Bright lights clouded my vision, is this it? Am I dead?
"Welcome back" I heard a familiar voice speak up.
Vampy?
"I am welcome" I muttered unconsciously still a bit woozy from the drugs.
A small laugh echoed through my… home? Yes, right. I shot up from my bed.
"What happened?" I asked not sparing a minute.
"Why don't you first drink some water and calm down" I looked at the vampire in disbelief.
"Don't worry, everything is fine" he finally spoke making me take a breath in relief. Using his super speed, he rushed and brought me water.
"Charlie… wants to take your custody back" making me choke on water.

"Why? Don't you want that?" he asked confused. I stared at him for a second before answering.
How do I explain…?
About what's happening to me?
"I… would love that but that's impossible." This time making Edward look at me in disbelief.
"… I fail to understand you," he said letting out a breath. And I… wanted to smack him… he out of all people should understand my situation. "I know for a fact that you always wanted to find your real family… doesn't that mean you want to be with them?" he asked leaning back on the wall.
I sighed. If only…
"You're not wrong… I want to be with them… and will try my best to…" I admitted I wanted to be with them but definitely not live with them… " I mean I don't want to live with them and you know why…" I told him, my eyebrows scrunching together.
"You forget that I'm not human," I told a lump forming in my throat. I realized at this moment that… I don't really accept… what I am… I bit the inside of my cheek.
What is wrong with me? Why do I always have to confuse myself?
He nodded in understanding. "I get it" he reassured
"Now… why don't we meet your dad," he said with his signature crooked smile.
I smiled slightly getting up. My vision blurred slightly as I blinked.
"Are you ok?" he asked, in return making me nod. I hate being like this, I feel weak and I hate it.
"Let's go," I said walking down the staircase.
"Oh!" I spoke before opening the door. "What happened to Laura and Ross?"
Amusement overtook his features but he was quick to hide it. "let's just say Charlie said a few things and they had to leave" Why is he trying not to laugh?
"Anyways you won't be seeing or hearing from them for a long long time," he said wrapping a hand around my shoulders "Cheer up," he said with a slight laugh.
