JetravenEx: No, it might be very quick but writing it won't! Gotta have the baku wiki open checking ability cards, go back make sure I haven't suddenly given Sky a new ability card. There's the question of keeping things consistent damn it!
Masquerade: Most just forgo it.
JetravenEx: Yeah, most people forgo brawls in general, I mean brawlers participating in brawls pfft why on earth would they do that. Granted, it is better to forgo it if its not needed in the story or they end up being really crappy. You can't just write down g powers and changes, we want to see (read) some descriptions of Hydranoid taking a chomp out of Sky's wing and Sky giving him a tail whip to the face. Which actually hurts a lot more than a pokemon's tail whip.
Mike: Jeez you people are violent
JetravenEx: Death battle is popular for a reason. Second only to shipping characters, is watching characters prove who's stronger. Add that the battles are vicious, violent and a bit gory makes it fun too.

Chapter 70
Skylord was thrown through the air so fast that her ball form whistled through the air before slamming into the gate card with a thud. As soon as she impacted she burst open and a flash of purple light heralded the dragoness's appearance. She spread her four wings wide and threw back her head and roared.
'Darkus Skylord recognized at 440 gs.' The bakupod reported.
Skylord lowered her head and glared at Masquerade her red eyes flashing with rage. "I don't know what's gotten into you if you think you can hurt Jet and kill Mantris without any consequences." She snorted dark sparks of energy flickering around her snout. "Send out your bakugan." She snarled.
Masquerade didn't respond merely lifted his shooter. "Hydranoid, lets make this quick, we have more important things to get to." He said as his bakugan popped closed and jumped into the shooter. "Bakugan Brawl!" Masquerade shouted before punching forwards his shooter firing Dual Hydranoid onto the gate card with Skylord.
Darkness appeared over the ball form, moving like the form was melting in reverse the form of Hydranoid took shape until the two headed beast with the wicked saw blade in the middle faced off against Skylord. The two heads licked their chops as they faced the dragoness.
'Dual Hydranoid enters at 480 gs.'
"Hehehe, I'm going to enjoy this." The head on the right said as the other one growled. "Prepare for your destruction!" He snarled before he rushed at Skylord.
Skylord snarled as she spread her wings and flew over him, the two heads snapping up at her trying to take a bite out of the dragoness. Pulling her wings and appendages close Skylord darted away from his snapping teeth, Hydranoid hissing in frustration at his failure to catch her, he turned to follow her movements.
The two headed hydra had the disadvantage of being slower than Skylord who while in the air could maneuver and turn on a dime while the hydra had to take time to turn himself around to her. Thus giving Skylord plenty of time to take advantage of getting behind him and whip her tail at his faces.
She grinned viciously as her tail made contact with the head closest to her, the head reeling back with a grunt. However while that one took the hit the other head lunged forwards to grab her tail in his jaws making the dragoness cry out in pain before ripping her tail free from his maw. She drew back tail curling protectively closer to her now with vicious streaks of blood lining it from where it had been chomped and torn free. Snarling she hissed at Hydra who snorted and bared his teeth in a toothy grin.
"Didn't you know. Two heads are better than one!" The two heads jeered before they rushed at Skylord once more.
Skylord dodged out of the way with ease spreading her wings and flying high out of his reach before she threw a glance at Jet who nodded.
"Gate card open!" Jet cried pointing at her gate card. "Character card activate!"
Skylord grinned as her power doubled putting her at 880 gs. "Lets see your two dimwitted brains handle this!" She hissed as threw back her head and gathered dark energy in her maw then with a roar she fired off the dark blast of energy at Hydranoid.
The attack impacted shrouding the area with darkness and smoke from the attack Skylord eyeing the area.
"Adios you two headed creep." Skylord said arms folded as she waited for the brawl to end.
Only it didn't, Skylord's eyes narrowed as she dropped lower to the ground ready to attack at any moment, she glanced around trying to look through the smoke to see Hydranoid or Masquerade.
Jet frowned as well tilting her head. 'What's going on, I didn't hear Masquerade throw anything out, and I can't see him or Hydranoid what's going on?' She squinted towards where Masquerade was as the smoke began to clear, Jet catching sight of a familiar reflective mask and a very dangerous smirk on its owners face, and a glowing card in his hand…
Jet's eyes widened as her head snapped towards her bakugan. "SKYLORD LOOK OUT!"
Skylord blinked and turned to her. "What do you-? AHH!" She cried out as two clawed hands grabbed onto her one grabbing her side, the other grabbing a wing, claws digging into the fragile appendage. Screeching skylord swung her free wing at Hydra swinging her tail and punching out with her free claw as she was dragged into Hydranoid's arms. Skylord's eyes narrowed as she was pressed up against his chest the two heads peering down at her, his saw blade biting into her scaley armor that protected her belly.
'Grand Down recognized, Skylord at 440 gs. Dual Hydranoid at 480 gs.'
"You are a very beautiful dragoness." One head murmured lowering to nuzzle against her cheek Skylord flinching back eyes wide in alarm, only for the other one to move to do the same."Join us! You could be our queen. And rule beside us when we take over."
Skylord stared at him incredulously, "Sorry the bad breath and evilness are a bit of a turnoff!" She spat. "So my answer is, IN YOUR DREAMS!" She shouted as she sent a punch at the closest head catching it in the snout.
Hydranoid sighed shaking his uninjured head. "How foolish."
"Jet! Give me a boost!" Skylord cried still struggling to pull free.
Jet nodded. "Ability Activate! Chaos Dragon!"
Skylord drew her head back and gathered the dark energy in her maw. "Better let me go," She said as she charged up her attack.
'Darkus Skylord power increase to 540 gs.'
Hydranoid grinned down at her. "And why should I do that?" He asked before glancing towards Masquerade. "Master?"
Masquerade grinned. "Ability Activate! Destruction Grind!"
Jet's eyes widened. "What?! But that's not possible Hydra doesn't get that until!" She trailed off as the saw blade on Hydranoid's chest started up with a whine. Hydranoid laughed as he pulled Skylord against the blade, the blade digging into her chest.
Skylord's eyes widened to the point they looked like they were about to pop out. "AGHHH!" The dragoness cried out her attack dying in her maw as the dragoness howled in agony from the pain of the saw blade.
'Massive power decrease detected, Skylord at 400 gs, 350 gs, 300 gs.'
Jet's eyes widened. "At this rate her g power's going to drop to zero!" She gasped Reaper bouncing up and down on her shoulder.
"Do something Mistress Jet!" He shouted as Skylord howled louder, the two hydranoid heads cackling as the dragoness writhed and strained in their grasp as the blade continued to bite into her chest. Jet's eyes widened as cracks began to appear in the gem in Skylord's chest.
'That's not good! I have to reverse that ability card.' Without another thought Jet tore into her deck and grabbed the ability card she needed. "Ability activate! Double Dimension!" She cried relief flooding her as the saw blade began to slow her card glowing brightly. Then the card flickered and then lost its glow entirely, and the whine of the saw blade kicked back up once more. "Wha-What?!" Jet cried eyes wide as she looked to Masquerade who was grinning and holding a glowing card up.
"Hmm, too bad, seems we both used the same ability and it canceled each other out." Jet's breath caught in her throat as Masquerade shrugged his shoulders. "Seems your Skylord's done for."
Jet's eyes widened as she turned her head to look at her partner her mind racing trying to think of a way to save her partner. Her hands went up to her head, fingers digging into her scalp as she shook her head vigorously. "No, no no! Skylord!"
'Skylord at 100 gs, 50 gs, 0 gs…'
Skylord cried out before she slumped over Hydra's blade slowing down as a doom portal opened up behind her. "No, no way." She growled her body shaking as the dragoness weakly raised a claw moving it like she was trying to slash at Hydranoid. "I can't, can't…" Her arm dropped and she slumped over Hydranoid laughing.
"Yes, you can't defeat us." Hydranoid said. "And now you're going on a long vacation, to the doom dimension!" Hydranoid said as he grabbed Skylord by her wings and he spun around with her in his grasp before he hurled her into the portal.
"SKYLORD!" Jet cried reaching for her partner as the dragoness was sent flying into the portal.
Skylord opened one eye weakly. "Jet, Jet. Don't… Let… Them… Win." She rasped before she closed her eyes and disappeared into the portal. Jet's eyes widening in horror and tears pricking her eyes as the girl dropped to her knees.
"Skylord, SKYLORD!" Jet wailed punching the ground in anger, tears streaming down her face. 'I failed you! Oh Sky I'm sorry! I should've been smarter! Please, Please forgive me!' Jet sniffed and held back a sob as she remained on her knees on her side of the field.
Across the battle field Masquerade held up his hand to catch Hydranoid. "This battle isn't over my dear Jet." He told her grinning. "In fact, I'm only getting started. Bakugan Brawl." He shouted. "Hydranoid stand once again!" He ordered as the bakugan ball landed on his gate card.
Hydranoid appeared with a roar chuckling. "Who shall be my next victim?" He asked. "The dragoness was fun, but Im ready for more!" The two heads said sneering at Jet who slowly lifted her head to look at them and Masquerade.
Jet clenched her fists and narrowed her eyes gritting her teeth. "You're going to pay for that!" Jet roared as she reached for Reaper and grabbed him.
"Wait Jet you need to think strategically else-" He was cut off as Jet back her arm. Jet's eyes were wild and her face twisted in an expression of rage.
"BAKUGAN BRAWL! ATTACK REAPER!" Jet ordered as she hurled him out at Hydranoid. Reaper's ball form hit one of Hydranoid's snout making the Hydra snort but otherwise not react as Reaper bounced off and landed on Hydra's gate card.
Reaper sighed as he appeared before Hydranoid. This was not going to go well, his mistress was not in her right mind, having gone into an outraged state at losing Skylord, she only wanted Masquerade to regret what he'd done, and that meant Jet had gone all out attack mode, and had carelessly pitted Reaper against the two headed beast.
Reaper glared up at Dual Hydranoid as he swung his scythe and planting the end of the staff in the ground the wicked blade glinting in the light. He doubted his chances of victory but he wouldn't let the beast know that.
Reaper enters at 400 gs.
Dual Hydranoid snorted. "You pit this has been against me?" the other head laughed. "You must have a death wish!"
Reaper growled. "Stop talking," He snarled.
Masquerade laughed. "I don't even need to activate any ability cards to defeat you, but since I want to speed things up I'll do this." He pointed to the gate card. "Gate Card open!" He ordered.
The gate card flashed.
"Third Judgement!" Masquerade shouted.
A barrier erupted between Dual Hydranoid and Reaper.
"Now this means the battle can't start till there's three bakugan on the battlefield. So Jet, I'll let you even the odds a bit."
Jet growled. "Oh I'll even the odds. Brawl Hydra!" Jet said Hydranoid looking confused a moment as Jet whipped out her next bakugan, it popped open to reveal her darker colored hornless Hydranoid. In a storm of dark energy the previous evolution of Dual Hydranoid rose up. It hissed at Dual Hydranoid as it stood beside Reaper.
Reaper and Hydranoid combined power level of 800 gs.
"Now you're in for it!" Jet shouted. "Watch as I nail your hydranoid to the wall!" She cried as she pulled out an ability card. "Ability Activate! Chaos of the Darkness!" She shouted hurling it at her Hydra.
Hydra roared as she unleashed the barrage of blasts at Hydranoid.
Reaper and Hydra at 900 gs.
Dual Hydranoid chuckled. "Its funny to be on the other end of that attack." He mused.
"Ready Hydranoid?" Masquerade asked looking at his bakugan who grunted as the blasts hit him though he barely flinched.
Dual Hydranoid nodded. "Of course."
Reaper suppressed the urge to swallow. If Jet had been smart and hadn't given into her desire to make Masquerade and Dual Hydranoid hurt she'd have realized that if she hadn't activated anything Reaper and Hydra could've won with ease! Now Masquerade could use one of his many tricks to annihilate them.
"Time to end this! Ability Activate! Dual Gazer!" Masquerade shouted as he threw out the ability card.
Jet snorted. "What good will that do?! It only adds 50 gs to your bakugan. Hydra! Reaper get him!"
Dual Hydranoid at 530 gs.
Hydra roared as she continued to fire off her barrage of dark blasts at Dual Hydranoid as Reaper reluctantly rushed in slashing at the two headed beast with his scythe.
Dual Hydranoid merely caught Reaper's Scythe and ignored Hydra's blasts. "Time to finish this." He growled as the energy gathered in his two maws.
Masquerade chuckled. "You're just as foolish as I remember," He said Jet blinking and looking at him. "Throwing out Skylord in hopes of taking out my Dual Hydranoid right away, and then going into a frenzy when she actually gets sent to the doom dimension this time." He grinned. "Now as we arrive to the ending of this battle, you still think you've got me beat, you still forget that I am the best for a reason. Because while together your two bakugan reign at a might 900 gs, alone both of them will fall to the might of my Dual Hydranoid's two strikes!"
Jet's eyes widened and her heart sank with realization. 'Tha-that's right, Dual Gazer lets Dual Hydranoid attack two bakugan! Then that means!' "NO! Reaper! Hydra!" But there was nothing she could do. She'd already used up her Double Dimension ability card and she had no other trick to stop this attack. She turned to Masquerade. "Please! Don't do this!" She begged dropping to knees. "Please Masquerade! Don't be like this!
Masquerade tilted his head smirking. "Sunk to begging now? Well its too late, I gave you the chance to surrender, to recognize me as your better. But no, you wanted to 'fix' me. Too bad for you, I don't need you to 'fix' me sweetheart, and I've grown tired of you and your annoying prattle. Hydranoid," The Darkus bakugan looked back at him. "End it."
Jet held back a sob as the two headed beast grinned.
"Goodbye once again Reaper and you pitiful carbon copy!" Dual Hydranoid laughed as he fired off his attacks.
To Jet the blasts seemed to move in slow motion. She tried to understand where she'd gone wrong, and how she could've possibly failed to snap Masquerade out of it. A sob escaped her as Hydra was hit the hydranoid wailing in pain as she was sent flying and thrown into a Doom portal, which remained open, eager to take Reaper back within its dark and grim clutches once more. Jet's heart clenched. She'd failed, not just Skylord, Reaper and Hydra, who'd suffered from her hastiness. But Masquerade as well.
Reaper grunted as he took the blast square in the chest. He grunted as he was thrown back he lashed out with his scythe burying it into the ground. The darkus bakugan struggled to fight the pull of the doom portal at his back.
Dual Hydranoid sneered down at him. "Do you wish. To beg you weakling?"
Reaper tilted his head up to look at the beast before he glanced at Dual Hydranoid before he looked to Jet. "No, I will not bow to you or Masquerade. Ever. Again." Reaper said pulling his scythe out of the ground accepting his fate as he let the doom dimension suck him in.
Jet broke down into sobs hunching over as she buried her face in her hands. "No! Skylord! Reaper! Hydra! Come back!" She wailed sniffling and sobbing as she rocked herself slightly.
She could vaguely hear the sound of Dual Hydranoid reverting and prepared for reality to take over once more. She wondered how the JJ dolls would react when they heard that she'd lost, that she'd failed to stop Masquerade, to set him straight, and the world was going to suffer for her failure.
"Oh god stop sniveling like a goddamned baby." A dark voice spoke from above her.
Jet moved to look up when Masquerade grabbed the front of her shirt and hauled her up so they were eye to eye… Mask to eye really.
"Look at you." Masquerade said with a snort his lip curling in disgust. "I can't believe I even thought you were worth a second of my time. That I even regarded you as a friend." He shook his head. "Pathetic. I'm disappointed, in myself for thinking such a thing."
Jet drew up her shambled courage and glared at him. "I'm not pathetic," She spat. "I-"
SLAP!
Jet's eyes widened in confusion as Masquerade backhanded her, her head snapping to the side tears welling up in her eyes in pain as her cheek began to sting.
"Shut up. I'm sick of you. Just looking at you reminds me of my foolishness, I said I was going to put you in your place." He said Jet's eyes widening as a portal to the doom dimension opened beside them. "Too bad for you, the only place fitting for trash like you… Is the doom dimension."
Jet gasped eyes widening as she took in the dark portal at her side. She struggled clawing at his hand and kicking out at him with her feet.
Masquerade smiled her attacks doing nothing as his free hand moved to grab the girl by the throat Jet gagging going limp as her air was cut off. "Goodbye forever Jet Raynet," He said as he turned so Jet's back was to the portal. "I won't remember you." He said before he shoved her into the portal.
The instant he pushed her it was like time had frozen Jet's hands were flailing unsure where to move as she found herself falling backwards all too slowly. Then the pull of the doom portal grabbed her and a scream was wrenched from her throat as Jet clawed at thin air trying to escape its pull. But it was futile as the cruel gravity of the portal dragged her in and down, down into the dark grim world of the doom dimension.
The portal snapped shut behind Jet leaving Masquerade standing alone on the field.
The masked blond heaved a sigh smiling slightly as he rolled his shoulders. "Ah so good to have that done." The battlefield faded around him. "Now to send another message to the brawlers." He heaved a mock sigh. "So many fools to dispose of, so little time."
Then Masquerade threw back his head and laughed wickedly as reality formed back around him.

Jet and her bakugan have been banished to the DOOM DIMENSION! Whatever will we do?!
Anyways. Really looking back the past 3 chapters could've been a whole chapter it just, with college it was hard to get out updates, and these 3 were particularly stubborn. But they're done. And now well crap's happened.
Admittedly after skylord got beat the battle got pretty rushed. So sorry bout that.
Well I've updated, probably shocked the hell out of everyone. So review and tell me what you think. I really want to know.
