"So we have an hour before lab. I don't think it will be long." Rue pointed out as they filed out of the lecture hall. They sat by benches near the classroom where they would meet for lab.

"Yeah. Wiress will teach it." Prim said checking her schedule and the class web page. "I think physics will be fun. At first I thought it would be boring."

"Yeah. Me too." Rue agreed. Most students were grabbing some coffee in the Physics and Engineering building lobby. "Maybe we can go to the room early." She suggested as she would rather read at a desk than out in the hallway on a bench.

"Hear anyone in there?" Prim asked as Rue pressed her ear to the door to their lab room.

"Nope - wait -" A curious expression crossed Rue's face as she pressed her ear to the door. "I guess the equipment is heavy." She commented as a moan escaped through the crack under the door.

"Wait..." Prim said pressing her ear against the door wondering what was going on inside the classroom.

"Wiress, they'll love you, baby!" Thump.

"Beetee!" Prim's face turned bright red.

"Let's go!" She hissed pulling Rue down the hallway.

"What? Wait... Did you hear Wiress and Professor Wright in there?" Rue asked staring into Prim's mortified face and putting the pieces together.

"Yeah. Making the same noises Katniss and Peeta or Gale made when she kicked me out of our room!" Prim blurted out.

"EW! They were doing THAT in there! This is gonna be sooooo awkward!" Rue yelped.

"Rue! Shush!" Prim hissed as the door opened. Professor Wright left the room straightening a pocket protector in his shirt while humming happily. Luckily he exited the hallway without noticing two freshmen girls who were barely buying back giggles.

"Maybe we really should read our lab manual since I think we're just doing metric system stuff." Prim pointed out. Half an hour later, they filed into the classroom with the other twenty-eight students in the class. They lined up along the counters along the wall leaving the vacant space in the middle for the teaching assistant who came out of a side door as class began.

"Now, I am Wiress Carpenter, the physics lab teaching assistant." Wiress paused looking around the room. "I also run the tutoring center in the Engineering and Sciences dorm -" she trailed off as she smiled at several students she recognized. "Today you'll go around the room working on metric system exercises." Pointing to the pieces of equipment on the counters along the walls, she explained each station. "Now you may begin."

"Uh - Wiress - I think someone spilled something on the counter." A boy called from the corner. Prim gasped as Rue slapped away her hand that had nearly landed in a milky white liquid. Blushing to the roots of her black hair, Wiress grabbed a wad of paper towels.

"Oh - no - just don't touch -" Prim and Rue used their time between stations to leave the room to take a giggle break.

"Physics was good." Rue said as she ate a piece of freshly cooked French Bread as they sat in the industrial kitchen at Peeta's frat.

"Do you guys have lab after?" Peeta's eyes darted back and forth as the girls exchanged glances. "What?"

"I had to explain the professor and his grad student's extracurricular activities to this one!" Prim blurted out.

"HEY!" Rue squealed.

"Hey when you hear your sister enough times..." To Prim's satisfaction, Peeta blushed darkly and was suddenly interested in scrubbing a spot on one of the ovens.

"Oh." Peeta replied. "That would be awkward. So, um, no more class today?" The girls shook their heads.

"Bio lab on Tuesday for me." Prim said.

"Oh, I have that too!" Rue piped up. "It's plant and animal biology lab, so my class requires it."

"That makes sense." Peeta said checking the oven.

"Are you making dinner?" Prim asked curiously as Peeta checked the oven and consulted a large baking textbook.

"Sorta. I'm mostly making samples of a few recipes." He explained before pulling a loaf out of the oven and tapping it. Just then the doors burst open as Marvel and Cato came in wearing grimy Panem University Football shorts and t-shirts.

"Mmmmmm!" Cato growled tearing a corner off the freshly baked bread.

"You can have half, bro." Peeta said. "I need the other half for class."

"Dude! Did you just eat his homework?" Marvel yelped as Rue and Prim laughed.

"No!" Cato yelped around a mouthful. Peeta shook his head as he cut his bread and placed half in a clearly labeled Tupperware container. "What you two doing here?" He asked the two girls at the counter.

"Hanging out. We're meeting Katniss here in a few." Prim explained. "So, you had football practice?" Cato grunted his assent.

"First game is in two weeks." Marvel explained as Cato wolfed down more bread. "You can get free tickets if you do Rush."

"Wait, we get free tickets with our student ID's." Rue pointed out.

"Yeah, but the Greeks reserved the first two rows!" Cato explained.

"Prim! Rue!" Prim waved to Katniss who came into the kitchen. "Cato, you just ate Peeta's homework!" She yelped glaring at Cato who had his mouth full of bread.

"Relax, Katniss. They can eat half."

"Give some to the girls! Honestly!" Katniss huffed.

"We ate some already." Rue remarked even as Peeta cut each of them a large slice.

"Katniss, babe, this one's yours." He handed her a thick slice of bread. "So, we were talking about the football game. Are you coming?"

"I'm not sitting with the Greeks." Katniss muttered.

"Well, we can meet up afterward." Peeta suggested. Prim and Rue silently finished their bread listening to the upperclassmen finalize their plans.

"Gale's coming." Katniss' explanation wiped the smile off Peeta's face as Cato snorted his disdain. "What? He's an alumnus!" Peeta sighed. "What? Peeta? Just because I want to bring a friend with me! We'd sit by these two!" She pointed to her sister and roommate.

"Katniss, we don't always need you and Gale to chaperone us to extracurricular activities, you know." Prim pointed out so Cato and Marvel wouldn't think she needed to go everywhere in Panem University with Katniss.

"I know, but can't I take my sister to a football game?" Seeing the maternal look in Katniss' eyes, Prim smiled.

"It will be fun." Rue added as Prim nodded.

"Good. You two just get your homework done these first two weeks! I mean it!" Katniss said before walking over to Peeta and wrapping her arms around him. "Thanks for the bread, sweet Pete."

"Sappiness overload!" Breaking off their kiss at Prim's loud commentary, Katniss and Peeta blushed. "Ok, Rue and I are going back to the dorm! Later, Katniss and Peeta!"
