I read all the reviews for the last chapter and then some and I am really happy for all of you and your support so far! I don't have an estimated idea for when I'll hit the end of the story, since I HATE endings... lol, so hang in here with me until I finally figure out what to do.
Sorry for the VERY long wait for an update. Some of my friends at school are pestering me to update some of my original stories. They wanted to read them so bad and I was all like "sure" before I could realize what was happening. That's where I've been. Well... that and my internet keeps getting turned off and going down, so I was all like... "whelp, let's work on this story and this one" and before I knew it I had worked on only a couple for HOURS without noticing. Anyway, the updates will be (hopefully) faster after I write down a To-Do list for days. Like fanfiction on Mondays and Wednesdays and originals on Tuesdays Thursdays, and Sundays... something like that. Lol.
P.S.: The lemon will come... just... wait it out a bit. I'm trying to find a really clever way for it to happen :3 I just love making them suffer... lol. Plus, their relationship needs to grow a little... or at least, that's what I think... before I can start making them go ALL the way (^.-) Can't have them getting comfortable too fast~.
Hope you enjoy~!

Zoro awoke to a comfortable silence. He groped along the bed, remembering that he fell asleep with the cook by his side. The area where Sanji had slept was ice cold and he was nowhere to be found. It wasn't until Zoro got out of bed and walked into the living room that he even remotely heard the blonde chef. There was the sound of keys turning in the door knob as the only indication of where Sanji might be.
Sanji slammed the door open with his foot cursing to himself as he carried a pile of bags. Zoro stood there dumbstruck at the sight before him for a while. The blonde sat the bags by the kitchen before walking back out the door. It took Zoro a few moments to even take a step forward to offer his help. By that time Sanji had already slammed the door shut again with his foot and grumbled something before heading for the kitchen.
"Oi marimo, a simple sandwich better be good enough for breakfast!" Sanji growled, cursing some more as he began emptying the contents of the bags.
"Uh, sure." Zoro stood there shocked.
"What the fuck is up with you?" Sanji snapped, putting away the piles of food that he had just emptied out from the bags.
"That's what I should be saying... where the hell did all this come from?" Zoro grumbled before taking a seat on one of the bar stools by the counter.
"We were running low and I left most of it at Chopper's." Sanji explained, calming down a bit. "I took some of the money Zeff sent with me and used it to get food."
"Oh... alright." Zoro shrugged casually, his eyes following the blonde's movements.
Zoro sat there for a while while Sanji hurriedly put away the ingredients. The swordsman got spaced out while watching the blonde and ended up unconsciously following his every movement while he mentally stripped the cook down to his dark blue boxers that he was wearing last night. Sanji felt Zoro practically boring a hole in the back of his head. He gulped and blushed a little at the thought of the swordsman eying him up, but didn't do anything. It wasn't until Sanji had started making the sandwiches for breakfast that he noticed Zoro had spaced out.
"Zoro. Do you want ham, turkey, or chicken as your meat and how many slices?" Sanji asked politely but didn't get an answer.
"..." Zoro just stared right at him distantly without a sound.
"Marimo. Ham, turkey, or chicken?" Sanji growled.
"..."
The blonde's eyebrow twitched as he got annoyed with not getting a reply. Sanji cursed and muttered under his breath as he walked up to the green-haired man. A deadly look in his eyes. " .MO. Ham. Turkey. Chicken. Which?" Sanji drew out threateningly.
"..."
The lack of an answer made Sanji growl out some curses and go out around the counter to the swordsman's side. If Zoro wasn't going to answer him or pay attention, then he was going to do something about it. Sanji thought for a while before smirking to himself. "This will definitely do it!"
Sanji leaned down and smashed his lips to the swordsman's. Zoro was brought out of his thoughts and to the present almost immediately to find Sanji assaulting his lips roughly. Before Zoro could react, Sanji pulled away. The look in his eyes were serious. He was not happy at all.
"Ham, turkey, or chicken. What do you want on your sandwich?" Sanji hissed sharply, his eyebrow twitching ever-so-slightly.
"Uh... all three." Zoro stumbled over his choices.
"Mhmm... good." Sanji smiled.
Zoro knew that smile. It was the kind the blonde used when he was really pissed at something but didn't want to show the other person just how pissed he really was. Sanji took a step back and waited for Zoro to turn back around before his eyes darkened. He lifted his dominant leg off the ground and swung it in a full rotation until it slammed the swordsman in the side harshly, sending him crashing to the ground and the bar stool teetering dangerously in its spot. The swordsman picked himself off the floor cursing to himself before whipping around to the cook.
"WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT FOR!" Zoro roared angrily.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT FOR'? YOU IGNORED ME WHEN I ASKED YOU A QUESTION THREE FUCKING TIMES!" Sanji screeched back, the swordsman starting at him as if he just ate an eel.
"You only asked once!" Zoro growled defensively.
"No. That was three times. Three fucking times! You just continued to fucking stare at my ass as if I never fucking asked a damn thing!" Sanji snarled back.
"No I didn-..." Zoro paused for a moment. He had spaced out again, hadn't he? "I... I spaced out... sorry."
Sanji watched as the swordsman's shoulders dropped drastically and his eyes reflected his apology. Something in Sanji squirmed, making the blonde cook feel guilty for yelling at the swordsman and kicking him. He rubbed at his neck nervously and guiltily before heaving a deep sigh. It wasn't like the blonde to apologize for something he did to a man, but Zoro was no ordinary man, he was different.
"No. I'm sorry. I should have considered other possibilities. It's not your fault." Sanji apologized, dropping his head slightly in shame. "Now how many slices of meat and cheese do you want?"
"Uh... two, each. What kind of cheese did you get?" Zoro asked, lightening up a bit.
"Swiss, Mozzarella, American, and Pepperjack." Sanji replied, lightening up as well.
"What the hell is Pepperjack?" Zoro snorted.
"Cheese with peppercorn in it." Sanji simplified the answer so that Zoro would understand.
"What does it taste like?" Zoro inquired curiously.
"Hmm. I don't know. Why don't you come and try some." Sanji snickered ever-so-slightly, hiding his real intentions perfectly.
"Uh, okay." Zoro shrugged, not noticing the blonde's ulterior motive.
"It's this one here." Sanji pointed out the block of cheese that he had sliced a thin strip off of.
Zoro walked into the kitchen and picked up the sliver of cheese. He had went to stick it in his mouth but was stopped when Sanji walked over to him and ate it right out of his hand. Sanji had made sure to lick as many of Zoro's fingers as possible as he put the whole slice into his mouth. Luckily, Zoro had rolled it to make it easier to just eat, making it even more easier for Sanji to swipe. The swordsman stared at Sanji with wide eyes from the shock as the cook swiped his cheese and continued to finish making the sandwiches.
"Mhmm... tastes spicy, what do you think?" Sanji spoke passively like he hadn't done a thing.
"I don't know, I didn't get any." Zoro replied darkly.
"Yes you did. What did it taste like?" Sanji growled lowly.
"How about I have another taste then? I didn't get to taste the flavor the first time." Zoro whispered in Sanji's ear seductively.
"Cheese is over there. Cut yourself a piece, I'm busy." Sanji stated.
"Gladly..." Zoro rumbled, grabbing Sanji's jaw and twisting it around until the blonde faced him.
Zoro leaned down and pressed his lips against Sanji's. He forcefully pushed his tongue into the cook's mouth, tasting the flavor as he went. It didn't take him long to find the blonde's natural taste and separate it from the flavor of the Pepperjack cheese. Sanji didn't fight back as Zoro fully explored his mouth and the flavors in it. After a short while, the green-haired male pulled back away, smirking to himself.
"You're right, it is a little spicy. I kind of like it. Put a slice of this and mozzarella into my sandwich. Got it?" Zoro smirked, leaving the kitchen to sit back down on the stool.
"Where do you think you're going?" Sanji asked skeptically.
"Back to my seat to wait for my sandwich. Where else could I be?" Zoro stated smugly.
"Okay. Whatever. Be like that." Sanji growled, returning to his sandwich making.
"What? Disappointed that I didn't do you right there in the kitchen?" Zoro chuckled as Sanji's cheeks went cherry red. "I was trying to keep the kitchen sanitary, but if you want I can arrange something."
"N-no... you'll ruin the food." Sanji composed himself as fast as he could.
~!~
Zoro had gotten ready after finishing his sandwich, leaving Sanji to eat alone at the counter. He heard a whining sound escape the blonde's lips as he left. Sanji had finished up his sandwich and got ready for school as well. The swordsman was the first to finish, so he waited in the kitchen until Sanji came out.
The moment Sanji stepped foot into the kitchen, he was pushed up against the counter by Zoro. Zoro hovered over the blonde with his chest against Sanji's, his lips grazing the blonde's ear ever-so-slightly. Sanji shivered a little and had to grip the counter when Zoro kissed a trail down the side of his neck to the top of the school uniform. At this point, Sanji was having issues standing on his own.
"Time for school cook." Zoro growled huskily before leaving Sanji alone to grab his bag and walk out the door.
"Shitty marimo..." Sanji breathed as he stood there helplessly for a while before following.
~!~
They got to school and into the classroom moments before the bell rang. It took Sanji a whole two seconds before he started to dance around the girls, complimenting their appearances and outfits. Zoro rolled his eyes just as the teacher came in, sending the students back to their seats. Class went off without a hitch, Sanji continuing to kick Zoro's chair every time he fell asleep.
Lunch time rolled around and Zoro realized that he didn't have a lunch once again. The swordsman looked over to Sanji to find the blonde pulling two bento boxes out of his desk, making Zoro smirk. He watched carefully as Sanji walked past his desk and dumped the bento box on it while whispering a simple "roof" before taking off. Zoro couldn't help but smile at the teasing gesture before waiting a moment and then proceeding to chase after his blonde cook.
Sanji had just gotten into the stairwell as someone came up behind him. A pair of rough hands gripped his waist while lips smashed against his own. The blonde starting to freak out and flail until he noticed the splash of mint green in his vision. Calming down a bit, Sanji leaned into the gesture. Zoro pushed back, dragging the blonde up the stairs and pushing him against the door.
Zoro sat his bento box down onto the ground before dragging the cook's school uniform up as he slid his hands under the top. Sanji gasped against his lips from the sudden heat. He was pressed against the door even more as Zoro lifted his shirt up to his chin. The swordsman drew away from the blonde's kiss and bent just enough to nip at his chest, leaving light red marks.
"Hey..." Sanji growled huskily. "Don't leave marks."
"I won't leave them where someone can see them." Zoro drew out seductively.
Sanji couldn't reply to the last comment because Zoro decided then that it was a good idea to nip at Sanji's nipples teasingly. The blonde had to throw a hand over his mouth and bite at his fingers to keep down a moan. Zoro smirked slightly before nipping a little harder, drawing a muffled growl from the blonde. He growled lowly before continuing the action, drawing a slightly louder muffled moan from Sanji. After a couple of seconds, Sanji had issues keeping the moans down without making it louder.
Just as Zoro had begun removing the blonde's shirt and sliding down Sanji's pants, the door to the roof opened, sending them both to the ground. Sanji stared up at Zoro with wide, scared eyes when he realized that the door hadn't opened by itself. Zoro hovered over the blonde protectively as he glared up at the culprit only to find Robin giggling to herself lightly. She moved into the stairwell before glancing back over her shoulder.
"Lunch will be over in about fifty minutes. You two might want to hurry it up a little." Robin giggled more before disappearing down the steps.
"Damn creepy woman." Zoro growled angrily only to receive a light smack to the head.
"Don't call a lady creepy!" Sanji snapped, his face flush with embarrassment.
"Shut it shit cook. I can call her what I want!" Zoro snorted before sitting up, straddling the cooks hips.
"N-no you can't!" Sanji bit back.
"Who says?" Zoro challenged, leaning down enough to grind the blonde a bit teasingly.
"Ah... I-I say..." Sanji huffed.
"Whose rules?" Zoro asked, grinding down again.
"Ugn... M-mine!" Sanji tried to sound as intimidating as possible only to sound needy.
"Not any more." Zoro drew out seductively.
"-SANJI~ MEAT~!" A loud yell came echoing up through the stairs, startling the two males.
Zoro quickly removed himself from Sanji's hips as Sanji hurried to fix his clothing and hair enough to look like he had ten minutes ago. Luffy came spiraling onto the roof just as Zoro had sat back down with their lunches and gave Sanji his. The raven tackled Sanji to the ground through sheer force, making Zoro growl just low enough not to be heard. Sanji pushed the hyper raven off of himself with some issues.
"Sanji! Did you bring me meat~?" Luffy bounced in front of the blonde, practically drooling.
"No." Sanji stated boldly, watching the raven's smile drop.
"-but Sanji~! Zoro gets meat every day~." Luffy whined.
"That's because the shit head won't eat anything else." Sanji growled, sending a glare towards the swordsman.
"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Zoro growled back, leaving his food unattended.
Luffy saw the chance and stole a couple of the different meats inside of the bento. Zoro noticed him and tried to get some of it back only to watch the raven devour it whole. Sanji snickered to himself as he watched Zoro fight with Luffy over some pieces of meat. The raven won in the end, eating over half of Zoro's lunch.
"Luffy! That was over half of my lunch!" Zoro roared angrily.
"Shorry Zhoro~!" Luffy mumbled through a mouthful of meat.
"Stop being such a baby marimo! I'll let you have some of mine." Sanji dropped his voice as he said the second sentence.
"Don't mind if I do." Zoro smirked, stealing the blonde's bento box before taking most of the meat and eating it.
"Shitty marimo! Don't fucking eat all of it!" Sanji hissed, throwing himself at Zoro in an effort to take the lunchbox back.
"I wasn't going to... but now I think I will." Zoro said evilly.
"Bastard!" Sanji screeched only to have his next thoughts wiped from his mind when Zoro smashed their lips together. The blonde's mind whirred at what had happened when Zoro cut it off just as suddenly.
"Shit head, he'll see!" Sanji hissed in a low whisper.
"He'll never notice. Kid hasn't even noticed that his parents make out right in front of him." Zoro whispered back.
"Sanji~!" Luffy whined while turning around. "Give me your meat~!"
"No! Get your own fucking meal!" Sanji hissed as he finally managed to secure his bento box from Zoro.
"How come Zoro gets to eat from your bento?" Luffy kept whining like a small child.
"He doesn't!" Sanji growled.
Just then, Zoro grabbed the bento out of Sanji's hand and stole some more. He stuffed it in his mouth before Sanji could take it back. With a determined screech, the cook lunged for the bento box. Zoro tossed a takoyaki ball towards the other side of the roof, drawing Luffy's attention to the tasty morsel. As the raven turned away, Zoro smashed his lips against the blonde's once more. Pushing the partially chewed food into the blonde's mouth before breaking it off and sitting back up. Sanji blushed about ten shades of red and pouted slightly while he obediently chewed his food. Luffy came back with a smile of victory at having successfully gotten the takoyaki.
"Again, again!" Luffy bounced.
"Not until you go find Ace and make him buy you lunch. Then I'll throw you another." Zoro pushed his luck.
"Okay~!" Luffy cheered before running off. "Ta-ko-ya-ki, Ta-ko-ya-ki."
"Finally gone!" Zoro smiled victoriously.
"Not fast enough!" Sanji growled. "He's annoying as hell when he wants to be fed."
"Yeah, why do you think I don't pack lunch?" Zoro chuckled.
"You should still pack something to eat!" Sanji reprimanded.
"I'm fine without it. One meal a day won't hurt me." Zoro snorted confidently.
"One meal a day!? Are you nuts!" Sanji hissed, the conversation was hitting a sensitive topic for the blonde chef. "You need to eat three meals a day! No skipping meals!"
"Skipping a few doesn't hurt anyone. It makes things easier." Zoro waved it off like air.
"Roronoa Zoro!" Sanji growled, catching the swordsman's attention immediately at the use of his full name. "You WILL eat THREE meals A DAY under MY roof!"
"Okay, okay! I haven't missed a meal since you showed up anyway." Zoro blushed lightly.
"That doesn't mean that you can go and fucking starve yourself when I am no longer there!" Sanji snarled threateningly.
"Alright, alright! I'll remember to eat!" Zoro said in an apologetic manner.
"Haa... You're going to end up killing me one of these days." Sanji sighed, running his fingers through his bangs tiredly.
Zoro leaned over and placed a gently kiss on the cook's normally hidden cheek, making the blonde blush. He then gently dragged Sanji's hair off to the side so that he could see both eyes clearly. Sanji blushed harder and looked away while fidgeting slightly under the swordsman's intense stare. The swordsman placed a couple of kisses on the blonde's cheek before gently kissing him on the forehead. Straightening out his posture, Zoro watched the cook blush even harder and stare in any direction other than the swordsman's face while he just smirked knowingly.
The school bell went off just as someone slammed the door to the roof open. Sanji scrambled to move his fringe back into place before anyone else could see his other eye. His eye widened as he noticed who was standing in front of them. Zoro had been sitting in between Sanji and the door. A hand was placed atop Zoro's head, making the swordsman grimace.
"So this is where you two love birds went." The unmistakeable tone of Ace's voice assaulted Zoro's ears, making him grimace more.
"What do you want Ace?" Zoro growled rather threateningly.
"Wow! Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Didn't he, blondie?" Ace feigned hurt while sitting down beside Sanji and throwing an arm over the blonde's shoulder. "I'm running from my little brother. He was screaming down the hallway about buying him lunch so I hid."
"Why not just buy him lunch then?" Sanji asked innocently only to get both Ace and Zoro staring back at him with wide eyes.
"He empties wallets..." Zoro drew out.
"Luffy can eat the cafeteria dry of food if someone told him that everything was up for grabs. That boy doesn't know when to stop and I swear his stomach is a gaping black hole." Ace elaborated on Zoro's answer.
"He can't be that bad... can he?" Sanji fidgeted uncomfortably.
"Yes!" Both males replied at the same time with the same intensity to their voices.
"ACE~!" Luffy's voice echoed up the stairs. "WHERE ARE YOU~?"
"Time to bolt! Have fun lovebirds~!" Ace smirked as he dashed across the roof and back down the stairs in an effort to get somewhere safe before his brother found him.
"Lovebirds?" Sanji paled. "How does he know?"
"Oh... might be my fault..." Zoro mumbled.
"Did you tell him?" Sanji practically shouted, fidgeting nervously.
"No... not exactly." Zoro sighed. "I might have threatened him a little that night we went to the club. Thought I didn't say it outright!"
"Why? We weren't even... then." Sanji waved his arms around wildly to motion what their relationship was.
"Well... he was hanging all over you and wouldn't leave you alone. I kinda... liked you then... too." Zoro drew out embarrassingly.
"Aww... so you did care." Sanji teased.
"Shut up! It's your own damn fault for not being able to protect yourself." Zoro growled without any real bite to his words.
"What the fuck does that mean?" Sanji hissed with the same lack of bite.
"It means that you're..." Zoro leaned in until his chest touched the blonde's and he was able to whisper in his ear. "Delicate."
"I'm not delicate." Sanji bit back quietly, his face heating up.
"You sure? Do you want to test that out?" Zoro asked devilishly as he went back to his original position.
"Yes! Tonight... I guess..." Sanji had started off confidently, then ended up drawing out the rest slowly. "I-I'll show you... that I'm not... delicate."
"Alright. Remember that you're the one inviting me." Zoro smirked knowingly.
"Sh-shut up moss brain!" Sanji snarled.
"Whatever, curly cook." Zoro snickered.
"So... tonight then." Sanji went back to squirming in his seat.
"Tonight." Zoro confirmed with a sly smile.
~!~
I know that this chapter wasn't as long as the others... but I HAD to stop it here for OBVIOUS reasons. Next chapter will be... you know... when I get it out. This will be the... second (?)... time I've actually written something so... well, you know. Have to be careful of my parents walking in while I'm in the middle of writing. They've done that a few times and it never ends pretty when one (almost always my dad) asks, "What are you writing?" and I have to explain it to him. Then he kind of gives me weird looks and leaves.
I'm also not sure when the next one will be up, but I'll have to work on that in a more organized manner. If you want to read my originals, I have an account on Fictionpress with the same username. ^^ I want to have those updated soon as well now that I am getting readers for my stories over there. It was rather barren for a while and nobody reviews! T.T Anyhow... look forward to the next update because I know I will be looking forward to the reviews for that one as well! ^^
Love you guys! ^*^
