Pete's POV
It had been a week since I found out Gabby was expecting. She told me the girls knew but we had yet to tell anyone at the firehouse and even to my mother, deciding to wait after our first OBGYN appointment before spilling the beans. I woke up one morning before shift, my alarm still a few minutes later, to the sound of someone puking from the bathroom. I got up and went to find Gabby leaning over the toilet, emptying her stomach.
"Are you ok?" I rubbed her back since her hair was already tucked into a ponytail.
"Yeah. I don't think the baby likes yesterday's chinese food." She breathed in and out a few times before going at it again.
"Are you sure it's the chinese and not morning sickness?"
"Think so. I haven't had any since I found out so I think it's just last night's food."
"When's your appointment? We can ask the doc then."
"Not until next week but I'm pretty sure we'll have our answer in a few days. If I don't puke we'll know." She grabbed the towel next to the toilet and wiped her mouth before getting up slowly.
"Are you sure you're ready for shift?"
"I'll be fine Pete." She refused a kiss and brushed her teeth.
"Sorry, I'm just getting used to this. I'm just worried." I pulled her to me.
"It's ok. I was so scared when I realized what was going on."
"We'll get through this together. You do know we'll have to start looking for a bigger place, maybe a small house?"
"A small house would be nice."
"Alright, we'll start looking after we tell everyone." I pulled away from her and we got ready before leaving towards 51 and shift.
We walked into 51, arms around each other and we were greeted by the girls, stealing Gabby away. I went to change and then went directly to the stove to cook breakfast for everyone, also doing something light on the stomach for Gabby. The girls came back just as food was ready.
"I'll bring this to Gabby." Abbey took the bowl I had kept aside for her.
"Thanks. Can we talk later?"
"Sure, I'll go wait for you in 44."
"Thanks." Everyone got up to get their food before we got a call. The girls were at their usual spot at the round table, all four of them chatting away.
"Something on your mind Mills?" Casey questionned, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Huh? No, everything's good, just tired lieutenant." All I could think about was Gabby and our unborn child.
"I'm pretty sure I know what's got you so tired." He chuckled, going back to his paper. When I was done eating, I made my way back to the apparatus flood and towards 44. I knew Abbey would be in the back of the ambo. I opened the door to find her sitting on the bench with her back against the dressing cases.
"What's up Pete?" I closed the door behind me and sitting next to her.
"Did you tell Matt about Gabby?" I just needed to make sure because his reference earlier made me think she did.
"No. You asked me to keep it on the DL and I did. You guys should be the ones who tell everybody. Have you told your mom?"
"No, not yet. We're waiting for our first appointment before telling anyone else."
"I'm happy for you Peter." She looped her arm through mine and leaned her head against my shoulder
"Thanks. I'm a bit scared though."
"You'll be a great dad, just enjoy every step of it. Your kid will be lucky to have parents like you and Gabby." She patted my arm as the overhead pager called us to a house fire. We both hopped out of the rig and she took her spot at the wheel just as Brett took the passenger side.
We got back to the house about two hours later, the girls still not back from Chicago Med. I went to lie down, I was exhausted from the call and the lack of sleep at home from Gabby having trouble sleeping for some unknown reason. I couldn't wait for our first appointment, Gabby said that maybe we'd be able to hear the heartbeat and it made me excited. Shift was long and uneventful and we both managed to get some sleep during the night before going home at eight. Gabby hadn't been sick when she woke up which was good news. We went to get some breakfast before heading back home to relax.
Abbey's POV
After the first call of the day, I decided I'd keep an eye on Gabby, knowing Shay would too because I knew that Peter wouldn't have time to. The call took a long time for what it was and we had to bring two victims to Chicago Med. Even the ER at Med was backed up, taking us forever before getting back to 51. When i walked back in, I was tired and didn't see Matt in the common room so I made my way to his office knowing he was probably writing up his incident report.
"Hey." I leaned against his office door.
"Hey, you've been long a while, everything ok?" He turned on his chair to face me.
"Med's ER was backed up. It took forever for them to take the patients. I'm already mentally exhausted, I hate waiting up there."
"Come in and close the door please."
"Something wrong?" I asked confusion evident in my voice.
"What's up with Mills and Gabby? Everything ok?" I was taken aback a little bit by the question, not wanting to betray any confidences, even if it was Matt.
"Yeah, everything's fine." I hoped my voice didn't detray anything.
"Are you sure? He seemed tired today and so was she. You'd tell me if there was something right?" I closed my eyes and thought a few seconds about what to tell him. I didn't want to tell Pete's secret because it wasn't mine to tell but I also didn't want him to think that I was hiding something from him.
"Matt." I still pondered a few more seconds what to tell him. "You know that I've always been honest with you about everything since we started dating but there's some things I just can't tell you and this is one of those times."
"Abbey, what's going on?" He pressed, worry was creeping on his features.
"Nothing Matt. It's just that Pete asked me not to tell anyone and I don't want to debtray that confidence either but it's nothing to worry about I promise."
"Ok." This was something that I liked from Matt. He took what I told him at face value but he was very observant and Pete and Gabby's subtle behaviour hadn't been an exception. "Are you sure you're ok, you look tired."
"I'm telling you waiting at Chicago Med killed me. I'm just hoping that it stays quiet for a while." I let myself fall on the back in Matt's bed but clearly my demand wasn't answered because they overhead pager went off.
Ambulance 44, woman in distress.
"AARRGGHHH." I yelled getting up, Matt trying to stiffle a laugh. "Clearly Chicago doesn't want me to get some rest. I'll see you later."
"Stay safe out there." I nodded and left quickly to join Brett on the apparatus floor.
"Are you ok?" Brett asked too as we left the firehouse.
"Tired is all, promise I'm ok."
"If you say so." We drove to a fancy neighbourhood and when we got in the house, the woman in distress was pregnant and about to pop. "Alright we have to do this here." Sylvie looked at me and we went to work. The woman delivered a healthy baby girl and we took her over to Lakeshore to have the two checked out before going back to the house.
I managed to get about an hour of sleep between a crazy day of calls. I had no idea how I was supposed to help my mom out at the diner in the morning. Pretty much everyone had noticed the state I was in but no one really said anything until we came back from a call at one am.
"You have to get some sleep Abbey." Herrmann patted me on the back as we walked back into the common room.
"I KNOW." It was getting to the point of annoyance because I had seen all the stares for the past few calls.
"We're just looking out for you kid."
"I know I'm sorry Christopher." I plopped down on the couch and rested my head against its arm.
"Go catch a few hours of sleep before the shift ends." Chief's voice woke me up a little bit. I wasn't looking for anyone's pity about being this tired this one time.
"I'm alright chief." I tried my best to sound convincing.
"This isn't up for discussion Mitchell. Mills will back Sylvie up on ambo and I will fill in for Mills on Squad."
"I can't let you do that chief." I protested.
"Like I said, not up for discussion." He simply walked past us and went to his office.
"Just go sleep in my office, no one will bother you there." Matt whispered in my ear, standing behind me. I got up without protesting and made my way to the small space, my body shutting down as I laid down.
Matt's POV
As the day went by, calls didn't seem to stop and it was starting to take a toll on everyone, specially Abbey. I knew she did everything to stay focused and not put the lives of everyone else in jeapardy but as the calls came through, it was getting worst to a point that at one am, she blew up at Herrmann about getting some sleep. I knew she hated it when that happened and now she hated it even more because Boden had given her a direct order. She leaned her head against the back of the couch and huffed quietly.
"Just go sleep in my office, no one will bother you there." I leaned down and whispered in her ear. She simply got up and went in the direction of the bunk area, no doubt taking my advice.
I grabbed a coffee before sitting at the table, deciding to wait a little bit before heading to my office to write my incident report.
"Everything alright with Abbey?" Otis asked from the fridge, saying what everyone was thinking.
"Yeah, she's just tired. She's been working at the diner a lot lately and she's due to go in after shift too."
"She hasn't told me that." Mills was clearly surprised because it was the first time he was hearing about it.
"Something about needing the extra cash." I shrugged. I looked as Mills picked his phone out of his pocket and send a text and putting it back where it was.
"Get her out for a coffee after shift, I got the diner covered."
"You know she won't go for that."
"Find an excuse, I'll take care of the rest."
"Ok." I got up with my coffee and headed for my office. Just as I suspected, she was asleep already, her body sprawled over the covers. I had noticed that she slept like this shortly after we started dating and thought it was cute so I closed the blinds and turned on my office lamp before going to work on that report. Luckily enough, the rest of the night was quiet and I managed to get a few hours of sleep on Abbey's bunk before first watch's arrival woke sevral of us up.
"How about we go out for a coffee before your shift at the diner?" I leaned against my office door as she swung her legs over the side of her bed.
"I think I have time for that." She eyed the clock on my bedside table.
"Good. Feeling better?"
"Much, thanks but at least tell me the rest of the night was quiet so I don't feel too guilty about it."
"Very quiet, I slept on your bunk."
"You should have woken me up Matt, this is your office."
"You looked so peaceful." I chuckled, making her roll her eyes.
"Please don't tell me I was sprawled."
"You were sprawled but you're safe, no one else saw you but me."
"Thank god for that. Let's get out of here." She got up and grabbed her coat before we walked out to her truck. She drove to a little restaurant around the corner from 51 and we got out and were given a booth. "I don't have a lot of time though." My phone dinged and I looked at Mills's message saying he was good to go at the diner.
"We have plenty of time."
"Matt, what was that message about?" She asked suspiciously.
"It was Mills, he just gave you your shift off."
"WHAT?" she exclaimed, clearly not happy. "You guys have no right to do this to me. I need the money Matt.
"Oh come on Abbey, you're exhausted and Mills knew nothing about you needing money AND pulling double shifts for the past month. Is there something you're not telling me?" I was starting to be upset too. At first I didn't think too much of it but now that she was getting upset about Peter helping her out, something had to be up.
"It's nothing." She insisted.
"Clearly it's something or else you wouldn't be so upset about it."
"It was supposed to be a surprise." She huffed and placed her head in her hands, not looking at me.
"Surprise for what? What's going on Abbey?"
"Fine. I saw this great cabin by the lake and I thought we could go up there, just the two of us for your birthday." She finally looked at me, tears of fatigue clouding up her vision.
"Baby, we don't need to go anywhere for my birthday. You didn't have to tire yourself out to do that."
"I did. I wanted it to be special, just you and me, away from the chaos of the city." She got up and was about to leave when I grabbed her by the wrist and sat her down on my lap.
"Baby, I love you for this but I don't want you to be exhausted because of it. When are we leaving?" I smiled at her as I pushed her hair back behind her shoulder. I didn't really care that we were in a restaurant because it was still early enough so it wasn't too crowded.
"In two weeks. Three whole days, just you and me."
"Three days?"
"Yeah, Friday plus the week-end. Boden already cleared it."
"Thanks." I pulled her down to me and kissed her tenderly. "Let's get out of here." I paid for the coffees and went back to our place to get some more sleep, our bodies glued to each other.
One week later, Gabby's POV
We were sitting in the waiting room of Chicago Med, our appointment in fifteen more minutes.
"Could this go any faster?" I grumbled.
"Hey, no one will see us here."
"I don't want to spoil the surprise." My hands were shaking from nervousness and the fear of getting caught here by anyone from 51 who didn't know our little secret.
"Mrs Mills." A nurse came out and called my name, Peter patting me on the knee as I got up.
"See, no one will know." He smiled at me and we followed the nurse inside the doctor's office where we took a seat in front of a big oak desk to wait a little bit longer. The name on the plate was familiar since I was here so often for calls. I turned around when the doctor came in, returning a smile that was offered to me by Kendra. Finding a doctor was hard and Kendra hadn't objected when Shay had casually asked her on a run.
"Gabby, it's good to see you. Peter, how are you doing?"
"We're good thanks." He smiled at her too. Kendra went into normal opening questions about my last period date and if I was feeling any morning sickness and soreness anywhere before I was instructed into an examination area.
"Alright so you're about ten weeks along and things seem to be going great for you."
"Except a few indigestions, everything had been really good." I smiled, Peter mirroring my own.
"How's daddy feeling?" She turned to look at him.
"Nervous, excited."
"Good, than enjoy it all. So Gabby, you know that I might not be able to hear a heartbeat today because we're still in the early staged but that doesn't mean everything is not fine." I nodded and squeezed Peter's hand. I knew all of this but I was hoping that we were lucky enough to be able to hear it. She took the ultrasound machine out first and showed is where the pregnancy was and what to look for but more importantly, she moved the wand around my stomach and suddenly, we saw something very small, moving very quickly. Once that was done, she moved the machine aside and took out a portable device with a microphone.
"What does that do?" Peter asked. From the look on his face, it was the first time he had seen this kind of instrument.
"It is a microphone with a speaker. We're going to try to see if we can hear the heartbeat." She pressed harder at certain places where I figured she was more likely to hear it but it took a few minutes before we could hear it. It was stumping at a rapid, steady beat, filling the small room with the sound. Both Peter and I had a smile on our face. Now that we could hear it, it all became more real. "The baby has a strong and fast heartbeat, just as it should be.
"I can't believe this is our baby Gabs."
"We're going to be parents." I smiled at him.
"We're going to be parents." He echoed, giving me a gentle kiss.
"How about we go tell the great news to the rest of our family?"
"We'll do that next shift. I was thinking we go tell my mom the great news."
"Congratulations to the two of you. Gabby, I want you to take another appointment next month with my secretary and you feel anything out of the ordinary, don't hesitate to come see me on shift or give me a call when you're not."
"Thanks Kendra." I got up and hugged her before Peter did the same and we left to take another appointment and head to his mother's to tell her the great news. We sat in his truck in front of Ingrid and Michelle's house, both cars were there and I suddenly became nervous, my fingers playing with an invisible string on my top.
"You don't have to be nervous Gabby, my mom will be happy."
"I'm not nervous." I lied.
"You're doing that thing with your fingers. It's going to be fine." He leaned over on my side and kissed me before getting out and getting my door.
"Thanks babe." We walked together to the front door before he knocked and let us in, like we always did. I don't really know why I was so nervous about telling his mother that I was pregnant because she had always been very supportive of us.
"Hey kids, how are you guys doing?" Michelle was the first to greet us with a hug.
"We're great." I smiled at her. Abbey's mom was very nice too and she was always so full of advice when something wa on our mind. Ingrid came walking from the kitchen, drying her hands off with a rag.
"This is a nice surprise. You kids staying over for lunch?" She hugged Peter before hugging me, keeping me close a little bit longer.
"Sure mom." We walked inside, Pete's mom's arm still around me.
"What brings you by?" We sat down, Pete's arm around my waist.
"Actually, we came with some news." Peter started but his mother never gave him the opportunity to finish before she wrapped him in a hug, than me.
"I knew it." She held me at arms length. "I'm going to be a grand mother." She smiled at me.
"Yes." I smiled back. "We found out a few weeks ago but we were waiting for our first appointment before telling anyone."
"We wanted to tell you first." I could sense Pete close to me, a giant smile on his face.
"Congratulations." Michelle hugged us too.
"Your father would be so proud of you."
"Thanks mom."
"So when are you going to tell 51?" Ingrid went back into the kitchen as she asked that question.
"Actually Shay and Abbey already know because they were with me when I took the test but we were thinking next shift."
"They'll be so pleased."
We spent part of the afternoon at Ingrid and Michelle's house, both happilly chatting us up about pregnancy and that if we needed anything that they'd be happy to help as much as they could. We lay on the couch later in the afternoon, enjoying some quiet time together.
"I've been thinking about looking for a house and there's some nice little houses close to here that look like they could be perfect for us. I was thinking we could get a realtor and start looking for something."
"That sounds perfect. Maybe we can find something before the baby is born." I mumbled into his chest.
"I can't believe I'm going to be a dad. Thank you." He kissed me on the hair as I lay there comfortably.
"No need to be thanking anyone." I giggled. "The practice was fun. Even if it wasn't planned."
"I couldn't be more happy, even if we had planned it. We are going to have a little family and it's going to be perfect."
"I love you."
"I love you too." Peter eventually got up when it became darker outside to get dinner ready and we enjoyed a quiet evening together.
24h later, Peter's POV
Once I was parked in front of the firehouse for our next shift, I turned the ignition off and turned to face Gabby.
"Are you ready to tell everyone?"
"Yes. I can't wait for our family to find out that we're going to be parents."
"Alright, let's go inside." As we walked up the drive, we met up with Matt and Abbey, who simply smiled at me. I knew from the look in her eye that she knew we were going to tell everyone today. Everyone got ready and we met up in the conference room so Boden could do his pre-shift meeting and then Gabby and I decided to make breakfast together for everyone. We walked around the counter and set everything up first before calling everyone's attention.
"Gabby and I have some news to share with you guys before we start having breakfast." every set of eyes was on us.
"What's up Mills?" Cruz wondered out loud.
"We are going to have a baby." Gabby said smiling.
"FINALLY." Everyone looked in Shay's direction before laughing. "What? It was so hard to keep this secret." Everyone in the house knew that Shay was terrible at keeping secrets and it was a wonder she had kept this one for so long. Everyone started clapping and they all came in turn to hug us and congratulate us.
"So how long are we keeping you Gabriella?" Boden asked, needing to know this information.
"Unfortunately, this is my last shift at 51." Everyone was shocked at that statement. "Well my last shift at 51 until I give birth. I can't be on duty while pregnant because of the risk it poses but the CFD is already informed and they are moving me over to HQ until then."
Ambulance 61, Ambulance 44, single car accident, two victims. The overhead system was calling all four girls to a scene.
"Be careful out there."
"Always." We kissed and Shay came to take her away, promissing to take care of her. everyone grabbed some breakfast and we all ate, chatting happily about Gabby and I's news. I spent some of my down time to look up some realtors and some houses in our area.
"Looking for a house?" Matt sat down next to me and looked at what I was doing.
"Yeah. We won't have much space in Gabby's appartment soon and we don't need anything huge, three rooms maybe and a yard." We hadn't really stopped to think what we wanted since talking about getting a house.
"If you need anything, just tell me. It'll be my gift for the baby." Matt clapped me on the shoulder.
"Thanks Lieutenant." I smiled at him. He nodded and got back up, heading towards his office. The girls came back quickly and the rest of shift was pretty easy, the girls with their heads together, clearly talking baby stuff.
Abbey's POV
We came back from our call rather quickly and sat at the round table, finally able to do some baby talk now that the news was officially out. I watched as Matt sat next to Pete, visibly happy for him and Gabby. I looked at him get up and head for his office so I decided to follow him.
"Hey." I leaned against his door, arms crossed.
"Hey." He turned to me and leaned into his chair. "So that's what you were keeping from me?"
"Yeah. Pete asked me not to tell anyone and Gabby was so freaked out when she found out. I didn't want to give away their secret."
"I get it. They seem happy."
"They are, once Gabby got over her initial shock." I smiled at him but he pulled me inside and sat me on his lap. "Matt, not at work." I looked around, making sure no one could see.
"No one minds." He pulled me close and kissed me.
"What was that for?" I wrapped my arms around his neck.
"Because I love you and I hope that someday we can have all of that."
"That would be nice."
"I think about it sometimes"
"What? Getting married?" I wasn't quite sure what he was talking about.
"Kids. I think about the dreams you were having a while back and I'd like to have kids."
"You want kids with me?" We hadn't talked about any of it before and I wasn't quite sure here was the place to get into it.
"Yeah you goof. Who else did you think I was talking about?"
"I don't know. We never talked about the future that much, what comes next."
"Then here it is. Someday, I want to marry you in front of all our friends and I want us to have a family together."
"I want nothing more than to have this forever." I leaned down and I kissed him. At that point, I really didn't care if anyone caught us making out in the lieutenant's quarters. I was just happy that the man I love wanted the same things that I did.
Two months later - Pete's POV
I waited for Gabby to get into bed before I made my phonecall to Matt. He was more than happy to help me out with my little surprise. Gabby and I had looked at a lot of houses and knew what we wanted and what we didn't want but nothing seemed to be going our way until I found one down the street. It was a new listing and it looked interesting but I wanted a professional opinion on it and since he had offered to help me, I decided to ask him come see the house with me in the morning. I snuggled close to Gabby and we quickly fell asleep.
I woke up the next morning to Gabby in the shower, getting ready for her shift at HQ. Since HQ was more of an office job, she got up at the same hour every day and was home at the same hour too, having the week-ends off. I went to join her and we showered together before I got ready for my day as well.
"What are you going to do today?" She questionned from the stove just as I crept behind her and put my hands on her growing baby bump.
"I was thinking about looking if there's a new listing of houses, maybe narrow it down."
"It's almost getting pointless. We've been looking for weeks and haven't found anything."
"We have time baby, something might turn up when we least expected it."
"Maybe. I'll keep hoping then." I kissed her cheek and went to set the table so we could eat together before she left.
Once I saw her car turn the corner, I called Matt up and asked him to meet me at an address not too far from here in twenty minutes.
"Hey."
"Thanks for meeting me here Matt."
"Not a problem. So this is the house you've been telling me about. It looks good from the outside." We moved around the empty property, Matt looking at different things that I didn't really understand, while waiting for the realtor to arrive. We met her in front of the house and she opened the door to make us visit the inside. She gave me the whole detailing and Matt looked around, clearly taking notes in his mind. It was a small detached house with three bedrooms on the main floor and a small yard, perfect for kids.
"I think this house fits more what you and your wife are looking for."
"It is. What do you think Matt?" I wanted his honest opinion on it.
"It looks great. There's a few things to fix and obviously put it to what you and Gabby like but I think it has potential."
"I think it's what we were looking for from the start. When I saw it I knew Gabby would love it too.
"Is your wife going to join us?"
"She's at work but I think it's exactly what we need. I'd like to make the owner an offer."
"Great. I'll get that done and I'll get back to you." She already knew what we were ready to offer for a house so she shook both our hands and left. I was just hoping she would come back to us with some good news.
"Gabby's going to love it."
"Gabby is going to kill me. She hates surprises." I laughed, making him laugh as well, knowing that I was right.
Five months later - Gabby's POV
If there was one thing I hated above everything else were surprises and Peter knew that but here I was, almost six months pregnant with a blindfold over my eyes, being walked to somewhere I had no idea about, guided my Pete's arms around my waist.
"Now I know you hate surprises and you'll probably kill me for it when you find out but I hope it's worth it." He whispered in my ear as he made circles over my swollen belly.
"You better hope I like it." I teased him.
"Ready?"
"Ready." He slowly removed the blindfold and opened my eyes, a beautiful house staring at me.
"Pete, what is this?" I turned around and looked at him.
"Welcome to your new house."
"Oh my God Pete, what did you do?"
"I found this place a few months back and I thought it'd be perfect for our new family. Do you want to look inside?"
"I should totally kill you for this." I slapped him on the chest. "Yes I want to go look inside." He gently kissed me before pulling me in the direction of the house. He walked us through the whole place, not forgetting about the yard in the back. It had a large kitchen, which was good because we both loved to cook. The living room had two couches with a tv on the opposite wall. The first room he showed me was ours with our bed in the center, flanked by two side tables and a very large wardrobe and an en-suite. Then he showed me an empty room, keeping the third one for last. He placed his hand over my eyes again and opened the door before we walked in and he let me look at it, a gasp escaping my lips. It was the nursery.
"Pete, it's beautiful." I looked around, sweeing the crip with the changing table across from it and a rocking love seat so I could nurse our daughter. One of the walls was a light pink, the name Lily on it in white letters and the other three were a soft beige colour. "It's perfect."
"Our family is perfect." I turned around and kissed him. "I can't believe you kept this a secret from me."
"I had a little help from Matt and Abbey."
"I'll have to thank them then." I smiled at him and leaned up to kiss him.
"I have one last surprise for you."
"Pete, you know I HATE surprises." I whined.
"You'll like this one." He guided me down to the basement where it was dark but as soon as he turned on the lights, everyone from 51 was waiting for us with a banner and balloons. They had also planned a baby shower for me. I walked around and thanked everyone, keeping my last one for Matt.
"Thanks for helping Peter out with this. The whole house looks amazing."
"You're welcome. I told Pete it was my gift for you and the baby."
"I love it, thanks." I pulled him in a hug and held onto him for a few seconds. Once I sat down, the party got started. Lily had been showered with loads of presents months before she was even due to come into this work and we had a wonderful evening with all our friends and families.
The last two months before Lily came were complete chaos. HQ was busier than I had seen it since taking my new posotion there and Pete was swarmed with one busy shift after another, making him totally exhausted. I gave birth to Lily Marie Mills in the middle of the night and she was perfect. Once we were settled back into our new house, things started to come back to the way they were. Peter spent every moment he could with both Lily and I while he had parental leave from the firehouse, spoiling us both. I was the happiest I had ever been. I had a husband that I loved with all my heart and a house, now a house of three, our daughter the cherry on top of the cake. Life was perfect.
a/n: Wow! So I really hadn't expected this chapter to be that long before the last few ones were a bit short compared to what I'm used to writing but since this is the last of three, I wanted it to count so I hope you enjoyed it and please leave a review before you go, I really can't wait to find out what you guys thought about it. - Sarra
