Yagi squirmed as Recovery Girl stared him down. The tall hero had already been lectured on how dangerous it was to throw around a child like that by Aizawa and now the same thing was happening with her. Although, looking at the child who couldn't be over five lying in the hospital bed, he felt extremely guilty. (Yagi ignored the fact that he'd had to get healed by Recovery Girl just to rid himself of the ache in his hand from said boy biting him hard enough to cut through muscle.)

"The consequences of head trauma on a child can be devastating! He could've lost his hearing, his ability to speak, his sight or his sense of taste just from an accidental swing! The only reason that didn't happen is because- because…"

Recovery Girl paused her rant to look at the other children on beds next to the injured one. "Because they have multiple quirks, one of which is a healing quirk."

Yagi tilted his head. "Well.. that isn't that unusual, right? It's rare, but it isn't impossible. I know Endeavor-san himself has a son with two quirks."

Recovery Girl shook her head, a solemn frown on her face. "I think it's best if Nezu answers that. You should visit his office anyway. He's expecting you."

Yagi walked to Nezu's office with one last remorseful look at the limp young boy. "Principal Nezu! Chisako-san sent me to talk about the children?"

Nezu spun around on his chair, looking unusually solemn. The chimaera sighed. " Indeed. I have some bad news for you, old friend. The three children that you found? They are bio androids." Yagi went pale, covering his mouth. Dr Gero had made it obvious from the beginning that while he would have an interest in other branches of science, his main goal being to create artificial life forms, destroying anything and everything in All For One's way. Before Yagi could go down that particular rabbit hole, Nezu cleared his throat to catch the emaciated man's attention.

"While combing through the information in Gero's computer, we discovered whose DNA those children are created from."

All Might frowned. "Who?" Nezu smiled mercilessly. "Congratulations! You are the father!"

.

.

.

"W-WHAT?!" Yagi spat blood, before repeating himself in a quieter voice. "E-Excuse me?"

Nezu chuckled before elaborating. "Of the files we've gathered, about a quarter of them are more encrypted than the rest and of that quarter; all of them are on what he called projects C.L.L, F.Z.A and C.L.R. That's what he called the children. They were made from the DNA of the top three heroes- you, Endeavour and Hawks, as well as a DNA strand we have assumed belongs to All For One, due to its unique configuration." Yagi could tell that Nezu's mood had rapidly decreased just thinking about it. And it made sense. All For One's DNA mixed with the three highest ranked heroes in Japan? That made for a devastating combination.

"He called them nomus." Yagi winced reflexively at the dark tone of Nezu's voice. Nezu hadn't been fond of Gero in the first place, being reminded of his time as a lab rat before he became a pro hero and hadn't even had a name. Now, that there was confirmation that those children had been experiments? Gero was lucky he was dead, because the rage of a certain chimaera transcended trivial things such as human morals.

"Those files date back to up to five years ago. The oldest is the one he called project C.L.R. He's the one with white hair. The second oldest is project F.Z.A, the purple-haired one. The youngest of the lot is project C.L.L, the green haired one. The two oldest have five quirks, Energy Manipulation, Metal skin, Body Enhancement, Telepathy and Extreme Potential. The youngest however, has seven. As well as the quirks the others have, he has Extreme Regeneration and Zenkai, the ability to grow stronger every time they receive wounds." Nezu then stopped to let All Might absorb all of the shocking information. Until- well, now apparently, the most quirks a human body could handle was two (ignoring All For One). Now all of a sudden these children had five or seven?!

"The reason I'm telling you this is because I want you to find someone to look after them." Nezu continued, not even acknowledging All Might's loud choking. "I would do it myself but I find it amusing to see you flounder." All Might smiled bitterly. He didn't even bother sugar-coating it, didn't he?

"I-well, er-I-" Nezu smiled, pulling a cup of tea from seemingly nowhere and enjoying the scene in front of him. "Ahem. I would love to, Nezu-san." Nezu snickered.

"Of course. Ah, I forgot to mention. You have a deadline of a week. If you can't find anyone… You're my next choice." All Might practically ran out of the room. How embarrassing! He took out his phone and looked through his contacts before wincing. This would take a lot of favours.

"No."

"But I didn't even-"

"No." Aizawa was not having a good day. Not only had one of his students convinced his entire class to attempt to prank him by moving everything in the classroom one centimetre to the left, All Might of all people was trying to convince him to adopt the three children who had tried their best to kill them not even a week ago.

"Please! I was given a deadline of a week!"

Aizawa raised an eyebrow, unmoved by his passionate speech. "Have you tried literally anyone else?"

"I tried! Mirai is too busy, Nemuri is unavailabe and Hizashi is your roommate. Please, you're my last chance!" Yagi even got on his knees. Aizawa seriously was his last chance. If he refused, he had no one else to ask.

Aizawa sweatdropped. After everything he'd been through, he was scared of a deadline. The sleep deprived man sighed.

"I live with Hizashi so you'll have to ask him as well." Yagi beamed. The sun set behind him as the man declared that he wouldn't regret this. How was he doing this he wasn't even facing the sunset-

"You won't regret this Aizawa!" The number one hero repeated. "I'll get Hizashi's approval and you'll love them, I just know it!"

Aizawa raised a brow. "The first and only time we met them, all three of them tried to kill both of us." At that painfully accurate sentence, Yagi winced. "I'm sure it was only because they were confused! After all, they are only children!"

Aizawa had just gotten to sleep when Hizashi burst into his bedroom screaming as loud as he could without using his quirk. The tired man ignored him with the experience of a man who had experienced this a thousand times. He did get the gist of it though. Something something We're gonna have kids Shota! Something something -Oh and I'll get them cat themed pyjamas and I'll take so many pictures and- something something. He regretted this already and the brats weren't even there.

"Shut up, I'm trying to go to sleep." Hizashi continued rambling, completely ignoring the poor hero.

"For the love of all that is holy, please shut up." The hyper hero did in fact, not shut up.

"-and I'll get them so much stuff for their birthday and do they have birthdays? I'll just ask them and then I'll take them to school and show Nemuri and she'll be so jealous and-"

Aizawa sighed in defeat as he finally started responding to his friend's rapid-fire speech. "I don't think they'll like you trying to get them to put on cat pyjamas and the last time they were awake, they tried to kill me and Yagi. I think taking them to a school is a bad idea for the moment. We also don't know their birthdays."

"Awww, they looked so cute though! See?" Aizawa squinted, the bright light of his friend's screen momentarily blinding him. Aizawa sent his friend a disappointed stare, glancing back pointedly at the phone showing off a picture of three small children in what appeared to be Recovery Girl's sick room. It had been taken as subconsciously moved closer, cuddling each other in mis-matched clothing.

Aizawa scowled. How dare they be so adorable after trying to kill him.

"They tried to kill me." Aizawa argued. Hizashi countered with a They were probably confused. To that, Aizawa informed him that when he came in, they had already killed someone. His extroverted counterpart had no response to that but tried anyway.

"Maybe, they… Yeah, I have nothing. Still, c'mon please?"

"We don't know how to take care of children." Aizawa argued weakly. At this point, he was only still arguing for the sake of being stubborn and Hizashi knew it.

With one last flat stare from Hizashi, Aizawa relented. "Fine." Aizawa pushed his cheering friend away from him as he turned away and resolutely ignored him.
