A/N: Wow it's been forever everyone. Sorry I wasn't able to post this sooner. I have been crazy busy with school stuff, and I didn't have the time to post chapters for this. I will try to return to a once per week update schedule. Please feel free to comment, review, or post any suggestions you have.

Ren's Team: Infernape, Starraptor, Rotom, Scizor, Glaceon, Deoxys

Misaki's Team: Empoleon, Roserade, Raichu, Flareon, Altaria, Shaymin

"Geez, it's freezing outside!" Misaki complained.

The three of us had reached Snowpoint City after half a day of traveling. The path here was filled with freezing blizzards. The only good thing that happened during the journey was my Eevee evolving. We were now warming up at the pokemon center.

"I wonder how everyone else is handling the blizzards?" I wondered.

"That soloist Ryota probably got through like it was nothing." Misaki sighed.

"I think that's the first time I've heard you compliment Ryota." I said.

"Well strength is about the only good thing about him. He's such a pain in the ass. Bet you he'll never get a girlfriend."

"What about you Misaki? Is there anyone you have a crush on?" Clair asked.

"W-What?! No there isn't anyone I have a crush on!" Misaki blushed. She turned her eyes towards me for a second, then immediately put her head down in embarrassment.

Could she be... No, It's probably just my imagination.

We continued sitting in the pokemon center. Suddenly, an earthquake shook the pokemon center. After a few seconds, it stopped.

"What was that?" Misaki wondered.

"No clue. Let's head outside and check." I suggested.

When we got outside, everything seemed fairly ordinary. What happened then?

"Over there!" Misaki pointed. We looked over towards the far end of the city. A large commotion seemed to be occurring by Snowpoint Temple. We ran over there. When we got there, we saw that the doors were blasted away. We walked up to a player.

"What happened?" I asked.

"A group of Team Reaper members entered the temple." he answered.

"This can't be good." Misaki said.

I looked over towards the temple. A player was running towards it. I recognized him right away. It was Ryota. I called out to him. He turned his gaze towards us, but didn't pay us any mind. He ran into the temple.

"Some things never change." Misaki complained. We ran in after him.

The temple seemed completely trashed inside. Reaper grunts were lying on the floor unconscious. I saw Ryota go up the stairs to the next floor.

"Did Ryota do all this?" Misaki gasped.

"No. Even he couldn't take all of them out in a couple seconds." I said.

We followed Ryota up the stairs. We kept going up the floors of the temple. At each floor it was the same scene. Unconcious Reaper grunts were all over the place. We finally reached the top floor and caught up with Ryota. It was a large room. The center had five pillars around it.

"Ryota, what is going...?" Misaki began to ask, but another earthquake interrupted her. When we regained our balance, we saw the cause. Standing past Ryota was a colossal pokemon. It was the legendary pokemon Regigigas.

"Wow! That thing's HUGE!" Misaki exclaimed.

"We need to take it down and stop these quakes." I said. Misaki and I grabbed our pokeballs, but Ryota stopped us.

"This is my fight. Butt out!" Ryota yelled.

"What's your problem?! Let us help!" Misaki glared.

"I don't need your help! I can handle this thing all by myself!"

Misaki was about to yell at him again, but I interrupted her.

"Let's let him do this."

Misaki stood there conflicted for a little but finally nodded. We stepped back as Ryota threw out a pokeball. A Garchomp appeared and let out a powerful roar.

Ryota POV:

Regigigas stood in front of me. Its power almost seemed to radiate around the room. And that is why I will not lose. I will make that power mine.

"Garchomp, use dragon dance!" I commanded. Garchomp revved itself up and a red aura surrounded it.

Regigigas took a step and swung its fist at Garchomp. Garchomp quickly moved out of the way.

"Dragon rush!"

Garchomp lept at its colossal opponent and charged with a dragon shaped aura around it. It pushed the legendary pokemon back a few meters. Regigigas quickly recovered and sent Garchomp flying back with a powerful mega punch. Garchomp crashed into one of the pillars and destroyed it.

I will not lose this! I can beat this guy!

"Use fire fang!"

Garchomp's fangs became veiled in flames as it ran at Regigigas. Regigigas threw a punch, but Garchomp evaded it and bit down on the arm.

"Dragon rush!"

Once again, Garchomp charged with a dragon rush attack. At such close range, there was no way it could miss. Regigigas was sent back and fell over. It still had about half its hp left.

"End this with draco meteor!"

Garchomp fire a blast into the air. It split into several falling blasts aiming across the floor. Regigigas became swept up in the attack as debris filled the room. Garchomp's hp was at its limit, so I returned it to its pokeball. When the smoke cleared, Regigigas stood there with little hp left.

"You're mine!" I said throwing a pokeball. Regigigas entered the ball. It clicked, signaling a success. Suddenly a voice entered my head.

Very good Ryota... You have become much stronger...

"Who's there?! Show yourself!" I called out. No answer came.

"Ryota? You okay?" Ren asked.

"I'm fine. Shut up." I replied. Something was off though. That voice. I know I didn't imagine it. In fact, it even sounded familiar.

Who was that...

Ren POV:

After Ryota caught Regigigas, the tremors subsided. I didn't know who or what he was calling out to, but I shrugged it off. We all exited the temple.

"Well at least that's over." Misaki sighed.

"There's one thing I don't get though." Clair wondered. "Why was Team Reaper here?"

We all stopped and thought for a moment. Clair had a point. Why were they there?

"I can answer that question for you." a voice spoke up from behind us. We looked at the roof of the temple and saw a familiar face. Thoron of Team Reaper. By his side was Agatha as well.

"Oh god. What do you want?" Misaki sighed.

"We just thought we'd grace you with our presence." Agatha laughed.

"Why did you come here?" I asked.

"Regigigas was a sleeping Pokemon. We just needed to walk in and wake it up." Thoron smirked.

"What's the point of that?" Clair asked.

"To keep you losers out of our way." Thoron replied.

"From what?"

To answer our question, Thoron took out a pokeball. He tossed it and a pokemon appeared. It was an Uxie! Agatha also threw out a pokeball, revealing a Mesprit!

"That's not all." another voice laughed. Its owner walked into view, followed by another person. They seemed familiar. Suddenly it hit me. It was Darach and Caitlyn!

"Darach?! You're with Team Reaper too?!" Misaki gasped.

"That's right! And I've got a little something special for you." he smirked as he threw out a pokeball. Out from it came Azelf.

"While you fools were distracted by Regigigas, we were able to obtain Uxie, the last of the trio. And now our master plan can finally go into motion." Thoron laughed.

"Master plan?"

"We will use the power of this trio to awaken a hidden power. That power will allow us to conquer all of PWO!"

We all stood there speechless. If that power was as strong as Thoron said, everyone was in big trouble.

"As if we'd just let you get away with that!" Misaki yelled.

"You couldn't stop us if you tried." Agatha said.

In the distance we heard a helicopter approaching. They were going to get away.

"If you want to stop us, come to Celestic Town. We'll settle things there." Thoron laughed.

The four Reaper admins sent out Golbat, which they used to fly away. They left us alone in Snowpoint City.

Celestic Town... Just what are they planning there?

In Celestic Town...

The ruins in Celestic Town had escaped the notice of many players. A spark of curiosity however had brought me here.

Who would have thought that the secret to infinite power was buried in this dung heap? Finally with the lake trio, I will be invincible. All will bow down before me.

"Sir, we have the lake trio." Thoron said, entering the ruins.

"Good. Bring them to the altar." I ordered.

Thoron walked further into the ruins with all three legendary pokemon. Finally, my moment of triumph will be at hand.

The ruins began to shake, signaling the success. Looking towards the entrance, I saw the ground before me tear away. The ruins began levitating into the air. This was the secret of PWO's Sinnoh region. The Shadow Fortress.

Nothing can stop me now.
