The night they got back, Talia kicked Jailen from their dorm room. "Your snoring is too loud." She had said, so Jailen stayed with Ru.

All through the night she would wake up screaming and crying, so she curled up with Ru and fell asleep. So whenever she would wake up from a nightmare, Ru would be there to comfort her and sing her back to sleep.

Talia on the other hand, felt empty in her head. No matter how hard she tried, she still couldn't remember anything. If iwas frustration her and she couldn't get any sleep.

The next morning they both looked terrible. Talia's hair was a mess and she kept stumbling around. Jailen's eyes were red and puffy from crying, and her hair had the same fate as Talia's. they both seemed miles away.

"Oi! Are you listening to me?!" Natsu asked waving his in front of Jailen's face. He wasn't taking a chance with Talia, in case she might lash out at him in her distant stupor.

Jailen snapped to attention, "oh, sorry Natsu, dimension searching."

Natsu looked confused but then Lucy stepped in, "tomorrow is the 31st, the guild was having a Halloween Party." Lucy said.

"I, uh, never dressed up for Halloween." She whispered. Lucy stared at her, "So you never went trick or treating, dressed up in cute costumes, ate candy, or ever played pranks on people?" Erza said shocked overhearing the conversation.

Jailen shook her head, "all I did was eat candy that my friends gave me."

Erza grabbed her's and Lucy's hands and ran from the guild. Jailen pulled from her, 'Talia doesn't have a costume."

Lucy went to go get her. And Wendy decided to follow. "Oh and Natsu, you know I still cant see, you could have just said something." Jailen told Natsu.

"im over here." He spoke up but the girls were already gone.

"So Lucy, Erza, Wendy, what are you guys going to dress up as?" Jailen asked as Wendy pulled her colliding with an open door. "You should be careful." Wendy warned.

Jailen collided with a pole, "Im alright." She advised with a smile. Wendy chuckled, "are you sure Jailen-san?"

Jailen tapped her head playfully, "I have a really hard head." The girls laughed. Finally they reached the costume store. "Come on, what are you guys wearing?" Jailen laughed.

There was no answer until Jailen broke the silence, "I can see Erza dressed up as an elegant lady from the Edo period in Japan with a handsome samurai next to her." Erza laughed, "And who is that samurai?"

"im not telling." She returned the laugh, "Lucy, you're a princess in a baby blue dress and sapphire tiara. There's also a prince in shining armor too." Jailen could see it all clearly. A little too clearly.

"Wendy, I see you wearing wings and a halo." Jailen continued, "so an angel."

"Wow, you can really see that?!" Wendy asked amazed. Jailen nodded, "I don't know how but it's as clear as day."

Talia huffed, "Let's get it over with." "I forgot you hate clothing stores." Jailen sighed.

"Ah, Lucy, Erza, Wendy, buying costumes for the party I see." Ru said walking over.

"Jailen said she has never dressed up before." Lucy pointed out, "Eh, really? Even I dressed up a few times in my life." Ru said, then she pulled on someone behind her.

"Luna." Talia said surprised. Everyone was surprised that Luna was there. "What are you planning on wearing Luna-san?" Wendy asked. Luna huffed, "nothing special."

"come on, you know. I picked out that cute costume for you." Ru pointed out poking her.

Luna punched her hard and the girls heard a crack. Ru winced, "Fine, I'll wear it." Luna huffed, Ru just smiled and held up a black bag. "I knew it."

Luna snatched it from her and walked out of the store. "So Jailen, what are you wearing/" Ru asked.

Jailen's POV

I had always thought of several costumes to wear. Pirate, princess, samurai, vampire, werewolf, mermaid, elf, ninja, cowgirl, cyborg, to name a few that were going through my mind. I could barely make out the costumes on the rack. I didn't want to mention to anyone that my sight was slowly returning. It would make me feel embarrass if people knew how clumsy I was with or without my sight.

I glanced in Ru's general direction. "I was thinking an Indian like Pocahontas." I told her.

Ru looked confused, "Who's…?" she said before I held my hand up. I sighed, "An Indian princess, who was able to bring peace between Europeans and American Indians in the first settlement of Jamestown. Simple American history."

Ru seemed to understand. "How about this?" Erza asked me holding something up. I sighed again, "Please describe it to me, I still cant see." I told her.

I couldn't wait to get my sight back. I was tired of running into walls, poles and doors. And I hated missing out on that attempt to get Lucy and Natsu together.

Before Erza could start describing it to me, Ru interrupted. "that doesn't suit her at all. she's not some wild girl."

I imagined an animal pelt. I let them look for something and felt around for Talia. I crashed into three racks and one wall before I found her. "What you looking at?" I asked her.

"a dress." She said simply. I sighed for a third time, "Obviously. Details chica, details." I pleaded.

She laughed, but described it. Dark blue with white stars and dotted with a few planets on the belt. It had a sun necklace and black shoes. I thought it sounded pretty.

"So are you going to wear it?" I asked her. "Yeah, sure." She agreed. "I thought you would dress up as a mechanic, since you love to build and blow up stuff." I laughed.

"did I really like to do those things?" Talia asked. I nodded, "you were always looking for a fight, be it me or my little brother. It was always fun. You were the strongest person I know, and you still are. You were part of the robotics team and the robots you made were really cool." I told her as we sat down.

"I wish I could remember." She sighed, "Ever since we got back, members have been challenging me left and right."

I laughed. Talia punched me in the arm. It didn't hurt as much as it did before. "it's not funny, those guys were out to kill me." she huffed.

I laughed some more, "they cant kill you. They wouldn't go that far." I reassured her.

"Hey Jailen, found something." Ru called. I nodded and stood up. "Talia, just wait, your memories will come back, and you'll be the same old, strong-willed, smart, scary Talia Brooks." I grinned.

"Scary?" she asked confused. "Sometimes you scare me with your actions and horror games." I told her truthfully.

She laughed and I couldn't help but grin. "So see you tomorrow." I told her, running in the direction of Ru's voice.

My foot caught on a rack and I did a face plant on the ground. I moaned then started laughing. "Are you okay?" Ru asked. I nodded and got up. She pushed something at me and dragged me away.

"put it on." she ordered. I did as she said. I struggled with the clothing but Ru helped. "Come on, let's go show the others."

She pulled me until I heard Erza talking to Lucy. "Oh, it's pretty." Wendy commented. "it looks good on you." Erza nodded. "All you need to do is fix your hair." Lucy added.

"Feels a little short though." I said wearily. Ru laughed, "it's only slightly above the knees."

"its perfect for tomorrow." Lucy said cheerfully.

After some convincing, we bought the outfit. I was still exiled from the dorm room so Ru lead me to her house. Retsu ended up being there.

"What are you wearing Retsu?" I asked him as Ru made dinner. He mumbled something I didn't quite get. "What?" I asked him.

He didn't answer, so I started kicking him under the table. "Stop." He mumbled. I kicked him harder. "Just tell us." I whined, knowing Ru wanted to know as well.

"Stop it already. I'll tell you." He said after a few minutes of continuous kicking. I smiled as he said it. "Robin Hood." He sighed.

I pictured it. Then me and Ru started laughing at the same time. "What, Koyuki's making me wear it." He protested.

Through my blurred vision, I saw a little red paint his face. "Ah, is my little cold hearted brother blushing?" Ru teased. He swung at her but she dodged. "I cant wait to see you in tights." She laughed.

She continued to tease her brother throughout dinner. He basically had the same temper as my own little brother because halfway through dinner, he got up and stormed to his room, plate in hand.

After the slam of his door, there was a silence between me and Ru. We finished in silence, and went to wash the dishes.

"im getting my sight back." I announced as we were getting ready for bed. "That's great." Ru said thrilled.

"I can only make out shapes though." Ru said down on the bed and I sat next to her. I heard purring and knew that she was rubbing a sleeping Tora.

"I want Talia to remember." I told her. I was sort of scared to say anything. "Yeah, Luna seems on the edge lately. Its sort of pissing me off." Ru agreed.

I laughed lightly. "Hey, I'm wondering." Ru asked me. I listened. "You already know my future right?" I nodded, "So what does my future look like/ the future of Luna too?" she asked. I was positive her eyes were sparkling with curiosity.

"you really want to know?" I asked her, sort of scared she wasn't going to like it.

"Lay it on me." she said full of confidence. I told her. It took almost an hour. She remained quiet for a minute. "So i…" I nodded. "Well, that's a pretty good future." She said cheerfully.

"So Luna…" I nodded again. She looked impressed. Then she yawned and I followed. "well, good night." She yawned. I sneezed before curling up next to her and falling asleep as well.
