Sorry for the long wait everyone. I won't bore you with excuses, so without further delay, here is the continuation of You Were My First! :3
Lucas and Ponce stood still, eyes locked in a stare down. Sylva quietly helped Jace to his feet, the absol quickly taking a fighting stance beside the Lucario/umbreon hybrid.
"Your move Ponce." Lucas challenged the large crock.
"You're not even worth my time pipsqueak." Ponce snarled, turning away and taking his entourage with him. Lucas and Jace relaxed as Loki ran up and tackeled the absol in a tight hug.
"L-loki! T-too tight!" Jace chocked out, prompting the zoroark to loosen his grip.
"Sorry, hehe… I was worried about you…" Loki chuckled. Lucas shook his head amusedly at the zoroark's antics.
"So I'm guessing you three are friends then?" He asked calmly. The trio nodded cheerfully.
"Yea, the rest of our group is right over there." Loki answered, pointing off to the girls. "Say…. Why don't you join us?" he continued. Lucas looked over at the group of females, then back to the trio.
"I.. guess it couldn't hurt.." He answered calmly. The zoroark grinned, grabbing the hybrid's hand and dragging him off to their spot on the sand.
"Damn… Loki works fast." Sylva commented in surprise.
"He's hard not to like." Jace stated before following the fox.
Sylva smiled In agreement before tagging along.
Once introductions had been made, the group quickly settled back into goofing off. Luna and Sally, having set up the net, dragged Lucas and Haley into a game of volleyball. Jace, Loki, and Sylva were goofing around in the water. Darla and Meg were now walking about, collecting seashells for a project they wanted to do. Alas, as is often the case when having fun, the afternoon raced by. Loki walked up to his towel, getting dressed and grabbing his bag.
"I'm heading out everybody," He announced with an apologetic smile, "I need to get home, I have a mountain of homework to do."
"Alright bud, see ya 'round." Jace replied with a casual grin as Sylva nodded in agreement. The girls waved as the zoroark started toward home. Lucas joined the dark fox as he walked.
"Mind if I tag along? I live a few doors down from you." The hybrid asked calmly.
"It's fine. At least it'll keep Ponce from bothering me if he's still around." Loki answered with a sigh. "What's that asshole's problem anyway?"
"honestly? I don't think anyone knows."
"So… why's an athlete hanging around a bunch of garden club goof balls? I mean, yea, Jace and Sylva are in the battle club, but still…."
"You've never done anything to me, and you're all pretty nice," The hybrid shrugged softly, "I see no reason to ignore you all."
After that, the duo walked in silence until they reached Loki's house. The fox turned to Lucas as they stopped at the end of his driveway, smiling.
"Well, thanks for walking me home Lucas." With that, Loki leaned in and kissed the hybrid's cheek softly. "And thanks for helping Jace and Sylva. It means a lot to me."
With that, Loki walked up the drive and disappeared into the house. Lucas stood there, a light blush coloring his muzzle as he stared dumbly at the door. Finally shaking himself from his thoughts, the lucario/umbreon morph walked quickly toward his house, fighting down all of the inappropriate thoughts now running through his head thanks to a certain, purple-haired fox with beautiful, golden eyes.
