Chapter 88; Goodbye, Universe 4! Bring it on, Universe 3!!
Hikaru became busy fighting someone form Universe 3 until that fighter suddenly fell out of the ring. We all began to sense someone else here.
"You sense that? Someone else is here." Kin said.
"Yeah." Me, Tsuki, and Drake said in unison.
"Something is going on the battlefield, my lord." Whis said.
"Yes, I can see that, Whis!" Beerus said. "But why can't we see who's attacking them?!".
"We can't see their body. We can't see their attacks. We can't see anything. Maybe they're invisible. Like that old story of the Invisible Man." Akihiko said.
"Oh, yeah right! Invisible beings don't exist!" Beerus said.
"Hehehe! Nice guess, blondie." Quitela said.
"Wait, you actually have one of those?!" Beerus questioned in surprise.
"I think we're now fighting someone invisible!" Danuja said.
"No, Really?" Drake said to Danuja sarcastically.
Danuja pouts. "Jerk."
"This just gives me an idea!" Luck said.
"Hm? What?" I questioned.
"Try all you like! Nothing you do will stop us!" Quitela said confidently.
"Go get them, Gamisala! Show them all the true power of the 3rd Universe!" Quitela shouted out.
After a few seconds, Luck jumped up into the air and began to shoot Ki blasts at the ground to create a smokescreen out of dust.
"Good grief, you actually thought that could work? Gamisalas is a pro! You won't hit him with blind attacks! Heh." Quitela said. "You won't catch him and you won't avoid him either. Here's what you will do. You'll sap your precious energy till there's nothing left! You heard me! And once you're drained, he'll knock you out of the ring!"
"Wait a minute... Look!" Akihiko shouted out.
"What the...?" Quitela questioned.
We were then able to spot the Invisible man.
"There you are!!" I heard Hikaru shout out as he fired off a Energy Wave at the Invisible Man.
The Invisible Man was sent flying out of the ring by Hikaru's Energy Wave.
"You see that, Quitela? Your dirty tricks won't work." Beerus said confidently. "Not against the might of the Seventh! It's all over!".
After that, we were all stuck in a illusion with all the fighters we already defeated. Tsuki managed to find the one casting the Illusion and sent the fighter out of the ring with a Powerful Ki blast. The illusions vanish, but the second fighter still remains and continues his attack. Universe 4's final fighter, Damom, is apparently another invisible person, but unlike Gamisalas, he is unable to suppress his ki. We all jumped back together with our backs against each other.
"What now, Tatsuya?!" Tsuki asked me.
"Just stay calm! Do not panic!" I said.
"Destroy them all! Knock them out of the Ring, Damom!" Quitela shouted out.
"That damn rat!" Beerus said angrily.
Kin then got attacked by Damom and was almost eliminated.
"Oh no! Kin!!" Akihiko shouted out in worry.
I saved Kin with my Instant Transmission before he fell off of the ring.
"Are you okay? That was close." I said.
"I'm fine." Kin replied.
Me and Kin stood our ground against the last invisible member until I heard Kin say; "I see now. But Of course."
"Huh?" I questioned.
Kin jumps onto a boulder and stands still with his eyes closed as he said; "Hey! Come on! It's my turn! Come at me! I'm waiting." Kin'd taunting made Damom come over to attack him.
Not distracted by sight or ki-sensing, Kin's attacks zero in on Damom.
"What the?" I questioned.
"But how?" I heard Akihiko say.
"The rest of us can feel his energy, but that'll only lead your theories confuse you." Kin said. "We're not dealing with a ghost or another invisible being. The reason we're not hitting him is far more simple."
Kin zeros in on Damom and shoots a Ki blast at him. This finally reveal his true nature: a tiny bug person.
"We're fighting an insect." Kin said.
"Whoa. Awesome job, Kin!" Akihiko said.
"Whoa, a bug person?" I said in surprise. "Yeah, you're right! Well, that explains it!".
"Our attacks weren't landing because we didn't realize how small he was. So that's it." Tsuki said.
"Tch. We were too focused on his energy instead of using our other senses." I heard Drake say. "I can't believe we missed the sounds he was making."
"Yes, I see. Since his teammate was invisible, they clung to their preconceived notion that he was, as well." Whis said.
"And his energy alone is misleading, as it's far greater than his actual size. Most deceptive." Kaio-Shin said.
Knowing Damom's secret, it became difficult for me and Kin to manage to hit such a small and fast opponent as we tried to hit or capture him.
"Damn it. The little guy's too fast to catch!" I said.
"Hmm. I got something." Kin said.
"What?".
"This insect doesn't have wings. Have you noticed how he always jumps into the air to dodge our attacks?" Kin asked.
"Now that you mention it... Yeah. You're right." I said. "He hasn't flown this whole time."
"If we make it so he can't jump, he won't get away." Kin said. "Then if we aim for the center of his energy, it could Create an opportunity."
"Yeah. Smart thinking, Kin." I said.
"This should do it!" I said before I punched the ground, destroying it and making it hard for the bug escape.
I repeatedly punches the arena to throw Damom off enough as Kin then captured him within a tiny barrier.
"Oh yeah! We got him!" I said excitedly.
"Hang on! Let's talk about this! Don't do it!" Damom cried out.
Kin then kicked Damom out of the arena.
With Team Universe 4 defeated, the Zenos prepare to Erase them as Quitela refused to accept this and tries to take everyone else down with him, but before he could, he and the rest of Universe 4 ceased to exist.
"The Fourth Universe has been obliterated." The Grand Priest announced.
The only remaining teams in the battle for survival are the Third, Us; the Seventh, and the Eleventh Universe. The competition continues to intensify as it barrels to the end. There are 12 minutes until the end of the Tournament of Power.
"The good news is we've still got nine fighters left on our team." Luck said. "But now that we're in the final stretch, we'll have to work even harder to survive. Just take a look at who we're up against."
We took a look at Universe 11.
"Tch. Those circus performers from the eleventh." Hikaru grunted.
"We knew we'd have to deal with El Hermano and his teammates eventually, and I guess that time is now." I said.
"Not necessarily, Brother." Luck said. "We could choose to fight the Eleventh, but there's another team to worry about." Luck said.
We then noticed the Third Universe.
"Universe 3, right?" Danuja asked.
"Yeah. Universe 3 still have five in the ring. Only 4 less than us." I heard Akihiko said. "So we can't exactly count them out just yet."
"We've managed to hang on while so many have fallen." Kaio-Eyre of the Third Universe said. "It would seem the survival strategy of the Third Universe has been executed almost as brilliantly as it was devised."
Following Mosco's orders which was sent to their scientist; Paparoni, assembles the other four remaining Universe 3 warriors, and together they go after our Team, Team Universe 7. I began to fight off a green robot from Universe 3 as Luck and Hikaru began to fight off against one of the robots from Universe 3 as well.
"Damn, these fighters are coming at us like crazy!" I said.
"You guys all right?" I heard Gochi asked before her and Drake were attacked by a robot from behind them.
"Right now, I think we need to make sure we're all right." Drake said.
Drake and Gochi began to team up against the one who attacked them from behind.
"Biarra's capabilities make him one of the two greatest defensive specialists in our universe. He will patiently wear down their stamina and then turn the tables on them. Just as we predicted!" Kaio-Eyre said.
Me and Hikaru jumped next to each other as we were pushed back by two of the robots from Universe 3. Me and Hikaru both took on our fighting stances.
"Bring it, you junkyard scraps! I'll knock the bolts right out of you!" Hikaru threatened.
The Two robots dashed towards us and right as they threw a punch at us, Luck appeared in front of us caught their punches.
"Luck!" I said in surprise.
"Please, Brother. Trust me. I can fight these guys on my own." He said.
Luck throws them back and then pushes them back with a powerful Ki blast.
Luck unleashed his clear-silky white aura as he then says to them; "Come on! I'll take you on your whole team myself!".
"Tch. If you lose, it'll be on you, Luck." Hikaru said.
"Is he really trying to defeat them single-handedly?" Kaio-Shin asked.
"If the Third's knocked out, it'll be a showdown with El Hermano's squad. Luck must be trying to save Tatsuya and Hikaru's strength for that final battle." Dad said.
"That's a smart play." Beerus said.
"Luck may not seem like it, but he has my level of brilliance in battle. It's one of his best traits he's got from me." Dad said. "Thinking several moves ahead is nothing to me and him!".
"Come on, Luck! You can do it!" Akihiko cheered.
The Three Robots began to anticipate Luck's moves as they began to fight. Luck still managed to push all three of them back as he began to fire off a barrage of Ki blasts at them.
"Those guys are pretty strong, and Luck's giving them a real challenge. That's my Half-Brother for ya." I said confidently.
"He fended off an impressive combination move all by himself!" Kaio-Shin said in awe.
Drake and Gochi continued to fight Biarra until they all jumped back.
"Give up." Biarra said.
"You're a lot tougher than I thought." Gochi said.
"And all this time, I thought you would be a bore." Drake said.
Drake fired off a Ki blast at Biarra.
"You waste your time." Biarra commented as he swatted away the Ki blast.
Drake and Gochi began to gradually wear down Biarra's defenses with an endless barrage of ki blasts. Biarra collapses after cracks form in his armor.
"I'm sorry, did we actually hurt Mr. Invincible?" Gochi asked.
"Heh. No offense, but just standing there taking our attacks is about the dumbest strategy I've ever seen." Drake said.
"Buckle up, 'cause you're going for a ride!" Gochi said.
Gochi then kicks Biarra, knocking him out of bounds.
"Contestant Biarra of the Third Universe is eliminated." The Grand Priest announced.
"No no no! Not Biarra! How could they defeat him? Why didn't his approach work? Don't those two ever get tired?" Kaio-Eyre questioned frustratedly.
"Sorry, but those two are also my kids. And in our family, we rarely get tired since all we love to do is train and fight strong opponents!" Dad said proudly.
"Excellent work, you guys!" Akihiko said.
"Luck seems to be easily handling the other combatants from the Third. This does bode well." Kaio-Shin said.
"This is the end of the line. I'll finish this!" Luck said.
"You've got it backwards, my boy. It's not the end, it's only the beginning! The real fight starts now!" Paparoni said. "For your sake, I hope you're ready."
"For what?" Luck questioned.
"For Plan X. Programming Phase. Engage!" Paparoni announced.
The Three robots then combined into one powerful robot.
"Set functionality to maximum level, 1,256%! Show them the true power of the Third Universe's collective warriors! Koicéareta!" Paparoni said.
"Do you feel that? Their energy just shot up like a rocket!" I said.
"Tch. Well, that's annoying." Hikaru said.
"Even if their clumsy-looking combination is more powerful, Luck should still be able to handle it, right?" Kaio-Shin said.
The Eleventh Universe began to watch our fight with the Third as I heard Top say; "It seems the Third still had one more pesky trick up its sleeve."
I noticed Snow watching the fight from the sidelines as I heard him say; "Just when their little fight was beginning to bore me, things take another fascinating turn. I think I'll stay up here and enjoy the carnage."
Luck's initial barrage of ki blasts has no effect on Kochiarator, who despite his large size proves to also be faster than before. As Luck struggles to block one of Kochiarator's attacks, Me and Hikaru suddenly rush in and knock Kochiarator away.
"Seriously?!" Luck questioned.
"I'm sorry I barged in on you like that while you're takin' out the trash, Luck." I said to him. "But thanks to the rest you bought me I've got some strength back, and there's no way we can just stand around on the sidelines without getting our licks in, too."
"I've got it. Then let's fight together." Luck suggested.
"If they love trios so much then We'll give them our own." Hikaru said. "Those scrap-metal jokers won't last a minute against three Saiyan Warriors!"
"Hah!" Hikaru shouts out as he transforms into his Super Saiyan Blue Form.
"All right, Luck, let's go!" I said as I transformed into my Super Saiyan Blue Form.
"Right!" Luck says as he powers up a bit.
We dashed towards the Kochiarator and manage to push it back with a punch from all three of us. Kochiarator fires off an energy wave at us as Me and Hikaru fires off an Energy wave of our own at it.
"What? They're driving him back?" Paparoni questioned. "There's no way my greatest masterpiece can be outdone! Koicéareta! Never give up! Never surrender!".
with Paparoni's encouragement, Kochiarator manages to counters our blasts in the end.
"Unbelievable! He managed to block their blasts!" Akihiko said.
"Imbeciles! Perhaps now even your organic minds understand the power of the Third's combined warrior! And that there's no way you can stop him from crushing you!" Paparoni said confidently.
"I wouldn't be so sure about that." I said.
"You're the real imbecile here." Hikaru said.
"And why's that?" Paparoni asked.
Paparoni looks up and sees Luck charging up an attack of his own in the air.
"I never would have gotten this chance without my brother, Tatsuya, and Hikaru's help, and there's no way I'm gonna waste it!" Luck said.
"I see, they were just buying time for Luck to charge his energy." Beerus said.
"Those guys sure know how to win." The Old Kai said.
"Here's my Full Power!" Luck said as he fires off his own energy wave at Koicéareta.
Luck nails Koicéareta with a Kamehameha that eventually breaks through the merged warrior's guard.
"Luck! You did it, Brother." I said, giving Luck a thumbs up.
"We did." Luck said, giving me a thumbs up.
"He had a small opening, and he made the most of it with a well-executed attack. Even as a giant, combined warrior, they were still no match for three Saiyans." Kaio-Shin said.
"You've made your destroyer proud, boy. Well done, Luck." Beerus said.
Me, Hikaru, and Luck noticed Paparoni still in the ring as we walked towards him.
"I figured you went over the side, and yet here you are. You're one stubborn bastard." Hikaru said.
"Sorry, but you need to leave the ring. Last warning." Luck said.
Paparoni starts to laugh.
"What the hell are you laughing about?" Hikaru asked.
"I was hoping I could avoid this, but you leave me no choice." Paparoni said as he got back up. "I'm going to knock every last one of you out of the Tournament, even if it costs me my life! You're about to face the ultimate, secret technique of the Third Universe, from which there is no escape!"
Koicéareta suddenly appears behind Paparoni. There are 10 minutes until the end of the Tournament of Power.
