There was a laughing. "You really think I would let you escape?" Death laughed appearing behind them.
The bodies of Natsu, Erza, Lucy, and Gray were lying at his feet. "I love playing these games, why would I stop?" he stared at the remaining group.
Luna and Ru clenched their fists and Talia just stared at the door. Out of the corner of Luna's eye she saw Natsu's body twitch. She grinned, she knew that idiot wouldn't give up that easily. Now until they woke up, her and Ru had to keep Death distracted.
"So I guess, using the souls of the deceased people we cared about, you would tried to make us weaker." Luna guessed. Death sneered, "That trick works every time."
Ru frowned and looked over to Jailen who was still looking at the door despite not seeing it. Her eyes were blood shot already and her hair was a mess. Ru felt bad for the young girl.
"So what are you going to do to us now?" Jailen asked him, "I thought Hades was a considerable guy." She said this while not facing him.
Death looked her over, "No one has actually survived past tag so I'll let you all play with my dog." He decided. "Your deaths will be quick and painless, I assure you."
Jailen and Talia tensed. "You do know it's hard to kill us." Luna laughed. Death laughed, "it's harder than you think."
Natsu and the others were starting to move but they were sluggish. Luna and Ru needed to buy a few more minutes. "Sure, let's meet your pet." Ru said.
As soon as she said the words, there was a barking, growling, and thudding from afar. The ground trembled as Luna spotted a dog heading their way. It had three heads and looked like a Rottweiler, if she had ever seen one. It was huge and in its eyes was bloodlust. "Bring it dog." Luna sneered.
A light second later, Luna was already punching it in the stomach, side, legs, and face. But it all seemed a waste of energy. All it seemed to do was infuriate it.
"Water dragon secret art, blind fish water lily strike!" Jailen yelled joining in.
"water dragon secret art?" Ru grunted as Cerberus tried to take a bite out of her. Jailen shrugged, "I made it up." She laughed. Ru smiled as the trio continued to beat at the three headed dog.
Death watched nearby, amused by the three. He was going to love having them as a part of his collection. He glanced as Talia fumbled around with something around her neck. One moment he was looking at the girl, next he was looking at the white ceiling of his prison. "No one can take my soul." Natsu grumbled, standing up.
He was clearly pissed, since his whole body was aflame. The rest of his team was coming to their feet as well. "you've played enough." Erza huffed. A sword in hand.
She wasn't weighed down at all. in fact as soon as Death saw the four drop to the ground, he gave them back what was stolen. "Open gate of the scorpion, Scorpio!" Lucy yelled. Death didn't even flinch before he was swept away by sand.
Cerberus started to run after his master, before he was punched in all three noses. "Where are you going?" Luna grumbled, "Your fight is right here!"
Cerberus stopped and turned back to the three. He growled loud and clear. "Don't worry, we'll, I mean I'll send you back to hell." Luna smiled and fixed her hair.
"What about me?" Ru interjected from behind her.
"Hey quit your fighting." Natsu grumbled, "Like your one to talk." Jailen huffed.
Natsu grinned his toothy grin "I'm going to make you pay twenty times over all the pain and suffering you've caused." He growled.
"Natsu." Lucy and Jailen murmured. "How many times? How many people? How many lives are you going to play with?" Natsu growled, "Their lives damnit!"
He punched Death over and over with each word. At the same time Luna was close to snapping at how durable and stubborn Cerberus was. "I never wanted to use this. That asshole of a brother." Luna whispered under her breath.
She clapped her hands together, "Let me cast judgment on you, let you suffer more than just sending you straight back to hell." She gave a rare toothy grin, "I'll make it as painful as possible."
"White dragon's holy judgment!" Luna yelled, punching Cerberus in several places. The guardian of hell howled in pain, hurting the dragon slayers ears.
"Time to turn things around." Ru smiled.
Meanwhile against Death, Natsu and the rest were giving Death all of their feelings. With each hit, delivered more feeling. The feelings of anger, humiliation, and sadness all piled up in layers of punches, slices and other attacks.
Death was getting infuriated. When he heard the howl of this beloved dog, he was officially pissed. "That's enough!" he yelled causing Natsu to stop.
Natsu cracked his knuckles. "Your right. It's time to get serious." His entire body was brightly light up. "Fire dragon sword horn!" he yelled nailing Death in the stomach. But Death flung him back.
Natsu caught his ground. "Fire dragon roar!" Gray joined in, "Ice make lance!"
Death was weakened, "How by mere mortals?" he said appalled. There was one last yelp from Cerberus before he vanished.
Luna cracked her stiff arms, "Well that didn't last long." She observed, then turned to Death. "Shall I give you judgment too?" she asked with the devil's grin.
Death sneered at her, "you may have defeated me, but there's no way you can escape." He laughed as Luna pinned him down, "I'll be back to make you suffer again."
"Fire dragon iron fist!" Natsu yelled at the same time Luna yelled, "Holy dragon iron fist!"
Death disintegrated into black dust with a laugh. Luna dusted off her hands and pants and looked at the door. "Now how do we get out of here?"
Then she noticed Talia clutching at something around her neck. "What is that?" Luna said snatching it from her.
Talia cried out and tried to take it back. "Huh, a key?" Luna asked confused.
Talia looked at the others then to her shoes. "It might be the key to let us out of here."
