MASS POST WARNING: GO BACK AND READ THE FIRST CHAPTER OF THIS FINAL MASS POST. The recommended song for this chapter is "Your Love is My Drug" by Ke$ha. I like to envision all the girls singing it to their partners while dancing from side to side. I might make a cover of it and demonstrate what I mean…I just need friends to help me.

But then again, that's me being optimistic.

I really was meant to be

Next to you

For always and always

Until time ends

Until every star winks out

I'll hold your hand,

Watching the sky go dark

For Love is stronger than Death

For always and forever

Epilogue: "My One Just For Me"

It hadn't gone all pear-shaped, surprisingly.

The Mages had had a hard time trying to clean up the aftermath of their battle with Angel.

Minoru did, eventually, lose part of that petrified leg. By the time the Healers had reversed some of the petrification, the conversion of flesh to stone had been made permanent. From mid-calf downwards, he would have to have a replacement, much like Amber's mechanical appendages.

Meroko had lost only a year's worth of memories, to their surprise. The backups she left on the storage units at home were waiting for her when she recovered from releasing her "Special Program." The program, read 'virus' if you were a programmer, overrode all the programs and subroutines that made obeying humans a compulsory action.

Ironically, she had decided to call the program in question 'Libre'. Chii had given them real emotions, but Meroko had granted their people freedom. It also prevented most of the news Persocoms involved with the coverage of the fight in downtown Tokyo from having their memories wiped by the magical government.

So, the world, forced into having to face not only having disobedient and independent Persocoms, was also permanently exposed to magic.

MiiMii, FiiFii, and Jared had been released from the basement. Since The Game was over, they had no real reason to attack Amber or her friends. The first two were eager to leave, but couldn't go back to Kupari, due to him being sent to a certain magical prison. They ended up running off to some unknown location. The last appeared repentant, apologized, and offered to try and repay them in some way. After some time he ended up as an intern in the Eastern branch of the Ministry of Magic, working under Minako, who had become an official. Junji had been offered a promotion to become the Head of Mundane Relations. But, as it would have been a huge headache on his part, he presented a counter-offer on the table. So, that was how Minako became the first female, let alone the first Persocom, to become the Head of a department under The Eastern Council of Magic. The Council was reluctant to promote her, but after her husband's constant insistence, and the petitions of several influential and irate Witches and female Mages, they folded. Junji had no desire to leave his teaching position, after all, and she was the obvious choice to oversee the department.

After some time, Kotoko and Kojima became anchors on an online news station that dealt with successfully merging technology with magic. Of the others in that business, they were the most successful, and the most skilled. Almost two Billion subscribers did count for something, after all.

Yuzuki had become a drama producer-slash-director, and Minoru had started his own production company and cable network. The former preceded the latter, actually. But they tried to corner the market in both the magical and Mundane worlds, and became a most formidable duo in entertainment. The power-duo vacationed in Jeju Island every summer, and were often found travelling from place to place, but still found plenty of free-time to meet up with their friends on a regular basis.

Lastly, Amber and Garrett had remained the same, mostly. They were still rich and still fabulous. Everyone else could attest to the fact that they both were doing more than okay. It was well-known that Amu had gotten a full-sized body, as well as Chell, and the four of them were living together in various places like London, California, Kyoto, and Seoul, just to name a few. Shawn was still her obsessive father, who still disapproved of her relationship with Garrett.

Everything seemed to be wrapped up nicely with a little bow.

The Broken Doll

Volume 3.

By Chouko Kuro

The first girl had once been the second, but due to circumstance, she had to forget her past. Tragedy had followed her wherever she went.

There were two paper cutouts that looked like the silhouettes of two girls. One was in white paper. The other was in black paper. They both were crying, from what the illustration displayed.

However, something more than a miracle appeared. Even though she had been afraid—even though she had gone through so much hardship…

A starry sky appeared on the next page.

All along, instead of giving in to cruelty, it seemed that she needed to find something more important. Even though the world cursed her, and wanted to devour her whole. Even when the days seemed dark, and her heart threatened to burst from within her chest…

An anguished little girl with dark hair had her hands folded in prayer. She was sitting in the grass beside a calm lake. Behind her was a crowd of angry people.

Love had brought her beyond that terrible fate.

The girl looked surprised to find her friends meet her. They were a small group of people with kind smiles.

Yes, the girl had overcome the final test.

Yes, her deepest wish had finally been fulfilled.

The one in front, the boy with light hair, extended a hand and smiled warmly.

She had obtained the power and knowledge to protect her friends. And what a large group of friends she had gained! She had been told that she lived in a world with no people, but how wrong that was.

There was a close-up on the meeting of their hands, and in the next scene the boy pulled the girl into a hug.

It didn't matter if you were Human or Goddesss, or if you were a Persocom or a Vampire.

It didn't matter if she was broken or not—the girl no longer was alone.

Everyone else, the rest of her friends, joined in, wiping away her tears and reassuring her, encircling her in a ring of comfort.

She no longer was broken, nor was she fully whole. She was simply free to exist as she pleased, and that was what made all the difference.

The girl no longer looked sad or afraid. Although she was crying, her face was spread into a large grin.

Content with the ending, Chii closed the last volume of the series she had been reading. On the cover was the silhouette of the same figure from the first two books. However, this time the book was bright red, and a little white heart was cut out of the silhouette. She placed it on the shelf and turned away, smiling slightly. On the calendar on the wall was a mess of scribbles, but today's date was encircled with two overlapping red hearts.

...

In the midst of a bustling ballroom, there was a large group of people in the center of the dancefloor. Across from them was a bespectacled woman with copper hair and gold-rimmed eyes. With only one eye, she was peered into a large camera perched upon a tripod.

In the middle of the group was Chii and Hideki, both looking so primped and polished that hardly anyone could recognize them. Chii's lengthy hair was styled into an elaborate French braid adorned with daises. Hideki's usual messy do was slicked back, giving him a very mature look. They both were wearing all-white, and Chii's dress had a train that was so long it could be wrapped around her neck like a scarf, if needed.

Beside Chii, as her Matron of Honor, was Meroko. She had a peach-colored dress that matched nicely with her hair and eyes. It draped over her body in a loose but flattering design—it somewhat resembled a toga mixed with a princes-cut dress. The bridesmaids were dressed in the same outfit, and it looked better on some more than others. It completely clashed with Kotoko's eyes, but the contrast of her dark hair (which was in a marvelous high bun with bangs) against the pink made up for it somewhat. Yuzuki's figure made the dress a little more sensual than intended, despite the fitting sessions before the wedding. But no one really complained. Amber, despite hating the color chosen, absolutely didn't match with it (she was a winter and had preferred lavender), but still managed to pull off the look with accessories. Her pink pearl earrings and necklace complimented the overall color scheme nicely.

Hideki's best man was, surprisingly, Minoru. Seeing as this was his second time being someone's best man, the youngster wasn't as nervous or as flustered as the first time he had been asked. He was now also old enough to be in highschool, and most definitely could be considered a 'man' in all aspects. He was just waiting for the right moment to pop the question, though, since his mother still didn't approve of him marrying a certain blue-haired beauty. Ueda, Kojima, and Garrett were his groomsmen, of course. They weren't wearing pink suits to match the bridesmaids, thank goodness, but had classic tuxedos.

"Everyone say 'Free'!" chimed the photographer loudly.

In front of her, the group suddenly froze into place, all of them looking nothing less than fabulous.

"Free!" shouted the wedding party.

A flash went off, and they were dismissed from the mandatory photo-shoot.

It was only after Chii had babbled on about how happy she was to her bridesmaids that she grabbed Hideki's elbow and navigated him to a free spot on the dancefloor.

Everyone else was left to his or her own devices. Some, like Kojima, were going straight for the buffet, and Kotoko watched him carefully to monitor his calorie intake. Junji and Minako had declined Chii's offer to become part of the wedding party, and were sitting with Kotoko and her equally stubborn boyfriend. When given the offer, Junji had mentioned something about 'not craping the young folks' style' and left it at that.

In formal clothes for once, Dita and Zima were wearing nothing other than black. Dita's gown was very conservative, however, and left nothing below her neck exposed. Zima was just as classy, and had an old-fashioned tuxedo, with a red shirt and black bowtie. Apparently, during the whole government restructuring program, they had exchanged their silence about their covert ops missions for freedom. They had come clean about tracking Garrett and the others, though, and the two became very good acquaintances to have.

Lastly, there was Amber and Garrett, who, like their newlywed friends, had taken to the dancefloor. A very emotional song was playing at the moment. Fortunately for them, Meroko had wanted to sing for this event, and had barged onto the stage, demanding the mike like the diva she was.

Ending Theme: The Everlasting Guilty Crown (Full Size)

Even with the electric guitar, the song was softened by the piano in the background, which carried most of the tenderness and consistency of the melody. Meroko's tender vocals really did the piece justice, though, and her enthusiastic crooning fully completed the song. It was a strange balance between electronic music and contemporary piano that made it all the more danceable.

"So what do you think?" asked Garrett, nodding over at the two silly forms of Chii and Hideki getting down as best they could. In contrast, the heiress and her knight were gliding along easily, making more of a spectacle than even Kojima's dance skills ever could. Amber had been a dancer, after all. Garrett was not completely rythmless either.

"About Chii and Hideki? I think they're going to be just fine."

Garrett twirled her around and dipped her back briefly. Her hair did a little show of bouncing about as well. When Garrett brought her back up, he smirked.

"Oh? You really think so?" They were now nose to nose and dancing along while holding very close to one another. A few people were watching this with mild interest, but everyone else was more occupied with the bride and groom's ViewTube worthy performance. It didn't stop others from recording this other exchange, though. "Well, what about us?"

"We'll be fine," said Amber, stifling a chuckle.

Garrett also seemed to be on the brink of laughter. "You sound confident about that, love."

"This is coming from the man who waited forever to propose to me?"

He had been very unconfident about her answer, despite all they had been through. He had wanted to do it for so long; he had just blurted it all out once they returned from Elysium for the second time.

"I was just waiting for you to ask me," he replied effortlessly, despite it being a lie.

"Likely story," Amber mumbled.

"It's true!" he insisted, "you're always saying how progressive and modern you are, so I was waiting for you to ask."

Another lie. His even blush betrayed that instantly.

"Really? Then, Mr. Ravensdale, tell me, why did you wait so long?"

He looked sideways as they did a little sidestep. "Well, I had been wondering for a while if you truly liked me."

Although he was playing coy, it seemed as if he was still in disbelief from her response that day. He had truly picked the oddest time to propose, and sometimes he wondered if her answer was positive because she had still been so emotionally vulnerable.

"Do you still wonder?"

Garrett nodded. They had stopped dancing so wildly. Instead, they were swaying from side to side, and Amber had her arms resting on his shoulders with her hands gently meeting behind his neck. The two were gazing into each other's eyes so intensely that it was difficult to tell what was going on from looking on from the outside. Well, other than assuming that the two were drowning in love.

"Well, here's some reassurance."

Leaning forward and balancing on her toes, she rose herself up to whisper into his ear:

"I swear upon my life and magic that you are the one just for me."

After she lowered herself back down, Amber pressed her lips against his, and closed her eyes. He returned the gesture just as readily, also closing his eyes. Even though there were onlookers and video cameras, it mattered not.

When they kissed, time stopped for an immeasurable fraction of forever.

So we'll all meet again; I'm sure of it

Everyone we've lost—only gone for a moment

In that beautiful garden, we'll meet again

Were the sky is bluer than anything you've seen

And the grass is richer than the greenest green

I'll stay with you there, and pick you a bouquet

Filled with forever-blooming, Eternal Flowers

Thank you for reading. I finally finished another fanfiction! More bonus material is coming soon. I might publish "The Broken Doll," as a children's book, actually, so make sure you look out for that. When it's done, I'll post a link on my profile. I'm also working on a separate work called "The Broken Dolls" , using Amber and Garrett as ongoing stars.

Any questions you may pose will either be answered in the upcoming wiki project I'm starting, the prequel fanfiction(s) 'Puella Magi Yuuko Magica' or 'Chobits Files', or the upcoming fanfiction(s).

To ask a question, just review a chapter or PM me. I'll respond within 24 hours, hopefully.

I really need to find an artist to help me turn this into a manga, because it just really really comes to life in my mind. If there's also an artist who wants to pair up with me to apply to Yen Press, concerning another original story of mine, I'd happily consider accepting you.

If any of you want to take part in the upcoming dramatic reading project of this story for my YouTube channel, please apply in a PM. All positions are open, including the narrator.

I hope that you all still believe that your dreams will come true.

Goodbye. Hopefully not for forever.
