Chapter Five

(Wesker and Maleficent's P.O.V.)

Wesker was looking over his notes on the new B.O.W's that his sister and Luis were creating. The new weapons were coming along nicely but still needed time to grow to full strength. He was surprisingly happy with the outcome so far, despite a few drawbacks. He looked at the screen as he saw Sora's group, Jake and Lanna's group in three different sections of the castle but were relatively close to each though they didn't know it yet. He smirked as he saw how broken Lanna was.

"Tsk, she'll be out for awhile..."

"I see you've been busy, Wesker." Maleficent says appearing from green and black flames appearing a small distance behind him. Alerting Luis and Alex who saw her admiring the work they've done so far.

"Heh, we have," Wesker said looking up. "We have four new developing B.O.W.'s in the lab now due to Alex's and Luis's knowledge." He glanced at Luis's face, seeing it was blank and unfeeling but he knew he got a twitch out of the man.

"Wonderful, I've just got through watching Lanna's little drama with her dear mother. I do believe Jake could be useful to test your new B.O.W.s out if you need a test rat to pit against them." Maleficent suggests remembering what she saw in the fight. Plus a part of her felt vengeful for Claire's shot at her about how soft hearted fools had beaten her.

Maybe watching him die trying to rescue Sherry would shut that trap.

Wesker chuckled. "Yes, I saw," he said having enjoyed the video. "Yes, he would be very useful...Have they returned yet?" He meant Simmons and Pete with their new 'guests'. He hadn't heard from them as he had been busy with his work and watching the hero's go through hell. He had been moved by Jake's speech but it made him feel sick to see such emotion from an ex cold merc. He knew what drove them.

He stood up, stretching like a cat as he brought up the developing monsters. "I'm looking forward to seeing this new fight..."

"I'm expecting them soon, Sherry tried to put up a fight, but with the heartless was reportedly subdued without much trouble or harm." Maleficent explains what she's been told by Simmons over a private line thanks to Wesker's computer. Though she wondered what he needed to bring up with her when he said he had a minor concern to address.

"And of the girl?" Wesker asked, wondering what had happened to her as Maleficent hadn't said yet though with Sherry easily subdued they would have Jake at the arena soon enough.

"All Simmons said was that she was subdued after a small incident that was quickly brought to a stop." Maleficent said also wondering what Simmons meant by that. "He said he'd explain in detail when they get back."

Wesker nodded as there was a beep on the private line on the computer and he hit a button. "Yes?" he asked and heard a yelp in the background as they all could hear Pete screaming his head off in pain.

"Get her off! Get her off!" Pete cried as they heard a grunting. "Get this brat off my tail!" Alex and Luis shared a look and could be seen trying to hold back laughter.

They could see Simmons and the heartless, surprisingly on the latter's part, sweatdrop at the sight. While some heartless watching had their heads tilted in confusion at the sight before them. Something Wesker, Maleficent, and Simmons all wouldn't admit out loud, but internally understood why the heartless were confused.

It was a very strange sight to see indeed. Pete running around the living room, a broken couch near by, a broken window, and a little girl hanging on to Pete's tail by her tiny hands and teeth.

Luis almost felt bad for the cat, almost as they watched the little girl hold on for dear life as she didn't let go of Pete's tail. Pete wailed and yelled as he tried shaking off the little girl, waving his arms around as he ran and shook his hips, trying to dislodge her. "Ow! OW! Owie! Get her off!" he cried as he was making a nuisance of himself and would most likely alert the neighbors if something wasn't done soon...

"For the love of..." Maleficent said annoyed before she kept a lid on her growing annoyance at Pete. "Simmons, use the heartless to remove the brat from his tail, but command them to not take her heart. We do need her alive for our plans." Maleficent orders Simmons getting fed up with what she was seeing.

"Understood," Simmons said as he ordered the heartless to get the girl off Pete's tail. The heartless pulled the girl off, holding the screaming child as she struggled and kicked. Pete whimpered as his tail was bleeding from the bite. The cat glared at the girl, wanting to slap her but held back. "We're heading back now," Simmons said as Pete opened up a dark corridor.

Maleficent watches them move into the corridor with the two hostages being carried inside by one Large Body and one Neo Shadow. A corridor soon appearing close to Wesker and Maleficent as Simmons strolled in with a worried Pete and two heartless holding their prisoners.

"It's good to see you two made it back without much trouble..." Maleficent drawls with a look that made Pete cringe. "I'll talk to you about this soon enough, but since you did your task to a degree. I'll lessen your punishment, but make no mistake you are NOT off the hook." Maleficent says with a tone that showed her annoyance was still there, but kept under control.

Pete nodded, wincing a bit. "Yes...your majesty..." he said weakly. Elly glared at them, squirming. "Let us go!" she said, struggling against the black monster. She looked at Maleficent and stuck her tongue out at her. "Ugly..."

Wesker raised a brow at that, watching the little girl. "You're like your parents, a handful," he said. Simmons shook his head. "Can't you shut her up?" he asked, grumbling as he hated kids.

"I can do that and more..." Maleficent said cryptically before summoning a tendril of darkness over her mouth, keeping her from talking. "Ah...much better, now I was thinking maybe Wesker would like to have a nice cage prepared for our new guest close to her family. I'm sure they will love to see her again." Maleficent said with a cold grin imagining the looks of shock and dismay the parents will have seeing Wesker with their daughter in a cage.

Wesker smirked. "That would be good" he said, looking forward to seeing the looks on Chris and Jill's faces when they would see their daughter in a cage. Simmons nodded. "Alright" he said as Pete grunted, glaring at the little girl as his tail was bandaged. Sherry glared at them, struggling against the heartless.

"Where are Leon and Claire?" she demanded, fearing for her friends.

"They are in their cages to prevent them from hurting themselves before their execution of course. Wouldn't do to have them die too soon or before the baby is born. I do have plans for that infant, just haven't made up my mind yet which more appealing..." Maleficent says in thought before pushing the subject to the back of her mind.

"Oh, but we can't forget about you, Sherry. You too will be helping us with a little test of sorts and Jake will show the worth of our B.O.W.s that we've created. Maleficent explains with a cold grin.

Sherry struggled, glaring. "Jake and the others will help us," she said. "They will get us out of here."

Wesker laughed at that. "One of your friends is in no condition to do anything," he said, his lips curling into a smirk. He debated whether or not to show her the feed for the broken Lanna but decided not too right now.

"Plus the odds are about to become a lot worse before the day is done." Maleficent said as she looked at the Large Body holding her. "Take her to the testing arena, Luis will lead the way." Maleficent says with a smirk seeing Luis curse his luck, knowing he had to follow the order given to him thanks to the collar. "Luis, once you get Sherry to the arena, make sure she is restrained and can't get out on her own. We want Jake to work for it if he can survive."

Luis grunted and nodded. "Yes ma'am..." he said and started walking out of the room with the Large Body and the Neo Shadow behind him, holding the captives in their grasps as both girls were struggling.

Wesker smirked. "Now that we have them, we can start on the rest of the plans," he said and looked at Alex. "How are the B.O.W.s?"

"They're almost done, two more hours," Alex said as she was typing into the computer. "Though your Ustanak is getting the scent of Lanna's group." They could see the clone's mutated body search the hallways.

"Perfect, I look forward to seeing how things play out," Maleficent says before turning to Simmons. "Simmons, would you mind behaving around Leon and Claire while I have a word with Pete. I need someone to babysit them and make sure they don't die before the execution. Though if the baby is coming, send a heartless to alert me immediately." Maleficent asks Simmons knowing he'd love to mess with Leon a bit before their execution, but made her rules clear NOT to kill him or his wife before then.

Simmons nodded. "Alright," he said as he headed off to the cages where Leon and his wife was. Alex looked at Maleficent, head tilted. 'What do you plan on doing with him?" she asked, wondering what the witch had in mind for the cat.

"Don't worry," Wesker said as he looked at the feeds. "Maleficent knows what she is doing, plus you have a job to do, Alex." He was a bit stiff with her but than again, he always was. Alex shrugged and got back to her notes.

"I appreciate the confidence, Wesker, we won't be long. Pete, come walk with me. We'll talk about your little slip up." Maleficent said going through a dark corridor where they could speak in private.

(Simmons, Leon's and Claire's P.O.V)

A dark corridor opened in the room with Leon and Claire and out came a man that Leon would know only too well. Simmons smirked at the look on Leon's face. "Hello Leon...it's been a long time, too long," he said coolly. "I see you and your wife are having a little one? Congrats. I haven't yet had the chance to meet your oldest one yet but all in good time..."

"Simmons!" Leon shouted gripping the bars enraged to see he was alive again, before focusing on a far more important matter. "You stay the hell away from Lanna! Fight me if you want, but leave my daughter out of this!"

Simmons laughed, shaking his head. "Tut tut, such rage Leon. The last time we saw each other was a few years ago, wasn't it?" he asked. He looked at Claire. "And to think your married? Surprise, surprise..."

Claire glared at him, a hand on her stomach. "Bastard..." she said remembering what had happened though she wasn't in China at the time and looked at Leon.

"What is it you're here for, Simmons? If it was to kill me we both know you would've tried to by now." Leon said moving himself close to Claire to protect her however he could. He didn't know what powers Simmons may have sense revived, but if he was anything like Krauser. Leon knew he'd lose, but it'd be a cold day in hell if he didn't try to protect Claire.

"Oh...I wanted to pop in and say hi to an old friend," Simmons said smirking. "Oh Wesker and Maleficent has many plans for your daughter and her friends..."

"Shut up," Claire said glaring as she stayed close to Leon. "You really like to hear yourself talking, don't you?" Simmons glared but chuckled. "Your time will come soon enough, before or after your precious Lanna will die."

"They will stop you and get us out of here, no matter schemes Maleficent or Wesker has." Leon said refusing to back down to one of his last true enemies he faced. Though a part of him felt worried on the inside how Lanna and Jake were gonna handle this.

"We will see, won't we?" Simmons said smirking. "Now...how about we watch some family movies?" He said sarcastically and sat down at the TV's were still playing for them. They could see Jake was trying to find the group as was Sora and the others.

(Scene change Sora's group 3rd P.O.V)

Sora rushed down the halls trying to find any sign of Lanna and the others. His only guide being the brief sounds of gun fire echoing around the passages. Normally it would be easy to follow the noise, if the place wasn't built like a maze!

"Where is it coming from?" Sora said feeling worried as the sounds continued to echo around the walls for a few seconds before disappearing. Only to start up again some other direction.

Goofy tilted his head, narrowing his eyes in concentration as they heard the gunshots. "Sounds...like they're coming from the right," he said as the sounds disappeared again but started up once again, sounding louder as they kept walking. Donald strained his ears and blinked, looking towards their right. "There!" he said.

The sounds sounded clearer as they turned to the right but not much. Donald groaned in irritation. "Stupid castle!" he said crossly.

"I hear it!" Sora said rushing around a corner only to grunt as he ran over someone. Looking up he saw Jake rubbing the back of his head looking annoyed before seeing Sora.

"Sora?!"

"Jake!"

Sora and Jake shout at the same time before Sora hugs him, glad they found one friend. Much to his protest as he squirms in Sora's TIGHT grip, he thought Claire had a grip when she was mutating, but apparently Sora had some real strength in his arms!

"S-Sora...can't..breathe!" Jake struggled to get out before Sora let go, much to his relief. "Thanks..." Jake said before spotting Goofy and Donald helping them up.

"It's good to see you three are alright, you had us worried when you got caught in that trap a while ago." Jake says with a relieved smile to his new friends.

Donald and Goofy tackled hugged the man, relieved to see him before letting go. "Yeah, Sora had to freeze the binds before we could get free," Goofy said and looked confused. "Where's Lanna and the others?"

"Jake? What's wrong?" Donald asked, seeing the look on the man's face. "What happen? Is everyone alright?"

"I-I wish I could say that..." Jake said before Sora started shaking him in worry, any other day he'd snap at him for it. But seeing the worried look on his face, he understood how he felt.

"What do you mean by that?! Did something happen to Lanna and others?! Was it Wesker?! Maleficent?!" Sora shot off rapidly in worry before Goofy and Donald had to pull him back. They wanted answers too, but knew he needed a moment to speak.

"We found Claire, but Wesker did something to her and she attacked Lanna." Jake said sorrowful about what he had to do and seeing Lanna's heart broken face when she killed Claire. "If that wasn't bad enough, Claire ended up forcing Lanna to kill her in self defense."

That stopped all three of them, their eyes wide in disbelief and shock. "L-Lanna...killed her...?" Donald asked, feeling his heart race. "Oh no..." Goofy couldn't believe it. He didn't want to believe it! Lanna's mother...dead? To top it off...the poor girl had to kill her. "I can't believe it..." That had to have broken Lanna.

"Poor Lanna..." Donald murmured sadly, feeling horrible. One of the people that they came to save was dead...they couldn't even imagine what Lanna had to be feeling, let alone Jake even though they saw it in his eyes though only a glimmer of what he was feeling.

"Lanna...How could of this happened?" Sora asked not sure what to say at the moment as Jake decided to inform them the rest of the story. They needed to know as part of the group.

"I'm afraid that's not all, Claire transformed due to some virus inside her before we found her. I think that's why she attacked Lanna, but when she completely turned. I stayed behind to fight it off and keep Lanna safe, while Lanna was carried to safety by Ada. Now I'm trying to find her in all of this mess." Jake said keeping his emotions in check, he couldn't afford to be drowned in sorrow. He could mourn later, but finding Lanna and rescuing the others came first.

"What way did this go?" Donald asked looking up at the man. "Maybe they aren't far?" He looked hopeful as he was worried about the girl and the others.

"Will this affect the plaga-thing inside of Lanna?" Goofy asked, looking worried and bit his lower lip. Looking around as he heard something.

"I-I don't know...but we have to hurry and get Lanna cured soon." Jake says kicking himself for not realizing the threat to her life sooner. Before stopping his hurried walk as he hears a sound.

"Does anyone else hear that?" Jake asks wondering if he's hearing things or not.

"I hear it," Donald said and turned to look behind them as it felt like a mini earth quack under their feet and a low growl. "L-Lanna..." a voice rasped. The ground shook again as a familiar face appeared around the corner. It was Ustanak.

"Damn it...I should've known better..." Jake cursed forgetting how stubborn the last Ustanak he killed was and dreaded doing the same to Claire, but he knew he had too or Lanna would get dragged into it again.

"Remember how I told you Claire had been infected and transformed? Well, that's her..." Jake said with resignation and sadness in his voice, but his eyes held a determination to protect Lanna from Ustanak.

"That was Lanna's mother!?"

Donald swallowed, seeing the monster in front of them. It was bigger than the last monsters they had fought in the past. He looked at Jake, confused about what he meant. "Huh?"

The Ustanak roared loudly, making the walls quack and rushed at the group.

"Yes and we need to run for now!" Jake said leading the group deeper into the sewers as Ustanak chased them.

Sora looked at Jake confused about his actions and order to them. "Why are we running? We can take him-er..her together!"

"Trust me spikes, we'll need an open space. I'm just looking for one!" Jake replied ducking under a sewer pipe as he and Goofy ducked a low hanging sewer pipe.

Donald and Sora ran after him, hearing the Ustanak chasing after them, smashing the sewer pip along the way as it roared in anger. Water dripped and sloshed everywhere as they kept running and entered a large room with no furniture in it. It was a perfect place for the fight. Donald looked back and squawked, seeing how fast the monster was even it was heavily muscular.

"She's right behind us!" he said and looked at the others, nervous.

"No shit she is!" Jake shot back as he opened fire on Ustanak with his Elephant Killer using the last of his three bullets in the gun. Making it stumble back a bit before pulling out his AK47 on the B.O.W. "I'll keep her pressured with the bullets I have left, just take her down!" Jake orders getting a nod from Sora as he magic dashes to the right flank of the monster while Goofy stayed close to Jake to protect him. Donald was rushing to the left flank as they gave each other a nod.

"Firaga!/Fire!"

Sora and Donald shout as they use their fire magic on the Ustanak, trying to keep it from focusing on any one of them.

The Ustanak growled in pain and in anger, stumbling back and waved her arms around, trying to ease the pain and fell to one knee, panting heavily. It's skin was burned from the fire and was bleeding from the fire and bullets. It panted and growled, lunging at Goofy and slammed him into the wall. Goofy cried out and slid down the wall, panting heavily from pain.

"Goofy!" Donald cried out and sent out another fire spell at the monsters back, trying to distract him. The monster turned and growled, moving towards Donald.

"Back off!" Sora shouts rushing the monster and slamming the keyblade into it's gut before slashing upward to make it crash against the ceiling. As it was falling Sora turned his attention to Donald.

"Help Goofy! Jake and I have this!" Sora said before focusing his attention on the Ustanak crashing against the floor.

Donald nodded as he ran off to help Goofy. Ustanak growled in anger as he pushed himself up and lunged at Jake and Sora, kicking at Sora and sending a punch at Jake. He missed Sora but the attack landed on Jake, watching the man stumble back. He turned to look at Sora and moved towards him.

"Jake! Grrr...Alright, no more games lady!" Sora said raising his keyblade in a thrusting position before moving at high speeds. Ramming into the Ustanak again and again. "Sonic Blade!" Sora shouts as he continued his limit break, thrusting against the creatures gut seven times before launching it away with a strong thrust that sent it flying into a wall.

Ustanak grunted and went silent, staying down as debris fell over it's body, covering it slightly but not enough to fully bury it. Donald panted lightly as he finished healing Goofy and looked at Sora and Jake. "You two okay!?" He asked, seeing that Jake had been flying and looked towards Sora after he had sent the monster into a wall.

Goofy stood up slowly, rubbing his head and stumbled a bit as he looked at his friends. "She...really packs a punch..." He said, feeling a little dazed a bit from the attack even though Donald had healed him.

"I'm fine!" Sora assures before looking at Jake who rubs his chest and the back of his head groaning. "I'll live..." Jake said trying to brush off the pain he felt, Claire always had a strong right arm when she needed it. Both for slapping someone and punching their lights out.

Donald sighed and nodded. "Good," he said, relieved. "Let's get out of here and go find Lanna and the others." If this thing was going after Lanna, they would need backup as the monster just didn't want to seem to die. Goofy nodded in agreement at that. "To think...this thing...was human..." he said, feeling pained by this.

"They all use to be human, make no mistake." Jake said understanding how they felt, but had to stay strong as he led the way down a new pathway of the sewer. "Very few of these creatures are pure breed monsters, because most of the B.O.W.s created use humans as test rats." Jake said bitterly easily guessing what happened to anyone stupid enough to come to this village and mysteriously disappear. it was a devious operation and with the heartless around it was even worse.

Donald and Goofy shared a look, sighing a bit as they followed them. "Yeah..." They said, feeling a bit down but knew he was right. The three followed the older man, feeling nervous but didn't let the emotions control them.

There was a ring at Jake's cell. It was Ada.

"Oh thank God for small favors." Jake said happy Ada was calling him, but mentally kicking himself for not thinking to do that. Answering the phone, he looked on the screen as Ada's image appeared.

"Good to hear from you, Ada, I trust Lanna and the others are safe?" Jake asks before Sora tries to make himself visible on Ada's end without pushing Jake. "Hey, Ada! How are you and the others? Is Lanna okay?!"

Ada looked a bit grim. "We're fine," she said. "We're hold up in a room on the second floor of the castle. Riku is recovering and Lanna...well...she's holding as one person can be after killing their mother. She's refusing to talk to anyone right now." She looked behind her for a few minutes and looked back at Jake, her tone low. "She's been throwing up blood and shaking. The plaga is reacting to the emotions. Riku and Kairi are keeping her calm."

"Shit..." Jake said as Sora paled at this...Lanna was getting worse? "Listen, I had some trouble with Ustanak before Sora showed up and I'm now lost in the sewers. Can you help us out?" Jake asks wanting to get top side as soon as possible, a feeling shared by Sora, Donald, and Goofy too.

Ada nodded. "There is a door at the end of the corridor. Take it. It will lead you up to the first floor. Once your there, you go right. I don't know how many Zealots you'll meet, but if you keep going straight you'll see another set of stairs on your left. They will lead you to the second floor. The room we are in has the Insignia on it."

She looked behind her, hearing Riku and Kairi talking. "Riku says to get your asses up here and quick," she smirked a bit and looked at Sora. "Hey, calm down. It won't do you or Lanna any good if your upset. I'm sure she'll feel better once she knows all of you are alright. She won't go down easily." Jake knew that. Lanna was stubborn but even more stubborn when sick or not feeling good.

"Alright, we're on our way," Jake said shutting off the phone and looking at them determined. "Let's get going guys!" Jake said earning a cheer from Sora, Donald, and Goofy as they ran a step behind him. It didn't take long to reach the corridor they needed and went through the door before going up stairs. Once at the top they immediately followed Jake to the right and started straight looking for the stairs they need. While keeping an eye out for any zealots.

"Keep your guard up boys, never know what this castle will throw at us next." Jake warns his friends as he leads them in their search for the next staircase.

"Right" Donald and Goofy said nodding as they kept their eyes open. They could hearing something muttering in Spanish. It was a group of Zealots and they were standing in front of the stairs they needed to get to. Goofy counted them. "Ten..." he said and looked at Sora and the others. "That should be hard."

Donald nodded, looking determined. "Let's take them!" he said, summoning his staff. He was ready to get through them..

"I still got some ammo left!" Jake shouts firing his AK47 as covering fire against the shield carrying Plaga, breaking apart their shields piece by piece. Sora sees zealots with flaming crossbows aiming at Jake and aims his keyblade at them.

"Firaga!" Sora shouts firing large sized fireballs of death that swallows their bodies before exploding from the impact.

Their bodies hit the floor and burned, only leaving ashes. There were only three Zealots left and Donald and Goofy took care of them. The floor was littered with ammo, gold and some jewels. Donald and Goofy gathered them up and handed some ammo to Jake for his guns.

"Let's head up the stairs" Goofy said, getting antsy and wanting to see the others. The group headed up the stairs and entered the hallway. "Ada said a door with an insignia?"

"Yeah, she did..." Jake says as they made it up stairs and quickly found the door they were looking for. "There!" Jake said rushing and pushing the door open as Jake, Sora, Donald, and Goofy all rushed out in a hurry. Seeing Ada and Riku on guard for a second aiming their weapons at them, before relaxing as they see who it is.

"Lanna!" Sora and Jake say rushing over to her as Donald and Goofy check up on the others.

Lanna didn't answer as she kept staring at the wall. She knew someone was there and heard the voices of her friends, but they sound muffled and under water. She felt someone shake her and turned to look at Sora. "..." She looked pale.

Ada sighed. "Come on, Lanna, snap out of it," she said. She got down next to Sora. "Forgive me." She pulled back her hand and slapped Lanna in the face.

"Ow!" Lanna yelped, grunting a bit as her cheek stung. "The hell Ada!" She looked up and saw Sora and the others. "Sora?" She hugged him.

"Lanna, I'm so glad you're okay!" Sora said hugging her in relief that she was back to herself. Jake smiled in relief seeing little red back to normal...mostly.

Lanna hugged Sora. "I'm...alright for the most part..." she murmured softly and sighed heavily, glad to see him.

"Thanks, Ada, but let's give these two a minute shall we?" Jake said gesturing for Ada to talk to him in private. He was concerned how much time they had left to save her and he rather not get Lanna worked up if possible.

Ada nodded as she turned towards him. "Yeah," she said as she walked towards him. She looked at the budding couple and looked towards Jake. "She's gonna be a little weak from the blood loss. She's taking the pills, but I'm concerned." She was as Lanna had been out of it since Jake stayed behind to go at the Ustanak. She was worried.

"How much time do we have?" Jake said wanting to know how bad their situation was. He knew the drama was not helping her at all and could only pray she could hold on long enough to get cured.

"It's hard to say, honestly. The egg has hatched but with killing her mother? She may have till early morning. It's something we will have to keep an eye on her," Ada said. "She's a strong girl, she will pull through." She did believe that they would get Lanna cured before losing her but they would have to be careful. "We can't hold her back from fighting."

"I know, I know..." Jake said wondering what they were going to do. "So where to next, Ada? We need to get moving and I prefer not to fly blind if possible." Jake asks hoping Ada had an idea where they had to go.

"We still have to get the pieces for the mural," Ada said looking at him. "There are three places and one place is Lava and Lanna will have to get it." She saw the look on Jake's face. "I don't like it either, but she's the one training in that section. The other two places won't be as bad." She pulled out a map and looked through it.

"One is in a gallery, another is in the wine room," She said. "They moved the pieces since than."

"Great...Just great...Dare I ask which one is closest to us?" Jake asks quietly feeling a headache coming on. Next time he sees the midget he'll shoot him out of principle of making him go through elaborate bullshit.

"The gallery and the next one will be the lava room," Ada said, sighing a bit. "We better go tell the others." She ran a hand through her hair, sighing again and turned to look at the others. She saw Goofy and Donald checking up on Kairi and Riku while Sora and Lanna were still talking with Sora keeping close to the red head.

"Guess we might as well get this party started then." Jake said walking over to Lanna and Sora to make sure they were ready. Time wouldn't wait for them and he wasn't gonna take chances.

Lanna looked up. "What's up?" she asked, her tone strained a bit and weary, but she saw the looks on their faces. "Better yet, what's wrong?"

"Riku, Kairi, come over here. You need to hear this as well," Ada said, watching the two teens walking over to the group. Once everyone was together, Ada spoke, "We still need to get three pieces for the mural or we can't go on. Two places will be relatively easy, but one won't be." She looked at Lanna. "Lanna, unfortunately...you'll be going in alone in the lava room"

Lanna nodded, looking determined. "Okay."

"Why alone?" Sora asks alarmed, but seeing Lanna's look quickly amends his words. "I-I mean not that I doubt you, Lanna, not at all. I just want to know why we can't help you if something goes wrong."

"I know," Lanna said and smiled lightly at him. Ada spoke up. "The cart can only fit one person," she explained. "Unless one carries the other it's back, it's gonna be a tight fit and Lanna is the sniper here."

"Don't even think of volunteering to give her a piggy back, spikes, it's shaky keeping your balance once that thing starts and stops. Lanna going alone is for her own safety." Jake said not liking the situation any more than Sora was, but she was the best option they had. "Besides, we have to go to the gallery first to get the first piece." Jake says trying to ease any worries Sora may have.

"I think I agree with Jake and Ada's plan, Sora. It's the best bet we have." Riku said giving his support after taking a few silent moments to consider their options.

"I'll be fine," Lanna reassured them. "I can do this."

Kairi looked nervous about the upcoming pieces. "Sounds like we're gonna have a hard time either way," she said. Donald and Goofy nodded. "Yeah but we can do it," Goofy said trying to sound positive. "Where is the gallery anyway?"

"The gallery is on the first floor," Ada said. "We have to go through a room that will take us to large room."

"Lead the way then, Ada. Lord knows I don't want to risk getting lost again." Jake said not wanting to end up in the sewers or tripping some trap in the wrong room.

"It'll be like a scavenger hunt!" Sora said trying to be positive, but Jake, Ada, Lanna, and Riku could all see that Sora was still worried. Jake and Riku decided to keep quiet about it as they knew he was only worried about Lanna.

"A scavenger hunt is a good way think about it," Lanna said. Kairi nodded in agreement. "Well? What are we waiting for? Christmas?" Lanna asked, knowing they were worried about her and stood up. She checked her ammo and looked at them, head tilted. "And guys? Thank you. I'm sorry if I worried you." She smiled lightly.

She didn't enjoy worrying them. She was nervous about the plaga and the fact she killed her mother was weighing heavily on her mind but she would mourn later. She didn't just lose her mother but her baby brother. She narrowed her eyes, thinking but her expression soften.

"It's cool, little red, worrying is what big brothers, friends and boyfriends are for~" Jake said reassuringly at first, before giving a teasing wink at the end. Making Sora look confused as Riku sighed with a smirk. Easily seeing that Jake is quite a bit like he is when it comes to teasing Sora and Kairi in the past.

Lanna blushed a bit at that. "Yeah," she said, squirming on her feet. Kairi was glaring from her spot. Goofy looked confused. "Lanna has a boyfriend now?" he asked.

Donald groaned and shook his head.

"Not yet." Jake replied with a knowing smirk as he turned to Ada. "Ready when you are, super spy." Jake said feeling some of his humorous side kick in now that he got to tease Lanna some.

Ada chuckled and nodded as she headed out the door. Lanna flushed and shook her head as she followed after her with Donald and Goofy bringing up the rear. Kairi walked with Riku.

The group quickly made their way down the stairs and down the hallway. It was quiet. Kairi shifted closer to Riku, feeling cold as they neared the door. Ada pushed opened the door and entered the large room. On either side there were staircases and at the balcony was none other than Salazar. "Well now, I didn't think you would make it this far," he said sneering.

BANG!

"Ahh!" Salazar ducks only for the shot missed his head, but killed his hat.

"Damn I missed..." Jake said annoyed that he missed a perfect shot, guess the little bastard had a smaller head than he guessed.

Salazar glared. "Bad aim," he taunted and looked at Lanna. "So Lanna...how did you like your little reunion with your mother?"

Lanna felt her blood boil at that. "Bastard..." she growled. "I hope you rot in hell where you belong!" Salazar laughed and yelped as another bullet came whizzing by, grazing his cheek.

Lanna smirked, seeing this. Ada lowered her gun. "Mocking us won't work. You'll die," she said.

"If you're eager to join Krauser..." Riku began with a dark aura surrounding his body in a light sheen or purple with specks of light mixed in his aura. "I can show you how dangerous a real darkness user is in battle.

"Don't leave me out, this guy is gonna pay for hurting Lanna!" Sora said protectively and showing his rare moments of anger toward anyone.

Salazar smirked. "All so eager to die? Well, my friends will help with that," he said as Zealots appeared at every stairwell, balcony and appearing right in front of the group. The painting behind Salazar raised up, revealing two Zealots holding rocket launchers. "Have fun." Salazar disappeared through a door.

"Rocket Launchers! Everyone scatter!" Jake shouts as everyone did so to avoid the rocket firing to where the last stood. Kicking up dirt and smoke as everyone started their own fights. Jake rushing up and shooting a zealot in the head with his Samurai edge making him hold his head in pain and stumble. Before Jake stole his sword from his hand and decapitated him with it, only to block another sword wielding one using the stolen blade.

Sora on the other hand jumps over three Zealots with shields trying to rush him as he aims his keyblade down toward them The tip glowing icy blue. "Blizzaga!" Sora shouts freezing them solid before he lands, spins around, and slices all three iced enemies in half.

"You idiots never learn do you?" Riku says annoyed before sliding in between a shield and mace user's legs. Before kicking the Zealot into his allies and jumping back to his feet. Instantly moving at high speed to cut down the zealots before they can get up.

Ada smirked as she used her crossbow, shooting at one in the head and kicked at another, twisting and ducking under the arm of another. She grabbed it and yanked, breaking it and slammed the barrel of her gun into the throat, pulling the trigger and killed him.

Kairi summoned her keyblade and shot fire at one of the Zealots she was fighting, while getting help from Donald and Goofy as she wasn't used to fighting alone.

Lanna growled as she slammed her fist into the solar plexus of the Zealot she was fighting and ducked under him, ramming her elbow into his jaw. She kicked him in the chest and stomach, making him go flying into the one that was inching up behind Ada.

"Time to finish this!" Sora shouts jumping into the air as light charges as a ball of light appears on his keyblade. However, much to the shock of everyone(Except Riku, Donald, and Goofy), Sora stayed suspended in the air as the ball of light got bigger. The Zealots with the rocket launchers took aim on the strangely airborne boy before his eyes snapped open. Having them closed earlier for concentration.

"Ragnarok!" Sora shouts firing multiple light lasers that first spreads out wide away from the enemies, before seeing them change direction mid flight toward the rocket launcher zealots. They tried to fire at Sora, but the lasers cut off the rockets and blew them up too soon to reach Sora. Much to everyone's shock the attack kept going and rammed right into their bodies with multiple explosions as multiple lasers hit them at once. They made weak grunting noises as their bodies vanished from the destructive energy that came from Sora's attack. The assault from one of Sora's more dangerous limit breaks leaving craters on the wall. Softly landing on his feet after firing the attack. Sora watched as his attack reduced the two hostiles to nothing.

Looking around Sora was glad to see everyone was still alive, but couldn't help asking the one thing on his mind. "Are you guys okay?"

Jake was busy trying to comprehend the display of power Sora showed with wide eyes. 'Note to self, never get on the kid's bad side.' Jake thought feeling impressed at Sora's strength and horrified at the thought of ever being on the receiving end of that attack.

Kairi blinked and cheered, pumping her hands into the air. "Nice going Sora!" she cheered, grinning. She couldn't believe that Sora had that much power to him!

Ada was surprised at the attack, thinking along the lines as the same as Jake. She was really glad that Sora was on their side...

Lanna started at Sora, her eyes wide. She knew he was strong but she didn't know how strong he was. "Uh...yeah...we're fine..." she squeaked and blushed. "You were great."

Lanna's compliment got Sora to blush a bit, not use to that kind of praise and for some reason he felt flattered. "R-Really? Thanks! It wasn't easy to master that one, but man it's a life saver against enemies that like to fly or hang around high places." Sora explains happily, but shyly.

Lanna smiled and nodded. "Your welcome and it seems like it! You made mincemeat out of them!" She said grinning at the blushing boy and giggled a bit, head tilted.

"Alright love birds," Ada said chuckling. "We have to find the piece," She started up the stairs while Donald and Goofy searched the lower half of the room for ammo and other useful items.

Jake couldn't help chuckling at the blushing faces on the two teens as they tried to deny it. Jake feeling the need to tease his little sister figure of his life, got close to Lanna. "Do me a favor and wait before making him completely yours, okay? I'm not sure your dad would like it if you had your first here." Jake whispers to his sister figure before winking at her knowingly.

Lanna's face turned beat red at that, her eyes wide in shock. "J-Jake!" she stuttered, her heart racing heavily. "That's not...I wasn't...Ah!" She felt embarrassed from the teasing and smacked his arm. "Y-you...! Get your mind out of the gutter!" She hadn't even had a first date yet with Sora, she wasn't even thinking of sex yet!

Jake only chuckled at how flustered his sister was getting as he playfully backed up with a cheeky grin. "Sure, Lanna, sure.~ Just remember to make him use protection.~" Jake joked as he stepped out of her reach as Sora, Riku, and Kairi all looked confused on the last part.

"Lanna? What does he mean by protection?" Sora asks innocently making Jake nearly double over snickering at the situation he got Lanna in.

Lanna's face turned a deep shade of red, making her look like a tomato. "Jake..." she groaned and looked at Lanna. 'Um...ah...well..." She squirmed a bit, glaring at Jake and sighed heavily. "It's...well, if a couple isn't ready for a baby yet, the man wears a silicon slip on his manhood to reduce the chances of the woman getting pregnant."

Donald and Goofy looked confused at that.

"On my manhood? Why would I need protection there?"

"Oh you'll find out sooner or later, spikes!" Jake says before turning to see an amused Ada. "So which way to the gallery, Ada? I'm feeling in a pretty good mood right now."

Ada laughed and shook her head. "This way" she said as she headed to a white door, seeing a long hallway that went to a fork in the hallway with three doors. She led the group to the left door where they entered a room that had pictures everywhere on the walls. Lanna looked around and saw something shiny hanging over a deer's head. "I see it!" she said pointing up at the piece. She looked around and grabbed a chair and pulled it over. Climbing on, she stretched her arm out, grunting. "Ugh...can't...reach..."

"Need some help?" Sora asks walking up to her, but not doing anything yet. He knew she could handle herself, but couldn't stop himself from wanting to always help her. Even with tiny things he noticed, but figured he'd bring up with her later.

Lanna looked down at him and nodded. "Please. I can't reach it...I just need a boost" she said as the piece kept touching her fingers and even shifted a bit but it wasn't enough.

"Sure," Sora said gripping Lanna by the waist and holding her up nice and steady, though he tried not to think of how nice it felt to hold her...

Jake couldn't keep the smirk off his face and Riku looked at them Jake with a raised eyebrow. Whatever was going on in Jake's head, Riku knew he had zero intentions of telling anyone, but it definitely involved those two.

"Thanks," Lanna said. The added boost helped Lanna grabbed the piece and grinned. Though she tried not to get too warm with Sora holding her, as she could feel Kairi's glare at her and knew that Jake and Ada were smirking. "Got it!"

"Great job you two," Ada said grinning. "One down, two to go."

"Good, now we just have to deal with THAT place." Jake said feeling his good mood lower slightly, but still felt more happy than not thanks to LOADS of teasing material he has on his sis now!

Lanna nodded, sighing a bit. "Yeah," she said, shaking her head once Sora helped her down. She felt tired as the others trailed out of the room. She followed after them and looked at the other doors. It wouldn't hurt to take a look at them real quick. She went to the door on the right and pushed it open and entered it, seeing a bedroom. "Whoa..."

The bedroom was dressed elegantly with the four poster bed and silk bed sheets with low lighting. If the situation had been different, it would have been romantic.

"Hey, this room is kinda nice. I can imagine taking a nap here any day!" Sora said jumping on the bed and relaxing spread eagle with a lazy smile on his face. "This is the life..."

Lanna chuckled as she watched him and smiled. "How are you always so chipper..." she said as she sat on the edge of the bed and sighed lightly and plopped down next to him, staring up at the ceiling sadly. She kept thinking of her mom and her brother. She killed them both...all because Wesker and Maleficent did something to them. "...Mom..." she murmured sadly and closed her eyes, fighting back tears.

Sora couldn't help the twisting guilt inside him as he saw Lanna looking so depressed. He wanted to help her and take away her pain, while he knew he couldn't completely get rid of it. He could help her cope, so he reached out and pulled her into a hug as he sat up. Pulling her on his lap and rests his head on her right shoulder.

"Lanna...I know you're hurting and that I can't take away all the hurt you have, but at least let me try. I'm here for you in whatever way you need me to." Sora said sincerely wanting to help her.

Lanna looked at him, feeling Sora pull her close and onto his lap. "Sora..." she said, tears filling her eyes as she leaned into him, sniffling a bit as she closed her eyes, tears rolling down her cheeks. Her hands gripped the back of his jacket as she shivered a bit. "...Thanks..." She did feel comforted by his words and him being close.

She laid her head on his and took in a shaky breath, feeling his soft hair against her cheek. "...Thank you...for being here..."

"Anytime Lanna, you'd know I'm always here for you." Sora said laying down and letting Lanna be on top while he petted her hair gently. Keeping his left arm around her waist to let her feel safe and secure.

Lanna snuggled into him, feeling more calm now as she laid on top of him. Her head resting on his chest as she could hear his heart beating against her ear. She rubbed his side gently, feeling safe. She breathed slowly as she felt tired but wouldn't sleep. She was just too comfortable at the moment as she laid there, feeling his arm around her wait and his hand on her hair. It felt like heaven.

She looked up at him and smiled lightly. "I'm glad to have met you..." she murmured softly.

"I'm glad I met you, Lanna, I truly am." Sora replies with a smile as he brushes a bang out of her left eyes. Feeling himself getting lost her in her eyes once more.

Lanna stared at his blue eyes, her light gray ones meeting his and smiled softly. "I'm...happy to hear that" she murmured as her hand searched for his hand and found it, twinning their fingers together. She enjoyed his touch and being so close to him as her heart started to pick up in speed. She forgot the mission and the others for a moment, content to where she was.

Sora smiled with a blush on his cheeks feeling her body on top of his own and how content, but shy he is with her so close. He wanted to kiss her, but was keeping himself back. Not wanting to push her or pressure, heck he still didn't understand how silicon was supposed to protect his manhood.

Lanna blushed softly, smiling as she looked down at him, her hair lightly framing her face. She trailed her fingers down his cheek as she felt herself slowly shift closer to him. She wasn't sure why she felt so warm then but she just wanted to be with him. "Sora..." she murmured softly.

"Lanna..." Sora said feeling her closing in and his heart starting to race. He subconsciously let himself lean into her too.

Lanna blushed and pressed her lips against his, her eyes closing as she leaned into him. It was their second kiss during this nightmare and it was just as sweet and enjoyable if not more.

Sora blushed and leaned back letting Lanna on top of him more. Reaching behind her head to play with her hair gently as he enjoyed the kiss.

Lanna blushed as she kissed him gently, feeling his hand on the back of her head and shivered lightly. She enjoyed the feeling of him playing with her hair as she rested on top of him.

Sora kisses back as he let his hand hold hers a little tighter, but still kept a gentle grip enough to enjoy the softness of her hand. Wanting her to feel loved and cared for.

She did. Lanna felt this and it made her feel warm and wanted, as she cupped his cheek gently. She felt him pull her tighter and gave a soft sigh of happiness.

Sora gave a slight moan subconsciously as he felt so complete with her like this on top of him. Blushing as he felt something beginning to stir and wake up in his pants.

Lanna had felt something and blushed a bit. She pulled back slightly to breath as she stared at him and smiled lightly before kissing him again, lightly licking at his lower lip.

Sora opens his mouth with a startled moan and blush as he felt Lanna's tongue slip into his mouth. Moaning and kissing back as good as he knew. Though he couldn't deny he liked the feel of this kiss...

Lanna smiled as she heard his startled moan and found it cute as she lightly pressed her tongue against his, giving a soft moan. She was nervous as she remembered what Jake had hinted earlier and blushed more as she didn't think her and Sora were ready for that yet, especially not here where the danger was heavy.

She murmured softly against his lips, feeling like she was on cloud nine...

Sora felt himself getting lost in this feeling of pleasure and love he felt from Lanna. Wanting more of it, but also something he wasn't familiar with. Whatever it was, it was growing stronger and more wanting of Lanna... His manhood seeming to get harder too as he tried to ignore it.

Lanna soon broke away and her face turned beat red as she saw what position they were in. She stared at Sora as she could feel his excitement now and swallowed. "Um...ah..." she started.

"Well..." Riku said from the other side of the room with a small blush on his cheeks. Mainly from seeing the position they were in and some of the kissing before Lanna pulled back. "I'd say get a room, but it seems you two already have one. Do you two need some extra time alone or can you hold off for now?" Riku says trying to cut the awkward feeling he had with some humor. Sadly he still felt very awkward and could imagine how they felt.

"R-Riku?! How long was you there?" Sora asks looking around and was glad to see it was only Riku. Riku could only shrug his shoulders with a small smile. "I may have seen you two getting into the kiss when I came in to make sure you two was okay. Jake and Ada are waiting for us with Kairi being watched by Donald and Goofy."

Lanna groaned a bit, knowing the teasing she would be getting from Jake and the death glares from Kairi. Her patience with the younger red head was starting to run thin but said nothing do to her being Sora's friend. She smoothed her hair down and fixed her shirt to the best she could. She felt bad for the silver haired boy and felt awkward.

"Um...yeah..." she said blushing.

"Just for the record...I approve of you being with Sora, but please let Kairi know gently as you can okay? Preferably when our lives are not at stake." Riku says before informing them of his request to the two.

"Thank you," Lanna said, glad to have his blessings on this and nodded. "We will. She seems like a nice girl and I wouldn't mind having her as a friend...once this said and done." She was honest about it but it irked her to have someone glare at her for standing next to Sora, let alone talking to him. "I've never been in her situation and I'm trying to understand how she feels but it's hard when her jealousy is getting in the way."

She didn't want to be rude but if Kairi pushed her too much there would be a fight...

"Yeah...I'll try to help with that, but understand she's had a crush on Sora for years now."

"What? Since when?"

"Sora, man you are so dense. Ever since we were kids she's been hanging close to you more than me. Shouldn't have that been a tip to you?"

"Well, I thought she was just being friendly."

At this Riku could only facepalm and sigh at how dense Sora is. "See why I worry for Sora being on his own at times, Lanna?"

Lanna nodded and smiled lightly. "Yeah I do," she said as she did understand, but she could also see how deep the friendship ran as well between the three. She stood up and put her arms behind her head, looking at the two. "I know Sora can be dense, but he's a great guy as well. Everyone has their own little quirks, but it's what makes them unique" She grinned. "But I know for a fact, I would take you two on my team any time."

Riku smiled at hearing that. "Ya know, I'd gladly take you, Ada, and Jake up on that offer. It'll probably be a while before we leave this world anyway. So we could use a place to crash until we get things sorted. Maybe we can take you up on those offers until then and when we visit your world?" Riku offers liking the idea of hanging with his new friends in the future.

"I'd be glad to help! I want to learn more about this world and you, Lanna!" Sora said happily wanting to spend more time with her, maybe even the rest of his life with her...

Lanna grinned happily. "I'd like that very much and I wouldn't mind exploring your world either." she said and looked at Sora, smiling. "I'm holding you too that Sora. We still have a date after this." She winked and looked at Riku. "I'm sure my aunt and uncle wouldn't mind housing you guys as well as dad." She would have been happier if her mom and brother was there and felt a twinge in her heart. Her eyes narrowed. She would take Wesker and Maleficent down at all costs.

She looked at them and smiled. "First, we have to take down two thorns in our sides."

"Then we best get going before Jake or Ada decides to come looking. After all, while I'm glad you fixed your shirt and hair. I know Jake WILL tease you if he sees you straddling Sora on such a nice bed." Riku said teasingly looking at his friend's positions, before Sora started to blush as he noticed how nice it felt to have her straddling him.

Lanna blushed heavily at that and swallowed. 'Ah...yeah..." she said, rubbing the back of her head and looked at Sora, remembering how she is straddling him before getting off. "Let's get going..." She started towards the door, mentally groaning. That had been embarrassing!

Riku could only smile as he walked out behind her with Sora rushing after them. It took a few seconds but they met up with everyone else waiting for them.

"Took you guys long enough. What kept you?" Jake asks wondering what kept Lanna and Sora busy for this long.

Lanna smiled sheepishly. "Sorry about that. We were checking some rooms for extra ammo and anything of use" she said, rubbing the back of her head. She didn't feel comfortable talking about it yet as it was a bit embarrassing and private...plus she didn't want to get teased either by Jake, which she knew he would.

"Fine, but don't worry us like that okay. The fact you're going in there by yourself is already nerve wracking enough." Jake said looking at the room Lanna had to go in alone making him feel uneasy.

"I'll be careful," Lanna said knowing he was worried and looked at her mode transportation. It was a stand that nestled on a large pole that was sandwiched between two even larger gears. It looked stable enough but only one person could step on it. She took in a deep breath and let it out slowly as she checked the ammo of her guns.

"Wish me luck," She said as she walked towards it.

"Good luck, Lanna," Goofy said looking worried as did Donald and Ada, watching the teen.

"Good luck, Lanna, and please be careful." Sora said hoping she'd be alright.

"Lanna, keep in mind they may have a trap waiting for you in there knowing it'll only be one of us in there. So keep your guard up." Riku warns his new friend knowing bad guys tend to take advantage of these situations.

"I will," Lanna said nodding. She knew Riku was right about it and smiled. "I'll be back soon." She walked forward and stepped onto the stand, grunting a bit as it started moving forward. Once on the ledge, she placed her hand onto the door and looked at the others back at the entrance. She waved and pushed through the door, entering the room that meant "Death" if one wrong move was made.

"I hope she'll be okay..." Sora said looking worried at the door she just went through as Jake pats his shoulder.

"Lanna will be fine, spikes. Just have a little faith and be patient," Jake said looking at the door a little worried, but willing to trust his little sister figure.

(Scene change: Lava room in Lanna's P.O.V.)

I felt the heat on my skin and it made me wince as the lava glowed brightly with the colors of orange and yellow. It smelled of sulfur. The heat was making it hard to breath and started forward, seeing a cage on a disk that was moving around in circles. The cage had two openings but I would have to time it correctly and swore heavily as I saw Zealots on the other side. I heard a clanking sound and gasped, seeing large stone dragons hanging in the air by chains.

"Great..."

I jumped through the opening of the cage, feeling the dial rotating constantly under my feet and heard the Zealots muttering in Spanish as usual, pointing at me. "Point all you want," I muttered as I pulled out my gun and jumped through the opening, landing on the ledge that led down a small flight of stairs. As soon as I landed, one of the dragons lowered behind a tower. "Crap!" I said and ran down the stairs, dodging a mace to the head. The dragon finished lowering from the ceiling and a roaring sound was heard as the mouth started to glow and spit out fire.

Twisting around, I shot at the Zealot with the helmet, killing it quickly as four more appeared. "Damn..." I muttered and pulled out my shotgun, aiming and fired at the Zealots while trying not to get too close the fire. Scooping up the gold and jewels and what little ammo fell from the disintegrating bodies, I turned and pulled out my sniper rifle. I had to get the right angle to shoot the Zealot that was controlling the stone dragon. Fixing the scope on my gun, I waited and smirked. "Got ya!"

There was a loud bang as the Zealot got hit and the stone dragon fell into the lava with a loud splash. Behind me there was a cranking sound as a chest rose from a stone pillar. Heading towards it, I opened up to see a can of health spray and grabbed it. "Good," I had two more dragons to go...

I made quick work of the second dragon and grabbed the medallion from the chest and headed towards the last dragon that was guarding the mural piece we needed. I heard more Zealots behind me as the last dragon lowered over the staircase, blocking it off. I checked my ammo for my sniper rifle and swore. "Four shots...I have to make them count..."

Looking up and cried out as a Zealot lunged at me, grabbing me by the throat and gagged. "Ach...shit..." I groaned and slammed my boot into his chest, knocking him back. Before whipping out my shotgun and started to shoot. The Zealots fell, dead. I made my way to the items and picked them up, but screamed in pain. As I didn't have time to dodge out of the way of the fire and felt my pant leg get singed. I looked at my leg, seeing the red mark there.

I dodged the fire and got behind the wall on the left, panting from the heat and fear. The dragon spat out fire as the Zealot controlled it. Counting down to five, I dashed to the right and aimed, firing at the Zealot controlling the stature and killed him. The Zealot fell into the lava as did the dragon. The stairs rose from the lava and latched onto the ledge that held the treasure box.

"Finally..." I said panting heavily and coughed, making my way up the stairs and opened the chest. Grabbing the piece, I left the room making my way out and closed the door to the lava room. I sighed in relieve, feeling fresh air hit my soot covered face and winced from the pain. Turning, I waved to the others, grinning. "I got it!"

(P.O.V. change to 3rd P.O.V.)

"That's great! Are you okay?!" Sora asks watching Lanna come over to the group on the platform before seeing the mark on her leg. "You're hurt! hang on I can heal this." Sora said startled and worried before focusing his magic into his keyblade. Riku and Jake smirking as Sora fretted over Lanna like a worried boyfriend or husband.

"Heal!" Sora shouts making the green herb appear before turning into a beautiful flower. It was a sight to see as the leaves fell and touched her leg immediately healing her leg of the nasty burn she had.

Lanna smiled as she saw her healed leg. "Thanks," she said wheezing a bit as she sat down and wiped her face with her arm, smearing the soot even more. "Man...that place was hell..."

Ada chuckled and handed her a cloth. 'Here, you look like panda," she said. Lanna smiled appreciatively and wiped her face clean with the cloth. "Thanks," she said.

Donald and Goofy looked relieved as they saw the mural piece with Lanna.

"That makes two down and one to go. Where's the last one, Ada?" Jake asks wanting to get this scavenger hunt over with and shoot a certain midget. This time between the eyes instead of going for his forehead.

"The wine room," Ada said looking at them. "It won't be so bad."

Kairi grumbled. "That's what you said the last time..." she said, remembering the other parts they had to go through already.

Lanna stood up. "The last room will be a breeze compared to the lava room and the rocket launchers," she said. "And stop glaring, Kairi." The two red heads glared at each other.

"Kairi, please, we have to work together to survive as it is." Riku said hoping to calm Kairi down as he gently places a hand on her shoulder.

Kairi looked away, glaring at the ground. "Fine," she said. Lanna rolled her eyes at that and looked at the others. "Let's get going," she said, not wanting to go further on the argument.

Ada nodded and started walking down a flight of stairs and into a cart. "Come on. This will bring us back to the mural faster," Donald and Goofy climbed in, sitting next to Ada. Lanna climbed in after them.

"All aboard!" Jake said jumping into his seat as Sora took a seat in front of Jake. Riku sitting next to Kairi.

The cart's door closed and it started down the tracks, twisting and turning. "Whoa!" Goofy said holding on as the cart picked up speed and slowed down again once it reached the destination. The door slid open. Donald and Goofy stepped out with Ada behind them

Sora and Jake approach the room after Ada with Riku walking next to Kairi.

Kairi walked with him, looking around as Lanna broke open some vases and picked up ammo and some gold and handed the ammo to Jake and Ada.

"The wine room is on the other side," Ada said and pushed open the door, revealing the room on the other side and blinked, seeing a large stone room with a large painting of a woman. In the floor there were holes that oddly matched the holes in the ceiling.

"What's with the holes?" Donald asked, confused as the group entered the room and the doors slammed shut.

"I think we're about to get our answer..." Jake said as spikes revealed themselves poking out of the ceiling with four glowing red lights on certain parts of the ceiling. What made it worse was the ceiling was lowering...

"Guys! How do we stop the ceiling from coming down!" Sora asked not use to a ceiling growing spikes and trying to crush someone.

"Shoot the glowing lights!" Lanna said noticing the lights and pulled out her gun and shot at one. Ada looked up and shot at another as did Jake, hitting the last two. The ceiling rumbled and stopped. The doors rose up into the ceiling, releasing the group.

"Sheesh...that was close..." Donald said sighing heavily.

"No kidding..." Riku says looking around before seeing an exit. "I guess we go that way?"

Ada nodded. "Yes," she said and headed into the hallway. Lanna, Kairi and Donald and Goofy followed after them. "It's cold in here," Kairi said seeing the entrance at the end of the hallway. "What's that?"

The wall cracked open behind the group, revealing rotating spikes on a wooden car that two Zealots were driving.

"Run!" Ada yelled and started running.

Sora, Jake, and Riku all start running with Riku grabbing Kairi into his arms. Only once they run a certain distance it closes behind Riku in time for everyone to see Donald, Goofy, Lanna, and Ada behind the gate. The wooden car with spikes getting closer much to everyone's horror.

"Shoot the drivers!" Jake shouts taking out his samurai edge and shooting one of them, but having a hard time hitting the other as he tilts his head to both sides. Trying to make itself a harder target much to Jake's anger. "Hold still you piece of shit!"

Lanna pulled her gun out and started to shoot. "Dammit!" she said as she missed and kept trying to hit him.

Ada supported by trying to shoot him as well, nicking the head but missed. The car was getting closer. She kept shooting and hit the second one. The gate drew up. "Hurry!"

No one needed to be told twice as everyone ran around the corner and waited for the car to pass.

The car passed and hit a wall with a loud crash and stopped moving.

"That was scary..." Donald said panting heavily, sweating. Goofy nodded, wheezing. "Too scary..." he said, looking at the others. "Everyone alright...?"

Kairi nodded. "Yeah..." she said.

"Lanna, you okay?" Sora asks checking up on her and Riku was doing the same for Ada.

"I'm alright," Lanna said wheezing a bit. She smiled weakly. Ada reassured him that she was alright and looked up, seeing the piece. "There it is..." she said pointing at one of the wine barrels.

Kairi went over to it and picked it up. "Got it," she said showing the others.

"That's all of them," Goofy said looking relieved.

"Good, now let's get out of here and put those pieces to use." Jake said ready to get going. This castle was really starting to get on his nerves with the number of death traps it has.

Lanna nodded. "This castle is driving me nuts...to think we still have an island to go to..." she said, sighing as she headed towards the door. She felt exhausted as did the others. This mission was starting to grate on their nerves and zap their energy.

"I could use a good steak..." Goofy said, his stomach growling.

"Fish..." Donald said dreamily.

"Uh...Don't get me started guys..." Sora complained feeling his stomach rumble just then with a painful empty feeling in his gut. "Quiet you! I know already!" Sora cried to his traitorous stomach.

"At least you guys had breakfast, I was forced to skip mine when I broke out and been on the run since last night." Riku said remembering how little sleep he had. Constantly forced to be on the run after a few hours of rest left him with only five hours of sleep since he broke out. It was enough technically, but he felt very annoyed thinking back to it.

Lanna stopped and pulled off her bag, fishing around in it. "Gotta love mom..." she said as she pulled out a couple of energy bars and smiled apologetically. "It's not much but it should hold you over till we get some real food." She handed the bars out to everyone, knowing that they were all hungry.

Donald and Goofy took the bars gratefully as did Ada and Kairi. "Thanks."

"Thanks, Lanna!" Sora and Riku said happy to have something to eat, while Jake ate his more calmly compared to his friends. "Thanks, little red. Don't suppose you got any beer in that bag do you?" Jake thanks her before playfully questioning her for a drink. He damn well felt like he needed one right now.

Lanna smiled. "No prob," she said and looked at Jake, chuckling. "Tsk, I wish. Water will have to do right now." She held out a bottle to him and pulled out a bar for herself as her stomach was growling just as loudly.

"Shame, but at least we got food." Jake said glad to have water and food at least before looking at Ada. "How far till we reach that room where these pieces go?" Jake asks Ada hoping it'll be close.

Ada looked at him. "It should be down the hall and there is a door on the right," she said and finished her bar. Swallowed it down with some water from her pouch.

"That's good," Donald said. "Once we put the pieces in we can get to the next spot!"

"Let's get going then!" Sora cheered racing ahead as Riku immediately tried to follow him. "Sora! Stop rushing ahead of us dang it!" Riku called partly in annoyance and partly out of concern for his very optimistic and very energetic friend.

Jake seeing this sighs as he stands up and checks his guns. "We might as well catch to spikes before he gets himself in trouble. I get the feeling he's a trouble magnet." Jake says finishing his check on his guns. Glad to they are all loaded with more bullets again.

Lanna sighed as did Ada. Kairi followed after the two of them with Donald and Goofy ran after them. Lanna checked her guns and looked at Jake and Ada. "Yeah," she said as she followed after them with Ada staying behind with Jake.

It didn't take long before everyone made it back to the room where Sora and Riku were waiting for them. To see the amusing sight of Riku scolding Sora as he rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly.

"Seriously, Sora! Can't you just chill for a few seconds?"

"But we have a way to move forward and be one step closer!"

"I know, Sora... but rushing around everywhere will eventually leave you tired. Just pace your self every once in a while..."

It was then Sora noticed everyone caught up to them. "Hey, guys! Glad you all made it! Let's open this thing!" Sora said happy to see them and ready to continue their rescue operation.

Kairi rolled her eyes, smirking. "You definitely don't need coffee or chocolate," she said, shaking her head.

Lanna and Ada stepped to the mural and started to put in the pieces. There was sound as the wall lowered, revealing the stairs behind the wall and a set of stairs on the right that led to the balcony.

"Think we should check the stairs first?" Kairi asked, looking at the others.

"Might as well," Jake said before looking at Sora. "Hey, spikes, mind making a run?" Jake said only to see Sora grin and already making his way up. Riku only shaking his head as they heard him break something and soon make his way down with some items. "I found some sniper ammo, some gold, and a ruby." Sora said handing the items to Lanna.

Lanna smiled and reloaded her sniper rifle. "Thanks," she said. "I was only had three left." She grinned at him and pocket the ruby and gold.

Ada pushed open the doors, revealing a hallway that split off into three rooms, The Kings Chamber, The Queen's Chamber and the Suit. Lanna looked at the map in her hands. "Well...we have three rooms to look through before finding the King's and Queen's cups."

"I'm guessing we need those to unlock something don't we?" Jake said feeling a headache beginning to form.

Ada looked at him. "Yup..." she said and sighed heavily, rubbing her temples. "Are you surprised?" Kairi groaned, shaking her head. 'So...where to first?" she asked.

"King's Chamber?" Donald suggested.

"Sounds like a good place to start, where is it?" Sora asks curious of which way they go.

"Down here," Ada said pointing to the room with the table that had a yellow herb and with a old note with a picture on the table. Lanna walked towards it and picked up, wincing.

"Damn...this is when they killed Luis..." Lanna murmured, remembering the look on her dad's face when he talked about Luis. It was brief but Leon thought Luis was a good friend.

"Luis?" Kairi asked confused.

"Luis Sera, he was a researcher," Lanna said. "Ada met him, as did Dad and Ashley Graham. He had a hand in the Plagas, but didn't know it right away as Saddler tricked him."

"So he was tricked into being their lap dog, figured out what they were up to, and later killed as he tried to do the right thing. is that about it?" Riku said feeling a kinship with Luis as he too had fought hard against Organization XIII for a little over a year. Waiting for Sora to wake up and keeping him safe from their clutches. While trying to make up for his own mistakes that cause so much suffering.

"Yes," Ada said, nodding. "He was a flirt and a womanizer, but he was very smart. When he figured out what Saddler was up to, it was too late. Luis sent an email to a friend but didn't know he was dead."

"That's horrible..." Kairi said softly, lowering her head as they told the tale. Lanna nodded, pushing back her hair. "Dad was hurt by his death and swore to get revenge on Saddler and he did."

"And revenge he did get, with a rocket launcher to the leader's...face or eye was it?" Jake asks wondering how to call where Leon shot Saddler when he transformed. He remembered the tale Lanna told him, but the way she described the transformation was too weird to really picture for him.

"Both. His main eye came from his mouth," Lanna said remembering what her dad told her and shivered. "I had nightmares from it."

"It sounds like a nightmare," Goofy said, tilting his head.

Ada picked up the herb and checked the dressers, finding more gold. "I haven't been down this way before, so I don't know what we will see," she said and looked at Lanna. "Did Leon say anything."

Lanna folded her arms, trying to think. "...Yeah...he did," she said, frowning a bit. "He said something about knights with the plaga in it but there are two versions...One we saw in the villagers and another that will stretch and take your head off if your not careful."

"Eh... The monsters on your world are definitely more gruesome then the heartless, Lanna, that's for sure. The heartless are pretty clean about killing for the most part." Sora said rubbing his neck at the thought of some monster ripping his head off.

"They are" Lanna said and sighed a bit as she pushed open the doors, seeing a stone lion at the end of the hall and saw another hall to the left. 'They are blood thirsty that's for sure and they won't give you a break." She turned the corner and stopped, seeing suits of armor along the walls, all wielding axes. "Stay here."

"What? What are you gonna...Lanna!" Donald squawked as he saw the red head started walking down the hallway. A knight came to life, bringing the ax down only for Lanna to do a back flip in time. The suit of armor broke down, leaving empty pieces of armor on the floor.

"I'm fine!" Lanna said as she moved forward again and saw the second knight ready to attack. She did another back flip, landing on her feet as the second body fell apart to the ground.

"Be careful!" Sora called deciding to trust her, but barely restraining himself from rushing out to her side. Riku seeing this decided to be supporting for Sora's nerves and patted his shoulder. Smiling at him in a way that said to 'trust her'.

Lanna went through one more set of an armor attack and did another back flip, landing gracefully on her feet and turned towards the others when she reached the end of the hallway. "See? Piece of cake," she said grinning.

Ada sweatdropped at the girls antics, sighing. "You are your parents daughter..." she said, shaking her head.

Donald and Goofy groaned a bit as they followed the older woman.

"Hey, she learned from the best. What'd you expect?" Jake said proud of Lanna's skills and her cheeky attitude just now reminded him of himself.

Lanna grinned at the others, waiting. They soon joined her at the door where a medium sized circular room laid. In the middle of the room was a stand with King's cup nestled in the middle of it.

"Is that it?" Goofy asked, seeing the cup and looked at the design's on the walls.

"Yeah it is," Ada said nodding and looked around the room.

"Great! Let's take it and go find the next one!" Sora said running up to the cup and grabbing it.

Just as he grabbed it the door slammed shut behind the group and three different sections of the walls started to turn around slowly with a clanking sound of gears working. The walls fully turned around, revealing three suits of armor.

"Fudge rocket..." Lanna groaned. "Dad...why did you have to tell me about suits with plagas..." Kairi swallowed as she gripped her keyblade. "...They look big..."

Ada pulled out her gun. "They are and it's gonna be tight with us all in here," she said and shot at one, watching the suit rumble but didn't do anything. "Lanna...did he say how to kill them?"

"Aim for the heads!" Lanna said, pulling her shotgun out and started to shoot at another.

"Alright!" Sora shouts rushing up one and deflects a sloppy sword swing before slicing the helmet off. Only to reveal a plaga with a sharp blade swinging around wildly, forcing Sora to defend as he backed up.

"Wait..I got an idea." Jake said before looking at Lanna, as he was shooting a helmet off another plaga knight. "Lanna! Do you have any flash grenades?! I remember you mentioned once these plagas are sensitive to bright sources of light!" Jake asks recalling that fact from the tales she told him about Leon's mission here.

Lanna looked at Jake and nodded. "I have two," she said. "And they are! Get the helmets off, guys!"

"Roger!" Ada said shooting at the third and knocked it off. "Now!"

Lanna pulled off the pin and tossed it. "Cover your eyes!" she called out. The grenade hit the floor, bouncing before exploding, releasing bright white light throughout the room. The plagas shrieked and exploded as the armor fell to the ground.

"Nice! Way to go guys!" Sora cheered glad for an easy win for once.

"Good thing they are weak against such sources of light or we'd be in trouble. Think it'd work if you tried that, Sora?" Riku inquires Sora while smiling at the battle being over so easily.

"Maybe, I'll have to see if the keyblade's light can affect them the same way." Sora says not sure himself and mentally noting to try it later.

"if that works, I'm so calling you for future mercenary jobs." Jake says loving the idea of Sora helping out on his missions.

"Don't cheer yet guys," Kairi said as the walls twisted around again like last time and turned again, revealing black suits of armor. "We have company!"

Lanna swore and pulled out her shotgun. "These are the plaga's that will bit your head off if not careful!" she said to them and pushed Kairi away as an ax went after her.

Donald yelped as he slid under a suit of armor, dodging an ax.

"Leave my friends alone!" Sora shouts blocking an ax and cutting the helmet in half. Making it split and reveal the plaga popping out of the suit.

"Watch yourself, Sora!" Ada called out as another helmet came off the second suit of armor. Goofy ducked and threw his shield at the third, hitting the helmet but not yet taking it off. "Darn!"

Kairi turned and summoned her keyblade and sent a small fire spell at the helmet but missed.

"I got it!" Riku shouts knocking the helmet off as he rushed past the plaga knight with a spinning slash. Landing on his feet he sees the plaga come out. "That is one ugly little bastard." Riku swore with a look of disgust seeing the creature.

The creature twisted and turned lunging out at Riku and soon exploded as a bullet went through it. Lanna glared and threw her last flash grenade, destroying the last of the infected knights, leaving behind ammo, gold and a single herb as the gate behind them rose up into the ceiling, releasing them.

"You alright?" Lanna asked Riku and looked at the others, glad to see they were in one piece.

"Yeah, thanks for the save, Lanna." Riku said with a small smile to show his appreciation before looking at Kairi. "How about you, Kairi? You doing okay?"

Kairi smiled and nodded. "Y-Yeah...I'm fine," she said, wheezing a bit. "That was close. And they stink!"

Ada chuckled at that. "That they do," she said. "We have one cup, now we go get the next one. Where is it again?"

"I don't know, but we could try the opposite hallway. See what's there and if it has the other cup." Sora suggests wondering the same thing.

"Let's go!" Donald said, grinning as he left the room and started down the hallway. Goofy followed after him with Kairi right behind. Ada followed after the trio, shaking her head.

Lanna stood up and cracked her back. "Ugh...I hope after this...no more freaking bugs..." she said, remembering the hive on the other side of the door.

Riku followed close to Kairi as Sora stayed close to Lanna with Jake walking next to Ada. "Don't worry little red, I'll squish the big bad bugs for you~" Jake teases Lanna reminding her of the childhood days she used to come to him or her parents when she saw a bug.

Lanna stuck her tongue out him and chuckled. "Yeah," she said. "Only seems like yesterday I ran to you...man, was I that much of a baby?" She shook her head as she remembered those days fondly.

Ada listened to the two talk, glad to see that Lanna was getting her mind off her dead mother and the plaga raging war on her body. Donald and Goofy smiled.

"Don't sweat it, Lanna, kids are always like that. You've grown a lot since then and I mean more than I ever expected you to." Jake informs Lanna smirking at her to let her know he is proud. "One of the best damn students I ever trained and I rarely take students. So that speaks volumes of your ability to impress me."

Lanna flushed and smiled. "Thanks, Jake. That means a lot," she said, glad to hear that and it made her feel better. She wasn't sure if she was doing alright on the mission. She wanted to do her best on this mission as it was her first real one. The commander didn't like putting rookies out on real missions till after they finished their training but this had been an exception, mostly due to stowing away in the back of the truck. The commander would probably have her hide.

"Do you think mom and dad would be proud?" she asked softly.

"I'm sure they're always proud of you. I can't get them to ever shut up about you." Jake said honestly remembering fondly how they'd talk about concerns and praises for their little angel. It used to annoy him and amuse him at times back then, now he'd love to have it all again...

Lanna smiled lightly and looked up at the ceiling, feeling tears weld up in her eyes. She took a shaky breath. She remembered getting annoyed with her parents at times and just wanted to disappear at times, but now...she wanted those times again. "I'll kill them both," she said, acid in her tone. She had her parents temper that was for sure as her eyes flashed. "They'll be the ones running with their tails between their legs."

"You won't be alone." Sora said placing a calming, but reassuring and supporting hand on her shoulder.

"He's right, we all have a bone to pick with Maleficent and Wesker now." Riku agrees stepping up next to his best friend.

Lanna looked at them, seeing the faces of her friends and nodded. "Yeah" she said.

"We're in this for the long haul," Ada said. "All of us."

"Thank you."

"Thank us after we kill Wesker and Maleficent, and then finish our rescue mission." Jake says checking his guns again out of habit.

Lanna nodded at that. "Right," she said and checked her guns. "Let's get going."

Ada led the group out of the hallway and into another one where they were greeted by a group of Zealots with scythes and shields. One of them had the last cup.

Lanna smirked. "Who's ready for some fun?" she asked as everyone drew, and in some cases summoned, their weapons.

"Bring it on!" Sora shouts rushing ahead with Riku behind him. "Kairi! Back us up with Donald and Goofy! Ada, best hang with Jake and Lanna!" Riku suggests to his comrades as he follows Sora to make sure he doesn't get hurt.

"Okay!" Ada said as went off with Lanna and Jake. Lanna pulled out her Glock as the Zealots ran towards them. Ada took aim and fired at one, taking it out easily. Lanna aimed and fired at one with a shield, killing it with a second shot.

Sora dodge rolls between two zealots as one tries to cut him with a sword and the other using a mace. Riku takes the time to jump over them with a back flip drawing their attention as Sora cuts them down from behind.

"Too easy." Riku says with a smirk as he lands behind Sora who smirks back. Both deflecting two mace strikes from a shield and mace wielders. Before both lash out with counter slashes destroying the shields and deeply cutting into the shield arm of the zealots. The Zealots stumble back a bit, only to widen their eyes in surprise as both Sora and Riku instantly decapitate them both.

Ada picked up the cup and looked at the others. "Done," she said. Donald and Goofy picked up the dropped items with Kairi. Lanna looked as the bodies dissolved into the floor. "Let's get the cups into the right places and get through the next part" she said.

Donald nodded. "Yeah," he said as Ada put the cup into hands of the Queen.

"Here's your cup, your majesty." Sora said humorously as he placed the King's cup in the King's hands.

The gate rose once the cups were placed into the hands. Ada pushed opened the door, revealing a large room with a walkway that was broken off in some places. Overhead was a large hive hanging from the ceiling. Lanna swallowed a bit at that, gripping her pants.

"Okay...that thing is huge..." Kairi said as she stepped next to Riku and Ada, looking up.

"Yup, it sure is. Lanna, stay back and let the boy's handle this one." Jake says holing up his magnum as he looks toward Sora and Riku. "Any chance you two can spare some fire magic on that? I guarantee it's got a lot of bugs in it and I rather not fight an army. We'll shoot whatever comes out, but we need you to destroy that hive." Jake says getting nods from Sora and Riku.

"Leave it to us, Jake!" Sora says while Riku smirks nodding in agreement. Both aim their keyblades as the tips glow hot and fiery.

"Firaga!"

"Dark Firaga!" Sora and Riku shout at the same time firing two giant sized fireballs into the hive. It was soon set on fire with red and orange flames on one part, while the other had black and purple flames.

The hive didn't stand a chance as bugs came out, but only to be hit with the Firaga spells and their bodies fell into the abyss. The hive shook loose from the ceiling and fell, missing the group. On the walkway left jewels glittering. Ada and Kairi went over to the items and picked them up.

"Nice one guys!" Kairi said grinning as she and Ada stepped towards the group. Lanna nodded, smiling as she stayed back with Donald and Goofy. "You did great!"

Kairi and Ada stood next to Riku, unaware of the trap door underneath their feet.

"Now that's over we can get through the rest of the place," Ada said.

"Yeah, the tower will be up next," Lanna said and frowned a bit, feeling something was off and blinked as a clicking sound was heard. Gasping as she saw a door dropping under her friends feet.

"Look out!"

Kairi and Ada screamed as they dropped through the doorway.

"Aaaahhhh!" Riku, Kairi, and Ada screamed as the door shut once they fell in. Sora rushing to the ground they fell through and beating on it with his keyblade. "Open up! Open up damn it!" Sora shouts feeling his worry spiking as two of his childhood friends and Ada all got swallowed up by the trap door.

"Shit! Was that here during Leon's time?!" Jake asks worried about the spy and Sora's two friends.

Lanna swore. "No! That wasn't here!" she said, looking worried and ran her hands over the doors edges. "It's...completely brand new!"

(Scene change: Chris and Jill's P.O.V.)

"Chris, look!" Jill said seeing three people falling through the air and landing on a pile of rags, bracing their fall. "Isn't that Ada?" She looked at her husband.

"It is...But what is she doing here, non to mention with those two?" Chris said still a bit suspicious of Ada, despite Leon's insistence of Ada's innocence about what happened in Edonia. Yes, he trusts Leon, to a degree. That whole mess in China made him worried about Leon's priorities and made it harder to accept him as Claire's boyfriend. Though after a while he grew to trust him enough to not kill him when Claire showed the ring he proposed to her with.

Didn't mean he would ever trust Ada though, that woman has a reputation as a clever and manipulative spy. He could see she's done some good, but it was usually for a very good reason or to gain something.

"Wesker must be up to something," Jill said looking concerned and looked at Chris. "It look's like they're in an arena or something," she looked back at the screen, frowning a bit and gasped as all color drained from her face. "No...Elly!"

A cage was rolled in with two familiar people. Sherry and Elly.

"No!" Chris shouts seeing the one thing he was honestly hoping wouldn't happen. His poor baby girl was locked in a cage as was Sherry. He knew if Jake saw this or learned of it, he was gonna be furious.

"Damn you, Wesker! Was getting us involved in your scheme not enough!" Chris shouts in anger slamming into the bars more. Desperately wishing he could bust himself free, but he knew he couldn't. Not once did these infernal bars move even an inch from Jill's and his own attacks.

Jill couldn't believe it...their daughter, here? To make matter's worse, Sherry was here as well. Jake would be pissed. Who else from their family would be caught up in this madness?

"Chris...I'm scared..." Jill said, watching the scene, her eyes filled with worry. They saw Ada checking up on Riku and Kairi and the look of surprise on her face was too real to be fake.

"I know Jill...I know...We just have to hope that Lanna, Jake, Sora, Goofy, and Donald can save them. Though for once, I can't believe I am saying this, I truly hope Ada and her two friends save them and get us out of this mess." Chris said hopefully for Lanna's group to find them and rescue them. While reluctantly admitting to himself he'd welcome even Ada's help if it saves them.

(Scene Change: Leon's, Claire's, and Simmons P.O.V.)

Leon cursed as he saw Elly and Sherry inside cages of the same room Ada, Riku, and Kairi have all landed inside of. The fact they were seeing these videos only meant one thing. Wesker was about to unleash some other abomination of nature on them or set off some twisted trap.

"No, Sherry, Elly!" Leon shouts gripping the bars of his cage in anger and worry.

"No!" Claire cried as she saw the girls, it was only made worse when they saw Riku and the others. She didn't trust the Asian woman mostly due to her playing with Leon's mind and feelings, as she had been a reason for their rocky start of a relationship, before they got married. She gripped the bars as she saw Riku and the others check on Sherry and Elly.

"Please...not them...why...?"

They watched as Riku was about to attempt to open the cages, before he looks up in shock and quickly rolls away barely avoiding a green thunderbolt. Leaving a scorch mark in front of the cage as Riku shot to his feet again as Ada and Kairi looked in the same direction. All of them pale in the face as they saw the two masterminds in the same room smirking at them.

"This just went from bad to worse..." Leon said hoping to God that Riku was strong enough to handle both of them. Ada was good, but against a witch and Wesker together was too much for the spy, plus she definitely wasn't in her youth anymore. She was still in very good shape, yes, but age has ways of messing you up in terms of combat potential.

Kairi as well is a problem because from what little Leon knows, she's the least experienced keyblade wielder between the three teens.

Simmons smirked. "My dear Claire, your about to see one hellish fight," he said and looked at the spy. "Oh Ada...you should have been mine. You wouldn't have to go through this." There was a sadness in his tone but it was tinged with something else, possessiveness?

(Scene change: Riku, Ada and Kairi's P.O.V.)

Ada smirked as she saw Wesker, her old boss. 'So good to see you again, Wesker," she said, her tone unfeeling.

"That's...You're the asshole who shot a dart at my neck! What did you do to my parents?!" Riku says seeing Wesker look too similar to blurry image that shot him in the neck back on Destiny Islands.

Wesker smirked. "Do not worry. They're just sleeping. They should be awake by now," he said, shrugging a bit. Ada put a hand on Riku's shoulder, trying to calm him.

"Why are Sherry and Elly here?" Ada demanded the two, eyes narrowed. Kairi stayed close to Riku.

"Why they are here as a captive audience and as guests of course." Maleficent informs with a cold smile that Riku knew meant she had more planned than she was admitting. "Though you on the other hand are here for one purpose only. So we can get rid of certain thorns that could prove troublesome." Maleficent says as Riku shifts to stand in front of Kairi with his Way to Dawn keyblade out.

Ada's eyes narrowed. "Hah," she said. "Even if we fall, you won't win so easily." She believed in Sora and the others. As well as in Riku and Kairi too. She felt nervous, but she wouldn't show it. She pulled her crossbow out. "Lanna, Sora, his friends, and Jake will take you down."

Wesker chuckled. "We shall see, though Lanna's time is running out. The plaga has hatched and it's growing. She won't be much use soon," he said, his eyes flashing.

"Don't bet on it! Sora and the others will cure her. While you on the other hand," Riku states trailing off as he steps in front of Kairi and Ada looking determined. "I'll spare Sora, Lanna, and Jake this nightmare you started by taking you out!"

Wesker smirked. "We shall see," he said, his eyes flashing. "Maleficent? Shall we?" he asked.

Ada took a stance, knowing there was an attack coming up. "Get ready, Riku," she said. She had seen Wesker fight and knew he was fast but she was clueless about the witch. Kairi gave a small whimper as the tensions were rising quickly.

"Yes, let's show these ingrates true power!" Maleficent flaring some of her own darkness.
