost looked white from afar and it usually glowed whenever there was moonlight. "Mama . . ." Esmeralda approached her mother who was sitting on a rocking chair facing the window.
"Stay there" came her voice it sounded tired probably from talking to all the guests that night "I just needed a break"
"Oh I see sorry" Esmeralda was about to leave.
"I told you to stay there" the woman had a wine glass in her hand "There are some matters I wish to discuss with you"
Esmeralda retreated from the door and went back to the place where she stood a few seconds ago "Does this involve . . . my baby . . ."
"So it's true" Mirage took the rest of her drink before slamming it to a nearby table "You're pregnant with Phoebus"
Esmeralda gulped "Well there's no point in hiding it"
"I had to hear the news from Chaca when she started asking me on what the baby's name should be" she adjusted her seating position "The rest I heard from Chica"
Esmeralda had failed to inform her mother of her condition for the rest of her stay no matter how many times Pacha had given her the opportunity, it just always seemed inappropriate for her.
"Why didn't you tell me at once" Mirage stood up still not facing her daughter.
"I . . . umm . . . didn't want you to get upset" Esmeralda realized what she said "I mean . . ."
"You don't think I'm upset now!" Mirage finally turned to face her and she could see her eyes were now red and her make-up was slightly ruined.
"Ma . . ."
"Esme, you know very well the reason why I offer my soul to those demons who work in Syndrome why I missed most out of your life even though I badly wanted to attend your quinceanera why I hardly sleep at night just thinking on how you're doing studying abroad!" Mirage tried to regain her breath "Just to make sure you don't end up like me"
By now Esmeralda was already crying "I'm sorry . . . I . . . I just . . . if you want me to . . . to . . . remove it . . ."
"REMOVE IT?" Mirage approached her daughter "That thing is not some tumor that you 'remove it' it's a human being!"
"I can't do anything else could I?" Esmeralda answered back "It's already there, I'm sorry but it looks like I'll be graduating with a kid"
Mirage ran a hand over her hair "I guess I failed as a mother" she turned to refill her wineglass and drank it in one go "I've been trying so hard to prevent this from happening . . . well then again, you're already graduating . . ."
"Mama you weren't a terrible mother" Esmeralda approached her "It was my own fault, I messed up big time but I'm willing to own up to my mistakes and I learned that from you"
"I need some time alone Esme" Mirage placed the glass back on the table "There are somethings in which I wanna think about"
The girl nodded before quietly leaving the room when Esmeralda got out she was greeted by her aunt Chica.
"She's still not getting out?" the woman tapped her foot on the ground "Honestly, I can't cook while entertaining the guests she has one thing to do and she doesn't even do it properly!"
Esmeralda tried to defend her mother "I think she needs a break . . ."
"A BREAK? Oh no she does not" Chica then stormed into Mirage's room and slammed the door "Mirage get your moping butt off that rocking chair right now!"
Mirage groaned "You're still cooking?"
"Of course I'm still cooking!" she smacked the girl's head with the wooden spoon she held "I was entertaining the guests as well how could I finish cooking while doing that?"
Mirage stood up grabbed the wooden spoon then broke it with her knee "What about Pacha?"
"WOMAN WHY DID YOU BREAK THE SPOON!" Chica yelled as loud that some of the guests downstairs heard it "How do think I'll be able to cook the Pringá now? Huh?"
"We have a metal spoon downstairs" Mirage pointed "And that thing is painful"
"Why good idea, I'll hit you harder with that thing!" Chica then proceeded to get it when she stopped and turned around "Have you been crying?"
Mirage glared at her sister "No I decided to go for a new look"
"Susmariojosep!" Chica raised her hands "Are you still mad about Esmeralda getting pregnant?"
Mirage looked away.
"Oh come on!" Chica placed her hands on her hips "Look at her Esmeralda is already graduating from University and I'm pretty sure she'll be one of the top students as well if you've seen her record" she waved her hand "Unlike you who got pregnant when you were just starting highschool and you even failed three subjects twice"
"I would have passed if I wasn't six months pregnant then" Mirage answered her sister back "Also mother didn't want anything to do with me so I had to give birth not only alone but I had to feed Esme with the money I got from three jobs"
"Wow! ALONE?" Chica slow clapped "Have you forgotten that it was me and Pacha who had to look for you and sent you and Esme to a hospital we even paid for all those shots she had to have!"
Mirage crossed her arms "I didn't ask for your help"
"THAT'S THE PROBLEM WITH YOU!" Chica yelled at her face "You refuse to seek the help of others, just because mother turned you down doesn't mean the entire world will" she pointed at her "Just because Esme's father left you doesn't mean the same thing will happen to her I've talked to the man and he's willing to do anything to provide for his wife and child"
Mirage snorted "They'll only say that at first"
"THAT MAN NEVER SHOWED HIS FACE TO US!" Chica was on a roll "Not only did he introduce himself to us, stayed with us for the holidays heck he even offered to all the groceries before I ordered Pacha to do so, even Tippo and Yupi like him!"
Mirage remained silent.
"Look just moping around will undo what's already been done, it's better to accept the fact and move on" Chica went towards the door "So go retouch your make-up and talk to that annoying Doña De Espadaña she's giving me a headache"

It was Christmas morning and Anna had been trying to Face-Time with Merida and greet her a Merry Christmas but it appears that the woman was probably asleep, she couldn't call Tiana because she knew it was probably still Christmas Eve for them.
She laid down in her bed, she had just finished her breakfast went to who knows where leaving her alone in the house. "I guess I better open my presents" she then sat up "Wait . . ." she quickly went over to her desk drawer and brought out gift that was wrapped in purple wrapping paper and had a red bow on it with a card stuck into it.
She opened the card and read it aloud "Merry Christmas, I'm returning this to you Arthur" she then untied the ribbon and removed the gift wrapping "A diary?" she held the purple leather bound journal that had a lock with its dangling from the side.
"Returning . . ." Anna gasped and held the thing in front of her "Don't tell me this . . ." she quickly placed the key and opened the diary "June 21 . . . this was my diary when I was eight!"
She closed it before looking out her door to see if anyone was there before looking it and sitting down on her bed "Dear Die-a-ree my sister didn't give that nice uniaecorn purse-a-lane . . . porcelain . . . doll that I wanted and got me this stuhphid die-a-ree instead" she looked over her first entry "Man was I that bad at spelling then?"
"Dear Die-a-ree, my sister said I spelled uniaecorn wrong and it should have been U-N-I-C-O-R-N. But I think that it's reeely rude that she red my D-I-A-R-Y it's suposed to be sekret ryt?" Anna laughed "I wonder how he got a hold of this?"
She then went over to the others pages, she wasn't surprised that she hadn't used the thing until she was ten where her spelling was actually better and she wrote more stuff.
She smiled reading the entries which included baking cookies with her mother, going on boating trips with her father and going on ski trips with the whole family. In one page she found a photo of them they seemed to be in some tropical island and Anna was seated on her father's lap beaming at the camera with Elsa next to her mother both smiling.
She touched the photo, Elsa had only managed to save a few photos after the fire and they were mostly the formal portraits. It was rare to see a photo where the Vinterdotter clan was simply a family.
Tears where starting to roll down her face "Oh crap I'm being emotional" she wiped her face and quickly closed the diary.
When she closed the book something had fallen off from the book when she got to pick it up it was a picture of what seems to be the first time they went to the Pendragon estate. The three of them were standing in front of the gate Arthur had an awkward smile, Elsa didn't seem to show expression while Anna seemed surprised that there was a camera.
She turned the picture to see a map drawn by most probably them as children there was an x that had start written in it, a river then circles that said cows and horses and a church which had another x mark "The World the Children Made" she read the words written.
"Anna" Elsa knocked on the door "Are you there"
The said girl quickly placed the photo back in the diary and placed the diary inside her drawer before answering the door "Oh hey, you're back"
"Yeah, why did you lock the door?" Elsa asked.
"I must have locked it without realizing it" Anna did a peace sign "So did you need me for something?"
"Don't you want to open Christmas presents, they just delivered several boxes when I got here" Elsa explained.
Anna beamed "Alright let's go" she quickly shut her room and followed her sister to the living room where indeed there were several wrapped presents.
"Alright!" Anna ran ahead and quickly opened the first boxes while Elsa shook her head and followed the girl.
They had opened three gifts each when Anna suddenly asked "Hey Elsa, does the World that the Children Made ring a bell to you"
Elsa had just opened her gift from Aurora which turned out to be honey pots "It does sound familiar . . . I think it's from . . . a book I just don't remember" she turned to her "Why ask?"
"Oh it's just this thing Tiana's posting on twitter that I don't get" Anna lied "I assumed it was something you would know"
"You should ask Arthur on that" Elsa went over to her next gift "He used to recite Robert Frost and Walt Whitman from the back of his head"
Anna stood up "Or I could just google it"
"Yes you could do that" Elsa looked up "Where are you going"
"To look it up" Anna said before running towards her room and opening her laptop. She had no idea why she was so curious on the thing it was simply something they written when they were children, but there was something in her gut telling her that there was something more to that.
She quickly typed the line and what came out was the Veldt "A deadmau5 song?" she shook her head "Nah, probably this . . . Ray Bradbury . . . so it is a children's story after all" she then though "Must have liked the story so . . ."
The grass . . .
The nursery . . .
Everything was all too real.
"Children are carpets, they should be stepped on occasionally" Anna recited the line as though it were the first words she had learned.
