One of the Ghouls

Christmas with Winnie, and Papa Werewolf (Chapter 23).

(Winnie's P.O.V.)

"Coach, its my turn next!" I exclaimed. I couldn't wait to get home. Tonight was supposed to be a full moon so that means it will be a howl spending it with my Papa.

Shaggy laughed, before responding. "I know, Winnie. Elsa is after you, and then Dani is going to Amity Park."

"Rhaggy, where are we meeting the gang at?" Scooby-doo asked.

"Somewhere a few towns over from Amity Park," Shaggy answered.

I listened to their conversation, and tapped my paw on against the side of the car seat. Elsa shrugged looking at me, and Dani was jamming to loud music through her headphones. I could feel Coach hit the gas pedal. Snow was beginning to fall, and I was kind of nervous about Coach Rogers driving in this blizzard.

As if he sensed my nervousness Coach chuckled, and said, "Don't worry I will get you all to your families for Christmas."

He didn't lie to me either. He made it to my house when the snow was getting really bad. I flipped open the door, and was about to climb out when Dani, and Elsa looked at me with worried expressions.

"Are you sure you can make it to the house, Winnie?" Dani asked, concern lining her tone.

"Yeah, it is a blizzard out there," Elsa stated the obvious.

I nodded, and shrugged it off. "Guys, it is cold, and snowing. My house is over there, and I have a fur coat along with the coat my Papa got me so I will be fine." I ran off into the snowstorm, not looking back at the van. I focused on my house, and didn't stop until I was safely through the window. I howled for my friends, and my Papa.

"Winnie, is that you?" My Papa's gruff voice asked.

"Yes, Papa!" I answered.

"How did you get here? It is a blizzard out there," My Papa asked in concern.

"Coach Rogers, brought me. He is dropping off the girls this year," I stated plainly.

"Is he still here? They shouldn't be driving in this," My Papa sounded worried. He strode over to the window, and looked out it nervously.

"What do you mean? Are they going to be alright?" I asked.

"I hope so. Who was left in the van?"

"Dani, Coach, Scooby, Scrappy, and Elsa," I answered.

Papa nodded. "They may not make it home for Christmas."

That put a damper on my night, but the moon rose, and I began to worry less knowing that Coach would take care of Dani, and Elsa.

My house didn't have a tree, or very many presents, but we made our famous gingerbread house. Also, its gingerbread werewolf inhabitants. After we finished our gingerbread house, and then went outside to play in the snow. Snowball fights, broke out. I covered my Papa in snow. He got me back, and buried me in the snow. I was so far down that he had to unbury me.

After we finished outside the sun was rising. "Merry Christmas, Winnie."

"Merry Christmas, Papa." I smiled, and followed him into the house for breakfast.
