First Off… Thank You to all of you for staying around, even though I have not been as active as I have in the past.

So… "Secrets Vol One" is a thing and I have been keeping to my posting schedule, but considering I have the whole work complete, that is the easy part. Thank you to everyone who is taking the time to enjoy the revision of that idea. I know it's a major annoyance when a story if going, then the author stops to restart it completely. (And I see to do that a lot, don't I?) Anyway, I hope everyone is enjoying the rework. Without GeraltRex and Cyberink's assistance and feedback, I don't think it would have been as half as good as it has turned out.

So WHY am I doing these "rewrites"? Good question… I started doing FF as an excuse to write without using my brain for much but churning out words. Which when you consider my earlier works, it's obvious nothing had a plan. "Secrets Vol 1" was a concerted effort to work with in an outline/plan.

TBH, I want my stuff to be good, and enjoyable. Yes I can do random insanity, but I feel if you guys are taking time out of your day to not only read, but also offer feedback and opinions on my works, it's only fair that I put effort into producing quality work and not gibberish. And let's be honest… I have posted a lot of gibberish.

Anyway… I'm o R, posting gibberish AT novankenn (I hate that I can't put links.) If you want to see stupidity, and unplanned stuff.

Now for some serious Updates…

Secrets Vol 2… is in the works. With the help of Cyperink and GeraltRex I have started on the outline, and hope to start producing chapters before the end of the summer. It will work the same as "Vol 1". Nothing will be posted until it's complete, at which point I will do the same. Prologue and Chapter One, followed by a weekly posting of subsequent chapters. I'm actually excited on how this will turn out.

Monster…is going to get the SAME treatment as "Secrets" did. It is by far my most read and commented on story, but I'm not happy with the quality. It's very haphazard, and filled with abandoned plots in addition to missed opportunities. "Monster" could be better, and it will be.

Through the Darkened Veil... the long awaited (by some) sequel to "Into the Darkened Veil". I want to write it, but TBH I'm apprehensive as to how to move forward. TtDV" was my first completed fic… but I know it was a bloated and a little meh. SO while there is nothing on paper just yet, I am working on it. For those who want the sequel… I will make it happen, just hold on for a bit longer.

Possibilities… there are SO, SO MANY parts of that collection that I want to follow up on… "Arisen" and "Family" just to mention two examples. I have time management issues (among other things) so I do have other additions to that series, and I have started on some expansions to stories that are there. The PLAN is for me to set aside a day or two a week when all I do when I write is work on this series… adding to it or expanding what's already there.

There's probably other things I could be saying, or should be saying, but that's the gist of what has been going on with me in regard to writing.

I can't say this enough… THANK YOU for taking time to read what I have posted. THANK YOU as well to everyone who has offered feedback, be it a simple comment or a more in depth review pointing out where I could have done better.

So I think that's about it. Like I mentioned, I am o R, being an idiot, I am also on AO3 (same pen name as FF) which is mostly the same stuff as here, but there are some exclusives on each site. (Monster for FF). I also hav D… if you want to discuss and give feed back on ideas and chapter before they are publicly posted, hit me up. It's a safe place and we are open to even discussing your own works if you are a writer or thinking of being one.
