Hey everyone! I've posted a new story called 'Every Step of the Way.' It's basically how I believe Toph and Sokka got together and he became Lin's father figure. I didn't realize it at the time but it can be seen as a prequel to this story. It fits the timeline and details I used for Trials, so just yeah check it out. And I've got a bunch of new stories planned, both ATLA and not, so please go vote on my profile for which ones you'd like to see soon!
Disclaimer: ATLA belongs to Bryke, not me.
Sokka cleared his throat and directed his poker face to her.
"Thank you for meeting with me, Suki. We need to talk."
Suki nodded and looked back at him.
Sokka looked at her-really looked at her- for the first time in years. He couldn't believe he was this close in proximity to her again. He just never thought he would see her again.
Memories flooded his mind as they had often been these past few weeks. He remembers all their late night talks of forming a family. of names for their kids, what their kids would possibly look like. Now in a way, it was a reality.
Fate was twisting them in such a manipulative and cruel way. It was far too late for these fantasies and dreams of youth. For them, anyway.
He drank some of his tea as she ordered a coffee from the waitress and stared back at him again. They were uncomfortably silent for a few minutes. It was not the angry, tense silence from last time they'd met, but it was full of tension and unspoken accusations nonetheless.
Finally, Suki signed and broke the dreaded silence. "So what made you change your mind about talking to me?"
The councilman swirled the tea in his cup and chose his words carefully. "I was, ashamed of how I acted that day. I was angry and should've controlled myself better. I've spent the last decade or so resenting you. I want to stop all of that. After I did some thinking, I knew it was the right thing to do," He glared at her slightly, but kept his voice cool and neutral. "And since you had my son and never bothered to tell me until now, I thought I had a right to ask about him."
The Kyoshi warrior looked down in shame and took in a deep breath. This was going to be harder than she'd ever imagined. Then again during the entire trip to the United Republic she'd created different scenarios of how she would inform Sokka of their son's existence. Blowing it up in his face and running away in a public park had not come to mind. She would have to be honest and take it as it comes.
"I'll start from the beginning," she promised. She smiled and thanked the waitress who brought her hot beverage and took a few sips before continuing her story.
"Just hear me out. Please?"
He reluctantly nodded and drank from his tea, signaling for her to get on with it.
"Okay. Well we already know why I left and we already fought about it, so there's no point in going into that. I'll start from after. That day after I left the city, I stayed in a hotel for the night in the outskirts of town. I was confused, heartbroken- I needed space to think of what I was going to do with my life. I called one of my friends back on Kyoshi. I explained that I left and wanted to come home. She told me the warriors would all be there for me, like the good old days. I packed up and took the train to Ba Sing Sei. Then from there I got a ship from the mainland and headed back to the island." A tear streamed down her face. Sokka closed his eyes and swallowed hard. This was painful for both of them. This was their punishment now for having buried these emotions for so long and never having confronted their problems.
"I was greeted by everyone in my town. They even gave my commander position back and started training the new Kyoshi girls who would take mine and my old team's place. I was on the village council. I moved in with Ty Lee and her family for a while. I was still hurt, and I missed you so much," she paused at the dark, pained look in his eyes but continued on. "But I was living my life again. I was, finding myself again. But two months later, everything changed," she croaked. "I was nauseous one day during training. I had to sit down while the girls practiced. I threw up, and I was late with my menstrual cycle. At first I thought it was only the stress and anxiety of such a significant change of environment in such little time. But then Ty Lee asked me when the last time I'd had sex was. I told her with you just before I left. I'll never forget that look she gave me- full of worry and sadness. I've never seen her like that before. She took me to the village healer to get checked out. The healer confirmed our suspicions- I was pregnant. She told me I was two months along." Tears were swimming in Suki's eyes as her hand trembled holding onto the coffee mug.
Sokka felt tears prick his eyes, but he would not cry in front of her. He'd shed enough tears over her.
"So," he said in a tight, quiet voice. "I was correct in my thinking. He was conceived that last night."
Suki nodded. "I hadn't taken any preventative tea in years. We'd tried for so long, but we never conceived. I never imagined it would happen our last time together. I was, shocked and scared. I was afraid. I loved my baby already, and I was finally going to be a mother. But you and I were no longer together. And I didn't know what to do. It was a very difficult year for me. But Ty Lee and the other Kyoshi Warriors helped me through so much, and cared for him and me. And Hakoda became my new reason for living." She smiled as she thought of her boy.
"So, why didn't you ever come before to tell me? If I had known you had my child, I would've gone after you. I deserved to know."
"I know, And I'm so, so sorry, Sokka. But I was afraid. I was afraid you wouldn't give me a chance to tell you. I was afraid you'd accuse me of getting pregnant to hurt you and hold onto you. Our break up was still too recent, too bitter, and I-"
"You were scared I'd want nothing to do with him or you, because you hurt me. Is that it?" he questioned. This time, however, his voice was not full of anger- it was full of pain. "We were together for fifteen years, since the war ended. You knew how badly I wanted a child with you. I thought you knew me better than that. Even if you'd told me and still didn't want to be with me anymore, I'd never reject my own child. What kind of asshole do you think I am? I would've helped you raise him. I would've been there for you both."
"I know. And I'm so sorry, Sokka." Tears cascaded down her cheeks. "I was young, and stupid. I was angry with you. You'd changed so much, I didn't know what to believe. Now I know it was a terrible mistake. One I'll regret for the rest of my life."
"So, why now? You told me Hakoda's thirteen. Why now? Why not years ago?"
"Recently, I, I had a dream. Hakoda has been asking about you for years, and he recently started learning about you in school. He asked me if you'd want him. That hurt, but I couldn't find the courage to seek you out. But a few weeks ago, I had a dream. A spirit convinced me. You probably won't believe me, but I'll tell you anyway."
They'd done it. It was brutal and messy, and Toph was limping slightly, but they'd done it. The staged meet up had gone well and Yongo and Kauz were now in police custody.
Toph redid her bun to look professional and sighed. Apparently Kauz had used some type of hand signal used frequently in the Triad to signify when the police were hot on their heels. It was something fairly new, for Yakone's organization had never used such a thing.
The police had attacked instantly when Yongo and Kauz had begun to run away. Yongo had turned out to be a very strong earthbender. He'd injured a few officers and went toe to toe with Beifong for a while. He caught her offguard and plummeted her into a satomobile. She was not too injured, sans for a slight limp. Her armor had actually protected her quite well.
That little bitch can't mess with me, she thought proudly.
Ton Li entered her office. "Chief, the new Triad is ready in interrogation for you."
She walked, using her bending to support her weight. "Let's do this, Lieutenant!" she yelled, being very eager to bash Yongo's face in.
The lieutenant groaned and shook his head.
He was probably going to have to call someone to remodel the floor of the interrogation room- again.
Suki launched into her tale, and her mind wandered back to that fateful night.
It had been an exhausting night of training with the teenage girls of the village. Suki was exhausted, and it did not help that her son had plagued her with questions as soon as she'd returned to their home.
"Mom," young Hakoda had said. "We're learning in school about, the United Republic, and its founders.
Suki froze as she was wiping off her war paint. Oh spirits, no please not this again-
"And we talked about how its government was formed. The teacher told us about Councilman Sokka, and how his brilliant reforms to old Earth Kingdom and Fire Nation law codes made the council so successful. During the presentation, Miss Lu Ming showed us some photos of Republic City and its leaders. When we saw a picture of Sokka, some kids started saying I look like him," the boy said quietly. "And one kid asked if he was related to me. They know you used to be married to him, so I told them he was my dad. They all started laughing and asked why I wasn't in Republic City with him then? And why I'd never met him. I just, I want to know, Mom. Would he want me?" Tears welled in the young teen's eyes.
The Kyoshi woman felt guilt course through her as it had for years. All his life, she'd told Hakoda about his father- but not allowing him to meet Sokka was cruel, and she knew that. But she wasn't prepared to face her ex again. And she was afraid his reaction to Hakoda's existence might hurt the boy. She hugged her boy tightly.
"Don't listen to them. They don't know our situation. They're just jealous that you're the son of such important people." She looked at her baby. 'Of course he'd love you, Hakoda. He's a good man. Things just happen that we can't control."
"Then why can't I meet him? He's my father, but you've never let me even meet him!" the boy yelled in frustration.
"I don't know how he will react to you, honey, and I don't want anyone to be hurt," she explained gently.
The boy looked down. "Too late," he whispered as he silently went to his room and shut the door.
Suki cried herself to sleep, again feeling the unbearable guilt. Near midnight, when the moon was at its peak in the sky, she finally managed to fall into a restless sleep.
The Kyoshi woman mysteriously found herself standing in a swamp like place. There were tall, gray trees with thick leaves that obscured her vision all around her. The ground was soft and warm under her bare feet. There was a thick fog everywhere in her peripheral vision. The moon was shining brightly overhead in the dark, starless sky. Suki was stunned.
"Where am I? Is this a dream?" she questioned frantically as she touched her face.
"Yes and no. It depends upon how you perceive it," said an angelic voice softly.
Suki turned and was shocked at the sight before her.
Floating in front of her, basking in the moonlight was the most beautiful and purest being she'd ever laid eyes on. The being before her was dressed in a white regalia type gown that flowed down her and gracefully floated in the night air. The being had the face of a teenage girl, no older than sixteen, yet seemed wise beyond her years. The girl had hair whiter and more pure than any snow and was pulled up slightly in a traditional, royal wear, with the rest of the lovely white locks adorning her pretty face and flowing gracefully around her. She seemed to have a pale tan that radiated in the spirit light. Her hands were slender and seemed to pose no threat. The girl's face was beautiful- almost the pinnacle of perfection. She had wide, kind and loving deep sapphire eyes that vibrated with wisdom and compassion. Those were the most beautiful blue eyes she'd ever seen, except for one pair. Their deep pools of blue sparkled in the moon light. The girl's face was flawless and beautiful in creation. Her round, heart shaped face and small nose adorned her kind and patient smile. The entire being glowed ethereally, yet there was no intimidation; her presence brought with it a comfort and balance.
Suki could only look in awe at the spirit girl before her. Several long moments passed, as the smiling spirit and stunned warrior woman took each other in. Finally, Suki broke the silence. "W-who are you? And where am I?"
The girl spoke, her voice gently and soothing in a way Suki had never experienced.
"I am the spirit of the moon. I keep balance within the world with the spirit of the ocean. Tui and La. Push and pull. Ying and yang. We balance until the end of time. And you are in a dream away from the physical world. But in a realm close to the spirit world, Suki." She smiled at the woman. "Don't be afraid."
Suki looked at her in shock. "Wait, how do you know my name? You seem familiar, why do I feel as if I know you? Forgive me, great spirit, I mean not to offend, I simply-"
The spirit cut her off. "Relax. No offense is taken. This is difficult for any mortal to comprehend. I would know, after all."
Suki looked at her. "You were human?"
A deep pain crossed the spirit's eyes. "Yes. I was once the princess of the Northern Water Tribe. But when I was born, I was very ill. My mother and father took me to the spirit oasis. The moon spirit gave me life. When the war reached my home, an evil man killed the moon spirit. As was always my destiny, I gave that life back. I became the moon spirit to restore natural balance to the world. As the avatar does, I protect the natural world. And I do believe you know me, in a way. My name was Yue."
It all clicked in Suki's mind and her eyes widened. She remembered that story from that awful play they watched on Ember Island during the war-that scene of Sokka kissing a princess who became the moon. She also remembered what Sokka had told her of his romance with the Northern Princess.
She looked to a patient Yue, her eyes softening. "Now I understand. It's an honor to meet you, Princess. What you did for the world and for your tribe was very selfless and brave," she told her. "Sokka always spoke of you. He always reserved a special place in his heart for you."
Yue smiled. "It is an honor to meet you as well." Her face fell to a serious expression. "But I came for another purpose. We do not have much time. Now, first I must thank you for all you did for Sokka. After I gave my life, he was very reserved and in pain. You brought him back. You taught him to open his heart and to love deeply without limits. You were a great influence on making him the great man he became. Words can never describe how grateful I am."
Suki was on the verge of tears. "But I didn't fight hard enough for our love. We haven't been together in years. I know I-"
"It's alright, Suki. Some people are meant to come into our lives for a short time to love us, teach us an important lesson and make us happy. Thus was my case with Sokka. Others are meant to stay for a long period of time and share some of our most important life experiences. And sometimes fate dictates for those two people to find their destinies elsewhere. While they part, they are always carrying something from each other. They are meant to be forever changed by the other's imprints on their life. Such was yours and Sokka's case." She paused as she watched the warrior relax slightly. "Though for you, I believe you were also carrying something from him you never expected."
"How did you know?"
"I'm the moon spirit, Suki. I'm always watching over my friends, and seeing what goes on in their lives. I've watched how Sokka suffered with your departure. I saw how you struggled to raise your son alone. You have done a noble job. But I came here tonight to talk a bit of sense into you. Don't you think maybe it's time for Sokka to know he has a child?"Suki froze, eyes blurred with tears. So many emotions going through her- fear, pain, guilt, anger, love. She was so confused.
"I can't," she whispered. "We parted on such bad terms. I never planned to get pregnant when I left. I was so hurt, and so was he. I was afraid, Yue. So afraid. And all this time, I know my son wants to meet him. But I just can't do it. I don't want this to end in pain and heartache-"
"For who, Suki?" whispered Yue. "For your son, or for you?"
Suki fell silent.
Yue continued. "I understand this is difficult. But as you, Sokka has been suffering the heartache and regret of how you two parted for many years. He has now moved on with his life, but a part of him cannot let go of what was. It is very similar to how he could not let go of me for a long time after I became the moon spirit. A part of him is empty. The fates had you conceive when you did, so your son could be the mediator between Sokka and yourself. It was no accident. It was to remind you to release past resentment and to not loose the precious things you received from one another. Your time together ended, but your pain and anger has obscured you both from holding onto the meaningful lessons and influence from each other. Your son is the product of your love. He is living proof of how much you loved each other, and embodies all of what you lived together, of how you made each other better human beings. Hakoda comes from the best of you two. You need to be brave, Suki. Your son also feels empty without a father's influence. He loves you very much. You are a wonderful mother. But he also needs a calm, strong wisdom to help guide him into adulthood- one only his father can provide. This is your opportunity, my friend."
Suki was now sobbing. "What if things go wrong? What if we can't stand to be around each other, and he wants nothing to do with us?"
"You and I both know Sokka is a good man. He would never turn you and your child away. I loved him with my entire being, Suki. I fell in love with him because of his loving soul and kind heart. He has changed many times in his life, but his morals and beliefs have not. The core of his soul hasn't either. Do not be afraid. Sokka would never abandon a child, especially not now."
The other woman looked surprised. "What do you mean now?"
"You'll know," came the spirit's reply. "It is fated for you two to meet again. Be strong and trust in the fates, Suki. They do what is best. I must go now. But never forget my words. It is an essential part of your life to make peace with the past. Only then will you heal. Only then will you restore balance in your life. Goodbye, Suki." Yue gave her one last warm smile before she vanished into the air, into the moon's beaming rays.
"Yue, wait! Please, what am I supposed to say? What-"
A breeze of wind passed by and she heard a whisper in her ear.
Trust the fates, Suki. And have faith.
The Kyoshi Warrior wiped her tears and nodded. A new, bold resolve began to brim in her heart as the foggy surroundings faded away and she regained consciousness once more.
Suki concluded her story and held her breath as she waited for a reaction from Sokka. This was hard enough for her, but she couldn't even imagine how he must be feeling.
Sokka sat frozen and allowed the tears to pour out of his eyes. His eyes were dark and glazed in pain and aching longing. Suki felt her heart rip at the sight. The last thing she wanted was to cause him further pain. She only gave him what he wanted- the truth.
"Yue spoke to you," he replied shakily wiping his eyes. "And told you it was fate? And that's why you're here?"
Suki did not meet his eyes as she nodded.
Sokka couldn't take it.
Is fate trying to rip my heart out? Not only do I have to face the heartache from Suk'si leaving again, and that she didn't tell me about my kid- now on top of being afraid of hurting Toph, I have to be told Yue wants this to happen? Agni, are you punishing me by having every woman I've loved in this twisted situation?
He looked around the diner, noticing a few people staring at the two of them. He composed himself and wiped his eyes. He took a deep breath and promised himself he could let out his emotions later when he was alone.
"Okay. Thank you for telling me. Why don't we try to do what Yue wanted? Let's try to, make amends?" he offered slowly.
Suki raised her lavender eyes to him and gave a small smile. "I'd like that."
"Okay. So, why don't you tell me more about Hakoda? What's he like? What does he look like, do you happen to have a photo with you? Where's he at now?"
"Well, he's amazing,' she said with the first truly genuine smile he'd seen from her."He's always been a very intelligent kid, even as a young child. He's very creative and very stubborn, like you," she teased. "He's calm and collected like me. He's a non-bender, and he has so much potential to be a warrior. I've been training him with the katana and taught him the Kyoshi technique I taught you. Ty Lee has been teaching him how to use chi blocking and he's picking that up quickly. He's brave and determined. He never gives up and cares a lot about his friends. He's very spirited. And I don't have a picture with me right now. But physically, he," she hesitated, looking into Sokka's eyes, smiling slightly. "He looks just like you, Sokka."
Sokk marveled at how incredible his son already was just from the description. And he was caught off guard by her last comment. "Huh?"
She laughed. "He does. Hakoda is the spitting image if you, Sokka. That's another reason why I named him after your father. He has your eyes. He has your strong jaw and proud smirk. He looks like you did during the war. You'll see what I mean when you meet him. But he has my hair and my cheek bones, and his skin is a little darker than mine. And he went out to lunch with an old friend I still have here- she's showing him around the city."
Sokka made mental notes of what she told him.
He looks like me?
Wait...when I meet him?
"So, what have you told him about me?"
"I've always told him you're his father. I told him you were a councilman here in Republic City and you were a renowned swordsman. I told him about everyone in the group, and all about our adventures during the war, about our marriage. I," her eyes went dark with sadness. "I didn't give him much detail about how we ended. Just that it didn't work out and I was pregnant after I'd left. But he knows you're a good man, and he really wants to meet you," she added gently, placing a hand on his larger one as a sign of comfort.
Sokka stiffened at the contact. He wasn't sure how to feel about it-it was comforting, warm, but felt completely wrong. She used to do that when they were together whenever something was bothering him.
An image of Toph flashed in his mind and he discreetly removed his hand and feigned drinking his tea.
Suki was slightly hurt, but then reminded herself that he was taken.
He's with Toph now. I'm only here for my boy to meet him.
"When can I meet him?" he finally asked.
Suki bit her lip. "This weekend, perhaps. Call me this week, same number, and we'll set it up?"
Sokka nodded. "Works for me. Um, thank you for this, Suki. You don't know how much it means to me. But, I should go. I have to go pick up L- I mean take care of something with the council! I'll see you soon."
He got on his feet, left some yuans on the table for the waitress, and rushed out of the diner.
Suki pensively looked at her mug. She may not have Toph's seismic sense, but she knew Sokka well enough to know when he was lying. He may not have told her and didn't want her to know, but she knew.
She'd heard the gossip and rumors on the ship coming to the United Republic. Everyone knows Sokka is not only in a serious relationship with Republic City's police chief, he's also raising her daughter. Everyone spoke of how noble he was in stepping in and helping his best friend after her no good ex abandoned her during the pregnancy.
They gushed about how sweet it was that he helped Toph through her time of need and Toph filled a void in him after his messy divorce, and that's how they fell in love. She also heard people speak about how much the councilman loved little Lin Beifong and treated her like his own daughter.
Suki sighed sadly as she too left the restaurant deep in thought.
He already has a family now. This is what I was afraid of. How will Hakoda have the time he's always wanted with his father, if Sokka is already raising Toph's daughter?
This won't end well.
As Sokka stood on the ferry heading to Air Temple Island to pick up Lin, his mind raced with thought of his son. Suki's words stuck out in his mind.
He's very creative and very stubborn, like you.
Hakoda is, practically your spitting image, Sokka. He has your eyes.
I've always told him you're his father.
He really wants to meet you.
The tribesman was so lost in his own thoughts that he didn't even realize he was at the doorway of the temple until he saw Lin walking towards him with her school bag, saying goodbye to Bumi and Tenzin as she came. Since Kya was at the Fire Embassy hanging out with Ursa, Katara was at a waterbending combat class she taught in the afternoons and Aang was at a meeting with an ambassador from Omashu, the Air Acolytes were watching the kids. Lin looked concerned when she noticed Sokka's dazed, distant, almost pained expression.
Sokka hugged Lin and wrapped an arm around her shoulders as they walked back to the ferry to get home. How he hated that his sister lived on an island.
"What's up Linny? How was school?" He did his best to smile genuinely and seem fine. The kid was too perceptive for her own good, and she couldn't even sense when someone was lying yet.
"Fine." she muttered. She'd told no one about the strange figure watching her at school the other day- she assumed it was a prank or something, and yet, a weird panic filled her. But she did not want to further worry her parents. They had enough on their plates as it is.
They walked in silence until they arrived home and Sokka began making dinner while Lin did her homework. Toph was wrapping up her Triad case so wouldn't be home until later that night.
Lin and Sokka ate in silence, each lost in their own thoughts. Toph's absence from dinner only added to the awkward silence.
Lin moved the pasta around on her plate. "When's Mama coming home?"
Sokka took a sip of his beverage and glanced at the clock on the kitchen wall.
"It's a quarter to eight now, she'll be here by 8:30. I already have a plate ready for her. She's probably trying to wrap up her case."
The girl nodded in understanding and ate slowly.
Once Sokka finished a few minutes later and cleared the table, he looked at Lin who had barely eaten half of her dinner.
He set his dishes in the sink and came over, taking a seat next to her. "What's the matter, kiddo? You don't want pasta? I've got some left over dumplings and-"
"No, it's fine, Sokka, really. I- I'm just worried about you and Mom," she confessed. The young earthbender couldn't take it anymore.
The father's face became concerned. He gently wrapped his arms around his child's shoulders and gently turned her to face him. "What's wrong, kiddo? Come on, it's me your dad. You can tell me anything, right? I know I'm not your mama, but I can still help if you give me a chance."
The child opened up to him. "Mama's working so hard on her Triad case and I'm always scared someone might hurt or kill her. Like the bloodbender last year, Sokka. You, Mama and Uncle Aang almost died! I never see her anymore, she's always working and she's always tired. And you've been all quiet and distant. You've been upset about everytihng. I miss you guys. I like hanging out with Tenzin at the island, and I love Aunt Katara, but I want to be home with you and Mom! I just want to not be alone anymore and worried." Tears welled in her jade eyes.
Sokka's heart sank. Once again, he cursed himself. He pulled his child into a hug and rubbed her back as his own father did to him as a child.
He winced slightly. How many times did Hakoda need a father's comfort, and I wasn't there for him? He needed a hug, a pat on the back, a kind word. Advice only a man can give him.
He mentally kicked himself as Lin cried into his shoulder. I need to stop lamenting myself. This isn't about Hakoda, it's about Lin. She's my child, too. I've been so busy lately feeling sorry for myself and trying to talk to Suki, I've been neglecting Lin. Way to go Sokka, you colosal douchebag.
"Linny, I'm so sorry you feel this way. We love you so much, you mean everything to your mother and I. But your mom is out there every day trying to protect the city, for you. She wants it to be safe for you. Since Yakone's trial she's made sure to double her own secuirty and take backup anywhere so there isn't a repeat of last time. She knows how much it hurt you. She's almost done with this Triads group, but we need to be on top of everything. And while the other city leaders have your mom so on top of this case, I really have no excuse," he lamented, pulling away and setting his hands on her shoulders. "I've been busy trying to reform and reorganize the council, and other matters," he stated hesitantly. He couldn't tell her yet. "But I should've paid attention to your feelings more. You're our child, not my sister's. You should come home with me, not to the island every day. I promise I'll do better. I'll cut back more on my time at City Hall and I'll start picking you up more, we'll go visit your mom, and we'll even go to a pro-bending match soon." He smiled when he saw the comment get an excited grin from the teary eyed Beifong.
"I love you, Linny, and I'm sorry I've been such a bad father to you lately. But I'll make it up to you."
Lin hugged him again and told him, "Thanks Sokka. I love you, too. And you're not a bad dad. You're the best father I could have, because you're my dad."
Sokka chuckled and kissed her forehead, telling her yo finish eating while he heated up Toph's dinner, for she would be arriving soon.
As he went through his tasks, immeasureable guilt weighed his heart.
If he told his family, who knows how they'll react. They'd never be the same again. But he did want to make amends with Suki and fulfill his fatherly duty to his son.
What was the right thing to do?
He sighed quietly and ran a hand down his face.
I thought the worst was over and things would finally go smoothly for me. I'd marry Toph without a problem, keep raising Lin, forget my fear of pain for marriage, and it would all work out fine.
A sense of irony overcame him.
The universe still just loves to prove me wrong, doesn't it?
That's a wrap! Please review and tell me what you think and what you may want to see happen in future chapter :)
Sorry for the lack of Tokka goodness- this was a filler chapter/explanation of the plot. Expect some fluffy Tokka moments next chapter!
