thank you all for reading this far. sorry that its taking so long to get out chapter 11. i wrote the whole story out on paper and now i have to type it all. when i went through it again i realized that chapter 11 was really long. so i decided to put it into two parts. this is the first part. i hope you all enjoy. i dont own Fairy Tail but i do own this story idea and OC characters. Talia belongs to silent angel eyes. review if you would. i would love to hear from you!

The group stared at her. A minute of silence passed. "What!" Natsu yelled breaking the silence.

"So your telling me that you had the key, this whole time?" Lucy said. Talia stared at her feet, "But I thought the key was pretty. And I was told to keep it a secret."

Jailen facepalmed. "Let's just get out of here." Luna inserted the key into the remaining hole and turned it.

There was a clicking noise and the door opened. A light shone from the door. "Finally." Gray said from the back.

They walked out single file. First Luna, Talia, Natsu, Lucy, Happy, Gray, Erza, Ru and last Jailen. On the way out Jailen ran into the door frame. "a little help?" Jailen called out.

Ru grabbed her arm, "What still blind?" Ru joked. "in fact, everything is still black." Jailen confirmed, "and I bet Talia didn't get her memories back."

Ru lead her out of the door and they ended up back in the middle of the abandoned town. Yet it wasn't abandoned. There were people in tattered clothing, checking themselves over. Talia observed a girl with cat ears and tail, holding onto her ears. She wanted to laugh but didn't knowing that the girl went through the same ordeal as them. The girl spotted Erza and she pounced like a cat, "Er-chan!" the girl whimpered.

"Millianna," Erza said surprised as the she hugged the girl, "You took that request?"

Talia left them to it. "So did you get your memories back?" Luna asked her coldly. Talia scanned her brain, "I don't think so."

Luna was astonished at first. She went over to the nearest abandoned building and punched it as hard as she could. It crumbled to dust. "Damn you Death." She mumbled a dark aura forming, "And I had finally found someone who would be a worthy opponent."

Then she started to laugh. A full-throated laugh that sent chills up the spine of anyone around. "Fine, so be it." She whispered, "I'll wait."

"who are you talking to?" Ru asked behind her. Luna spun around and swung but Ru dodged dragging Jailen with her. "none of your business." She snapped.

Ru smiled, "The train's here." Everyone heard the whistle, "What about our two million jewel?" Jailen whined.

Ru laughed, "Your lucky to escape with your life and your asking about money?" she ruffled her hair, "Forget it." Jailen pouted, "fine, I was just curious anyway."

They all got on the train and went home. As soon as they got back to the guild, the group was treated. "I guess Master heard of that strange request." Natsu pointed out. "When the other masters told me of several of their members going missing after taking the same request I knew something was up." Master said approaching them, " I was too late to stop you from going."

"I'm sorry." Jailen apologized. Master patted her head, "I'm just glad you're all safe." Jailen turned from the direction she was facing, "But if I hadn't chosen that request…" "Then we never would have stopped it from happening again to another guild." Ru finished.

Jailen looked at her, "But Talia's…" Ru still interrupted her, "She will get her memories back eventually."

"But what about my sight?" she yelled, "I still can't see a damn thing since we left that hell hole!"

Master took her hand, "Follow me." he said leading her to the door. "Are we going to Porlyusica?" she asked, "You really think she can help?"

Master just smiled at her as she pestered to know.

They made it to Porlyusica's but she said that it was nothing like she had ever seen before. She there was nothing she could do. "But I thought you could heal anything." Jailen said disappointed.

"in time, your sight will return, you just have to wait, you ungrateful girl." Porlyusica said to her.

As they were leaving Porlyusica spoke up, "girl you need to get some rest, your eyes are hollow and dull."

Jailen turned to her at the door, "I don't think I can sleep at the moment. And I don't need any potion or spell to help me." she smiled.

Then she stumbled out the door with Master behind. as the two walked through the forest in silence, Jailen spoke up, "Master, can you tell me something?" "Go ahead." He urged.

"Do you have any siblings that you care for dearly?" she asked.

Master thought for a moment, "I care dearly for everyone at the guild." Master answered.

Jailen smiled weakly, "I knew you would say that." Then she felt around and sat down on a protruding root.

"When I was in that hell, I saw my siblings." She gulped, her throat going dry, "Where me and Talia are from, I have a lot of them, ten in total." I saw them getting tortured."

She started shakking, "all sorts of methods were used against them, all of them. And when I tried to close my eyes, the images would just play on the inside of my eyelids." She took deep breaths as Master tried to comfort her, "master, the images just keep coming. I know their illusions but it looks so real. I even tried to help them but I couldn't move."

Master let her rant and pound her anger out until she was tired. "Master." Jailen said as they headed for the guild, "You're the best." And she dozed off in his arms.

"Oi! Are you listening to me?!" Natsu asked waving his in front of Jailen's face. He wasn't taking a chance with Talia, in case she might lash out at him in her distant stupor.

Jailen snapped to attention, "oh, sorry Natsu, dimension searching."

Natsu looked confused but then Lucy stepped in, "tomorrow is the 31st, the guild was having a Halloween Party." Lucy said.

"I, uh, never dressed up for Halloween." She whispered. Lucy stared at her, "So you never went trick or treating, dressed up in cute costumes, ate candy, or ever played pranks on people?" Erza said shocked overhearing the conversation.

Jailen shook her head, "all I did was eat candy that my friends gave me."

Erza grabbed her's and Lucy's hands and ran from the guild.
