Thank you for reviewing my story. I appreciate it.

I don't own Bones.

Ooooooooooooooo

Holding the door open, Brennan watched as Booth and Lester brought the Christmas tree into the house. Guiding Lester, Brennan pointed to the left of the room. "We're going to set the tree up in front of the picture window."

A little out of breath, Booth carried the back half of the tree past Brennan and smiled at her. "I got a good deal on the tree."

Snorting, Lester stopped in front of the window. "Only because no one wanted it. It's got a gap at the bottom."

Offended, Booth snarled at the younger man. "It's not a Charlie Brown tree if that's what you're saying. The gap is at the very bottom and the wall under the window will hide it. People are too damn particular as far as I'm concerned and I saved twenty bucks . . . twenty bucks."

After Booth placed his end down, they both maneuvered the tree so it was standing in the tree stand. Crawling under the prickly branches, Lester turned the screws and made sure the base of the tree was firmly in the stand. Once he was satisfied, he backed out of the tree and stood up. "Okay, it's ready. Now we can take my tree home."

His eyes roaming over the tree, Booth nodded his head in satisfaction. "It looks good. Once I have it decorated it'll look even better."

In a hurry, Lester walked over to the door and waved his hand. "Come on, let's go. I need to get my tree up this afternoon while Claire's at her mother's house. I want to surprise her and the baby when they get home."

Kissing Brennan as he passed her, Booth pointed at the tree. "I'll decorate it when I get back. Don't worry about it."

As the men crossed the yard and got into Booth's truck, Brennan smiled and finally closed the door. Staring at the tree, she inspected it and actually found it to be quite symetrical. "It's a nice tree."

Oooooooooooooooooooo

The tree decorated, Booth stood back and admired the way it looked. "Alright. It's done . . . I told you I'd get it done before the party. I may decorate the yard too."

Shaking her head, Brennan decided to remind him. "You promised Parker that he could help you decorate the yard and the outside of the house. You probably should wait until he comes next Sunday. It doesn't matter if the yard isn't decorated for the party."

Booth conceded her point as he picked up the two empty boxes. "Okay, you're right. I'll put these boxes up and then we can cook dinner. I think we have everything ready for the party next Saturday . . . right?"

Her hands reaching for the remaining empty box, Brennan followed Booth to the basement. "Yes, the caterers will arrive Saturday at around three and set everything up. The party will start around six and Angela says she'll probably come by earlier to help me make sure everything is ready."

Careful going down the stairs, Booth was pleased that their plans were moving right along. "Sounds good."

Ooooooooooooooooo

Dressed in black jeans, a deep red long sleeved shirt and a black tie with snowmen printed on it, Booth answered the front door. "Bones is upstairs with Angela. They'll be down in a minute."

After he entered the living room, Harris took off his coat and looked around. "What are you doing with coats?"

Pointing at the room next to the staircase, Booth greeted Susan. "Hey Susan, I'm glad you could come."

Quickly removing her coat, she handed it to Harris and then kissed Booth on the cheek. "You knew we'd come, Booth." Noticing the tree, Susan grinned at the display. "Love the theme, Booth. Flyers all the way, right?"

His arm raised, Booth pumped it up and down. "You bet, the Flyers are going to the playoffs this year you can count on it."

Reentering the room, Harris walked over to the tree and inspected the decorations. "Very Christmasy."

"Ignore him Booth." Her hand on Booth's arm, Susan smiled at her friend. "I like your tree. It's pretty."

A knock on the front door caused Booth to hurry back to the door and open it. "Hey come in, Harris and Susan just got here and Angela and Hodgins got here a while ago."

Entering the house, Claire pulled her coat off and handed it to Lester who followed her inside. "Where's Temperance?"

Happy to seen his friends had made it to the party, Booth pointed at the ceiling. "Upstairs with Angela. I have no idea what's taking them so long, but they should be down soon."

Angela, standing at the top of the stairs, called down to Booth. "Booth . . . can you come up here please."

The edge in her voice making him nervous, Booth strode over to the staircase and looked up. "What's up?"

Wringing her hands, Angela glanced down the hallway and then back at Booth. "Brennan doesn't feel well, could you come up here please?"

Fear sweeping through him, Booth climbed the stairs quickly and passed Angela on the way to his bedroom. "What do you mean she doesn't feel well?"

Calling after him, Angela answered, "She was showing me the present she was going to give you for Christmas when she started to shake. She ran to the bathroom because she felt a little nauseous, but I think she's mostly light headed. I don't know whats wrong, so I thought you better come up."

Worried, Booth stopped at the bedroom door and looked back at Angela. "Could you go downstairs and make sure the caterers are doing what they're supposed to be doing? We'll be down as soon as we can. Tell everyone that the party is still on. Bones will be upset if everyone leaves."

Grimly, Angela agreed. "She would be too, I'll make sure everything is okay."

Opening the bedroom door, Booth glanced back once more before entering the room. "Thanks Angela." After he was in the bedroom, he hurried to the bathroom and leaned through the open doorway. Spying Brennan sitting on the edge of the tub, he walked into the room and closed the door behind him. Standing in front of the door he cautiously asked her, "Angela says you're sick. Do you need anything? Do you . . . uh. . . do you want to cancel the party? We can do that if you don't feel well."

Appalled at his suggestion, Brennan shook her head. "No Booth, I'm not that sick. I just feel a little light headed. I skipped lunch this afternoon and I shouldn't have. I'm feeling better now."

Walking over to the toilet, Booth put down the lid and sat down. "Would you like me to go get you something to eat or some tea? I can make you a cup of hot tea. That should settle your stomach. You know you shouldn't skip meals."

A weak smile touching her lips, Brennan shook her head. "No, I can go downstairs and get something to eat. I was just waiting for my stomach to settle down before I left the room."

Patiently waiting with her, Booth crossed his ankles. "We'll stay here until you're sure."

Brennan leaned over and placed her hand on his knee. "I hope you didn't peek at your present when you were in the bedroom."

Snapping his fingers, Booth shook his head. "Damn, I forgot to look. I don't know where my mind was. I should have looked since you won't tell me what you got me."

A feeling of warmth spreading through her, Brennan stood up and placed her hands on his shoulders. Kissing him, her eyes sparkled with unshed tears. "I can't imagine what you were thinking about, Booth."

Oooooooooooooooo

After she felt a little less shaky, Booth walked downstairs with her. He went to check on their guests and Brennan found Angela in the kitchen making tea. "I was going to do that, Angela."

Handing her the cup of tea, Angela smiled at her friend. "I was going to bring it upstairs. You're looking better. Everyone is here and I had the caterers start to do their thing."

Relieved, Brennan sipped some of the tea relishing the taste of the beverage. "I was foolish and skipped breakfast and lunch today. I told Booth I just skipped lunch, so don't mention that I haven't eaten at all today. It will just upset him."

Grabbing a glass of wine from a serving tray, Angela leaned against the counter. "Brennan you need to take better care of yourself. Skipping meals is not the best thing in the world to do."

"I agree." Sipping more of the tea, Brennan frowned. "I was just so busy I didn't think about it. Booth usually makes me breakfast, but he had to go in early this morning because one of the guards found evidence of someone trying to break into one of the restoration rooms."

Angela sipped her wine and noticed that Brennan was less pale than before. "I won't tell Booth, but don't do it again, Honey. You scared us. If you plan on getting pregnant then you have to make sure you eat balanced meals. You really can't skip meals."

Properly chastised, Brennan nodded her head. "Yes, you're right. . . . I think we better join the party before Booth sends out a search party looking for us."

Chuckling, Angela placed her empty glass on the counter and grabbed another glass of wine. "He would too . . . by the way, this wine is so good."

"Thank you." Placing her empty cup on the counter, Brennan grabbed two finger sandwiches and followed Angela into the living room to join the party.

Spying his wife eating, Booth broke away from Hodgins and met her near the kitchen doorway. "Hey, you feeling better?"

After she swallowed a bite of her sandwich, Brennan smiled to assure him. "Yes. I am. I promise not to skip meals anymore Booth."

Booth wiped a crumb from her cheek and kissed her. "Good . . . Now eat up. Lester says the stuffed mushrooms are pretty good. I'll go get you some."

Reaching out, Brennan grabbed his arm and stopped him. "Booth, I'm fine."

She did look better much to his relief. "I know."
