I have finally updated! It wasn't as long of a wait as some of the other times, but it still feels like it's been a long time. This summer for me personally has gone by a lot slower than I thought it would. But at the same time, it went by really fast.

Anyways, this chapter is kind of... Eh. It's a transitioning chapter to the main part of the story and all of that. I don't really like the way it turned out, but I can't really think of any other way to write this. I hope you enjoy this chapter!

Phoenix leaned against a tree, watching the shenanigans of three Doctors happen as she played with the red fez in her possession. Truthfully, it was a bit more boring seeing it in real life. The dialogue changed even. Of course, they were just as shocked, but the War Doctor happened to know who they were. Which, of course, was Phoenix's fault, seeing as she had basically explained it beforehand. So, she never got to see the bit where the Doctor's showed off their sonic screwdrivers.

Someone out there had decided to be nice, and while they were jumping through the portal, her outfit changed into a long red dress of that time period. It looked similar to Queen Elizabeth's but a blood red color. The fact that someone thought that was her perfect color worried her slightly but she shook it off as nothing.

Phoenix had, of course, started thinking again. Why was she just accepting the fact that she was with Rose? When did that whole relationship start? Why did it start in the first place? Yes, Phoenix thought she had feelings, but were they actually feelings? Was it just lust? The questions continued to build up, but no answers came her way. Could the questions actually ever be answered?

Phoenix ran a hand through her hair, frustrated with her thoughts. She was accepting it because she knew it was her future. Her future was planned out, step by step. Who she was going to be with, what was going to happen, how it was going to happen. All because she didn't have a linear timeline anymore. She was constantly jumping to points in the past and future. It was all a complicated mess, but if she jumped to some point right before Rose died, they would have been in a relationship for a long while. But then if a future Phoenix were to jump towards the start of when Rose became the Doctor's companion, Phoenix would have a relationship with her but Rose wouldn't. It was already planned out for her, and there wasn't any stopping it.

Or was there? She could always change time. She could deny Rose every time and see where that lead them. But it could change her whole future, and she couldn't do that. It seemed to her like her whole life was a fixed point, unless you wanted to drastically change the universe. Not saying that she was a very important person in the universe, but would it actually go back to how it had been before she had been there? Phoenix had never realized how much of a possibility that was. If you got rid of her role in the Doctor's story, it would go back to the Doctor and Rose falling in love, and anything she changed would go back to normal.

Glancing over to the three Doctors, Phoenix began starting to consider it. It would make a lot of sense, as long as she did it right. She couldn't just die, she would have to be erased from history. Completely erased from the universe. Phoenix sighed, glancing at the Moment who was leaning against the tree across from her. She was staring intently at Phoenix, almost studying her. Phoenix's face flashed with confusion, before looking over at the Doctors again.

She had just noticed that the guards had begun to surround the three, with the tenth Doctor and the eleventh Doctor pointing their sonic screwdrivers at them. Phoenix sighed, before pushing herself off the tree and walking over into the circle of guards. She wasn't sure what else she was to do, the whole getting captured part was a good twenty minutes of the episode. And it was a really important conversation, one Phoenix didn't want to miss. Plus, what was she going to do in the middle of a forest? Sit and think again? She needed to get her mind off things for a while with a little bit of action.

"This has all the makings of your lucky day." The War Doctor said as she finally got close enough to hear. She had been standing quite a distance off, though close enough that it didn't take but a minute to walk over to the circle. She glanced up at the portal, before shifting awkwardly to the side as she felt the stares of multiple men. She knew it wasn't the Doctors, so it was obviously the guards that were staring at her. Phoenix was really hoping it was just the streak of color in the front of her hair, but she knew that wasn't the case.

"There's a precedent for that." Kate said, replying to the statement that Phoenix hadn't exactly heard but knew Clara had said. She was having a hard time paying attention, as she was trying to hide behind the 10th Doctor. Obviously it wasn't working, as the guards were circled around them, but she still attempted. All three Doctors spared a confused glance, but did nothing else as they did have to face the situation in front of them.

"What is that?" The head guard said, the fear written all over his face clearly. To Phoenix, it almost seemed fake, but then again she was feeling rather dizzy and she guessed that her senses weren't working that well. She really didn't like the feeling though, making her want to hurry the scene along so she could get to the jail and actually sit down.

"It's witchcraft!" Phoenix exclaimed, popping out from behind the Doctor with fake energy as she turned towards the portal. "Clara, could you be so kind as to tell these prattling mortals to get themselves begone?"

"What she said." Clara said in an almost monotonous voice. Phoenix sighed, before scolding Clara and reminding her that this was 1562 and that she had to add a bit more colour or else they wouldn't believe her. Not in those exact words, but the message was the same. Clara sighed, before trying again. "Right. Prattling mortals, off you pop, or I'll turn you all into frogs."

"Ooo, frogs. Nice. You heard her." The 11th Doctor grinned, pointing his sonic screwdriver at the guards, while the 10th Doctor did the same thing. The War Doctor looked rather confused, like he wasn't sure what he was supposed to do, yet he wanted to do something.

"Phoenix, what's going on?" Clara questioned, her frustration showing through her voice. Phoenix smiled slightly, knowing she was dying to be on the other side of the portal and actually part of the adventure. Just like she had been when she watched Doctor Who.

"Well, a bunch of guards of Queen Elizabeth the First have circled us, saying that the Queen was bewitched by the Doctor's hands. You know, the witchcraft thing really didn't help, but it was the Doctor's idea in the first place, or it was going to be. Anyways, the guards are about to arrest us to the Tower, you know the one that happens to be called the Tower of London. Anyways, the Queen is a Zygon which is an alien from another world that can basically morph into the image of other beings and retain their memories. Be warned, there are Zygons where you are at the moment, which happen to be hiding as statues, but don't freak out because they aren't harmless at this exact moment, nor will they be later. Now, I want you to follow Kate to find the Time Vortex Manipulator, the one Jack used to have. We'll have the passcode for the device scratched into the stone in the jail. I just revealed my plan basically to these guards but I doubt they understood half of that. I'll stop rambling now, but I could have summed that all up without being too helpful by saying what the Doctor was going to say originally, it's a timey-wimey thing." Phoenix rambled, pacing slightly as she said all of this.

"Timey what? Timey-wimey?" The War Doctor questioned, staring at Phoenix with confusion. She just smirked back at him, with an almost devious twinkle in her eye.

"I have no idea where she picks that stuff up." The 10th Doctor commented, shaking his head slightly and scrunching his nose up almost in disgust. Phoenix giggled slightly, before replying.

"Well, of course you do. You're the one who came up with it, didn't you Doctor? Best way to describe time and all of that. Why wibbly wobbly timey wimey? Was that all you could come up with while you were trying to get your Tardis back from the angels? You could have actually explained something to someone for once." The Doctor paled considerably as soon as the word 'angels' was mentioned. Did the Doctor have a worse time with the angels than in the TV show?

Just as Phoenix had finished her statement, the Queen walked into the scene. All of the guards immediately dropped to their knee and bowed their heads. The Queen had an evil smirk that would seem like it came from a Zygon, but Phoenix knew better.

"You don't seem to be kneeling. How tremendously brave of you." The Queen exclaimed, her voice thick with a cocky and firm attitude. That, of course, wasn't an act. From what Phoenix had seen, she kind of seemed like that type of person.

"Which one are you? What happened to the other one?" The 10th Doctor said, panic flashing in his eyes as he noticed there wasn't 2 queens but instead only one.

"Indisposed. Long live the Queen." The Queen said with a grin, while the guards chanted the second part after her. "Arrest these men. Take them to the Tower."

"That is not the Queen of England, that's an alien duplicate!" The 10th Doctor exclaimed, pointing a finger at the Queen. Phoenix shook her head softly, sighing deeply. Did he really think the guards were going to believe him, after all the witchcraft they had pulled? If so, he really was an idiot.

"And you can take it from him, cos he's really checked."

"Oh, shut up."

"Venom sacs in the tongue."

"Seriously, stop it."

"No, hang on. The Tower. Did you say the Tower? Ah, yes, brilliant. Love the Tower. Breakfast at eight, please. Will there be Wi-Fi?" The Doctor questioned, moving his hands about in a motion as what the War Doctor referred to as 'flapping'.

"And no one listens to me, as always." Phoenix mumbled, leaning against a tree once again. It was kind of turning into a pattern.

"Are you capable of speaking without flapping your hands about?" The War Doctor questioned, looking at the Doctor with a weird glint in his eye. Phoenix felt rather sorry for him. It seemed as if at the moment his only dialogue was questions.

"Yes." The Doctor began 'flapping' his hands about again. "No. I demand to be incarcerated in the Tower immediately with my co-conspirators Sandshoes, Phoenix and Granddad."

"Granddad?"

"They're not sandshoes."

"Yes, they are."

"Silence. The Tower is not to be taken lightly. Very few emerge again." The Queen commanded, making the Doctors straighten up a bit. Phoenix chuckled, before pushing herself off the tree and standing behind the three Doctors. Kind of a metaphor for her life, wasn't it?

The guards began walking them through the forest, some of them tripping over roots of trees that had grown awkwardly to the side. Phoenix had to hold in her laughter every time. They were guards, they were supposed to be aware of things like that.

Eventually, they reached the castle, which seemed bigger than in the TV show, which wasn't all that surprising. Everything on the television seemed smaller. She used to think the Doctor was a lot shorter than he actually was. He was a bloody tower, for god's sake.

One guard had been standing suspiciously close to her the whole trip, even brushing his hand against the side of her dress, making her extremely uncomfortable. She had considered saying something to him about it, but she didn't want to cause a scene, and she doubt the guards would take it well either. She didn't really feel like getting executed at the moment.

"You probably don't want to be in that dingy jail cell with all those old men. You could come with me and we could… have some fun." The guard whispered in her ear as they reached the jail cell, crossing the line of what she was even remotely comfortable with. She swiftly turned around, a cross look on her face, and smartly backhanded him across the face. The man stumbled back, clutching his cheek with wide eyes as if he was extremely surprised a girl had just slapped him. He probably was.

Phoenix turned on her heal and stormed into the jail cell, slamming the door shut with a loud crash, making the whole room shake a little bit. Her hands were clenched into fists, so tightly that her nails had begun digging into her palms and making them bleed. She took a few shaky breaths, before leaning against the wall and sliding down to the floor. All three Doctor's had their eyebrows raised, as if to say "Do you care to share why you just slapped the guard?"

"He had tried to lure me into his bedroom instead of coming into here, I had every right to slap that bastard." Phoenix growled, her eyes burning with anger as she replayed the scene in her head. She could handle a lot of things, and normally she could handle that, but with everything that had been happening lately, she had to take her emotions out on someone.

She glanced over to the Moment, who yet again was staring intently at her. What was it with her? Why did she keep staring? It was getting annoying, all the eyes on her. She wasn't used to it. She hadn't really had any friends back in her own universe, and it was tough enough trying to act extremely happy and energetic all the time for her new ones. It was getting stressful, and overwhelming her brain.

With that, her vision began to darken, and she slowly slid her eyes closed, slumping down for the much needed rest she hadn't gotten for weeks on end.

Again, I'm kind of conflicted on this chapter. I feel like I made Phoenix too... moody. Hmm. What do you guys think?

Oh, and the results for the side story are in! Seems like I'm doing a Phoenix x Rose side story (A very fluffy one at that). I'll have to wait a bit before actually doing anything, I need a certain part of the story to pass before I can really start on it.
