Well, now that I've stopped procrastinating and finally started writing this story again, I can hopefully put out more chapters than just one every month. Though, I probably won't be updating as often until summer comes. (Which is really close, I'm excited. I need a break from all this complicated school stuff.) During summer, it might be worse though. I have almost 3 months to procrastinate during, so that might be a bit of a tough time. Plus, I'm going to about six different summer camps AND my mother is make me learn latin. Oh god, I have a fun summer coming up...

I'm actually kind of excited about this chapter. I plan on changing the previous story a bit and making a new ending. It may or may not be worse. It'll be a little weird to write though, which I'm sort of excited about.

Oh, one more thing before I release you into the world of Doctor Who. I actually have a ton of outtakes and one-shots stored up from scenes I had decided either not to do or had just randomly come up with during my months of procrastination. I was thinking of making an Outtake story, just a thing full of outtakes, short stories, and possibly requests for Phoenix in it. What is your guys view on that?

Like always, I hope you enjoy!

The next couple weeks in the Tardis were extremely boring. Phoenix spent most of it trying to calm the Doctor and Donna down. She actually got sort of lucky, and arrived literally right after they returned to the Tardis from Midnight. Of course, she had to explain what happened, excluding the parts she had talked about with the 11th Doctor. Timelines and all.

Phoenix was sitting at the chair of her desk, staring at her blank laptop computer screen. Lately, she had been writing stories to pass the time. Stories of her adventures, with twists and different names, of course.

But on this particular day, Phoenix couldn't seem to focus. Something about the room seemed off to her, as if the time inside of it was being messed with or something. Yes, it was weird sounding, but it was the only thing that sounded as if it made a little bit of sense.

Also, the drums were being extra annoying. She had just barely started to get used to them, but then they went and got louder. It was rather odd though, because she had been fine for a while but it was all of a sudden flaring up.

Phoenix glanced to the bookshelf near the desk and started standing up before stopping short. Sitting on the shelf was an intricate silver pocket watch with swirling designs on it and red gems embedded into it. It glimmered in the light coming from the stars in her ceiling, and it looked almost as if it wasn't real. Which wouldn't exactly surprise Phoenix, as she had been hallucinating a lot recently.

Seriously, at one point she had thought Donna was a Dalek and she tried to attack her. It was a scary moment, for both her and Donna. And the Doctor, after he arrived to see the scene. Phoenix felt immensely contrite, and was very apologetic afterwards.

She slowly stood up, walking over to her bookshelf and reaching her hand out for the item. It was her watch. The one she had mysteriously lost a while back. She stopped short, however. A single thought kept flying through her mind. What if it was a trap?

It called to her, almost as if it was whispering her name. But no sounds were heard, and that confused Phoenix. Was it a telepathic thing? If so, how could it get into her mind with the drums blocking the way?

Finally shrugging her shoulders, Phoenix grabbed the watch. She immediately regretted it afterwards however. Her skinned gained that familiar tingling feeling and a golden light started to cover her body. She sighed, rushing over to the door and flinging it open with a jolt. "Doctor! I'm leaving!"

Truthfully, she was ready to get out of that hellhole. Not that she didn't enjoy the 10th Doctor's presence, it was just that she was allowed to do absolutely nothing. She couldn't even leave her room most of the time. As soon as she got the chance, she was going to redecorate her room a bit.

The golden light soon surrounded Phoenix, and she was about to leave. But suddenly, it stopped, as if something had cut it off. What the hell?

She glanced around and noticed a golden light coming off from the floor. It was surrounding her pocket watch that she had dropped when she went to tell the Doctor she was leaving.

Phoenix walked over to it and quickly picked it up, hissing slightly as it burned her hand. But, the golden glow returned to her, and she was off going to some other adventure that would require lots of effort on her part.

Phoenix reappeared inside… 10's Tardis? Again? She looked around. It looked exactly the same as before. Same dingy orange-yellow glow, same boring brown console, same messy everything. She was rather confused. She didn't just jump to the console room a minute later, right? She faintly remembered the Doctor being in the console room before she went into her room, disproving her theory. Well, hopefully.

Phoenix shrugged, and decided to go on the reckless route and open the door. She crept over to it and pulled the door open, about to step out when she noticed exactly was outside.

First off, there were a bunch of guns pointed at her. She had a rather disliking to guns since the one time in Nevada. But truthfully, any weapon made her nervous since that month. Which made traveling difficult with the Doctor because he was met with weapons quite a bit.

Secondly, standing there, was actually one of her least favorite characters. Yvonne, from the head of Torchwood. The bad one, mind you. She loved the one Jack had built up out of the ground. Which reminded her, when was she actually going to meet Jack? She had seen him briefly at the beginning of her adventures, but that felt like an eternity ago, and she hadn't truly met him.

Phoenix stood there, crossing her arms with her eyebrows raised as she watched everyone clap for her as if she was some sort of celebrity. As if she had equal status with the Doctor. It almost made her laugh. She was nothing, if not something that got in the way. She never helped, just always made things worse. It was a wonder the Doctor even kept her in the first place. He could have just as easily kicked her out on the streets. Maybe he did at some point.

Something finally sunk in after they stopped clapping. She was standing in Torchwood, the old one. There was only one time the Doctor ever came there, and that was for Doomsday. She had arrived at the day Rose died a lot sooner than she had hoped she would.

"Uh, I kind of came for The Doctor… where is he?" Phoenix asked, finally saying something after a long pause of very awkward silence. What were you supposed to say after an applause like that?

"Oh, checking out our sphere downstairs. Follow me." Yvonne said, turning on her heel abruptly and walking off in some unknown direction, presumably toward the Dalek sphere. Phoenix sighed. She was not excited for this at all.

They eventually arrived into the room of the Dalek sphere, which was a big room full of technological items that looked rather complicated. Phoenix ducked behind a pillar, not wanting to be seen just yet. Plus, she was pretty sure Yvonne had forgotten about her anyways.

"We tried analyzing it using every device imaginable." Rejesh said, fixing his glasses as he stared at the sphere. Phoenix grinned slightly. That was because it didn't exist, technically. It wasn't supposed to exist.

The Doctor stuck his hand into his pocket and pulled out a pair of 3D glasses before slipping them on and looking up at the sphere again. Phoenix's grin widened. She had a pair too! She pulled them out of her bigger-on-the-inside jacket pocket and slipped them on as well. Billions of tiny little particles began to surround the Doctor and the Void ship. She probably had a lot on herself as well, from going to this universe and all.

"But according to our instruments, the sphere doesn't exist. It weighs nothing, it doesn't age. No heat, no radiation, and has no atomic mass." Rajesh said, his voice showing clear curiosity and interest.

"But I can see it!" Jackie exclaimed, confused.

"Fascinating, isn't it? It upsets people because it gives off nothing. It is absent." Rajesh said, giving off a creepy grin. He was a little too obsessed with the sphere actually.

"Well, Doctor?" Yvonne asked, waiting for the Doctor to tell them all what it was. But actually, Phoenix had a better idea.

"This is a void ship." Phoenix said, stepping out from her hiding spot and walking up toward the sphere. "It travels between dimensions, protecting anything inside of it. You could live out eternity in there. You could survive the end of the universe, beginning of the next, and so on. You live outside of time. It doesn't exist, it shouldn't exist!" She swiftly glared at the ship, knowing what was inside.

"Phoenix! When did you get here? And also, number?" The Doctor questioned, a happy grin on his face. He looked almost like a puppy. It was rather cute, actually.

"Roughly five minutes ago. Torchwood should really lay off the guns, I didn't have the best of greetings. Though, I did get a big round of applause. And… Eleven." Phoenix said, crossing her arms with a slightly frown.

"Um, excuse me, what's a void ship?" Yvonne asked, interrupting us. Had the women not listened to her explanation? God, she was trying to shorten things up here!"

"It's a vessel designed to travel outside time and space, through the void and such. There could be something in there, traveling through the void to keep safe or to explore." Phoenix said, pausing for a moment, before continuing. "Now, before you ask, the void is the space between dimensions. There's all sorts of realities around us, different dimensions and universes next to each other. The void is the space in between, containing basically nothing. Humans often call it Hell. Now, can we get on with and just skip to the part where you open the rift? I have something important I have to do and hell, I'm not exactly in the mood to wait."

"You see, we were right. There is something inside it." Yvonne stated, excited. She really shouldn't be though.

"Very much so. Let's move to the part where you show us how it started. Through the rift thing. You know, where all the ghosts come from?" Phoenix said impatiently, putting her hands on her hips and tapping her foot. She really wanted to add some extra safety precautions to make sure Rose didn't fall into the bloody void, and she only had a limited time to do it. She would prefer if it were sooner than later.

Yvonne nodded, leading them all out of the room and up to the office area thing.

"There sphere came through here. A hole in the world. Not active at the moment, but when we fire particle engines at that exact spot, the breech opens up." Yvonne explained as they reached the rift.

"How did you even find it?" The Doctor asked, inspecting it very closely.

That was as far as Phoenix's attention span could stretch, however. She immediately walked closer to the lever, touching along the edge. If she could somehow jam it later, it would stay open and it wouldn't try to close on Rose, meaning she could stay hanging on. Or she could insist Rose stay on the side with the Doctor, so that she would sacrifice her own life instead. Rose deserved the happily ever after more than she did anyways.

Phoenix glanced over to where Jackie was standing, at the window, and walked over to her, looking out at the city with gleaming eyes. It was so pretty from far up, she couldn't help but smile. She may not have been in that great of a mood, but she couldn't help but enjoy beauty while she could. It wasn't exactly a rare sight, but no one else would see the city exactly like it was in that moment ever again. That was an amazing thing. Well, except for the Doctor. He really just didn't count.

"Rose is down there, somewhere." Jackie said suddenly, staring outside with sullen eyes.

"She'll always come back to you, you know that right?" Phoenix remarked softly, turning her head to look at Jackie.

"I know, I just wish I could have a sign that she was safe." She said, sighing.

"Hey, Jackie, you trust me, right?" Phoenix said, leaning against the window. Jackie nodded, and Phoenix smiled.

"That's good, because it's my first time meeting you." Phoenix said, and Jackie's eyes widened. Phoenix laughed. "But I promise, right now Rose is safe." She stated, her face turning serious yet again. She wasn't going to tell Rose's mother there was a chance that her daughter could die. That would be disastrous. But should she tell the Doctor?

Because, in some fanfictions, the Doctor gets really pissed off that the girl knew Rose would die and didn't tell him. But in others, the Doctor supported that she couldn't tell him. Phoenix sighed. Her life was bloody complicated. What the hell was she going to do?

Phoenix paces back and forth, pondering on what to do. It was anything but a simple decision, and she was really putting some though into it. Rose had always been one of her favorite characters, even if she had been sort of rude at times. And an idiot. But all humans were.

'What are you worried about?" The Doctor asked as he walked up next to Phoenix, watching her pace back and forth.

"Hmm. A decision." She said vaguely.

"What decision?" He questioned, staring at her curiously. Who knew what she was thinking.

"What if I said I knew something? Something very important, and if I tell you, could save some lives, but it could possibly create a paradox. But if I don't tell you, there's a chance you'll get mad at me for not telling you and you could kick me off the Tardis. And I pretty obviously don't want that to happen." Phoenix said, still pacing.

"How could I get so mad at you I kick you off the Tardis?" The Doctor said, surprised.

"I've seen it happen." Phoenix said, sighing and sitting down on the window ledge.

"You mean I've kicked you out of the Tardis?" The Doctor asked, shock apparent in his voice.

"No no no no no! Well, not yet I suppose. It could possibly happen after this, as I said. I've just read about alternate dimensions where you kick companions out of the Tardis…" Phoenix said, trailing off. She probably shouldn't have mentioned that last part.

The Doctor sighed, rubbing his hand through his hair, messing it up more than it already was. He looked so sexy when he did that… Phoenix mentally slapped herself. Where the hell had that thought come from?

"Well, I wouldn't tell me. A paradox would be the worst thing, no matter how bad you the thing you're thinking of it." The Doctor said logically.

Phoenix nodded. "Promise me you won't get mad at me for what is to come, considering you told me not to tell you?" Phoenix asked, a desperate looking in her eye.

The Doctor nodded. "Promise."

Phoenix nodded her head, smiling. She was glad the Doctor had agreed to it. "So be it."

The Doctor than proceeded to look out the window, a sad look on his face. Phoenix just left him alone. She had enough problems of her own, she didn't need his as well.

Phoenix sat in a spiny chair not far away. She suddenly felt exhausted. It must have been from all the mental strain she had been going through.

"Next ghost shift's in two minutes."

Phoenix groaned. It was going to be a hell of a long day, wasn't it? And it was only going to get worse. Much, much, much worse.

Much much much much much much worse. I sort of feel sorry for Phoenix. I mean, I've given her like the worst life ever. It'll be sunshine and rainbows and shit soon though, so she'll suffer through a little longer. Okay, maybe a lot longer. Like a year or so longer. (Hint Hint Hint)

I hope you enjoyed!
