Sorry for the almost four month hiatus from this fic. I'm starting to get some ideas for this again, so I want to start writing for it again.

Thank you for the follows, faves, and reviews for past chapters, and for being patient with me.

To everyone wanting me to continue this, here you go, and thank you for wanting more. And to the guest who reviewed last week, your timing was interesting because I finished the quick draft of this a bit before I saw your review.

Did anyone see the first of three parts of the miniseries 'Tut' with Avan Jogia on Spike last night? I only saw about an hour of it, but I liked it. Hopefully they either play the first two parts before the third part, or all three parts after they all air.

Disclaimer: I don't own 'iCarly' or 'VicTORious'. Nor do I own any characters. The song, 'Disconnected', is the Lindsay Lohan song from her album 'Speak'.

Italics are song lyrics. I didn't use the full lyrics. Just most of them.

No POV

It's been a couple of months since Tori found out what Shelby and Jade were doing. Since then, when not in school, the youngest half-Latina spends her time with Trina, or alone in her room, working on songs, scripts, or listening to music. A few days after Jade and Shelby revealed their trick, Shelby moved back to Seattle with Juan and Rod to continue training there.

At school, Tori makes no move to acknowledge Jade. Sikowitz, noticing how the tanned girl acts around the pale girl, he has tried to pair them up. But, each attempt, assignment, even making them the lead in another play, fails to get the two girls to talk. Each homework assignment is done with a thick silence between them, few moments of talking to get the work done, nothing else. Any time he tried to pair them together for something during class, Tori would simply decline, not looking at anyone. When he made them the leads, Tori backed out, saying that she'll only take the lead if he picks someone else for the second lead.

Sikowitz tried to tell Tori that it's a bad idea to do something like that, because for a movie role, Broadway, working on an album, anything she wants to go into after school, there's a chance she'll have to work with someone she doesn't like. She agrees, but her refusal to work with Jade is too strong for her to give in, so he winds up picking two new people, Cat and Beck, to do the play, afraid of keeping Jade on and Tori saying he's playing favorites.

"Tori." Jade tries again after classes ended one Friday to get Tori to talk to her. "Please, let me explain." She says, walking beside the half-Latina on her way to her locker.

"Fuck you, Jade." Tori says simply, making no effort to stop. "Go find Shelby and fuck her." She says crudely, making the Goth stop in her steps, staring at the half-Latina with a mix of shock and worry in her eyes, never expecting that sort of reaction from the tanned girl.

"Shit." Jade says softly, heading towards her locker and exchanging her books.

When she arrives home, Tori heads straight to her room and tosses her bag on her bed and heads for her desk, turning her laptop on and deciding to work on her newest song, something she's been working on for the last month, getting it ready for the Full Moon Jam in a week.

"Finally." Tori whispers to herself as she saves the lyrics onto a flash drive and starts working on blending it with the piano she created for it and the guitar she asked Andre to work on after telling him a basic idea for the song.

"Hey." Trina says, knocking on her door and opening it, a plate of food in hand. "You missed dinner again." She says, handing Tori the plate and grabbing a bottle of apple flavored water she set on the floor to open the door, handing the bottle to Tori.

"Sorry." Tori says softly, giving her sister a gentle smile. "Thanks." She says, casually eating the lasagna, garlic bread, and small amount of salad on the plate. "Sorry. Just wanted to work on the song again." She says, finally checking the time, surprised that it took her four hours to work on the lyrics of her song.

"Can I hear it?" Trina asks, sitting down on Tori's bed.

"I want it to be a surprise when I play it." Tori says, eating the garlic bread. "Were mom and dad asking about me again?" She asks, knowing that each time she missed dinner, or lunch on the weekends, that her parents would ask Trina about her.

"Yeah." Trina admits, looking at her sister. "Talk to Shelby. She's called multiple times, wanting to talk to you." She says as her sister eats.

"No." Tori says, shaking her head. "I'm not ready to talk to her." She says, opening the water bottle and taking a swig of it to wash her bite down.

"It's been two months. Give her a chance at least." Trina says softly as she stands up. "Give it a thought. Night sis. Love you." She says, giving Tori a small hug before she heads out, closing the door behind her. "Dammit." She says to herself as she heads for her room to brush her teeth and get ready to go out with some friends.

A week later, Tori stands to the side of the stage set up in the Asphalt Café for her third Full Moon Jam, a headset wrapped around the back of her head with the microphone set in front of her mouth. Dressed in a dark purple knee-length dress with black leggings, similar to the outfit she borrowed from Jade during the ping-pong dinner years ago, with her hair straightened and styled in a braided crown, the rest of her hair resting down her spine in a ponytail.

On the stage, Cat nears the end of her song, a cover of a Whitney Houston song from her move 'The Bodyguard'. As Andre comes out and announces Tori, she walks onto the stage, making no move to wave to the crowd like she normally would, and stops as Sinjin and Burf bring out a keyboard and chair for her, setting it up in the middle of the stage, with her back to where she just entered.

Not saying a word, she starts her song, a hint of loneliness in her tone as she sings.

Sleeping awake

And awake

When I'm sleeping

Tori sings, her eyes closed as she plays the keys, Andre behind her with his guitar to play the song, the dark-skinned musician only knowing the guitar part of the song, not knowing the lyrics or anything.

I've got a dry

Kind of thirst

When drenched

As she plays, the crowd of students, faculty, and family, watch with silence, surprised to hear the usually peppy brunette playing such a somber song.

Disconnected

Broken off again

And I'm only not lonely when I'm lonely bymself

(Disconnected)

Numb in pain again

I always backtrack forward

Cuz all in all

I'm disconnected

As she sings, the pale Goth watches from the back of the café, watching Tori sing.

I just want to live my life sedated

Cuz I love driving myself away

Dysfunctionally sane don't give a damn

I can't comprehend

What I understand

Cat, Robbie, Beck, Jade, even Andre and Trina watch as she sings, Andre and Trina seeing the hints of tears in her eyes as she sings since they were the closest to her. As she repeats the chorus, they notice a few tears streaming down her face.

Disconnected

Tori says, finishing the song. As everyone watches her and starts to clap, she stands up and walks off the stage, jogging into the school.

What no one noticed, was that as she sang, her twin got dropped off by her trainer. To hide her identity, Shelby wore a thin hoodie with the hood up, skinny jeans, and her hair acting as a veil of sorts to help hide her identity a bit more from everyone's gaze if they spot her.

Hope this was good. I admit, I do like Lindsay Lohan's albums. Disconnected and Confessions Of A Broken Heart (Daughter To Father) are some of my favorite songs of hers. I thought 'Disconnected' was a good song for Tori to play for this.

Let me know what you guys think of this chapter.

Things will eventually get better for the girls, with Tori and Jade getting closer, and Tori and Shelby becoming sisters again. I just don't know when that'll be, but I'll try to get this behind them soon. No promises though.

Blessed Be.
